Hola soy de Chile y fanática de tus vídeos, sobre todo los de yoga pero entiendo muy poco ingles, sera posible que hagas vídeos traducidos al español seria maravilloso poder entender tus instrucciones, ojala leas mi comentario!!! bye
Thank you so much for thus one,I always wanted to learn it! ❤❤❤
Thanks for this. Some useful tips that helped me really “ground” my Bird of Paradise!
Could you tell me what poses I should master first before doing this? And what poses to warm up? Should I master standing split first? Thank you
I am a 19 year old boy who was a blue belt in Taekwondo, I stop for a few months cuz of school, I think I have the time now to do this, but my flexibility right now seems kinda rusty. Might as well try still. Wish me luck guys.
I can do it! I just can’t straighten the the raised leg yet!
I like this in general but on the pose after triangle pose it kills my knees. Can I skip it?
do you have a dominant leg? lol, my left side is more flexible and is stronger than my right, (which is odd considering I’m a righty for everything else) plus I have better balance on it, I can pull this off up until extending fully on my left but I’m too wobbly and not flexible enough on my right haha helppp
I keep practising but my leg can’t stretch straight when I’m standing i follow a lot of yoga workout @boho beautiful
What a beautiful practice, I’ve never done these poses before but love them x
So thankful for the ‘how to prep’ for the pose. It can be intimidating and frustrating not knowing how best to prepare. Thank you so much.
Esther! how is it possible to keep that balance…. it seems impossible for me:)
I love your videos! Can you make a yoga for runners or a hip strengthening session? Thank you so much!
Or you could just take up yoga, enjoy the journey and not rush to this advanced asana.
Amazing! Would love to see a video on some beginner going into the next level poses. X
What if I just can’t extend my legs when I am standing? It seems like I will never be able to do it:(
yup as of right now my shoulder would pop right out of my socket with step one! this stuff might help my crap posture though!
can i ask how long it took you to master this pose? Or were you naturally flexible to begin with? I struggle with hamstring and hip flexibility but have been working actively on it for almost a year now, with some slight results. not much but learning to be comfortable with the natural limitations of my own body. thank you!
Something to work toward! Thank you Esther. Your instruction is always so clear. You are an inspiration!
if you people are just here to troll, then find a sport to keep you busy like oh, I don’t know…chasing cars on the highway or something.
leave the young lady alone and respect what she can do that you can’t!
Enough said
Could you do a videos on how to increase flexibility (how to get your legs exactly 90degrees up like your when lifted in bird of paradise or lifted from the side, how to get your middle splits to the point where you can practice over middle splits and look like you are doing a perfect straddle in head stand, opening your inner groin and external hip flexors for middle splits and open side lunges and a bendy back for forward folds and backbends to get your foot to reach your head when lifted in downward dog from the back. Please make a video on how to increase flexibility, not for beginner but for intermediate advanced practitioner who would love your hamstring and rotation if hip and normal hip/ groin flexibility and your bendy back when you create nice arch in downward to and lift your leg past 90 degrees to touch your head. Thanks for all you videos
could you do a meditation video for deep sleep with no wake up at the end.
love this videos! It would be nice is on the description you talk a little bit about the benefits of each posse. Thanks!
So awesome! I love the new one pose yoga videos.. well and all of your videos! haha Thank you!
You are amazing and amazing video again, love youuuu so much <3
@Poopface696 I hear ya! I fall over as soon as I straighten the raised leg. It will come with practice I suppose.
great commentary, thank you. I am working on a tighter vertical in Bird of Paradise with the foot pointing straight up. I think it requires a tighter bind but it is considerably more difficult but very expressive and aesthetically very beautiful that way. The commentary about shoulder rotation is helpful, thank you
Wow tonight I had a dream where I managed to do a full bird of paradise! Cool coincidence:)
Dear Juliana and Mark, would you please do a backbending from standing tutorial? I’ve been practicing for a few months and still don’t get it. I’d love to follow your tutorials because I believe in you. Thanks in advance! <3
U always give me a more challenging video which I loved a lot.. Thank you for ur helpful videos
just what i was looking for in regards to demonstration of poses but also using language to describe what is the action in the body that is happening as a result of the postures but also the affect on your body as you mindfully approach your practice by paying attention to the action and reaction of each pose.
So Beautiful!!
Can you teach us how to do a yoga scorpion pose. or even a standing scorpion. Anything with scorpion
I can do it all the way up to extending my leg! I have so much trouble keeping my legs flexible in that way
@Maunalee type in “YOGA Routine For Lower Back Pain. With Esther Ekhart,” I can’t leave a link here youtube won’t let me. And type in “YOGA for Lower Back Relieve” For abs as well type in “Easy Yoga for lower Back and Core ” and “YOGA for the LOWER ABS” Hope that helps:-)
This isn’t exactly on topic, but I trust that my question will be taken seriously here.
Does burnt food really cause cancer?
P.S. This video is incredible!
This days Im practicing your advanced yoga flow with hand stand and bird of paradise pose. Amazing! Thank you for that. Please make more videos with ”how to do” some yoga pose. (side split will be great even you have hip opening)
Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your videos, my body is reborn. You are my yoga teacher, often and life teacher.:)
Peace and love <3
I really appreacite the disclaimer. Not so many peope take the time to do such a small yet important thing prevention is key to many problems for people. I am pretty flexible myself, i am an athlete also ive tried this position for the first time today and i got to say it was great but definitly nothing that id recommend for a beginner in yoga nor in any kind of sport. Please be gentle with your body and thanks for the video!!! i enjoyed this position a lot i had fun doing it:D
Is there any way to make my arms and shoulders look better in this pose? I’m unable to open up my chest when I’m doing this (well, I can’t straighten the leg completely either, but I’m working on it), and I suppose it’s because I stretch my hips and legs a lot, but completely neglect my upper body. Could anyone recommend some excercises that could help me make my arms and shoulders cooperate during the paradise bird pose?
OMG it’s been 4 months
your voice still the same
jesus this’s bring me back in time
when I was doing these things
every day every morning
i remember on time i was so tired then you said “keep pushing” i pushed so hard and I done it so well because of you
thank you so much for doing that for us big love from me to you
❤
#love_for_ever
I sleep better thanks to Yoga, Yogatic, and Esther’s gracious guidance. Thank you, Esther.

This is glorious, been searching for “is yoga a full body workout?” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of Fiyaniel Phrenic Finder (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now )?
It is a great exclusive product for discovering how to use yoga to get the best booty and body without the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my mate got excellent success with it.
You’re fantastic, may you continue to enjoy your adventures!
great thumbnail (photo) on the teaser to this video. you are very creative, J.
@mici357, try lifting your toes on your supporting foot. Sometimes, when I’m having an off day as far as balance, I lay a heavy bean bag across my foot/feet. It’s all about what’s comfortable for you!
That was beautiful flow.
Question: how do you breath on specific part of your body? Like you said breath in on your left kidney.
Thank you.
Thank you very much for this video
You always make poses easy to do
If you only care about people paying for your classes, why false advertise a “free” class and have the session cut off arbitrarily? There is no birds of paradise in this flow. Am I supposed to just stop mid sequence and go grab my debit card to finish? It would have been more beneficial to at least show how to do the pose mentioned in the title. What a waste.
Good morning etchart!!thamks you for reach me that pose i can dp it where are you teaching wich city thanks namaste!!!
Esther love your yoga taking 10 day challenge….. I love this sequence!! I can’t seem to link my arms please advise thank u Namaste
I used to do the triangle pose with ease and I actually loved the feel of the stretch but since I got my inner hamstring strained from hasty and multiple stretching(I strained it when I was doing the seated-leg spread pose multiple times), I now feel it difficult to do the triangle. Will my hamstring heal? if so, when? I still do yoga despite my inner hammy problem but I am a little worried that I might not be able to do the stretches to my maximum capacity. I appreciate the help, Stef
my legs are flexible so i can stretch it quite far almost to my head but i cant seem to keep my back straight
Sure wished I was at your flexibility, working on it. thank you. semper fi
Thank you for these yoga pose tutorials!! <3 can you pls do the scorpion oder something like that too?
Oh, good Lord, THAT’S Bird of Paradise? I still struggle with Triangle (and to a lesser extent, Downward Dog my forearms are pathetically weak). This, this is going to take years until I can even try it.
Thank you for this video! We did this in class today and I was unable to follow the teacher. Now I know I can do it:)
@Yogapig Of course you can. As soon as you notice that a pose isn’t right for you, you skip it. Everybody’s body is different and you will come across poses that might not be suitable to you! Good luck!
Where was the bird of paradise???? And why did you do only one side for the half moon?? Waste of time.
This is brilliant. I do this sequence everyday now. Sometimes twice! I love it
So smooth one of my favourites to do and thank you for the yoga sequence to Bird of Paradise pose
That is pretty cool! Don’t think I’ve ever seen that done before. That takes tremendous strength and ability. You are pretty awesome!
Hi! I love your videos! can I also ask where you get your cute stretchy leggings and your to
s? I am kind of having problems finding leggings that aren’t uncomfortable when doing splits and stuff and that don’t really show sweat stains after working out… Thank you so much for making the videos, you were the one who made feel motivated to work out regularly and thank you so much for making feel okay to have better days than others and to not be able to do things perfectly the first time
Hello Juliana and Mark. First I would like to thank you for all the videos you make for us. And second I will like to watch a video for weight loss of arms, back and shoulder, thank you guys! Daniela from Colombia.
I can’t even get my hand to touch my back, like I have super short arms lol.
wow! so much love here. she makes it look so easy. failure on step one. lol. she does make me want to try hard now.
I finally got this a few months ago, and still feeling super excited!♥♥♥
I think this class is for more experienced people that can just follow her instructions. For me it was a bit too fast.
thank you Juliana for all those tutorials that you’ve posted so far! we love them! <3 lots of love! Viktoriya and Oksana
This is glorious, I’ve been looking for “palm tree pose yoga journal” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across Fiyaniel Phrenic Finder (do a search on google )?
It is a great exclusive guide for discovering how to use yoga to get the best booty and body without the headache. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my neighbour got great results with it.
If that’s all…:D (just kidding) I love all of your videos! Go on this way… =)
I love your videos they transmit so much peace and light and positivity.
Thank you so much for this video! I can’t get my left foot off the ground yet but I CAN clamp and that’s flexibility I gained from doing your videos! Thank you both for what you do! I pray you both are well and healing strong! Love you guys! Total inspirations in many ways! All I want to do now is move to Thailand and dedicate part of my life to the elephants!
can you make one on a handstand? i’ve mastered the headstand but handstands are nearly impossible for me lol
Dat was een vreselijk onaardige opmerking van mij, mijn excuses. Ik probeer het gewoon nog een keer, want ik kan wel zien dat je heel goed bent.
I love that you don’t feel the need to wear a layer of makeup, because you are so naturally beautiful:) thank you for the tutorials:)
I’ve tried her classes on the Cody App. They are fantastic. She’s got a great, light-hearted genuine approach that is refreshing and not stuffy or preachy as some of the yoga instructors I have seen.
Is it just me, or does her torso kinda look like a photoshop error (if you pause at 1:45)
Meghan, where did you get those Yoga pants… love them <3 <3 <3 Anyone know?
Esther, Thanks for sharing you make look easy…..and beautiful.
Esther! You are wonderful! I have done all of your videos that i can do at the level I am at right now. I am wondering if you have a video for lower back pain? I am horrible lower back pain that I hear yoga can help. Also, maybe a video for lower abs? I have done the abs workout many many times and have noticed a difference in my upper abs and sides, but I still have that annoying lower belly bulge. Thanks so much for all of your videos!
Love this sequence…so organic and flowing…pure art.
Namaste:)
