Thanks for the instructions, it has been years since I have done this, and trying to get back into these poses has not been easy for me. I want to learn yoga but at the moment I am using this pose to do mindfulness meditation in .
Ardha padmasan me kya left leg bhi upar kar sakte hain… Ya sirf right leg
I was doing this “baby rock” and my GF walked in and thought I was cheating on her and that I had brought a child home, well she shouted at me a lot and hit me with a few objects, now I am in intensive care with severe head wounds… So just be careful where you are doing this kind of thing as yoga and meditation can be dangerous folks.
On a side not tho, she did say the baby looked a lot like me, so it wasn’t all bad.
Is it good for my knee to start a few inches away from my hip bone? because I can’t reach it yet. or is it also possible to permanently damage my knee by not fully doing a half lotus?
Hey habitual, I’m very sorry for the late reply!!
But yes, man, if you haven’t found already, you’re ankles do indeed adapt and stretch and will slowly begin to open. I recommend using multiple pillows underneath your seat, as well between and under your ankles. Let me know if it helps!
Thanks!! A pose I’ve been working on. Your video is really helpful!
Thanks Tyler. A really good and clear explanation for beginners like myself. I’m sure with a bit of practice i will get to the Half Lotus position in the future.
