please show us how you make the aubergine (eggplant paste)…
Akis! I have been looking for this recipe forever! Love your sexy food, and as I am a true beginner cook, thanks for keeping it simple. Do you have info on which brand of Greek olive oil to buy?
Greek Chicken for all Sal’s friends south of the border in Canada. 143 buddy
Dear Akis, I hope you take this the right way, if you read this!!! I know a young woman who has never married, covers herself outside, is Latina in the mother’s side, and Arab on the father’s side. She is gentle and shy. Her family is wealthy. Do you want to respond to this comment to know more??? She is in the USA, last time I checked! I ask God humbly to Bless you!!!!!❤️☀️⚽️☀️
little bit of salt..!! puts a fist full
little bit of fresh lemon juice.!! pours a whole cup in!!
and what is a celebrity grade paper towel?
Sal, Great one. I really like what you’ve been doing on your channel. Keep up the great work!
Chef John, I love your sing-song voice! Do you do voice overs? Wonderful recipe, great narration.
I made this today for lunch, to go in a pita. EXCELLENT! I added the zest of a lemon (along with the juice in the recipe) and substituted some of the paprika with Spanish smoked paprika. I also added sliced onions and small quartered potatoes and didn’t use the baking rack over the tray because I don’t have one. I will probably never get to visit Greece, but for 15 minutes in my tiny kitchen several thousand miles away, I could close my eyes, take a bite of this slathered with tzatziki and picture myself on a Greek beach.
As always Dimitra, thank you for bringing such excellent recipes to the internet. You are a treasure!
Just watching the video made me hungry. I am in a local cooking club in Cambridge England, and the theme this year is Greek. And I will make the Gyro and serve with vegetables and the cucumber and yogurt sauce in pitta for the main.
Sam I’m in Liverpool in the uk and new to barbecuing and I’m really enjoying your channel especially in these testing times we find ourselves in, that said I’m after some info. Can you tell me the temperature of the grill and is it direct or indirect heat also the internal temperature of the food when removed… Cheers and keep well.
I’m sorry but in my humble opinion that looks devoid of flavour! I’ll stick to my chicken tikka with plenty of spices!
Max, all you need to add is SLIM WHITMAN! I love the Mars attacks reference! Your editing is getting better and better! I absolutely enjoy your show! Sam, your awesome too…
This would be great except I don’t have room for a grill in my apartment. Boy I wish there was someone out there who could show me how to make Big Meals when I live in such a Small Place.
Super!!!! I loved it and I like your accent! It’s nice to watch you!
“There are some colours you can see only if you cook.” Wow…
Oh man, that looks good. I haven’t had souvlaki since I moved from Toronto where our favourite restaurants were in Greektown on the Danforth. Miss going there so much. There was a bakery that had the most amazing chocolate covered baklava. I will have to try making this when my BBQ becomes uncovered from the masses of snow and ice we got this winter.
BEST recipe EVERRRR!!!!!Οπως θα φέρνω τα γλυκά το φακελάκι διακριτικά στη δεξιά τσέπη!
Hello, I am a french vegetarian, and I love it… I mean I feel discusting when close to buy a sandwish… and you know what: you have a “Je ne sais quoi” I love to watch your video…. Your a handsome cooker… And by the way you wife is write… you are naturely stone man… you don’t need to smoke wead… it’s in you DNA…
Looks delicious on grilled chicken and veggies with Lamb chops
Something about the undercooked chicken and drunk attitude makes me hate this. What a mess.
I literally crave to dip French fries in there {is that common}??
Yum!! Can’t wait to try this recipe. It looks very tasty and healthy. Thanks Dimitra ❤️
Sam, get the most out of your lemon or lime. Try this => https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YBP918M/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_U_AbYZEbNTS38QG
You should never put Chicken on a wood cutting board. Only use a wood board if you can eat the food raw. Otherwise use plastic board which can be sanitized.
He sort of dances his way into describing how great the food tastes.
I’ve never seen someone so angry and rude at a spice before and I love it.
By the end of the vid, you don’t even want to know how to pronounce that awful turmeric crap
and you did a great job of insulting it
As a hater of vucky spices and seasonings, I truly appreciated and adored this video.
I added Greek yogurt to my marinade, made your tzatziki sauce and made myself a gyro. Thank you!
Check out the recipe: https://www.allrecipes.com/Recipe/232530/Chef-Johns-Tzatziki-Sauce/
Thanks but I wish you showed us detail how did you cook it at the broiler your way looks yammy
Hi Akis i am one of your follower from the Philippines and I admire your cooking session in YouTube. Goodluck and I will continue follow your delicious Greek menu style.. Filakia
I didn’t like it after I tasted it. Then I realized I left out the dill. It really was my fault.
Akis, wanted to thank you for this one. It is the BEST chicken gyro ever! I’ve made it twice this week already. Next…. the pork gyro. Keep up the amazing work. Greeting from Miami. PS any chance your food tour videos can be dubbed or subtitled one day?
This was absolutely delicious! I made it with 3 chicken breasts. The extra skewers were served with Persian rice, and home made tzatziki sauce. My kids loved it! My husband thought the yogurt sauce was sweet….I must have put too much honey. But it’s okay…I am thinking to turn the extra sauce into a marinade. Thanks Akis! Much Blessings…Happy cooking!
First time I made it it was a total disaster second time was awesome♥️
I made everything except for the lamb chops (I’m just one man). Everything is on point. Meatballs knocked my socks off. I don’t have a KitchenAid but hand-mixed the hummus and think the chunky version has a place, too. Love this channel. Well done, Sam and Max.
You can’t have traditional Greek tzatziki without olive oil…
This has to be your best food yet! I cannot wait to make this
I’d say this seems desperate and cringey but that’s sort of your thing, eh sal?
On your website it says to put the chicken in the oven for 5 minutes but you didn’t do that in the video. Is it necessary to put in the oven and if so at what temperature?
Just found you on YouTube amazing cook do you sell a cookbook?
9:06 ”one of the greatest things known to mankind! Tzatziki”
i agree
He means, tavuk sish. In other words chicken kabob in English
Your link to the grill wok is not the same wok you used in the video.
you bastards steal all our foods but still I love greek people <3 greetings from Turkey
Lol “It is five minutes” lol, it’s more like five minutes per step. Lol. All cool.
Louis? No. I am voting for Ming the Merciless, An Evil We Can Trust.

Love that I get my slice of Sal plus great recipes all in one place!
HANDS DOWN your best show! Ever! (Except the God superlatives!)
everyone here is deceived there is no such food, this is Turkish food.
I would like too see you make a Grilled BBQ Pastrami Sandwich with BBQ sauce on a French Roll.

TY sweet Dimitroula mou for the Greek Gyro bowl recipe! I’ll make this soon.
The reason you use a spoon is butchers warts. Just saying, cause they are painful.
This is Not Tzatziki sauce. You need black pepper, Dill not mint, Olive oil, White wine vinegar, not lemon juice, no paprika. But a good effort anyways.
i know 100% my food taste like your replicating it. and it GOOOOOD!
3:41 ”We want to be extremely hot” You are already extremely hot Akis, I’m lacking behind XD
If you liked this, you might also like skordalia, which is a dip made of bread, walnuts, and garlic. Very delicious.
wow.. these Chicken Yeeros are FANTASTIC! So Easy! The kids just LOVED them. thanks you so much. I have been so enjoying your work.
Underrated channel, you deserve more love Sal. Definitely a go to if you’re bored eating the same meals at home. Some great recipes!
Just made this. The sauce is sweet. Is it supposed to be sweet? I was skeptical and even added a bit less. It’s like a dessert with mustard in it
Love your show and your family! Just wanted to mention that when you put bell peppers you should soak them 1-2 minutes in hot tap water. That way though won’t break.
I have family in Greece and they pronounce the tz sound almost like a j so it sounds like ja-jee-kee
It’s really nice to watch ur videos ❤️
Love your recipes
Will surely try gyros on my channel too
Amazing dish served with your Tzatziki, Stuffed
peppers next.
If you don’t have smoke paprika, use 1TBSP Tandoori Masala, it’s a good choice.
I love Greece and cook Greek food often. I barely eat American
I am your new follower and new member of your channel. I saw your recipes all are yummy. I loved this chicken recipe.
Why did you say that is always good to use gloves when touching chicken?

Why do you have to be so good looking? I keep forgetting that I am trying to follow along with the recipe.
I like that your channel has branched out from strictly toaster oven cooking.
Looks delicious, Sal!
Sam and Max you guys are awesome!!! Your videos are educational and amusing. I laugh every time I tune in to watch. Don’t stop shooting and posting!!!! Keep your timber limber and don’t let your meat loaf .
Hi Dimitra! Absolutely love all your delicious recipes. I have a question, can the tzatziki or anything with yoghurt or feta cheese stay at room temperature for 6 hours if packed as lunch box for school?
Sam(and Max) I love watching your channel..my husband and I watch your videos every single day! I HAVE to say one thing though…we are SO anti spice lol everything you make is spicy!! Try not to forget about us spice wimps out here! LOLOL
pita bread is pretty useless for a sandwich like this. use a nice Lebanese wrap instead
Love the older videos without the woman/ingredient opening. That kind of kills it for me.
I love this channel but not the new ingredient thing.
best cooking guy ever! makes his videos not only interesting but also entertaining!!!
Hey Sam can I make this on a George Forman grill will out closing the grill, I know it might not look as good as yours does but hey that’s all I have lmfao
Hey can you please make veg souvlaki recipe..I have tried in newzealand and I loved it.. I wanna try to learn how to make please..Thank you.
I love how he’s always complaining about discovery channel being nitpicky about his cleanliness and then he just grabs the paper towel and rubs his mouth all over the roll and then stuffs it into his armpit hahahaha. Max is turning this into stand up lol. Fucking hilarious.
Straight up bomb looking food, though he’s gotta figure out those bbq hot spots haha.
Legit think Sam was baked out of his mind in this episode lol.
I thought u told us not to leave chicken marinating w lemon juice? I’m confused… ♀️ looks delicious though!
Oh my gosh……this is insane Sam….I’m soooo doing this, How to keep a Man 101 These recipes are INCREDIBLE, I’m making your panini this week!!!! Definitely buying merch the Vegan merch, those people are insane. So much flavor to Live for
Greece is my favourite holiday, love the food and Greek guy is hot.. Lol (specially my ex)
Looks do delicious and easy to prepare! Thanks for sharing. Will definitely make this recipe. I’m sure I can use this recipe for lamb, beef or pork too.
My search isn’t bringing anything up on his recipe site. Is anyone else having this issue?
Wow. Very simple and easy recipe. Will definitely try. Seems like it doesn’t take long.
Ok. I made this last night. Let it sit in the fridge overnight and served it with Greek herbed grilled lamb chops for dinner. Total winner. Super easy and ridiculously yummy. Thanks! (I was searching for recipes to make use of a giant cucumber harvest)
First of all, YOU ROCK, MAX! Sam and Louis totally ROCK also. One question, though, where’s the Metaxa or Grappa to wash all that deliciousness down?
omg looks delish. couldn’t get enough gyros when we visited Crete. gorgeous
OMG I’m new to ur channel was searching for Greek recipes… n then I saw you… you waste no time like the rest…put this in n put that in chop chop n done wow ❤️ amazing… I love ur style
I am with you on using thigh meat, it is the best part of the chicken, and less expensive than breast meat. this recipe looks delicious as usual. I have an idea for a video topic for you, do a tutorial on olive oil.it is something that not only delicious but has many health benefits. you could discuss the different brands you use, how to make sure you are getting good quality pure oil, that type of thing. I am sure there are people who watch these videos who substitute this with canola oil or whatever they have at home, they don’t want to do that, olive oil is what makes mediteranian dishes healthy.
Please makes loooots more of ur quick awesome recipes (under 5 mins)
Assistant: How much extra virgin olive oil do you need for this dish??
Akis: To answer your question, I’m Greek. YES.
Assistant:?????
Thank you Akis! I’ve spent so much time In Greece, it’s truly my happy place. Just made this and it’s turned out lovely, but I miss Greece even more:( can’t wait to return x
Do yourself a favour and reduce the turmeric to 1/3rd if what you added in the chicken. It is the strongest of all the spices and hence needed the least. Also has potential to overpower everything else
Loved Greece. Spent 4 years there, my favorite place in the world. Wonderful people.
I always get distracted by that disgusting tattoo. There was really no need to cut the sleeves off that sweater.
“sure your 401 K is gone but have you tasted this on grilled lamb?”…..omg, you are too much man, awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Akis…….. If I was going to name a 13th God of Greek what would it be? Akis-Kitchinas.
you gotta cook those over charcoal. Or it just doesn’t measure up.
Im low carb so I love this idea. I made your marinated chicken in yogurt yesterday and it was awesome. doing this today
My mother in law’s Taverna has tzatziki by the bucketful (seriously, 5 liter buckets) and you can literally put it on anything.
Our favorite while working there one summer was a coal fire toasted pita, with iceberg lettuce (sorry) and tomato, salt and pepper and tzatziki…
I can’t wait to go back to Greece one day soon!
Looks pretty tremendous. You ever cook any indian cuisine? Have a nice day.
Greece is pure love! I hope this pandemic will soon be over to visit Greece again!:)
It seems a delicious recipe but what I am afraid of the rawness of chicken.
I don’t think it would be completely cook this way.
Akis thanks for sharing a chicken Gyro recipe. It is a bit hard to find lamb here in the US, so now I can make this instead! Thanks again!
This whole meal is a dream… well it would be if it weren’t for my seething hatred of feta
When making Tzatziki add a tbs of white wine viniger… Game changer. You’re welcome.
Found you yesterday, loved how you made it look easy. Made the chicken and sauce only and it turned out great! Hubby loved it and so did I. Thanks so much!
It is very nice to watch Akis’ cool cooking, I want to immediately get up and cook this yummy myself! THANKS FOR EXCELLENT RECIPES!:D
I think this video was cut short before you got to loukoumades, kataif, boureko… and I don’t see ayran glasses anywhere either. What are we animals? Tsk tsk tsk!
Mislabeled this is a gyro ‘platter’ type dish, not a gyro. A gyro is a hand-held wrap. Those little pita triangles there aren’t big enough to make a gyro with.
hello this is Sal Governale, in this episode of whats in the pouch..
Why is it “important to wear gloves when handling chicken”? Are they radioactive chicken?
17.03 of 2/7/20 making this today looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
Now its time to read through the comments and spot the desperate woman who is focused on Akis than actual cooking.
Update= awesome the chicken is perfect you just get that hint of the brine flavors. Sort of like an after taste but in the middle of eating each chicken piece.
Very good, well done!
But as a Greek, I would say that only one thing is missing. Olive oil my friend and you are in heaven!!!
I love lamb but I have yet to find many Americans that feel the same… and it is VERY expensive…
Hey Good lookin♡♡
I’m excited to make this this weekend!!
Thanks for another fantastic video
Usally i hate chicken breast it’s so boring, i cooked this dish, now chicken breast is one of my favorite dish! I love you videos and my life is not boring anymore
Looks AWESOME! You make it look so easy too I’m going to try it!!!
Find someone who talks about you like Akis talks about extra virgin greek olive oil.
Your on camera get a new pan and grill skillet. No one wants non stick coating in there food
Hey what happened to the tomatoes and onions in the chicken skewers
Dimitra’s dishes
Thank you for this delicious recipe ♥️♥️♥️
I can’t be the only one who immediately thought of “the” joke when he started the Hummus… “What’s the difference between a chickpea and a garbanzo bean? I’ve never paid a garbanzo to pea on my face…”
What’s the difference between a chickpea and a garbanzo bean? I’ve never had a garbanzo bean on me.
This is perhaps my favorite episode y’all ever done. Simply magic!
Sam the bastich had Greek food, thank you google. I dig the doggy.
I think you may need a spray bottle to help with the flames. All this looks delicious. Opa!
❤️ so funny if you don’t like your recipe is your fault exactly
Thanks Sal, looks like a nice delicious light meal. Definitely going to be trying it out. You are the man!
I’m for sure making this one. I’ve never made Taziki before. Also, thanks for the lemon squeeze top. Can’t believe I never thought of that! ♀️
I think you forgot the tablespoon of white vinegar in your tzatziki
This is called masto khiar in Persian, so nice with some persian vodka
Turmeric, cummin and coriander. The holy trinity of North Indian cooking. Never seen in Greek cooking, but a delicious recipe. Only bettered by adding yoghurt to the marinade
You go ahead and make hummus with peanut butter and then tell us that it’s ok. I’m officially calling BS on that one.
I promise to try this soonI will be mad.
I was debating whether to brine a couple of chickens for tomorrow’s bbq but as I soon as I heard Akis say ” the best brine I know” I was all in for the brine!
But I have a question for Akis…
As I understood I should “triple” all the brine ingredients for a whole chicken but how long should I brine say two whole chickens?
Overnight is probably too long.
Thank you in advance.
Once I win the lottery, I’m going to build a new home. As part of that project, I’m going to hire Sam to design the back patio with all that amazing outdoor cooking stuff.
Thank you so much for sharing your recipes! It’s hard to find good Greek food in Texas. This recipe is awesome!
I have always wanted to try “Greek tacos”..!! Love it, thank you Akis..
I kid you not, when I went to Rhodes, I ate this meal for 5 days straight ♥️♥️
This video and recipe is incredible. Mouth watering as I watched. Sam and his videos are incredible. Thanks so much!
Oh my gosh! I don’t know what looks better the chicken or HIM!! Thanks for the recipe. Will try this weekend!
Looks great Sal. I’m excited for what you do after the Stern Show. Show in the Hallway was the best thing about Howard TV.
Made this tonight had the marinade chilling in the fridge for at least 24 hours. Extremely tasty.
I have vegetarians that don’t like fish. Can I use Tofu? Love your channel. Yahsoo Kukla
Ohhhh boyyy, that looks fantastik! Tomorrow for sure!!! Wow!
Oh yea this is perfect… that chicken looks so delicious I will definitely be trying it that way As always thanks Dimitra, you’re the best
HUGE “discussion” in my household on how the word: Gyros is pronounced. coming form Chicago i have a very different pronunciation from my husband who’s from NY…Was hoping you’d say it enough to settle the argument. even though the argument still rages, we agree that this recipe is now on the list of favorites (we prefer thighs too). thanks for the inspiration
This is now saved in my archive to try later, BUT i did make the Hummus, and I would suggest if you ever make it again, to roast red peppers on grill, slice up and put in the mix…YUM.
Tip for cucumbers: if you’re a lover of fried green tomatoes, take a cucumber and slice as you would for tomatoes, batter and fry, that’s it! I cannot tolerate cucumbers and, on a whim, tried this when I had surplus cucumbers planted by family. It tastes Exactly like a fried green tomato, no joke, take it from a cucumber dislike official member, you cannot tell the difference! Just a suggestion (yeah, I realize I’m a little behind in episodes, whatever). Peace out.
So funny the first 2 ingrediants are yogurt and garlic… sal don’t get a yeast infection! America loves your anteater.
“like the regular cucumbers that have a shit ton of seeds”
I call them long watermelons
They really do eat lamb. Some exclusively. They make a mean chicken. Ham seems to be a delicacy for some reason. Ham is thought of as French I think. Their lives revolve around olives. What is hummus doing here? that’s crazy…there food is simply spiced… simplicity
Didn’t know this thing had a name, we (in Iran) just call it what translates as Yogurt-Cucumber:)
You can add crushed walnuts and/or raisins in there as well if you like.
Sam: a little pita
Me: damn you don’t have to talk about me like that
I have been making chicken with this receipe for a while now. It comes out amazing every single time, thanks for the receipe.
Yashu! Thank a lot for sharing Greek cuisine recipes during this pandemic time and helps me lot to be practical on gyros and souvlaki..which I love most when I was in Greece..lots of love from Nepal …efcharisto
I enjoyed watching you so much in this video that ur channel is the only one to which I turned on the notifications! So glad I found you.
Looks really very close to the one I had in London, will try once things are normal.
Have you seen there’s a cooking version of the #dontrushchallenge and it is BRILL, you should do it! https://youtu.be/KVwwkuMiyoA
And also your way of presenting is very impressive and very clean just straight to the point:)
Because everybody thinks you’re a magician. That got me LOL
Looks good but substitute avocado oil for olive oil. Traveled all over Greece never used avocado oil in anything. Olive oil was delicious! Adds to flavor of lamb and other recipes.
Can u make it with plain yogurt (shoppers brought bk the wrong one )?
Maybe it’s just me but man can this guy cook up some bad ass foodThat’s what I see in Louis’s eyes as he stares into the camera!
Your making me look good with my friends let me know when you want to visit Canada. This channel is the best akis
Love the spicy sesame oil in the Hummus, something I should try. Tahini is roasted sesame seeds (ground). Don’t bother trying to make this yourself (ask me how I KNOW) you need a TON of them and roasting without burning needs super vigilance. Ohh and don’t add water to your Hummus… when you drain the Chickpeas (Fava beans?) keep some of the liquid aquafaba and use that, why dilute the taste of your Hummus with water. Apparently aquafaba can be beaten into an egg white substitute for vegans, never tried that but I do keep some back to moderate the thickness of my Hummus when I make it.
sal why you dont make the video they way you did before? this is a stupid lame way instruction video.
BOTH the tzatziki AND hummus needed MORE GARLIC, oh and BTW the “kebabs” are called SOUVLAKI WITHOUT the g peppers.
this guy is handsome and good at presenting but this recipe is terrible lol
I did it yesterday with home made pita also following your recipe and it turned out fantastic!
How is it that there aren’t millions & millions of subscribers to this channel?!
While many cooking channels wallow in BS, just to reach that, 10-minute, 41-second (“maximum income”) video length, Aki’s vids are simple, practical, concise and most of all, INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS!!!
We need to reward this channel by getting the word out, folks!? We should all go and “bombard” other channels with this channel’s info!?
I’m from Portugal Sal and I would rather have a Portuguese breakfast
I know you do things your way but you forgot to put olive oil and vinager they are both basic ingrediens for tsatsiki…..Sam you are funny love your videos….greetings from greece my friend
in turkey we do it a bit different. instead of grating the cucumber, we just slice it very thinly and mix it with unstrained yogurt and garlic. no salt, no lemon. sometimes we also add olive oil. Doesn’t matter if it’s turkish cacik or greek tzatziki, both are very delicious <3
That looks delish!! You are the best part of the Stern Show. If you weren’t on, I wouldn’t listen.
I ate one, I know I shouldn’t have but it couldn’t help it… Pfft.. thats Chef’s Privilege!
Thanks a lot Akis for sharing this recipe, u make ur recipes look easy n delicious. Last year I was in Greece n believe me i had souvlaki everyday❤️ I’ll definitely gonna try it today.
Love from Germany
I made these tonight and ooooh, they were so good. Processing the parsley and onion for the meat, and grating the garlic in the sauce made such a difference. I am very proud of my tzatziki sauce now!:-). I have a technique of my own to share if you’re interested… use (new) knee-high pantyhose to squeeze cucumber (or other veg that needs it like spinach or zuke). You can really get the liquid out, and the remaining veg comes out in a ball very cleanly and neatly.
YUMMMY! Can you tell me, can I use this marinade with beef?
What should I put instead of coriander, because I am allergic to it?? haha and it is the first ingredient of this video….
Looks delicious… this will be our dinner tonight. Thank you.
Watching this after understanding that I cannot get a refund for my Wizz Air flight… at least some honnest person cooking a greek kebab..:/
People might laugh at this, but there’s a noticeable difference in the taste of Greek olive oil compared to Italian Olive Oil or Spanish, it doesn’t taste right when you try and cook Greek food with a cheap Spanish oil I find. For anyone in the UK, Lidl sell an extra virgin from Kolymvari which is reasonable.
There’s just nothing better than an gyro or any Greek meats with tzatziki sauce. So satisfying and keto friendly!
**English cucumber, peel (optional), grate it, mix in salt, let sit about 10-15 mins, then squeeze it dry with good paper towels or cheese cloth.
**Add cucumber to yogurt
(2 cups Greek strained yogurt
**Add finely crushed garlic (to taste)
Cayenne (pinch)
Freshly squeezed lemon juice.
**Add mint leaves and/or dill or parsley.
**Add any additional black pepper, salt, cayenne to taste.
***Cover and store in refrigerator 3-4 hours or overnight for best flavor.
Looks delicious and very healthy too! Can’t wait to try it! Love you girlfriend!
Love your take on these meals that you make easy. Only critique is that you should stretch the videos out in length a little and do some commentary to let your personality shine through.
Love you Sal. 143
Greek Style Chicken Gyro Bowls-you now have my complete attention!:)
Hey Sam, I really enjoy your videos. I’m a super newbie in grilling, would you mind saying what temp are you cooking the meat and for how long? It would really be awesome. Thanks!
It says this video was uploaded 7 years ago! Why did I find it now?!? It is amazing recipe. It is tasty and easy. I could not get dill so I put just mint, still good enough:)
@@UCbRj3Tcy1Zoz3rcf83nW5kw i have to correct you on this the skewers are not called kebab its called souvlaki
THANKS YOU GOODNESS AKIS.❤️ BROWN FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS AWESOME
just having watched this vid: Winner Winner Chicken-Lunch!, This is a recipe ill be trying very, very soon. Thumbs up as always.
One of the best cooking videos ever! I love the way you talk! Keeping it so easy instead of using a weighing machine
Vinegar instead of lemon of course!
And you forgot the olive oil! ❤️
This looks absolutely amazing. I will try this very soon. You had me drooling here.
Great recipe this’ll do just fine for my work day lunches.thigh meat is the best for flavor. Great video beautiful keep it up!
Sal this is from artie lange go fuck yourself you will always be a hack packer.
No middle aged shirtless uncle near the grill
No cousins causing mayhem
No vast army of distant relatives loudly remarking how much you’ve grown
And no beer table with enough alcohol to kill an elephant
This is not a true Greek BQ
Add your special cheese sauce. The same one you gave Richard.
I forgot to comment but now I’ve seen this video again on my playlist, made this some months ago and it was reaaally good, the potatoes too!
Sal your videos get better each week. Please don’t make those gross chewing noises again, but I do enjoy the final part when you actually eat it!
You really love your Cumin…!?!
No smoked paprika in the meatballs…?
Like your style, Sam!!
:o)
Subscribed, of cours…
The best store, I have access to celebrity…. extra but great sauce
Where is our mighty comment horde?
i feel outnumbered by Greeks here Lol
the way he says chicken is so hilarious. lol
so this is how a Greek speaks English. the accent is like the voice of a 90s Looney Toons character.
Chop chop, Mr. Chicken, miksi miksi, extra virgin Greek olive oil, oregano, khinky, make it Siexy, liquid sec, Mr. Ocotupuss
Does levitating burn the calories from this meal? You should’ve had Gary take a bite. Need a celebrity choppers special with plantains and chocolate.
The funniest thing about this is that you refer to yourself as a comedian.
دخلت بسبب الاسم دهشني الى ان اكتشفت انه هذا الصوص الي اسويه من اني جوعانة
NIce video Sal! Good to see you still putting out content! Keep it up dude!
Btw, if you don’t fully understand him you can click on the [CC] at the bottom of the video window and the subtitles are in English.
Greek chicken? I thought there was a statewide ban on the sale of poultry in the state of Georgia?
when are you gonna tell us the spaghetti and richards meatballs recipe?
I know you only have so much time in the day. But I could watch so much more content from you, that isn’t food related. These videos are cute, but I’d rather watch prank calls, a daily vlog, you telling funny stories. Maybe these food videos is what you’re passionate about right now, but if you made your channel about you and big meals small places was one of your many series, instead of making it the whole channel I think you would find a lot more viewers.
Do you ship? I would love to eat anything you make. I grew up with Greek food, but we aren’t Greek. We lived near Tarpon Springs, Florida and went there for all family get togethers.
I had to make this for a class assignment, and to be honest, I wasn’t expecting it to be good. Oh, I was so wrong, this is the best chicken recipe I’ve ever made or eaten, I highly recommend trying this.
This mans voice is annoying asf but I need to know how to make this
I’ll have the Greek Chicken, hold the Tzatzik sauce, and hold the feta cheese, and hold the lettuce, and hold the tomato, and hold the chicken, and hold the pita
Good one. I’ve never cooked anything but I really want to try to do that one. My wife makes Greek chicken but honestly, I’m not crazy about how she does it, but I’m afraid to say anything. Kinda like when you’re getting a bad bj but you shut your mouth cause a bad one is better than nothing at all.
Got to say sam never spoke as much french as in this spécial greece
Do Greek men usually have guys over for gay night? I never heard of this before. But hey, whatever floats your boat I guess.
No, this is not good! I do not like your sauce, not traditional Greek sauce!!
Thank you Akis, awesome recipe. Made this for my family and they loved it, and now I have to make it again on the weekend!:)
why do i get the feeling if i went up to Greek ppl going chachiki theyd rofl in my face
Basically this is called cucumber Raita in India except we dont put garlic in raita and the consistency is a bit thin
I came here after watching Sal the Roast master to find that you actually are a real Roast Master!
Good Job Sal!
I love your videos, but you are not pronouncing “Tzatziki” properly…..Just sayin’
Did you make this before or after you shouted you foreskin up your rectum?
I’m a turtle that likes Greek food! Hahah, all kidding aside awesome recipe can’t wait to try it.
Hey Sal I love this series. I’m a single guy living in a small apartment so this stuff is great. I made your sausage and peppers and loved it. I used sausage patties instead but it still came out awesome. Just like nonna makes
I’ve never been disappointed with Sal’s recipes. The first one I tried years ago was the sausage and peppers and then the governale pizza and then so many more. Follow his directions and it turns out perfect. Thanks Sal!
What a game changer…. that chicken technique is priceless!
“Paid by the hour so took me an hour to get that yoghurt in the bowl”
Much ado about nothing I would say. Just a curd raita with garlic! Bah! And wasted all the NUTRITIENTS of the cucumber by throwing out the juice!!!?
Literally watching you and your son Antonio on an old Htv episode on YouTube right now when this popped up. Miss the old days of htv. Hope I can meet you someday man, your a legend.
