tried it and it tastes amazing!! she really snapped with this recipe
Mom and Grandmother should be proud…this looks scrumptious.
I know you posted awhile ago. This looks fantastic. Is it possible to use the tamarind paste? I think it would be easier to find, seems to me I have seen in the grocery store. I had a version of this at a restaurant and preferred all the veggies.
Tried it.. Turned out superb.. Made with hakka noodles.. was amazing..
have fun eating off that plate it has no borders to account for any spillage that is bound to happen looks good but also loks like a u r gonna have a bad time eating it:P
I like the recipe but just it’s annoys me because she moves her hand way too much.
I made this today!!:D I didn’t have the soybean or miso paste so I just left it out, but it still tasted soo good, this’ll definitely be a regular dish
I love you so much wow thanks for so many amazing videos I’m in love
Cant deal with the fuckin lullaby… seriously this is for food not putting people to sleep.
Pad Thai is one of my fav things to eat although I prefer wheat noodles over rice ones.
if you soak tamarind first use just the juice it will be better,,,,,,,:)
Sawasdee ka! Thank you so much for this! I found this recipe yesterday; I’m off to the store today to get the ingredients; this is what’s for dinner tonight!! Please do more vegetarian Thai recipes! Kob kun ka!
Thank you for sharing your Vegetarian Pat Thai recipe. Lots of veges already make me feel healthy. Love your recipe and I’ll definitely try it. Looking forward to your next recipe.
You lost me when you said celery and broccoli! Not traditional, but westernized.
Delicious vegan take on this dish. Thanks for the recipe! I have recently featured this video as the vegan option in my Pad Thai recipes mash-up: https://www.getrevue.co/profile/cookup/issues/pad-thai-257317
Is sugar really important?? I don’t like sweet and spice together.
I made this today and it was DELICIOUS. Tasted just like restaurant pad thai. Thanks Pai!
I can actually make do without the noodles. Think the bean curd with the rest of the ingredients are good enough
I tried it but the noodles dint get soaked in 3-4 minutes it took s lot of time and they were still raw
hi, great recipe! I was wondering what sugar could I use instead of palm one, I don’t think I can find it here in Italy… thank you!
I have been wanting to find a nice vegan pad Thai recipe for a while, can’t wait to make this! Thank you so much for sharing
Yummy recipe it looks thank you for sharing. Won’t you put sesame seeds in it?
I tried thi green curry first time it came so well my son in law used to eat in u s he said it is perfect I also made thi noodles with crushed moongfli and fried eggs thank you and love you
Pad thai is my new fav food i like Amy’s but i want to make my own i think this recipe look so good
love this, can’t wait to try…do you have any vegetarian lunch ideas for my son’s lunch box?
Absolutely SMASHING! First time. Fam loved it… Thank you!!
Hey, it’s 2020. We’re all confined to our homes cause an idiot put shit in his mouth that had no business being there.
Pretty good. So glad you can’t taste & don’t notice the celery + onions but you still get the benefits!
This recipe is amazingly delicious. Thank you, Ms. Lauren, for your detailed recipe and video. Your Vegan Pad Thai is the best dish I have cooked so far in my life. When I tasted the sauce I couldn’t believe how delicious it was! And the Pad Thai, extraordinary. Thank you so much for helping people around the world eat healthier and expand their culinary horizons.
Fantastic thank you. Great energy in this video and it looks amazing, will give it a try.
Omg! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. It’s the real deal. Taste exactly like pad Thai except it’s vegan.
You guys never use or explain actual measurements. You miss the most important parts. Also, a lot of people don’t know how to cook tofu because tofu is easier to cook in a non stick biodegradable human safe pan.
Always love your videos! May I ask what kind of oil do you use?
Thanks for the recipe! Just made it for my fam & was pleasantly surprised!
Just made this (short on a few ingredients, mind you) and it was amazing!!
can you add almonds or cashew if you’re allergic to peanuts?
It was ok until they got to the tamarind paste:( (no way to get it here)
Yes finally someone Thai whose cooking their food and explaining how to do it the authentic way. Not some white hipster
Not to mention the huge waste of plastic when you order take out.
I stopped before the video ended to make this.. now just coming back, happy and fuelled
this isnt really pad thai more just like an asian stir fry noodle dish
This recipe is NOT WORTH IT. I would honestly go out for Pad Thai instead. I followed the recipe step by step and it was pretty much tasteless. In fact, its probably the worst noodle dish i ever made lol the sauce is literally soy sauce and chilli sauce togehter, nothing spectacular to be honest. Sarah you’re awesome but I would not recommend this recipe to anyone.
This is NOT how you make pad Thai. If you want real pad Thai, use an authentic recipe, because it’s as simple as this one.
Hey, nice recipe. Looking forward for more dishes from you. Great job.
Throw ayway the aluminum pan and please research aluminum cause it’s not good for your health.
Your content helps me to deal with my uneasiness, thanks a lot
When you frying the tofu you can add a little soy sauce and a little pepper flake.
So your tofu has more color and flavor
I’ve got some problems to fall asleep… well not any more and great recipe btw:)
I crave this all the time after trying it the first time. SOOOOOO GOOOD!!!
I think I just watched a jdrama waiting for something to happen.. i like this perspective.
Excellent video. More vegan dishes please. Animals love life too.❤️
is that a knuckle duster? did we expect the tofu to put up a fight? i thought that was the whole point of vegan food. nobody to hurt for getting fed.
Now i want to make it for my GF and me for lunch. But i’ve never seen tofu like Yours in stores in my country they only have tofu that looks like feta cheese or smoked version:(
Serious skill AND talent! Cute ya boot! THANKS! Gonna do it ASAP!
I wanted a veggie pad thai recipe and I got ASMR as a bonus, thx 😉
I made this tonight, and Omgosh it is amazing!!! My hubby loved it too!!!
Hi. I enjoyed watching the receipe & ibam planning to make it. I had some questions to ask.
1) is pak choy or bok choy
same
2) if we don’t have brown sugar can we use normal sugar
3) substitute of tofu??
Vegan is very healthy and happy. I have been vegan for 50 years. I have not seen a doctor at all. I hope that foreign friends will come to Taiwan to eat vegan. I wish you vegan health and happiness. Any wish and good wish can be achieved.
hello palin i live in khon kaen and i really love your recipes, but there is something wrong with the written recipe page there is a big brown color that cover alf of the page..can you please look into it…blessings
I just made this for dinner this eveningexcellent! I used a sweet chili sauce, but my lime was extra tart so it all worked out. As long as everything is prepped ahead of time this goes very smoothly. I did use a butter spray for the egg, and then minimal amounts of oil for the actual stir fry of veggies and tofu. Lots of calories in oil, not to mention it’s not particularly good for us, so would like to see more chefs advocating the use of less, not more oil. Overall, a very tasty dish!
nice video but this recipes is not real at all i’m Thai person
Only thing I differ with is this: Tamarind adds a sour or tangy taste, not a sweet taste, the sweetness comes from palm sugar in traditional thai recipes. The dates would better make a good substitute for the palm sugar. Otherwise I love this and all the extra veges makes it super yummy.
My family love the pad Thai I made using this recipe, thank you for the content
Love your channel!! Thank you for all the cooking tips and a super delicious recipe!!
Loved the recipes.. Looks delicious.. Also visit https://uibackbenchers.com/thai-curry-recipes-and-the-healthy-sides-with-entire-details/ for more thai recipes
Hi Sarah, I’m a big fan of your channel and have been following almost every video. You are wonderful. However, in my humble opinion, this recipe should have been called the ‘ Vegetarian fried rice-noodle with tofu’ not Pad Thai. Although you tried to adapt the way we cook Pad Thai to this dish, you have missed several signature and significant ingredients, for example ; tamarind sauce; sweet pickled turnip; bean sprouts or palm sugar (not the dark brown sugar) in the recipe. I’m still love your program, just wanted to share my little thought only.
Why call it a Pad Thai when it has no component that resembles it except rice noodle (which can be an ingredient in any noodle dish)?
Lauren, do you have any recipes that you make using jack fruit? I go to a local vegan takeout and they make great sandwiches using jack fruit and konjac root. They make a Shrimp Po Boy with Konjac root that taste like real shrimp. It is seriously delicious! Please make some videos on how to prepare meals using the jack fruit and the konjac root., PLEASE!!
OMG!!! We’re spirit sisters !!! There’s NEVER enough broccoli !!!
I thought you weren’t suppose to heat coconut oil past a certain temperature. Cooking coconut oil comes melted already for the cooking.
Muy buena receta. Saludos desde chile. Like si eres chileno xD
This looks so beautiful.. but… where’s the salt and pepper?
Hi Pai, I am a bit confused, the pad Thai noodle I have, the direction says to be cooked in boiling water for 8 minutes, but yours just soaked in water for 11.5 hours and will be ready to cook. which one is the “more Thai authentic way”? Thanks and appreciate it.
I love the way she chomps on her food. A whole mouthful…And then it goes chomp chomp chomp….And the next morsel is waiting. Am in love with that kind of eating. Sort of a gesture to say how awesome the food is..
Can this recipe be used with the usual hakka doodles? Not finding these flat noodles during the lockdown
I normally eat shrimp Pad Thai but I will try this dish at home plus a bit tamarind paste in the sauce that you gave in this VDO:)
I couldn’t order your cookbook until I got my SS deposit. By then it was too late to get the e book. Is there any way I can get it now? I have the beautiful cookbook, now. I love all your shows and watch over and over. I fried the tofu just the way you said and it was so easy! Thank you for being there. I am a75 year old widow and have been vegan for over 6 months. It’s like going to school again. There is so much to learn. One the main reasons I decided to go vegan is to do my part in saving our planet. I never knew what we are doing to our beautiful world, not to mention the horrible treatment of the animals and how they suffer! I was not over weight when I started, but to my astonishment, I have lost 25 pounds with out even trying!!! Keep up the great work, Lauren. It is 5:15 in the am and I am stuffing my face with a monster salad. Oatmeal, etc. later!
This video is just so intense! Im starving right now:Q_! Thanks for share!
Omg so annoying when people think eggs are a vegetable. It’s called OVO-vegetarian if it contains eggs when are people gonna learn?
Thank you for your video but excuse me, Pad Thai Original have no Garlic and add Sweet Pickled Radish (small diced cut □) but if you love to add a garlic because of you want to eat I think it’s not a big problem. But I’m glad you love Thai food.
I made this and it was delicious. Honestly one of my favorite dishes now
I’m making a dietary change for the better so I wanted to find spicy food to make me happy. I found this and decided to copy and add it to my growing list of recipes.
A really beautiful production. Very inspiring. Thank you
I love that you teach the Thai name of the dishes. My local Thai restaurant is impressed how i pronounce my dishes. Haha
A wonderful recipe to learn, in which I can now able to surprise and share with my lady. Whom is a vegan.
Thanks for this video! You inspired me to start my own channel. I also made a vegan Thai sweet and sour chili sauce on my channel. Let me know what you think!
I love the idea of using tamarind water. will try your recipe soon. Thank you!
Thank you for making these videos. There’s only one other channel that helps me with my anxiety like this. I feel like I’m watching a movie but I don’t have to worry about “what if I can’t stay focused” because these videos aren’t too long. My anxiety is paralyzing… like the depression. I don’t have good coping mechanism for either of them… and generally I feel terrible. Like all the time. Nothing really helps. So thank you again for your content and sharing this.
Beautiful. The thin green stalky vegetable/herb that isn’t mentioned is what?
It seems like you are using aluminium wok to cook which is extremely harmful for health. Aluminum utensils are famous due to its light weight properties but it’s cancerous and should be avoided. I enjoy your videos thankyou so much for peaceful cooking.
Brilliant! I love this recipe! But not being a vegan, I would add chicken stock to enrich the taste.
I will try your Pad thai recipe:-) because it’s much more healthier than in restaurant.. thanks for the recipe.
I was born and raised in Thailand and love Thai food! I love you explanations!
Could be 1 minute long. Watching chopping is boring, sorry. We get the point!
HELLO LOVELY VIEWERS! Important Note:
If you have questions about this recipe, you can post it here for the community to answer. But if you want to ask me, please get in touch via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or my website (all links are in the description above). If you leave questions in the comments I may not see them due to the large volume of comments I receive across the hundreds of videos on this channel.
Also, before sending on any questions be sure to read the written recipe on the website as I often add extra tips and notes not covered in the video.
Thank you for watching!
Do you think this would be okay to meal prep, freeze and microwave as needed? Looks delish
Tamarind is a sour taste not sweet taste…the sweet taste comes from the palm sugar:/
Do we boil the rice Noodles? But the packet says soak them in water for 10 minutes and use them.
I am a home science student and got the task to prepare veg pad thai which was quite difficult but after watching this i think i am gonna impress everyone:)
geez, girl, I’m watching your pad thai @ 2am from downtown To. On make me hungry can’t wait to go buy those and trying to make cup Kun ca P
What a beautifully produced video.
Easy reipe to follow; excellent camera work; audio; and musical accompinament.
This is the standard that all cooking videos should strive to reach.
Super quick and super easy and very satisfing-great recipe Sarah!
Eggs are not sustainable. Male chicks are ground up at birth. Tofu has protein. Why the eggs? Not necessary! Be the change you want to see in the world and go vegan. Vegetarians are vegans in training bras. No such thing as vegetarian it’s like sort of being pregnant. You are or you are not. You are ethical, sustainable or you are not!
Looks delicious!! Came over from star’s channel, I also have a cooking channel, you now have a new friend
Hi
Archana, Looking forward you preparing this. Plz could you enumerate all the veggies that you used
I love your recipes! Can arrowroot be substituted for the cornstarch? If yes, how?
ああ、つまりはタイ風焼きビーフンですな?
香味野菜がたっぷりだから、小さい子にはあまり向かない味ですかね。
個人的にはメチャ食べたいけど。
Loved it. I like your recipe but more than that I love your smile. Keep it up!
half of the comments are just people moaning n complaining. she’s a great cook don’t like it don’t watch,
And? Your point is? The definition of vegetarian is “not eating animal flesh”. Unfertilized eggs aren’t animal flesh and are, therefore, vegetarian. So is milk which is alos not a vegetable. Its also very debatable if the word vegetarian has anything to do with vegetables, while this seems to be the obvious interpretation, the 1847 founded Vegetarian society says it comes from “vegetus” which means lively.
I bought some whole fermented soybeans, didnt know I could sub miso, Can I just mash them up?
Instead of the siracha sauce, is it possible for me to replace with red chili paste from the soaked dried chili?
since when is pad thai have omlette style eggs? and this isnt authentic. no boil just sit in warm water. help her
You have a cute voice.:) and this looks so delicious. Gonna try it.
I gave you one hint incase of you want something authentic. The pink color of noodle actually come from chilli flakes.
1. she just said it is not the most autjentic
2. some vegetarians can consume eggs depending which type you are, while vegan dont consume ANY animal product including sairy eggs and stuff
please please try a recipe for soup dumplings! they are usually made with a broth that “solidifies” with pork, ham and chicken fat, and as gelatin is not vegan, I can’t figure out how to make solid cubes of broth that will melt in the dumplings:)
This is very interesting and looks very easy too. Looking forward to trying it. Your way of explaining is also very appealing and easy to follow including those special tricks. I have two questions though: Can you use lime juice instead of tamarid? And normal sugar for brown sugar?
those knife skills are scary. I’m surprised you didn’t lose a finger chopping that garlic lol.
I love the idea of using tamarind water. will try your recipe soon. Thank you!
I made this dish and it was good. I mean, It wasn’t AMAZING but it was good.
how in the world is this Pad Thai! You forgot tamarind, and bean sprouts, and you use carrots, and no fish sauce!!!!
Thank you very much for the recipe, It looks really good. This is the firs time I watch any of your videos and I just fell in love of your smile ^_^
thank you so much for making vegan pad thai. Can you make more vegan Thai food, please? Everyone loves Thai food ^^
right…..you shouldnt call this pad thai…just a noodle dish
I’m sure celery tastes good in the dish but it has no business being there, never seen a thai person make phad thai with celery
This looks so delicious and healthy, i’m following a low fat food regimen and this dish looks awesome, would love to try it, but i was wondering if i could substitute those noodles with a multigrain noodle or pad thai kind of noodle instead of white.
If one where to use miso paste, would you recommend dark or light miso paste? The dark miso is saltier.
Hi can I use brown sugar instead of palm? Oh can you please do
more vegan recipes?! I love Thai food but I’m always looking for vegan version. Thanx
This is FAR superior to anything I have ever ordered in. Thankful that I now have a fantastic substitute for fish sauce. I love how you mention ways to personalize the dish. I adore crushed peanuts on the finished product. Warm greetings from TOronto!
Love your style of videos. Very easy to understand and follow and no annoying loud music. Very informative! Thank you!! Subscribed.
Going to try this. My daughter’s allergic to peanuts. At least I can control what goes in! thanks!
If peta cries fool on this Vegetarian dish then I give up on you peta for a while.

…and vegetarian protein? Just picked those eggs off the tree huh?
Okay but should i soak the noodles in warm water or cold water?
Now I will be able to pass these recipes on to my children and grandchildren!
that’s a very weird way to cook Pad Thai, trust me, I’m Thai:) But as long as you like it, why bother:)
Added cilantro leaves and some nems sauce before serving to “umamize” the dish a little further, yum, delicious, I can’t get enough rice noodles!
Yes! I love your recipes but I’m vegan so I normally just have to omit things…Thank you for making vegan versions of your amazing food! I am living in Thailand and I love cooking Thai food!:D
I have been looking for a vegetarian thai recipe for a long time now and I just happened to come across this one which does not use fish sauce!! wolla! I am definitely gonna give this a try (seems very healthy too).. Thanks so much for posting this!
Thanku so much I like and love this recipe so much thanku so much
I think this is the first video I’ve seen Pailin not use fish sauce!!
This turned out soooooo good. Didn’t have tofu, so I used mixed veggies but damn! Also, I used pasta instead of noodles. Yum! Thanks so much!
If I didn’t have like an hour to soak my dried noodles, would it be alright to soak it for about 15-20 mins?
The title says vegan and you put in oyster sauce. Can you tell me where I can find the oyster plant?
I remade this dish and substitute the tofu for oyster mushrooms, and I must say, it was so delicious. It was quick easy and fulfilling. Seasoned well too! Although I didn’t use tamarind paste for seasoning I used vegetable bouillon and soy sauce together did not need any extra salt or seasoning it was grrrrrreat
Great, Carey! Thanks!
Suggestion: Julienne the tofu before adding it.
First time watcher and new subscriber of your channel! I think you should try out for food network star. You would do great!
Thanks, I’ll share this to my friend who’s has lactose and gluten intolerance
She always says that its her disease, she’s ill but i reply her that it is just, u need a different food that’s it, life will be ok, everything will be fine again, don’t be sad
I want to add mushrooms, what would you guys suggest to add?
love this recipe will make it for lunch many thanks Sharah for all your so yummy dishes
Vegan Pad thai with palm sugar…..what a shame….pretending to be vegan and participating to deforestation…..
i just love the way you ate pauline. It looks so inviting that makes me wanna try the recipe right away…just looking at you eating your dish i can tell its really soooo delicious…
This’s a your fried noodle. It isn’t Pat Thai of Thai cuisine but ✌️✌️
Tell me if I‘m wrong but isn’t tamarind paste very sour rather than sweet?
I learned to cook this at May Kaidee in Chiang Mai but your recipe makes it look so easy! I don’t recall using palm sugar. Is that common in Thailand?
Ingredients
4 oz rice noodles, 2 mm wide
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
¾ cup pressed tofu, cut into small pieces
1 cup fresh shiitake mushrooms, stems removed, thinly sliced
3 Tbsp palm sugar, chopped, packed
1 head shallot, small, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
¾ cup garlic chives, cut into 2-inch pieces
1 cup bean sprouts
¼ cup roasted peanuts, chopped (optional)
Note: If you eat eggs, you can add 2 eggs to this recipe.
Sauce
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 ½ Tbspfermented soybean paste or “tao jiew” or substitute 1 Tbsp Korean doenjang or Japanese miso (what is tao jiew)
2 ½ – 3 Tbsp tamarind concentrate (what is tamarind concentrate?)
½ – 1 tsp chili flakes, or to taste
3 Tbsp water
Just an FYI if you make this, it will taste great but don’t expect it to taste like pad Thai. It will taste like Chinese food. Just a heads up for those who might have never tried pad thai and might think this is a way to try it.
Everytime I hear the greeting I just feel doing the bow with wording savadee krap since I was in Thailand in November.
Food lloks so amazing and I just love vegan thai food(since I am vegan:) )
STOP TALKING SO MUCH AND COOK!!!! YOUR WASTING TO MUCH TIME!! THE GUEST’S ARE HUNGRY WAITING IN YOUR LIVING ROOM THEY WANT FOOD TO EAT!!!
Thank you for a vegetarian dish! Love the peanuts in padthai
Please like, share and subscribe our channel
Also, leave your comments below to let us how you liked our recipe!
OMG…how beautiful and nutritious Lauren…lovely recipe thank you!!!
Tried it today, all the ingredients and order as mentioned, but didnt come out well
Way too much oil! you just put nearly 1000kcal of oil in there! Oil is poison! Yuk
Can you also use Korean Duenjang soy bean paste instead of the other fermented soy bean?
Hey thanks for the beautiful video and that soothing music. Do you not add salt and chili? I’m trying this tonight
I first left a comment about the dangers of saturated fat. (Coconut oil) But, after reviewing it I decided that this dish looks too damn good and healthy to scare anyone away from it. I’m making it tonight for the family! (Just with no Coconut oil and VERY little if any oil of any kind) Can’t wait for dinner!!
Hi, is thiai fermented soy bean paste diff from chinese fermente soy bean paste cubes?
Thai food never has dairy and most of their food is easily vegetarian. Just leave out the meat.
Tried this recipe and it came out just perfect. Thankyou!!
This is such an incredible recipe. I have tried it twice now and both times have turned out absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for giving this gift to the vegan community! <3
I made this recipe with slight alterations and it turned out really great! Thank you so much!!!!
I want to be vegan. i get to be. But soon I’ll be more real vegan…
I tried this recipe today the sauce is perfect. I added more veggies like flat beans and bean sprout since I didn’t want bell peppers. The recipe is superb and thank you for the same.
So glad I found this video! Not to be racist but as soon as I notice she was Asian, I knew I found the right vegan pad thai recipe!:)
I love the Thai food.. Thank you for very nice recipe…you explain very beautiful…And you are also very very beautiful.. Love from India
На мой взгляд очень сухая получилась лапша.На вкус наверное так себе…
If you read the info box, you’d know that the dish is just inspired by the original Pad Thai, and you wouldn’t have been so butthurt because it’s “not authentic”. It’s not supposed to be.
Also, it is a VEGETARIAN dish, not VEGAN; so the eggs are okay. Learn your diets.
I think it looks good! I love Pad Thai, but have only ever tried the Chicken and Shrimp. Just ordered the Tofu Pad Thai from a local Chinese delivery restaurant. The rest of their food is REALLY GOOD, so I’m sure this will be, too. By the looks of this dish, I’m not really nervous to see what shows up. (No, she’s not Thai, but she’d obviously a very gifted, cook.) Pad Thai is probably a tricky dish to make the authentic stuff. I think she took a great shot at it for a “boring, white lady” like a lot of us!!:) LOL
I just made this dish for the first time and the noodles were too tough and chewy. And I actually soaked the noodles for an 1:30, I wonder if I should soaked them in hot water. Has anyone tried that?

How much tamarind paste if I’m using this instead of dates??
I am really enjoying the dish that you just prepare the vegan way of doing that I would have to travel over 100 miles just to get to a store that would do that I’m looking for Oriental or Thai markets in my area for the noodles the only thing that I found that was available was a paleo friendly noodle they are really good I’m still looking for the noodles as used in your recipe I would add in bok choy a few of the leaves cut to bite size I think that would be good you can add this in or take it out and then put in some other vegetables I’m enjoying the original recipe that you feared I’m planning on going to the market and soon as I can to find the ingredients
I love your video on making this version of Pad Thai. I arrived at this site by doing a search “Vegan Thai Recipes” I vacillated many years with eating vegetarian diets, but when I read Dr. T. Colin Campel’s book “The China Study” which he began in China with Dr. Chen Junshi, setting out to “prove” the necessity of the health benefits of erroneously proposing that each meal needs to have animal protein in each meal. He, Dr Jinshi and his team, over the course of the 25 year study conclude that it is just the opposite, going so far as to prove NO animal product should ever be consumed by humans, citing numerous findings showing elevated cancer risks among a myriad of other diseases found in the Western diet, and almost completely in the Asian diet. Presently, a very large percentage of Medical Doctors and Nutritionists world-wide completely agree.
Sorry to ramble, but having visited Asia, I have a life-long love of the incredible flavors never experienced before. I wish you the very best in showing your english speaking audience how great a meatless Thai meal is!
looks really good!:)
is it okey to use lemon juice instead of lime juice?
thanks!
I tried this recipe few months ago and I’ve been eating this like every other week, love this recipe! so flavorful, simple, full of protein, and don’t require any special ingredients since I always have tofu and eggs in the fridge!
If I have fish sauce, should I just replace it with the soy sauce?
This looks amazing! More vegan recipes would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Pai, can Korean fermented soybean paste be substituted for the one you are using?
Isn’t Tamarind a key ingredient that makes Pad Thai, Pad Thai?
sorry, but a vegetarian doesn’t eat anything that contains any animal fleshbut unfertilized eggs aren’t animal flesh and therefore are vegetarian. Supermarkets and restaurants do often label vegetarian and vegan products where I live and many of the products labelled with the vegetarian label contain eggs because EGGS ARE VEGETARIAN.

I substituted Hoisin sauce for the mushroom oyster sauce. Its just as good and easy to find in grocery stores.

Are eggs considered vegetarian? Not trolling, just curious.
