Hi Adriene, I would love to see a Foundations video of how to do chaturanga. I just can’t get the hang of it. Thank you for all of your wonderful videos!
I had no idea about yoga, accidentally met this video. Iliked, Try to do it.
Hi Adriene, would you be able to add this video to the Foundations of Yoga playlist? Thanks!
Your playlists are very helpful!
Hi adriene.
When we know that we have to inhale or exhale on yoga pose?
You’re latina! OMG I LOVE seeing a latina making something of herself… too many of our women give us a bad reputation.
IS this pose hard because my shoulders upper back are tight or my arms are short
Whos here to see what the eagle pose is cause of joe rogans podcast
hey adriene. i absolutely love your foundations of yoga series as it really helps me to understand how to get into posture properly. could you please do a video on scorpion pose as well? i’m struggling with it and you can definitely help. love. V. xx
Eagle pose is one of those challenging ones for me. Not about the balance, but for the leg twist, which some days come very easily and some days just not at all. I also find it a lot easier on my left side than my right side (I’m left-handed and wonder if that has something to do with it)? Thanks for the video!
I get the feeling for the eagle pose haha, i could do it very easlily!!
if someone does not able to curl his/ her leg behind the other leg then what to do. please suggest. thank you.
Hi Maris, I don’t have any knee injury but do feel some mild knee achiness after knee bent poses like Warrior II, so do you think this eagle pose is suitable and safe for me to practice? thanks! (BTW, love your reviews on various yoga mats and towels:)
lolool…..i always watch u as i still watching u Black and white beauty:D
yes! I love your foundations videos!! thank you so much for posting! My mom and dad started practicing yoga with your videos and they LOVE it
I love Eagle pose a lot
still watching and practicing in 2020:)
As a male, the leg part is really difficult for me to achieve (due to biological reasons). Some might think this is TMI but does anyone have a solution? This is a genuine question.
Wow
What a powerful pose it is and really useful and metaphorical for life. It really helps me to live:)
I already commented “The eagle has landed” under another video, but here I am again
Namaste
Finished 30 days of yoga yesterday! Eagle pose was really fun!
Thanks for the video, just wanted to note that there is no link at the end of the video to one of your other videos that you recommend:)
Already on my mat for this one!!! Tricky posture but sooo fun to practice!! Namaste:)
You need to correct your pose. The leg which goes up, same hand goes below. Here when u do on ur right side, ur right leg is above the left thigh, but instead of right arm below left you’ve taken left hand below right.. pls correct that.
I really enjoyed the eagle pose with you. You have such meticulous directions and your authentic style is inimitable! Thank you
Is it normal to get a cramp in my foot, the arch of my foot?
This time I didn’t push it. I stayed where it was comfy an focused on alignment an integrity as well as sensation.
I’m loving this.
I’m not sure if this has been asked or not,but what kind of mat do you use? I’m searching for a new one.
Hello, I need an help from you to download all your yoga & your all fitness videos?

Hi Adriene! Thank you so much for being such an inspiration and the best yoga teacher ever!! I was just wondering if you could do a foundations of yoga for Hanumanasana. I’m a huge fan of hamstring stretches and your yoga for hamstrings video has helped me so much, I’m slowly improving my flexibility. Anyway, a few tips would be gratefully received as are all of your fantastic words of wisdom! Thank you so much Adriene! Namaste
I enjoyed this video and found it surprisingly challenging but it helped my back pain this morning! Thanks!
I always come on you Tube after my YOGA class to refine my poses and you never disappoint me with your details and movements thank you
Finally! After watching many videos that should be called ‘how definitely NOT to do eagle’ that don’t mention alignment, and seem to assume that all people can get the arms wrapped and tuck the toe behind the calf… Thank you!
For strengthening wrists, fore-arms doc recommended Garudasana and Jathara Parivarthanasana. Do you agree?
I’m having alot of pain in my lower back an hips an groin area hard to urinate an to have bowel movement
So awesome, thank you so much!
I am a very very new teacher and used this pose as my peak pose. I only wished I had seen this video first!!! Rock on and fly high!
Ps, do you have any advice for new YT200 teachers? Would love to see some videos on teaching!
love your videos! would love some 5-10 minute ones to do when I have not much time!
Great, clear, and some details I didn’t know yet! Like pushing the hip crease back, I feel the lower back becoming more flat (tailbone forward) and the belly stronger when doing that.
I was really shaky while doing this, but I will get the hang of it sometime!
Wind beneath my wings I can fly higher than an eagle I’m on day 56 of yoga, and have never felt so wonderful love your work Adriene ❤️ namaste
I was so waiting for this foudation video! I was hoping for a magic trick to get my elbow pass each other, but, I guess I have to practice more:) I really enjoy this pose anyway, it won’t be a chore. Thanks a lot.
This was good, but took way too long…too slow for beginners.
Hi Adrian! I really enjoyed your yoga for relaxation video. Could you great a new yoga for relaxation video?
Eagle pose is one of my favorite poses, i really love it. Your vídeos are amazing, i’ve tried other yoga videos but yours are definitely the best!!! Thank you so much for posting them! You send such a good vibe so comfortable for doing yoga!!!
Hi Adriene, I absolutely love your yoga videos and your spirit! I have found that sometimes yoga classes can be really rigid and I love that you incorporate your sense of humour into the practice and encourage individual expression. Can you do a yoga routine to aid in the healing of hypothyroidism? Thanks:)
Didi maine suna hai ki yeh asan bowleg mai bahoot benefit deta hai kya aisa hota hai???plz tell…
Most amazing, creative and tactfully designed for the beginners, thanks.
okay so i tried this last night and my shoulder are killing me should i let them recover before continuing yoga plus first try but i do need this so much so i can walk a little better but i was having a hard time doing it
Great video… I watched tons of other videos before I stumbled upon here. And nowhere could I find if it could be done on both the feet… thanks for clarifying my doubt. I‘d been doing it only on one side now I‘d do it both ways:)
Your videos are so amazing they have helped me concentrate and make me happy thnx so much and keep doing what you’re doing love you so much <3
Hi Adriene, I was wondering If you could put together a video of your most popular yoga foundation videos 45 minutes or so? Intermediate level..ish. I am 3 months into practice with your videos and love your style. You make it fun and you seem to understand us. Sometimes a pose(boat!) isn’t very fun and you give us the ok for it to not be perfect! It keeps us coming back to you every time. Thank you.
Really nice and clearly explained! Thank you! I guess I shall subscribe to your channel, if you do not mind! Will be very useful for my virtual yoga class teaching, to show for real how the postures must be done correctly!
Great and thank you. I wanted to see how the arms work. I wanted to add Eagle Arms into my Double Pigeon.
Great post… keep them coming. Feeling better every day. Thanks Adriene
thank you Adrian for breaking that down so yes i can enjoy the process rather than be twisted up and sideways, this one requires practice and time for me for sure:)
strectching of piriform M anr Rhomboid Mmay help LBA, Thoracic ache
Garudasana must be lower in sitted position. Therefore, I like much more this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I2q3nMKf1I&t=7s
oh Gosh, how much better my day gets when there is a lil adrienne n’ yoga in it.. thanks girl, u always make the day brighter.:)
Salut Adriene,
you might not know this one. It’s called “L’aigle noir” (the black eagle) from a french artist, Barbara ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t4LiSjm67DE). Thanks for your video and cheers from south of France!
Hi Adriene, I just finished 30 days and loved it. Helped so much with my flexibility and TMJ. Thanks for what you do!
Just found you, Adriene. Subscribed! You’re amazing. Doc suggested Jathara Parivarthanasana for me but I can’t find your video for this. Do you have a good link to one?
Hi Adriene, I have endometriosis (aka painful menstrual cramps), any of your videos you recommend I can do during my pain days for relief? Thank you!! Still doing your 30 days of yoga and I’m falling in love with the practice.
I’m so sad my arms literally cannot do that:( oh well more practice:D thanks!
This is good, particularly how to explain the leg wrap/ankle lock. She should however incorporate the breathing into it.
I’d missed that tune!
Suggested your channel to a yoga loving friend who always hates her yoga teachers… and she loves you!
Thanks Adriene! Just got on my mat for this pose.
On Day 2 of the 30 days, and looking forward them!
What a coincidence! I did Day 13Ease and Endurance yesterday which featured the Eagle Pose. Is someone trying to tell me something about vision, concentration, and focus? I know, gotta work on it. Anyways, here is an “eagle” song Fly Like An Eagle by the Steve Miller Band.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It took me so many frustrated weeks to learn this pose yet after 1 minute of watching your video, I have done it correctly.
Hey Adriene! Will you ever do public classes around the world? I’d love for you to come to Sydney, Aus:)
Love this yoga, feel so relaxed and aware of my self, thanks Adrine
Adriene is so cute! I have difficulty doing the eagle pose well, because I have really broad shoulders and they are stiff as a boot! But it was worth it to see her sing a little and it cracks me up, when she talks about “wind relieving” pose! LOL She’s a hoot! Been doing yoga with her since September, did ALL 30 days of yoga with her and I got my t-shirt today! Yay! Find What Feels Good! Love you Adriene!
Very precise information within short time span, most of your videos! Great work!
Hi! Yes, exactly. Now that we “got ’em down” we need an all encompassing go to video if you could. Also thank you so much, in 3 months you managed to completely alleviate my sciatica pain, I haven’t felt this awakened head to toe in way too long. U R Awesome!
I would love to hear more mantras to use in the poses!! I am trying to figure out how to incorporate meditation into my practice while I am still learning the poses and do the videos!! I don’t have the flexibility I really need to do all the poses well and I’d like to tell my body to do that as well as learn to properly breathe. Am I doing something incorrectly when I end up breathing hard in some of the poses or yawning like a python when attempting to deepen my breathing? Thanks oodles Much love and respect from a fellow Texan!
Hi:). Can you film a tutorial of chaturanga dandasana? Please!!!:)
Dear Adriene, an admirer of you from India, I fell in love with yoga and almost try in home whatever you teach because I feel that you provide us a complete guidance by explaining everything in details specially breathing pattern and Ujjayi, thanks.
Hello Adrienne. I apologize for the miss spelling in my last comment. I enjoyed yoga for relaxation and bedtime yoga. A similar sequence would rock!
Thank you Adriene. Always fun as usual. I do your videos in the morning and I wanted something that was low commitment for after work to unwind a little. These Foundations Of Yoga poses are perfect and I can even combine a few if I am feeling a bit more eager after just one.
A few days ago I found your channel…. I’m glad.I’m a beginer Yogui….. it´s help me a lot… because where I live in Spain I do not have the opportunity to go to yoga classes….. your new follower:).namaste
hi thanks so much for sharing all your yoga knowledge, i’m on day 26 on the 30 day challenge and I love it. I was wondering if you could do a foundations of yoga video on some kind of inverson pose like a shoulder stand or plow pose?
Great video Adriene, love the shake off and great singing too…..
You are so amazing, Adriene! I feel so much more energetic after practicing with your videos x
