Gluten free AND vegan?!? I’m in heaven. I’ve been vegan for over 10 years, but found I have a gluten allergy over a year ago and I’ve been floundering a bit transitioning. Thank you so much!
YAY gluten free!!!:) I can’t wait to try this. I love the beginning hahah
All your muffin cups look so good. Can these be frozen? I’d like to be prepared and still have variety.
Hi Dani. I love your recipes and would love to try this one too. Unfortunately, there is no pumpkin pure in my country available, so with what could I substitute it? Maybe apple sauce, but would the same amount work do I need more or less? Your answer is very well appreciated. <3
I just made a batch of these and they are baking in the oven right now! My daughter loves the banana chocolate chip ones, so I thought I would try these for a flavour variation for her.
These muffins would NOT last a week in my house Lol Looks so delish will try soon
Well love you Dani! Your recipes are delicious and healthy. You are a lifesaver and we love your personality too ☺️
Thank you for sharing such a well-made video! You showed us exactly what we should see in the bowl at every stage.
*Pointing the camera at the bowl instead of the chef*, and providing instructional text on the screen made this video superior to all the other videos I viewed.

Good afternoon! I am currently baking your chocolate banana oatmeal muffins for the first time. I can already smell the “yummy” permeating from the oven. Hopefully it will turn out. I used frozen bananas that I had in my freezer. Question that I have is do you have any savory oatmeal muffin recipes?

I wouldn’t change anything about it. It looks Just
fine the way it is…Well Done!
Just wondering how much sugar and or brown sugar I could add do a bit more sweetness or is the syrup enough?
In Australia that canned pumpkin that you have in the U.S isn’t sold at all that I know of so I suppose just buy and mash our own we use pumpkin of course all the time here so it’s no prob. We would have to use mixed spice too.
Oh my goodness! Do Americans really eat donuts for breakfast Eeek!
I looooovvvvveeee this recipe! Saw it last week, and I’ve already made it twice. I just used steamed butternut though, which was left over. Don’t even blend it, I just mash it with a fork with the wet ingredients. Delicious!!!
Dani Will this work baked in a loaf pan instead of muffin pan? Would it change the temperature and/or baking time?
Probably already noted somewhere.. but can I use quick/rolled oats? What will it effect and how should I compensate for it? THANKS!
I only had molasses and buttermilk. This came out pretty tasty. Thanks.
This is great because its gluten free.
I heard from MD that gluten causes most of the autoimmune diseases and 1/3 of Americans are affected, because modern flours contain so much more gluten to make jumbo bagels, pizzas…etc, compared to 40-50 yrs ago. Modern medicine only treats or masks symptoms but not cure the root causes, and they said by eliminating gluten lots of auto-immune diseases can be cured, so I decided to go gluten free.
Please do more gluten free recipes!!
Not sweet at all; even though I added about a Tbsp brown sugar with the maple syrup. They needed slightly more than half and hour in my 350 degree oven. They should be mixed well as I want to be sure to bake through due to the eggs. Very dark, color. I used raisins and walnuts.
AWESOME!!! Can’t wait to try!!! ^^ Thanks for this amazing recipe! ^^
LOVE THAT YOU PUT YOUR YUMMY DELICIOUS RECIPES AND DIRECTIONS UNDERNEATH SO WE CAN HAVE THEM FOR LATER THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING

Great recipe….altho Everytime I bake vegan, I can never seem to get my batter to rise….taste great just looks uncooked! Help
I made the muffins with mashed natural roasted pumpkin (I don’t like using canned food) they were all devoured in less than a hour, my husband and my 12 year old daughter kept coming back for more until the finished them up.
Maple syrup? Nope, NOT healthy; horrible for glucose levels and inflammation.
Great idea. I’ve put the ingredients on my grocery list. Yes, I like easy-to-make recipes that will keep for awhile in the freezer.
I am SO glad to have found this recipe. I am always looking for clean and healthy recipes with oats. I eat oatmeal every day to lower my cholesterol. Eliminating dairy and eating oats has lowered my number over 60 points!
I know what I’m going to make as soon as I finish this coffee!

Any ideas for a delicious wheat free birthday cake? This year my wheat sensitivity went from sensitivity to full blown allergy. My birthday is coming up in mid November and I am now used to not eating sweets and anything with flour from the wheat plant, but most alternatives don’t seem appealing (I can’t stand the taste of almonds, so no almond flour please). Anywhoo…I’ve embraced this new lifestyle, but every now and again, I would like to enjoy the good old days without swelling up and cutting off my windpipe! Thanks for any of your help!
these pumpkin muffins look great!! we don’t have pumpkins yet, the season for us is only october hahah:D
Thanks Brenda. I love when the fall flavors come back into play.
Ha great question Robert. I’m pretty good, but sometimes the cookie dough beckons; )
My understanding is that Bob’s does NOT test on animals but Bob and his wife Charlee have given a $25 mil donation to Oregon Health & Science University to study childhood obesity and other diseases. The University DOES do animal testing though they have assured Bob that no part of the donation would be used in animal tests. Some people feel that by supporting the University itself Bob is indirectly supporting animal testing while others are comfortable with the estrangement.
Love any kind of Gluten free recipes and these muffins look great!
xo @TheHotPlate1
great series I admire your restraint with your fingers! When I cook, I rake the rest of the ingredients out with my fingers, scrape the batter off the spoon with my fingers, etc. Of course I wash my hands well before I start and rinse them after each time I touch the food… but I am much more casual with my cooking. Just wondered if you are as delicate at home for yourself?
Hi Julie, I heard that Bob’s Red Mill does animal testing. Do you know if that is true?
Julie is so pretty!! and she cooks so many yummy things.:)
Go to our website everydaydish.tv and you can print the recipe

Hi Dani. Portion-wise….would you say just one muffin would be a whole breakfast? Or would you eat it along with something else? Or maybe 2 muffins? Lol

They look great Stef,
I’m actually editing a pumpkin walnut bread video right now.
It’s amazing how quickly our minds gravitate towards the pumpkin spices after Labor day.
Stef, those muffins are just gorgeous, and really good for you. Maybe for a Monday video, you should make a healthy vegetarian pizza with carrots, broccoli, mushrooms, and olives, that would make any vegetarian happy, and I am patiently waiting for my healthy raspberry lemonade cookies to be made. Keep it healthy and hearty, Stef. See ya soon. Byron.:-)
