I train on 4 days per week usually (at home at the moment) and this is my first carb cycle week. I am planning to do 3 medium/high carb per week on the days i do weight training or body weight exercises and 3 low carb days on days I don’t work out or do cardio only. Plus one balanced day with a little more calories.
My plan is as follows:
Monday lower body workout
Tuesday upper body + hiit cardio
Wednesday rest/going for a walk
Thursday whole body workout
Friday rest
Saturdat HIIT workout
Sunday rest and refuel

Just came across your excellent video as I was looking for information on a new way of eating that is new to me. However, as a woman nearing her 50s, I disagree with the end advice of dieting down traditionally and then start carb cycling. Most women at this stage usually cannot just “diet down” until after menopause. Personally, I am going to just start carb cycling because it will help my metabolism during the periomenopause phase I am in now. Besides, I’m not too entirely sure that most people would notice a difference in levels of crabbiness!! And if that’s the only side effect… A video for women detailing carb cycling after age 40 would be beneficial. I will see if there are any out there, but yours again, was excellent, and I thank you for the info.
Would you recommend this diet for people with insulin resistance
Started carb cycling today…I usually count calories religiously and go for 5-6 mile runs/do tons of cardio and I. Can’t. Get. Rid. Of. This. Layer of FAT! So frustrating, but I’m excited to see if this works. Thank you for the detailed info…Helped me understand it a lot more. Question though, do I do cardio/go running on high carb days? Strength? Which day should I rest?
This was great, I been tryin to find out about “how many carbs on low carb days” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of Nantray Carb Caboodle (search on google )? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my neighbour got excellent results with it.

Kinda new to weight lifting and meal prepping so I have quite a few questions lol. So you save those 9 containers for 7 days, how do you split them up over those 7 days? Also is this meal for dinner specifically, what about breakfast and maybe a lunch meal? I’m just trying to meal prep for dinner, eggs for breakfast and something for lunch idk like steak or that might be too much, it seems so complex and hard at first to get the right foods and the right amounts.

Great vid man! I just recently started eating high protein keto/low carb, with some nice results, once I backed off the fats lol but now working this in! So much great content on it! Including your stuff! And it’s so damn fun haha. But keeps you motivated and so tuned in when you’re doing low carb days. I feel like adherence to a healthy diet plan stays strong with this worked in. Loving it man
