Toda una dama elegante y me encantan sus looks modernos y finos
I am 46 and just started seriously lifting. I have always been afraid of lifting heavy. This information was very helpful
What if we have bad knees and cannot even do this for 5 seconds?
Thought I’d never be able to do this, but kept practicing and after a few days, not only can I get my feet flat on the ground but can hold it for 20 sec’s yipee! Going 2 keep doing this. THANK U x
You’re a beautiful, caring lady and I love all you do xx
I can’t see these clip links. I bought a carabinier yesterday. Hey, it’s silver!
I used to use coconut oil to cleanse for the longest time, but then I realized it wasn’t great for my skin overall
I’ve switched to gentle makeup removing cloths first, then AVOCADO oil, then a light milky cleanser to ensure ALL makeup has been removed.
Also, emu oil has become a staple in my skincare routine. It’s amazing
I can squat but I can only put one foot flat on the floor only by moving that foot forward a little,if I put both feet flat I feel like I would fall backwards?(it’s the first time I’ve tried i’ll keep working on it)Today is the first time I’ve seen you,I’ve been binging on your videos for the last three hours I’m really enjoying them! You are really a great inspiration! I love watching you I feel like you have a lot of great ideas and you are sooo pretty!
I’ve been doing this for years but didn’t realise it was an excerise it creates a good stretch to all your muscles
But as you said liberating as well
In Asia a lot of them sit like this
That is one of my favorite yoga asanas! Yoga squat.
Schellea, scruffy? You look unbelievably amazing. I think you look best without any makeup at all!
I just saw this video for the first time. I’m 61, and I can’t keep my feet flat on the ground while doing this. I have to be on my toes. I wonder why I’m not able to do it. Do you think it can improve?
I just found your videos and am really enjoying them! Great fashion advice!!! I’m also excited to try your exercise videos for the arms…at 52 I’m noticing some sagging and feel like my upper body is getting weak! Gotta get STRONGER!!! THANKS SO MUCH!
This is the coolest thing! Thank you for sharing such wonderful ideas!
Good to know I am a 72 year old Western woman and can do relatively easily, heels well on the ground.
And that ‘s without practice In fact am doing it while writing this. I am not particularly slim either!
Maybe I will feel it tomorrow morning ha ha.
What super thing you’ve put together. I loved it. It was so encouraging. I’m on my way! Thank you for all you do!
Glad I found you. I am 56 and honestly felt like my “fun” life was OVER. But, your videos make me think….hey I can still look and feel good about myself. You look amazing and your delivery and way you included EVERY WOMAN is nice. Thank you.
I am Asian and in my 50’s. I do this all the time and I never realized it
This was one of the most profound videos I have watched on YouTube so far. I wish every 14-year-old girl could watch this video and develop these graceful social skills. Thank you for a wonderful take on being attractive!
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for sharing how you gained empathy. I just always thought I was too sensitive taking on the pain of others, even fictional characters in movies… and getting so affected by the way I was teased and harrassed in school… The way you explain it, I see it’s actually a coping mechanism; one which I can be grateful for ♡
The focus on inner beauty was like you, genuine and uplifting. I really like when women inspire others to be their better self. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability to make the point.
I have some social anxiety. I will forget most of what you said under stress! My idea is to try to remember 1 or 2 and add more in future as my anxiety lessons. Thanks for making the idea of walking into a crowded room less frightening
Found you on utube a couple of weeks ago and loving your exercises. I’m 62 and find I’m getting more out of your videos than those that have you jumping all over the place, which I can’t do. Already feeling the benefits. Thank you.
I love your videos. I learn a lot. I have a question. I am 61 and just within this past year I started getting creapy/crappy skin around my knees some. Will building thigh muscles help this?
Love it thank you! I’m looking forward to finding easy to do at home things to stay flexible and strong. XO
Just tried it but couldn’t do it without holding on to bed frame. I will keep at it!
First of all I thank you so much for thinking enough of me to use me in your video….. I feel honored! Secondly that was an awesome video you made and I’m excited to check out those amazing women in your video. I know that video was a lot of work and you did wonderful graphics and how you put those clips together, I’ll never know! I just know how much work I put into my video’s and I know that would be very time consuming and you have great video editing capability. Very professional!!!! If that doesn’t inspire….. I don’t know what would. You should have been in the video because of your amazing results and fitness level as well, but I know why you wouldn’t. You look beautiful and amazing and are an encouragement as well to me. I think we all encourage each other and that’s how it should be. Thanks so much my friend for your lovely, creative, and inspirational video! You made my day after a sad day yesterday regarding my cat. I have moved pass my discouraging day (I don’t linger on the negative stuff to long) and I am excited to pick up my boy (Jamine) tomorrow from the vet. I can’t wait to see him!!!!!!! Thank you Lisa xoxox Much love coming your way!!!
Have you ever been over weight or obese according to standards? I am so frustrated with YouTube because all the people in this category are primarily young girls who already have a decent metabolism, have never had kids, haven’t gone through menopause, or dealt with hormones. I am not a fan of working at AT ALL. Just think about this: Did cavemen go through workout routines? No. They just kept active and mobile. No actual routine. They also ate only foods available to them by any means…and most foods they had no access to starchy and sugary carbs. They didn’t worry about or obsess over the amount of calories they took in per day as well as the macros. In addition…they didn’t follow any recipes. We shouldn’t have to kill ourselves in the gym just to look good. Everything is in our diets. I cannot be a vegetarian or a vegan. I tried it end of story. I also don’t want to be a drone or zombie who pays other people to provide things to me that do not work for me and then my money is wasted. I am just at a loss. Truly down and out.
Hi,
I just turned 51 this year and going on my 5th year of status post liver transplant. I get angry with myself often because I’ll start exercising and stop due to work or just too sore. I would love to age gracefully:-). Any tips for a beginner?
OMG! Since my yoga studio closed down from the pandemic, I have not been doing any yoga. I found I am unable to do this squat now. I’m going to work on it every day. It will give me something to do and a goal to work towards. I didn’t realize how important it was. Thanks Schellea!
Hi Shelley I love your videos I try to watch them at least once a day with all your tips and tricks. I love your gorgeous workout outfits and I was wondering what company and where do you get them they look very attractive on you could you please advise I’m sure other viewers would like to know where you get your wonderful attractive looking workout clothes Felicia Watson Sterling Heights Michigan USA
Indians can do easily without any pain becoz they hv the habbit of using indian toilet.
Wow this is something I’m definitely going to do each day, love all your videos
Thank you so much for this. Fell about laughing on the first day. The second day ok…holding on to the table leg! Third day…yippee!! x
Not everyone can manage to get their heels down in the hindi squat due to their musculature. Yoga recommends using blocks. It’s still a great stretch.
You are so encouraging. I just found you a few days ago and have been doing your 5 minute stretching everyday. I did your 15 minute walking workout today and loved it. I feel so good and energized. I’m 44, but need something that’s gentle on my body that I can ease into. Thank you for sharing these videos!
The number of women letting their hair go grey since Covid is refreshing. Even our national news anchor has gone natural.
Thanks for ur styling tips mam. I realised after listening to u that I was hiding my body shape wearing boxy type clothes. I am an hour glass type shape.. 40 bust 33 waist n 38 hips. So I was wearing all wrong clothes n wasn’t understanding wt went wrong after wearing clothes that were not looking so good after buying. This was making me look more than my age. I am in early 40s age group. I will also keep in mind what styling tips u suggested. It would help if u suggested what kind of tops I can wear to make my bust look little lesser when wearing dresses n skirts. Please suggest some more tips so I won’t feel so conscious. Thanks.
Hi shellea thank u for all this valuable information you give in this vid. I actually thought I couldn’t sit like that but I got it right. It just needs practice everyday. Truly awesome to know all these things! Interesting to know that we store our pains in our lower area, it also explains why we have so many women having problems with their pelvis area, difficulty during menstruation. But I have to say women are truly unique exquisite beings. Love being a woman for sure!! Thanks a mill. Have an amazing day everyone.
I can get down while holding onto my bed & can stay like that but can’t get back up easily. Should I maybe not go all the way down until I can get up on my own?
I understand this so much,so difficult to get through all the negativity you have learned, I’m finally free of it..what people think of me is none of my business
OMG… U are simply AMAZING!!
I have experienced too all these situations, and you are 100% right!!
I have been using these tips at my job interviews and IT WORKS!!
WHAT A FABULOUSLY AWESOME INFORMATIVE USEFUL VIDEO. THANK YOU! LET YOUR SON KNOW WE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED HIS INPUT!!♡
So, there’s an exercise I used to always do, and sometimes still do but need to do everyday. And it really helps give us older ladies a non sagging rear end.
When you’re in the shower, or standing at the sink doing dishes….squeeze those butt muscles together as tight as you can and hold for 15-30 seconds. Then release for 10 seconds. Repeat for 5-10 min. I’ve also done this while sitting at my desk or sitting in traffic!
I’m in my late 50’s…. my thighs need work but my back side isn’t too bad for my age
I resonate and actively behave like this, but it took me a few years to get there. Im now 59.
Just a heads up on the knee bends. One of the most common injuries of seniors is a torn meniscus. Most common way you injure the meniscus is when you squat down. I squatted down to pickup something and it happened to me. I am 70, but in good shape. I have rode my indoor bike everyday to keep my legs strong for years. People should check with their doctor before doing them. The irony of it all is knee bends are part of the recovery exercises. Love you and your videos!
Love your thinking. We all need to hear this. I stay in shape with watching fabulous 50s videos. l am 60.
Excellent information best I have seen yet! Thanks so much.
This is what I do, I feel comfortable in this position in my home if I’m just relaxing…..Thanks for the additional information ❤️
What kind of clips are these? They are like MAGIC. Do you sell them on your channel/website?
After seeing this I want me a mature women no kim k’s for me anymore.. This needs to be shown to lots and I love the editing yiy did a great job… It reminds me of something on tv to inspire
I just turned 60 and I managed to do the squat but when I tried to get up I almost fell on my little dog. I’ll have to shut him in another room for his own safety next time.
Ah, a good reminder. I was doing this regularly for a while and now you’ve stoked me to get back to it. Plus, I learned a lot about it that I didn’t know. I had learned to do this via a youtube guy maybe a year or so ago, and I just call it the flat-foot squat. Good because the name reminds ya’ to keep those feet flat. There are many ppl much younger than us that can’t do this, ha. I showed a guy in his 40’s and he could squat, but couldn’t keep his feet flat. Once you get used to it, it’s very comfortable, feels good. The youtube guy pointed out that this is the way apes sit, and so this is our original way of “sitting” as well (former apes). I do it when I first get up, grab my first water of the day and do the FFSQT (my code for it, for writing on my daily health log sheet) and “sit there” like this drinking my water. I didn’t know about how this stokes old emotional stuff, so now I’m going to see what thoughts and feelings come up during this time. Really good to know. Thank you.
I’m 66, from Canada and a marathon runner. I love fashion, but don’t wear young trends like crop tops and mini skirts. I agree 100% with you Beth that there’s good style and bad style. Also good taste and bad taste. Bad taste is alive and well at all ages. That is the real issue, not age. Bravo for clarifying this for all of us!
You had material to make several videos instead of just one. It’s better for monetization if you make two videos of more than 10 minutes, I think.
Wow, Thank you Shelley, I’m loving all your tips and starting to feel great about myself. X
Just recently found you in my feed. Love your videos. I have incorporated several of your exercises including this one. Thanks, from a new viewer who turns 64 next month!
She’s great is Christiane Northrup . Definitely worth a read.
Without a doubt, the BEST Advice EVER! It’s SO True, when we Give of ourselves to Others, when we make the meek feel safe, when we befriend the Lonely or as this Kind & lovely lady stated so eloquently, when we SERVE OTHERS IN NEED, we Grow, we benefit, we prosper. And I don’t mean that in any sort of selfish or self centered way…we Prosper because we become Better more Caring people. When I became a vegan, my life changed so much and entirely for the Better because I became so AWARE (or Woke) of the immense Suffering of Animals! I became less self absorbed and completely EMPATHETIC to the Needs and horrible ways than we cause pain and suffering to animals. To have Compassion, EMPATHY, and love for Others is truly Beautiful and enriches the world and it makes us all Better, Kinder people. When we are OF SERVICE TO OTHERS than I believe we have discovered an important part of Why we were put here. Thank you Shellea
WOW! Awesome and very strong & inspiring women!!!! I’m soon 42 and wish I had all the Power:)
Missed this somehow. Great! Hope someone is as motivating for you as you are for us!!
great compilation, this should be seen by the millions of younger women who are in their 20’s and 30’s who are fat and overweight and who are making excuses everyday for their situations. big thumbs up #21!
Tengo 61 y me encantan los colores naranja, amarillo, morado y pensé, yo me siento vien así que los seguiré usando
Confusing & rambling. I’m sure you’re proficient at training people, but your communication needs professional help.
I have to say how disciplined you are with your lifestyle…Thank you for motivating me..God Bless you…

Wonderfully Explained, just found your this Video ☝️am going to try Out…was wondering if you have a Video for Perimenopause Hormonal Imbalance transition symptoms helping ExercisesThank you for this Video
Thanks to the media, women are very competitive with each other
Well explained and my PT agrees. I’m not 50 yet, but am approaching 50. I have noticed my recovery is not as good as it used to be. Particularly with my joints (stiffness, sore knees). Is this normal? I suppose the obvious answer is to get an MRI on my joints and check how much cushioning is left? And if it comes out as not much cushioning, does this have an impact on weight training (or do I have to surrender to swimming in a pool)?
I’ve enjoyed this video and I just tried mascara and eyeliner tip.practice makes perfect.lol
Well, thank you! There are all these French ladies youtubing to wear neutral, black, white and navy. What would be looked down upon in Paris….. yes, I get it, but I like my lime coloured top and yes, it stands out like a sore thumb! Thank god I don’t live in Paris
My wife is 54 and in great shape. For women 40-60 there is only here is the secret.1. Change you eating habits. Clean somewhat low carb diet year round to lose body fat. Have you cheat days but try to keep 6 out of 7 clean.2. Hit the gym with weight training. Tighten up those loose upper arms. After 40 your ass might look good in spandex jeans but kind of loose naked. Lots of body weight squats and lunges. Glutes need the work. No need for real intense cardio but make sure you do something everyday. Even a brisk 30-45 minute walk works wonders.3. Breast implants. As you see most of the older women fitness and bodybuilders on YouTube have breast implants and look great. Age + kids wrecks havoc on a woman’s natural breasts and no amount of weight training changes that. The breast implants picks up the saggy breast, the larger the breast the slimmer your gut and waist looks. It is an illusion, you see many fat women who have large breasts and it can balance out the body.4. Botox is your friend but don`t over do it. The one lady in this video has a little too much and her face looks frozen. A little here and there reduces lines but looks natural. My wife has done all of this and is in perfect shape now. Remember when you are 55 you don`t want to try and look 35, try to look the best you can at your given age. Nothing worse than a granny trying to look like a teenager.Good Luck ladies and keep working hard.
Fantastically alive women! So inspirational and remember that men can do it too! Yes move, eat the best foods you can, keep motivated from others success and build an age slowing system that works for you. It’s so doable. Bravo to all of you in the video and all the rest of us out there who are doing it too!
My mother is 87 and wears denim and classic cloths. She always wears lipstick. She has white hair that looks like platinum. I am afraid she is looking younger than I. I am 67
Time and gravity are nobody’s friend. As anyone ages, adjustments have to be made. And women’s bodies go through so much more than men’s.
Being educated about health and fitness can help anyone from childhood.
The rest is continuing to be proactive and taking charge of what you do with the ONLY body you’ll have in a lifetime.
The BEST health insurance, is an exemplary lifestyle.
Why is she slurring like she just drank a fifth of Fireball?
WOW!!!! So very inspiring! I have found that I kept saying to myself,”oh a piece of cake will be ok, I still look pretty good for my age” but then a piece of cake was a slippery slope, and down I went until I was 20 pounds overweight and no, that is not ok with me. These women are truly remarkable and know that there is no easy way BUT so worth when you look like they do! and also have the health;) Thank you for a wonderful video!
Yes! Out with those myths! Style is so personal, how can put an age on that?? Great vid. Tfs!
LOUISE HAY SUCKS! DONT READ THAT CRAP! IT IS NORMAL TO HAVE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS OR ANGRY FEELINGS AND THERE ARE WOMEN BUYING THIS CRAP THEN SPOUTING IT INCESSANTLY. YOU DONT HAVE TO FORGIVE AND YOU ARE ALLOWED TO BE ANGRY AS LONG AS YOU DONT HURT PEOPLE…AND YOU ARE ALLOWED TO FEEL ANY FRICKING THING YOU WANT. THERE ARE NO RULES. DONT BUY THESE JUNK GURU POP PSYCHOLOGY BOOKS. JUST GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO THINK AND FEEL THE WAY YOU DO. IF YOU DONT LIKE HOW YOU FEEL GO TO A SHRINK AND TALK ABOUT IT AND DO NOT PUNISH YOURSELF AT ALL. DONT READ THESE SHITTY STUPID BOOKS. OMG BLOODY UTTER CRAP.
I am guilty of giving my own experiences when someone is sharing theirs. I need to stop that.
Hi. I’ve been watching your channel for a few years now. I love it and Thank you ❤.
How bout a video of you actually blow waving your hair and produces!

If only those bullies and mean people can see you now, how beautiful you are and you shine!
These woman are so inspiring!! I follow all of them!!! Thanks for sharing their channels!!
Thanks so much! Very helpful. Tried increasing weights with lifting and squatting. Knees hurt. Wondering if I need to just stick w it and the muscles around my knee will improve OR do I back off?
Lisa this was amazing how you put it together, with some amazing woman who has been going on the Journey. And totally all of them I can see the one something, determination! Enjoy all these fabulous ladies!! Have a good day!! xoxo <3
Foundation buffing is a great tip. Reading glasses on back of phone also. But where did you get it?
My favorite tip is using Latisse. My eyelashes were almost non existent. Now the top lashes are even longer than when I was young. There is a slightly less expensive generic brand, but It made my eyelids tender. I only used every 2 days for 2 weeks. Then twice a week to maintain. It’s expensive but you don’t need to apply as much as directed. Also I use eyelash curler after mascara, not before like most do. Gives more lift.
1904 subscribe form me. Really nice video, love it sooo owesome keep up with good work. We always be there for you & give 100% support. keep in touch & lots of love ❤️
Thanks for your explanation. I’m just getting back into strength training, and this info will definitely help. Also, I just subscribed!
I watch and love several of those amazing ladies. You forgot one, though. Her name is Lisa and she lives in Aust….never mind. You SO inspire me, sweet friend. Thank you for compiling this extra dose of motivation for us. xoxo Peace! TONI
I can do the squat, but only with my heels up a bit? Any tricks to improving this?
I love this tip with just a little pin. Where can we buy it? You are very creative, kind and beautiful. Thku Shelly Gbu ❤
Most of the time, gray hair is not a young look. I think it’s hysterical that we talk about wanting to stay looking stylish and young, but let that dingy gray hair grow. VERY few of us look good that way. Try shades of blonde, streak light browb, baliage…anything for color that won’t automatically scream old.
I cant do this without holding on to something plus my knees are not at it’s best at the moment
Hi Lisa! This is an amazing video!!! You have done such a genius job to bring this all together. I loved to see all the other ladies…A joy to watch xxx
You are great I really enjoy your videos and the good easy tips and info.
Love it! Thank YOU! I subscribed to all of them except Marta. I am already subscribed to her:)
Thank you for the informative video. I was wondering what exactly the power part entails? Is it lifting a heavy weight quickly, then setting it down slowly? If you get the time to answer this, I thank you in advance.
Awesomeness! I knew I would vibe when I saw the Louise Hay book references. Thanks for the inspiration… you look amazing you beautiful soul.❤️☄️
Good To See. Hello All Music Lovers.
thanks for the beautiful style tip, you are amazing, am from india,
Women want to get in shape… Try cooking at home and quit running to restaurants to eat and feed your family…. You won’t be so eager to eat when you know you’ll actually have to do some work cooking…. It’s too easy to run to McDonald’s that’s why your ass gets fat and your belly to.
Gym workouts are the best my own music on my head phone and another device I am watching and doing the workouts loving it♥️♥️♥️
So useful.. i will watch again and make notes! I am 36 but feel all of these apply to the younger generation as well..Thanks so much!!

How the heck do you guys get your bodies like that
You guys are going to inspire a load of senior citizens
You are brilliant and beautiful! Thank you for sharing it with us.
I would love to do this, but I fall back and sit down. I have some belly (not a large one) at the front, which doesn’t allow me to pull my legs close to my body. I can do it if I hold on to something, only. Any advise?
Oh my goodness. I loved this Lisa. I am subscribed, and enjoy the videos of the first 4 people you mentioned!!! Need to check the other’s out. Along with you, I find them very inspirational!! Excellent job putting this video together!! Love you, my friend…MaryEllen

Thank you!!! You made my day today. Great tips, and I am ordering a couple of things. Best wishes to you.
I’m so happy I found your channel.. Your videos have been an inspiration to me..I have had such a difficult time I lost the love of my life in February and I have never felt so alone in my life..
You are a very lovely person. A lesson we can all truly learn from. Thank you.
I have a long ways to go. If I squat like that, I would need help getting back up.
Coincidently this is how in some places of India that they go poo poo on the beaches. but it’s true!
What a lovely, positive video for women over 50. I feel better already!
Great video, even for me approaching 70. Especially the oil cleansing and iPhone magnifying. Thanks
All great tips. I don’t know which one is my favourite. Great video.
Brava, Beth on these tips. It’s so hard to overcome the “age-appropriate” mantra we hear from others. Once an older, close male relative said to me “I saw this pathetic woman today, she was trying so hard to look younger, she was wearing a ponytail and a mini-skirt but was at least 30!” (Yes, thirty). This was a hint to me, who at the shockingly decrepit age of 39 was still wearing above-knee skirts. I’m now 60 and still do! I realized over the years that these comments were coming from this relative’s significant other, who is strangely obsessed with what I wear. Everytime we go out as a group, she comments on my clothes, jewelry, etc., and weirdly compares it to hers, “Oh, I’m so glad you’re wearing a scarf, so I can wear mine, too!” We should wear what we feel great in, regardless of age or others’ ideas of age-appropriateness. I’m not going to wear polyester trousers and long-sleeved blouses from the old-lady section as long as I live! I’ve always been a skirt/dress gal, except if the weather is really cold or if pants are required for a certain activity, like for my field work as a geologist, and if other women don’t like it, too bad.
Hi, with Mother’s Day around the corner I was wondering if anyone could suggest a really nice resistance band set for me to get my Mom. She turns 60 this year, is really active and amazing, and I want her to have some nice ones for her to workout at home. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Stay healthy, stay smart, stay safe. Cheers!
Bless you for this FANTASTIC video. xoxoxo
My tip is to use niacidimide cream for age spots on hands and face.
Thanks so much for that first zoom tip…Can;t tell you how many times I’ve been in dark restaurants and can’t see a thing!
I did a search for “older fitness models” since I’m older now and super out of shape with health issues and I need to make a change big time. I needed some hope that it’s not too late. I watched about 5 videos so far. They were all good but this one was the BEST and exactly what I was looking for to get inspired! I loved it! Thank you for the upload and contributions from all the women here too!:)
Good morning gorgeous. All of these women are so inspirational . You did an excellent job on this video. Have a great and productive weekend…Aloha …Ranlaynn
I am afraid to hurt my knees. I have a torn miniscus and had arthroscopy in both my knees. Just don’t want to put pressure on them.
great ideas, thanks..i have one you might like to share… those spray on hair colours for our gray roots, are wonderful for thinning hair patches and even bald spots, for your man…clever disguise, no need to style or part your hair to cover the scalp, just whack the spray,or powder on…cheers..ooh, also..OMG, Maybelline eyebrow GEL, (not the tattoo one, that only lasts 3 days) is a miracle..waterproof, sweatproof, etc, you only need to redo your brows once a week or so…saves me so much time..
I recently discovered your videos on Youtube. Love them. You give excellent tips for us women over 50! Keep up the good work. Love from The Netherlands.
In our culture we sit like this in the bathroom. But it is impossible for me to do because I have knee arthritis. It hurts like hell
Every day, I go out of my way to make someone feel good. It can be anything the color of nail polish, an article of clothing, pair of shoes, hair color or style… I’ve also noticed that if its someone who isn’t nice, it will soften her heart. After that, we have an instant connection everytime we see one another.
Great video! Thank you. I needed to be reminded and refocused…you did that for me.:)
Love the tips. I am going to work on incorporating some into my life!
You need tee-shirts with 3/4 lengthen sleeves, V necks and rounded bottoms.
All for not cooking, have managed this for some time now lol, thx for the tips
Hi Shelly, i am sure i am spelling your name wrong…sorry. More tips…i recently got a flawless roller for my face to remove puffiness and a set a quality tweezers. Honestly, can’t believe i went without quality tweezers my whole life. What a difference! Thank you foe the great videos!

You’re amazing….you are going to make alot of women feel soooo much better about themselves!!! Thank you!
Love your videos and watch them all. Today’s video was “right on”! I am 66 years young.
Thanks dear…i am in 50s,now I will start lifting…Good wishes
I don’t have an Iphone but I followed Luke’s directions and was able to make some changes to the hearing part. I’m always missing calls due to very poor hearing but now my phone should flash to alert me. Thank you for showing us that tip Luke. And I ordered Louise Hay’s book. These are great tips and I shared to FB. You don’t have to be over 50 to benefit from this video. So glad I found you.
I was never aware that your face was asymmetrical, Schellea! You hide it well! I love your channel since finding you last week! I’m 63, but all your tips are still relevant!
OMG….I had no idea I could use my phone as a magnifier! Thank you!
I’m 61 and never sit in that position because I heard MANY years ago that it can bring on hemorrhoids since the gravity pull is in that area.
But, that being said, I was still able to achieve and maintain the squat flatfooted for at least 3 min before the burning in my calves and shins became quite uncomfortable.
Not sure why it was relatively easy for me. ♀️
I’m definitely not in shape….that’s why I’m here searching YT for fitness after 60. LOL
Anyway, I’m happy to learn that my flexibility is doing ok.
I totally agree!
But some outfit-examples applied to your styling tips would have been helpful.
I hope to get An answer, because this is an old video. But what about being Obese and not able to do this Squats?
What a great idea! I have many dresses and tops to try this on!
This is very true. I lived on the Island of Okinawa for a year. The people there are amazing! I didn’t see anyone overweight. Lots of squating and lifting like this. They also eat lots of fish and veg.
im 11 why am i watching this, but i love 50 year old woman so..
god bless you comment section! ❤
What a great tip, ditch people who make you feel bad when you are doing well, not so many of them in the world.
Hello Shelly
Love your channel!!
I’m at a loss for clothing brands…
any suggestions??
You are beautiful inside and out! Thank you for all that you do to help others, I appreciate it!
Thank you so much for your helpful tips! I love your looks and especially your sweet voice! Love to meet you someday.
Ava from Dallas Texas
Thank you so much for all your fashion ideas. You are amazing
I loved this video Lisa. What an inspiration for all of us to not quit. I have been so tired from school lately, that I do not have much motivation to exercise when I get home. I am hoping that when spring break comes and I get some extra rest it will return. Thank you for all the hard work you did putting this together. Lots of love… Laura
You said it all, and you said it well! AMEN to all you said!!
THanks so much. I am 76 and love your vlogs. Really trying most of them. I do many of these things you mention today but there are others I am going to try. ❤️
I also use a hoop earring for the same purpose. Sometimes you loose one and what are you to do with the other? Problem solved, use it for scarves or all the things that you have posted. Love your channel. Starting to work out with your excercises.
I’m over 60 and when I went into the Eye Doctor for a routine visit he said, “welcome to the 1%.” I’m thinking “okay, that doesn’t sound good,” but it was. He said the 1% of people actually over 40 who will never ever need bifocals…yoohoo! So I’m the close up eyes for my husband and all my friends, but I will definitely tell one of them about those cute bi-focal glasses.
Where is the link for the squat & the Retin A (sorry… I don’t know how to spell)?
This video is great, mostly because of you and your attitude and positivity! You are a gift! Thank you.
I’m taking my 50 year old mom to the gym again in a long time today.
I’ve been lifting heavy for a year now. Recently, I’ve been battling with bouts of tennis elbow. Should I be backing off?
Oh Lisa…! What an absolute sweetheart you are! That’s so beautiful of you to share all these videos! So inspirstional! Love how you edited it as well! Looks so professional! Just wow!!!! ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for the denim advice. I am 74 and I wear my denim skinnies, cropped, distressed you name it all the time! I know which styles flatter me and which ones, don’t. If you are a woman “of a certain age” and you want people to respect your choices, then wear what fits, is in good condition, is not tacky and you are comfortable and confident in!
Stretching, flexibility, vibrating plate, TB12 PLIABILITY ROLLER AND SPHERE
Hello I just discovered you and I’m in love with you! You are amazing, you are my age and you really know what we need. Thanks for being here
Thank you so much Luke. I could of done with knowing this info yesterday when I had to find a serial number on my Apple Watch.what a nightmare it was
Cannot find any heavy dumbells to buy in this pandemic! No 15lb or 20 lbs weights to be had!
The main cause of calcium loss is eating products made from beings that have been killed (meat, eggs, dairy). There are other causes but this is the main one. Meat is acidic and leaches calcium from the bones. By not eating meat, dairy or eggs you will keep that calcium. Of course do the weights anyway, just in case but now there is a safety net.
A body in motion stays in motion. If you sit around complaining about how your joints hurt does nothing. You have to work those joints and muscles to keep them strong.
My sister said I look to bulked up. I don’t take supplements so I don’t know how to do heavy weights with our bulking.
I started working out in late 20’s still working out at my present age of 53
OMG! This is amazing! I am honored that you did this and included me with such inspirational women. I am teary eyed right now. This was such an emotional and motivating video Lisa…and what wonderful editing. Thank you and thank you to the wonderful women you showcased that continue to empower us all and show us we are worthy and we can do it all!
WOW Lisa!! What an amazing video! I just love it and the women you featured! Very inspiring, just the message I needed this morning. xo Cathy
These tips are so great! I am so that I have found your channel!
Oh thank you more than I can say, Lisa!!! You did a wonderful job!!! These are amazing women you showed and I feel so embarrassed that I don’t work out like they do. I’m kind of a slug! lol But I sure am grateful to you for including me. Love and thank you so very much!!!! Much love, Melissa

Love your channel Beth!!! You’re my Holy Grail go-to styler!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️THANK YOU!!!
Great ideas here—thank you so much. Your channel really inspires and informs me.
Can us older women lift our sagging booty?? Please, give me hope
Do you mean lifting to fatigue in just one set? I’m just starting weight training and and trying to get as much information as possible. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I’ve tried everything the last ten years at times I feel like giving up. This video does make me want to stick to lefting weights just cant stay motivated
Marvelous! Trying to do the same!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGk6EXTU544&t=324s
Thank you so much for this video and the awesome advice!! So helpful!
yepper once ur 50+ its all down hill unless u look like christy brinkley or valorie bertinelli your invisable.
…dont forget that anyone starting out needs to condition the muscles first for 6-8 weeks to prevent injury from lifting heavier than they can handle. Im all for weight training, i do it every day, but newbies need to be careful.
What is the best advice you would give for lower back pain (chronic) and balance?
Woman after my heart you Rock!! I’m 60yrs young soon to be 61…I do Zumba class with a 33 yr old male teacher who is a professional dancer.. I feel like it keeps me young and I love the music even if I can’t do all of the moves! Several women in my class are my age or older! ☺️ BTW I wear jeans every day always have always will!
Slow reps (fife seconds up, five seconds down) will help to save your joints in the beginnig.
Haha maybe you go from standing to a squat! I’m working on it! Love the encouragement
Prefer your “scruffy” look during workouts!!
What do you mean by Power exercise? Is that the same as HIIT?
One thing I having hard time with difference between right and left biceps. Use same weights on both arms but left keeps getting inches faster than right bicep. Have a few ideas but need to have your advice from someone who can get me on right rack. Also how many reps and what is the proper weight using between 5 & 15 pound Dumb bells. Think I should go for more reps other than weight. Any advice will help.
When an unattractive person/woman walks into a room with her shoulders back and head held high i think along the lines of…’she seems nice’ Then maybe i notice things abt her appearance, and if shes not attractive shes still not attractive. Head up and shoulders back dont make u good looking, just more personable. If whats meant by ‘ul istantly become more attractive’ is ul be more approachable and likeable, great, but. I dont like to mistake that for people rating your looks and age any different. Some may raise their rating of you because they like you, and we always find those we like more attractive, but it certainly doesnt mean its done anything for your real life appearance and looks. I think smile makes everyone look awesome, so i always think just keep smiling! Iv bn told by friends and coworkers i smoke more than anyone they know
I love your Videos, that one on abs saving neck muscles was great. You and your sweet son….thumbs way up!
hahahaha…small pink dumbbells, I’m laughing. Seriously, I love your videos. I am getting back into the weights which I love doing anyway, after a back injury (that was really hip alignment issue that I can fix myself). I have serious knee issues (subliming patella’s) both knees and cannot afford to not be able to walk. Most of my weight lifting began years ago because of my then great doctor, Dr Kerlan (Kerlan Jobe Medical Clinic in Los Angeles. Thank you again, I have subscribed and will enjoy these videos I am certain.
That’s a gorgeous tribute! Marta is so right in saying that diet starts in the head. I better start working out, they all are more in shape than I am. Truly inspiring:D
I’m a hungaryan 60 women, and I’m in love now,and efcorse I do everything looks good.Lots of my friends don’t understand me,but I don’t care.I like that chanel, because that lady still, just like me,plussz she is so lovely, and intelligent. So I like the clipp idea,I most of them used for a bagy, but not too bagy t-shirt to fixt,at the back are, just like, she was show it.And it is truly work thanks the video,I like them
I started using NerdFitness academy’s approach to getting stronger when I needed to go on a high adventure camping trip with my Boy Scouts to Northern Tier in the boundary waters area of MN in the dead of winter. I realized I was going to die if I didn’t get in shape. (Funny, but possibly true?)
I found numerous modifications for all of the exercises. I was unable to do a bodyweight squat, a plank, a push-up, a lunge because of osteoarthritis in my knees and poor strength. I’m happy to say that after six months of regular exercise 2 to 3 to 4 times a week including adding some yoga ad lib., and not worrying about weight loss but focusing on strengths, I am able to do three sets of 15 bodyweight squats, three sets of 20 lunges, incline push-ups. My goal is to be able to do a push up.
The key is discipline. I started out motivated (I did not want to be unable to get up after falling while snow shoeing in the frozen tundra) but now I am still at it.
DoctorDiva (53 yrs old)
Great job! I can still do that exercise. It all makes sense that as kids we used to naturally sit that way. or, to move about with others our age. Btw, you never look “scruffy”! It’s what is within that is more important. You just happened to have both! Have a good day.
“Age more actively.” Love it. Now in my 50s, there’s more to consider. I definitely have to change up how I’m doing my weight training. I want to learn more! Thanks for the insight!
Thank you for sharing.! I appreciate your kindness to share: )
Fantadtic tips! Really wise:-)
I could add the last tiny one: a smile. When sb does look at you in a judging way or doesn’t look very open, just smile, feel relax and start the conversation.
Please tell me about your hair. I have long silver hair all one length. I think layered may make me look younger. Can you help.
I’m 70!
Whats with the stuff all wanky around your neck….not understanding all the mess?
Wow! I love this video!! It’s obvious you put a lot of work into it. Thank you so much for making this wonderful compilation for your subbies!! Im going to walk my 4 miles today!!
such a great informative video and well explained. finally someone who lays it out simply. Now how do i watch your actual exercise videos with the HPF?
I love the fact that you are clear, concise and extremely informative. This was excellent!
I agree with you whole heartily, women over 50 should wear everything they are comfortable in.
I love and enjoy these videos and I am getting results love Penny ❤️️
My grandmother always said, “ Pretty is as pretty does.” Wise woman!
So glad I found you today!
Like you my teenaged years was a rollercoaster of confusion & emotions, as is my own teenager now.
Life skills beautiful tips for wonderful woman of every age
Omg I could not do it had to push my back against the couch to keep balance to do it. I have to buy the ball I didn’t realize how out of shape I was. Just starting to exercise again after 10 years I will keep trying. Love you for sharing
Thank you for these useful tips, will start to use some of these to start off
Can I be honest, I am in my early thirties, and I subscribe and watch these videos. They are so helpful.
Hi.. where do I find your tshirts please.. I love the be you tiful one
I’m 48 and made it all the way through!!! I feel the burn now! Whoo hoo!!!! God bless you Schellea! I still don’t know if I am spelling that right?!
Same childhood experience and self doubt because of it, and still find it very difficult to accept a compliment. Been told I was the ugly duckling that turned into a beautiful swan, but will never see it.
Do you have a video of exercises that we can do four or five times per week?
Thank you sooo much for this great video! Lovely greetings from Switzerland! ❤ Jasmina 51 years old
The second I started watching this video I couldn’t help but think how wonderful you look! Beautifully styled. You take your own advice. Subscribing
Hi, I love your videos. So inspirational. I love your t shirts only I wear v necks for I don’t like anything up to my neck. Will you be making any in a v neck style? Thanks again for sharing all your valuable knowledge with the world.
Is this young man your son? He’s very sweet! You look fabulous and I love your channel! Thanks so much!
Schellea, I’m 61 and have never been flexible, and can’t do this with my feet flat on the floor. I’ll keep practicing it. Does the ability to do this have to do with flexibility, or is it just a matter of having old bones? I have been working out along with your videos for the past 3 months and still love them. You’re beautiful inside and out. You’re magical. Thank you for keeping me motivated and exercising like crazy.
Hi I am kinda new here and enjoy the videos alot. On this I do question pulling on a neck line alot depending on the fabric stretch issue
I’ve just found some of these clips in different colours on ebay in the UK, they are called “carabinas”. I will certainly get some to have a play with.
Iam suffering sayatika,lower back pain,iam 49 years old.i can’t sit down.is this exercise doing?
DO NOT PUT YOUR PHONE IN ZOOM MODE! You might be able to use the camera as a magnifier, but don’t use the Zoom mode that makes text bigger. Otherwise I love her videos.
I put it in Zoom mode only yesterday as she suggested. It accidentally got into Zoom mode by me wiping it with a disinfectant wipe after I went to the store. Double tapping it with three fingers as the phone instructs would not take it out of Zoom mode. So I tried to turn the phone off and on to reset it. Because it was in Zoom mode there was no way to get to the keyboard to put in my passcode and it would not allow my face recognition as normal. Because I kept tapping on the phone trying to get my phone out of magnifier mode or trying to move around the screen, it was actually putting in fictitious numbers to use as my passcode, and so I got locked out of my iphone. Apple support is nonexistent due to Covid. T-Mobile chat on my laptop was able to wipe my iphone and load it from the icloud back up I did this morning.
This is better than any TED talk I’ve ever seen! I’ve heard and read about a lot of this advice. Some of it new to me. You present it in a slightly different way with great examples I haven’t seen before. The part you spoke of in the beginning, I absolutely relate to 110%. At 59, I’m still struggling with self-worth and appearance. You reminded me about the part I’ve heard before about taking the focus off ourself and instead focusing on how we can serve someone. Finally, I do notice those who seem to be with low self-worth/shy (shyness is sign of low self-worth), and I will engage with them and try and help them feel good. I always thought I was just attracted to those more like me, when it would be better to hang with those with high self-esteem who are more positive (and tend to be naturally physically beautiful). The saying to “surround yourself with positive people.” They can be intimidating for me, though, to where I feel even worse about myself! Maybe being attracted to shy, quiet people is also a case of having empathy, like you said. Thank you so much for this video!
Hi there, I don’t know why you say it’s for women in 50s… It’s applicable for all…. These are exactly what I have been looking for
I’m sure you could use a small book clip in place of the pearl clip. If you’re like me and love to save money where ever you can you can usually find them at the Dollar Tree.
Wonderfully edited, very inspiring! Thank you for the links. I’ll be 52 this year and I love listening to women who are around my age who have marvelous motivation!❤️
I LOVE IT!!!!!
BE YOU TIFUL!!!
I GOT IT!!!
THANKS I NEEDED THAT!!!!!
CLO
Thank you for your reminders… I love your authenticity & how you are not afraid to show your fabulous style, above the knee or below… xo
this video was absolutely wonderful and very inspiring!! thanks for sharing this!!
I am 52 and I was unable to put my feet flat. I can get down in the squat position..I will keep trying but its easier said than done..
Wear what I feel confident in. 63and still rocking the jeans. I feel jeans are universal and ageless
I wouldn’t want to be around those kind of people in the first place I would get away from them
I’ve got one of those clips! It was forgotten about in my jewelry box. So happy to see a useful way to use it again.
I don’t know what’s wrong with my phone but it would not zoom back out no matter what I did
SCHEALLA: H E Y “waves” YOU HAVE A TWIN OUT HERE, YOU DO.. LOOKING AT YOU IN EXERCISE GEAR MADE ME…………FEEL BEAUTIFUL….. how often have I been told to have a “fantastic body”… but never believed it and now.. since having seen you in exercise gear, I DO believe it….. today was the first day since I did your “indoor walking, etc.” 11 min video and I LOVED IT…. You Schellea have a great body/great figure, and.. now… since having looked at you and at a selfie of myself / also in exercise gear, I am pretty sure YOUR measurements and weight compared with mine if not identical are darn close to each other’s… I am a bible believing Christian and it is the LORD JESUS who led me to your “Fabulous 50’s 11 min. in door walking video” whereon I saw somebody with a body shaped identical to mine… and it put to sleep my “ugly body” obsession…. GOD BLESS YOU DEAR ONE, A WHOLE LOT AND THEN SOME….. with love, Gera:)
Thank you for your fab ideas. Where do you purchase the little clips please?
Too old at 40 to wear denim? Who says that? Are they nuts??? I am 40. I don’t feel any different than when I was 30 and I don’t look all that different I think.
Great message and I am in total agreement. My style is my style and has nothing to do with my age. You look great.
Wow! I LOVE this…I’ve been pulled towards doing this for a few mins prior to my morning meditation…it’s feels soooo good…thanks for the explanation. Thanks for your work. I just found your channel dear!
Really love your channel. Very wise words. I had a similar experience when young. I realize now it was their brokenness that spoke critical (untrue and unkind) words. I chose to see myself and decided I liked myself. From constantly being told I was ugly as a child, it’s ironic at 60 that I am frequently told I am beautiful! ✨…and people think I am around 45!
I use what I have at hand, so I used a book binder ring. Works great!
You and I can definitely be friends. This is a great video ❤️
Yes, confidence is the most important no matter what you wore
I feel that denim jacket is very practical to travel, especially because of the big pockets.
I want to build a lot of muscle and gain, not necessarily lose weight. do you have a video?
Too much repetition. Good information…just need to expand on it and show some examples of what you’re talking about.
TRABAJE MUCHOS ANOS CON GENTE ASIATICA ELLOS ASTA PARA HACER SUS NECESIDADES EN EL BANO SE SIENTAN DE ESTA FORMA, DECIAN QUE DESDE BEBES LO HACEN, SE TE OLVIDO DECIR QUE SE SUBSCRIBAN AL CANAL
Finally a woman who looks gorgeous..who doesn`t take Botox or fillers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Amen sister!Just a new follower from Norway…But I do envy one thing Your height!!!!lol..Much love from an old girl-67 Years height 1,65cm
new info disputes the first one, heavy.. all the advice/info i’ve been getting says you’re better off to do long sets of not-heavy weights. This video is showing its age, newer studies and practices have superseded this information. Knowledge & understanding of health and nutrition is always developing, and what was ‘true’ five years ago may no longer be so.
This is excellent. Thank you. I know that some women want to see examples and get right to the exercises but classroom theory is important, too. I’ve been lifting off and on since 1982 and did not know some of this.
This looks like a great exercise for ALL women but as one who is in my 50’s I appreciate learning about this and going to do it every day. It actually feels really good to me so maybe I needed it!
Hurray for you Beth! Can we please stop the nonsense of “boxing in” Seniors! Why do we let people tell us how we should look or feel? I will wear jeans forever and I love bright colors. I can’t think of Any reason why I should stop, especially not because I had another birthday! Come on! Enjoy colors, Enjoy jeans! Enjoy life whatever that looks like!

love your tips and I’ve found a new hack for blue light filters its in the settings on your pc, well it is on my windows 10 but google it and it’ll save you needing to wear the glasses
“There is no such thing as age appropriate style. There’s only good style and bad style…” So true. Thank you!
Thank you Beth ❣Much love all the way from the Fiji Islands
Always excellent advice!!! Like a big sister who knows what’s best!! Thank you Beth❤️
I’ve made rather a few videos about this. I think dressing for our body type is key. Goodness what a drab world without colour. I wear colours that suit me, lots of yellows and cobalt blue and receive compliments. There are no fashion cops out there
Indeed our true beauty is on the inside & radiates to the outside…
Wow! You are as kind and compassionate as beautiful! I’m amazed!:-) Thank you!
another great tip for us Schellea….I find this great when Im looking at something on floor,so Im not bending so much with my back..thanks again, stay well
Love your style and advice. You probably already know them, but I also follow ” this with this” on IG, Australians that have lovely clothes
Hi Sally God bless you. After my husband died i moved to another city. I started neglecting myself until i saw you on youtube. Im turning 70 jrs and was so excited when you teached us how to aply makeup for woman over 50. And how to care for our hair. I have been using your tips and started getting compliments. I also started feeling happy and starting to feel good. Thank you soo much for all your wonderfull tips. You are absolutely amazing and so beautifull.
When I was a young girl my mother told me that they were just jealous of me, I truly didn’t understand what jealousy was. I’m older and wiser and totally understand what jealousy is, I also didn’t let that very awful emotion change who I am, it’s truly about them not me. I can appreciate another woman’s beauty and not be envious, never have never will, it’s almost like I’m devoid of that emotion but I do recognize it when it’s there.
Always enjoy your videos….thanks for the encouragement. I’m 78, don’t feel the years, and enjoy, and appreciate life!! Love your style! G.
I am lean but, know that I can’t do what I used to do. Where should I start to build my heart and how much.
Do natural popular dating manual like Troplusfix Dating Secrets really work and if so, how effective are they? I have noticed numerous awesome things about this popular dating manual.
I wonder if you could do a video showing ways to use the exercise ball for weight training and stretching, for example.
Beth, always look forward to your videos. Great style tips.
Hi Beth, I love pink and purple and I am turning 60 in ten days!
Thank you, l learned something new. I will be doing this exercise daily.
I feel like I’m the opposite I think I’m the best looking person in the room but I’m sure that is working against
Me..
Thank you!!! Love your necklace can you share where you bought it? Thank you!!
I just spent last 90 minutes binge watching some of your videos. (Hadn’t gotten to this one yet… wait for it… drumroll) You came up in my YouTube feed randomly. One thing I love to do when unloading the dishwasher is to squat down to the floor in this fashion to do repetitive squats while unloading the bottom dishes. I do this barefooted because my feet can grip the floor better and stabile feet make this so much easier to maneuver. Then I watched this video… had a good laugh and thank you for the confirmation that my weird dishwasher unloading antics are spot on. New subby! (PS, love all of your skincare routine healthy lifestyle videos… you are teaching me things that are crucial for my age 47 going on 48 and hot flashing last two weeks… yay! I may have manifested you into my consciousness!). ✨ everything in Divine Timing. Love and light!✨
Loved your tips! My tip for reading glasses I forgot to take with me: install a reading glasses app on your phone. I magnifies how big you need it with a switch and even has a light. Very handy for reading menu’s in a dark candlelight lit restaurant for instance.. Readingglasses always at hand.
I love your blouse would you mind sharing where you got it? Many thanks
Popped right into an Asian squatgreat reminder! You are such a force of nature! Thanks for all the wonderful tipsI will re-watch and take notes. So happy to have found you!
Thank you for your continuous wisdom, incentive furthermore tutoring to benefit my adventure to becoming increasingly consciously attentive and thus spiritually connected.
Beth, you go to the gym 5 days a week in a pandemic? My gym just opened up last week (I live in Massachusetts) but I have not gone yet. It has limited classes (you have to make reservations for them) and you can only stay for an hour. There are so many rules, like temperature checks, hand sanitizing coming in and going out, that I just haven’t made it over there yet. I walk every day, and do home home weights, yoga and crunches for now. Even though Massachusetts Covid cases are going down and leveling off, I am still frightened.
Good morning!..turning 62, 8/14/20, I watch every episode….. they’re fantabulous!…. thank you, Beth….
People can be so critical, but then again the same critical people who judge our fashion are simply boring jealous and who live stagnant lives. Be bold, be beautiful, be you.
Hi I enjoyed this video so much! I saved it so I can watch it over and over again just so much great information. I’m seventy and trying so hard to be positive and healthy, mind and body. I admire you very much for helping women be their best self ❤️
Omg thank you so much my gorgeous girl!!! I’m so honored to be in a video with these other fabulous ladies!! And that made me misty! That was a lot of work and so special to me I can’t even tell you. Visiting the 2 I didn’t know! Love you tons my muffin chop!!!❤️
Thanks so much for this! I adore your positivity & class.
My self condemnation, believing bullies, or even negative talk in my upbringing, history of sexual & spousal abuse, plus societal expectations, has completely demolished my self esteem. Not because it has continued, but because my internal dialogue has cemented it. Thousands of times, while looking in the mirror, or passing a window, or the harsh lights of clothing store dressing rooms, my harsh assessment of myself is my worst bully. When I enter a room, my self talk prevents me from feeling confident. My shoulders slump. My gaze is floorbound. My face is impassive, or even defiant, daring people to judge me. I have been my own worst enemy! Why?!
My heart is sweet, & I have such a love for everyone else. What can I do to change this damaging self dialogue?
I love your beauty & confidence! Arriving at a point where walking into a crowded room would be exciting instead of inspiring dread, sounds absolutely heavenly. Apparently, my work has just begun.
Studies show that calcium replete postmenopausal women are able to increase bone mineral density, especially at the intertrochanter hip site with resistance training. The good news is that it doesn’t have to be a total downward spiral after 50. You just need to work at it.
Hi Beth. I like your tips and especially your lamb/mutton analogy. I don’t have grey hair ( yet, ha ha ) but I think my skin colour has changed. Some colours that used to look good don’t look so good anymore eg: mustard yellow, khaki and black. I’m a Spring so I never should have worn black anyways but now it looks atrocious on me. Also, my skin is not as nice as it used to be. Although I can still wear the clothing I have those annoying little bags under my elbows and knees. My skin kind of looks crepey. So I think fabric is a good disguise. And, some younger trends just don’t look good. High-waisted pants and crop top??
I love this because I have one of those pearl clips. There was a pearl/beaded necklace trend going on when I was about 13/14 years old. I still have my beaded necklaces and my clip that we used to connect them diff ways. Now I have a new way to use it!! Thank you!
This is absolutely wonderful Lisa! I know a couple of these beautiful ladies already and can’t wait to get to know the others.
Great job putting this together.
Hope you have a lovely weekend xox
YES! I agree and appreciate you sharing this truth. The old saying”pretty is as pretty does”. Thanks and Blessings
thank you so much!..i didnt know about any of these inspiring women..i will now go look at all of their channels..i appreciate it
Loved what you taught. You’re so nice! Be my friend, please! X
Oh Lisa!! So, so great! What a fabulous job! You could have put yourself in there as well! So beautifully inspiring! Love the women you featured. This is the truth we women need to tell ourselves. Thank you ❤ Julie
Good morning beautiful! Love all your fashion and beauty advice!
Yeaaaa, we all gained weight w our children…it’s gaining weight in menopause that’s the bear!!
the 2nd tip with Magnifiers was awesome ❤️ from Las Vegas
Where do you get the clip? Can you show an up close picture?
Great tips, thank you. Your hair always looks so pretty and polished at any length. I like the longer cut you’re sporting now!
Man, this was so what I needed today. Thanks Lisa, and put yourself on this list!!
Connecting with children and teens has never been a probable for me, but connecting with adults has always been a problem. I am an introvert by nature, I also am an empath, and sensitive. Children and teens are open and want to make connections with adults around them, but adults do not. We get our little group of friends, and only want to interact with them! I, by nature hate small talk, but I do attract people all the time, complete strangers who just want someone to listen to them and say they understand their problems. This happens everywhere I go! Strangers come and tell me their life stories. I always pray that I have been the person whom they need to at moment. I think If we are open and honest with each other, become more attractive. I loved what you said about reflecting the one you are with, because now I know why I always reflect the emotion I see if another person’s face as I listen to them. Thanks Schellea, I loved your message in the video. Women are some of the cruelest people I have been around, as we like to tear each other down, when we should be our biggest supporters, as we have our own culture that transcends race, cultures, religion, etc.
This message needs to be heard by all women.
“Style is very personal” yes, Beth could not agree more! You always look marvelous dahling
I’m so grateful for #1! Thank you for sharing. It will me immensely useful.
I don’t usually make comments on videos but this one is close to my heart. I believe everything your saying, its all about how you make the other person feel around you.
My son is 19 and in his profession working with much older people than himself. I’ve told him to let the other people talk and make small comments if he has questions. Not to just be quite…smile and make simple greetings when you meet someone for the first time. As well have a joke to tell that everyone can enjoy on hand. Laughter is always a wonderful way to have someone open up to you. People will remember you when you make them laugh and listened to them.
As well one thing I have always done, is when entering into a large room, pause at the entrance of the room before going right in. Almost like your being announced!. lol It shows you have confidence, gives you a chance to see the entire room and know were the fire exits are.. lol..
I love your videos. This video should’ve been titled how to become the most beautiful YOU in the room. Great advice, but by trying to become the most beautiful woman in the room — you’re comparing yourself against everyone else instead of just being you. Yet, your video really had nothing to do with becoming the most beautiful woman in the room. It was all about just being beautiful from the inside out.
TODAY, I’ve doubled my intellect by watching your videos. I’m 62. I love your videos. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Wow, did better than expected once I figured out the technique.
I appreciate the information you are so kindly sharing with us and I specially like the calm and clear way you communicate with us. I have visited other channels and the presenters spoke so fast that I could not assimilate anything that they were trying to say, so I lost interest. By the way, you are so good looking…❤️
I love this one and I’ve watched it a few times now. This is spoken by someone who knows how it feels to have a self image that “I am not as good as…”. I’m not sure where this feeling came from in my case. Nobody bullied me or told me I was unattractive, but from a young age, I always felt like just disappearing and trying not to be noticed. Luckily, I had a career that required me to do quite a lot of presentations and also management, so I decided that being so self-absorbed and shy was really holding me back and preventing my message from getting across. It is still hard for me to go out to places with a lot of people I don’t know. I’m single now, so I don’t have an automatic buddy to do things with. But your advice is so great. Look around the room or the event and see somebody who is alone and hovering around the edges. They well may be the most interesting person there! And if you go talk to them, suddenly neither of you are all alone at the event. I’ve made many friends this way. It takes some guts to get out the front door and actually go to events alone, but if it something of interest to you, just be brave and stop making excuses to stay home and watch the tube. Thank you Shellea for your wonderful advise.
Indian squat us good for muscles and also to relieve constipation.
Also cross your legs and and take deep breaths and meditate, ideal in this lockdown period
I love your positive messages on the shirts, especially “be you tiful.” This reminds me to design some shirts sometime. I had so much fun designing one with fabric markers years ago and also tie dying socks and painting shoes. Designing or decorating a clothing item or accessory is a great way to show our uniquely be you tiful personality.
Oh my, I’m so sorry you had to experience those bad feelings about yourself growing up. No one should be made to feel that way about themselves. That being said. You certainly have done a wonderful job of healing yourself. I’m sure it took a lot of work and self help to over come that. You are so sweet and caring and inspirational. You are beautiful INSIDE AND OUT. You are a huge inspiration to me. Your videos have become my go to when ever I need tips or information on anything from makeup to self help. Thank you Schellea for sharing.
I love following all your exercises and tips. However this one needs to come with a warning. I’ve been practicing this for months. At the same time I developed severe hip pain, but did not relate it to sitting in this squatting position. After thinking I was going to be in the market for a hip replacement i realised I’d over stretched my left hip and needed to stop this exercise. And yes i did go slowly.
We need to teach our daughters, esp teens and preteens, the very thing you are talking about.
Eleanor Roosevelt: “No one can make you feel inferior without your permission.”
Great tips, I think we can also use our smaller ear hoops to create stylish neckline. I’m gonna definitely try it. Thanks
I had a very similar experience as my father was very derogatory about my looks. It took me until I was 40 to feel good about how I looked! In fact…I’ve only come into my own in my 40s #latebloomer
Thank you..great post.
I was about to start working… but i went on pause lol ! Morning lovely lady..
How anyone could say those things to you is unbelievable you are such an attractive and beautiful woman. I am so glad I found your channel.
Hi. I stumbled across your channel and I am hooked. I binge watched your videos yesterday. I just turned 40, even though this is for 50s I can see where I am going wrong. Your so right!!! I am going to apply your tips and find my confidence again. My fave video is how to apply makeup. Xxx
You really provide so much unique and useful information in your short videos.
I’m not generally a big fan of asymmetry, but what I noticed also was a posing trick. You are at a slightly different angle, and bent at the waist, creating the natural crease that occurs making your waist look smaller and defining the bust, giving the whole dress a sleeker look.
I don’t know how to express how happy I am to have found you here and how much I appreciate you’re message, You are a beautiful person
I wish i could do this but I had both knees replaced in 2006 and my knees don’t bend much more than 90 degrees. I can do it on a ball such as the one you have. Thanks for all your wonderful videos!
I used this tip all last summer to use the clip and what a difference it made. Thanks!
I think this is one of the best videos I have ever seen! Thank you!
Power slow vs Powerful push or pull slow put down️♀️…got it…
You guys are great. Congratulations. I am over 50 trying hard, but I do not see many changes. I will keep trying. Thanks
Inspiring women! No pain, no gain. I built a gym at home, too, by getting rid of the TV and Sofa. At the beginning, many thoughts I’m going weird. Maybe! Today, they’re scared of my look. Did a half -marathon this morning!!! I run 5 to 6 times a week, use my Octane cross circuit Q47xi three times per week, do yoga twice a week, and what else? Of course, finish my strength training on my Kettler home gym. All of these at 40+. It is always a shame not to push the body to the limits. Thank goodness for the Runtastic platform where I have fellow sport friends. We motivate one another. Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks for the video! I’m 52, in pretty bad shape, but determined to improve. I have a history of starting a workout routine with great enthusiasm, overdoing it, getting way sore, and then quitting. Also, for the last 6-8 months, I’ve had a herniated disk in my lumbar spine which has made me afraid to move much because the least little thing can bring up a bad flare-up. Any suggestions? Of course I want to retain bone density as much as possible, but for now I’m just interested in finding something I can stick with!
Love your attitude, Beth! It is also important to not give up and to wear what makes you happy and gives you energy. And you are a great role model!
Your a wonderful inspirational lady ❤️ you are helping me to see beneath my beautiful x thank you
Thank you so much Schelli! Some I cannot do at 71 but I’m trying and hoping I’ll get there. You’re fabulous‼️. Thank you for the fabulous 50’s although I’m in my 70 I’m doing your sessions everyday.
Thank you for being so kind! You are truly inspirational!!! ♥️♥️♥️
I am 38 but I love your videos, this one especially. These videos are for everyone. You are so inspiring. Thank you!
You are getting great at producing and editing your videos. That’s why I love your videos.
Hi Schellea, thank you so much, your videos are an inspiration! I am 67 and usually swim 5 days a week and gym 3 days a week but needed alternatives in lockdown! Doing daily, you make it fun,
thank you
Shellea Congratulation on you new Tshirts, I loved them. Too bad I’m in Canada, would love to get one
Thanks!! btw your lipstick is the wrong shade… you need cool colours / spring
Heart-warming advice! Wow! Thank you so much for focusing on our inner beauty. “…Rather it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” (1 Peter 3:3-4)”…You are beautiful inside and out.
How much weight is good for heavy and power for a 5’1″ 128 lb over 50 women?
First time, it was so difficult to me. But I repeat and repeat and now I can feel the benefits. Can you please share with us where you buy the sportswear? Thanks!
Have had both knees replaced… so this position is impossible for me…
Yes the ladies look good, but come on they forget to mention the bundles of money they spent on work done to their faces and bodies
I’m not 50 yet but I feel like it. Good info. I worked out years ago but my body has changed a lot.
Great video Beth. Love the polka dot blouse, where did you get it?
You are so right about finding music from the year you turned 18! It truly does speak to your soul. I love your channel. Thanks for all of these great tips in one video.
This is a GREAT GREAT channel!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I will recommend this channel to my patients in their 50s claps fo you, your a GENIUS!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just found your videos and love them. I’m 54 and your subjects peaked my curiosity and I had to check you out. Today’s video is full of excellent advise. Let’s fill the world with kind and thoughtful women who are others focused. We’ve all been around rude and selfcentered individuals and, you’re correct, they end up leaving a negative memory. Very good! Love it!!
You are beautiful inside out.. such an inspiration.. Thank you so much..
I had the same experience as you as a child by my so called friends and some female family members…they were jealous and I couldn’t see it…it followed me into my adulthood…I could never accept a compliment…I do now.
You definitely are a beautiful example of what you share with us in this video. You not only are a gorgeous woman but you also care so much about others feeling good in their 50s 60s 70s… that your sharing comes from your heart ❤️ I really love watching your videos ❤️ thank you
Do you have any video or info on how to rebuild muscles from sarcopenia. I have fibromyalgia at well so my joints and body hurt easily.
So much talking! rather show us with pictures with words beneath them! a very good presentation….but so much talking alas!
would you please let me know which video has the segment about how to smile when you are just out and about and looking in mirror before you leave house? I just can’t find it and it was really good!
Hey flipping50! What if just your own body weight does wear you out before 10 reps. Like squats….at 5’11” 180 lbs 50yo, I can barely do 5 before my knees say, “No way”. Should I still try it with weights? I don’t have bad knees, just lazy ones.
I’m nearing the end of my fabulous 60’s but after listening to this great video, I just had to subscribe. Very well done!
You are amazing can we buy a DVD exercise. From you would like to buy one, god bless.❤
I think they could of been jealous of you because your very pretty
I can so relate! I have just started to accept compliments. I never fit in and believed I was not good enough or pretty enough or smart enough…not worthy. I use to think if someone gave me a compliment they had motive or wanted something or were just lying to make me feel better.
You should speak at ladies retreats. This is one of the best vids on a topic like this. You are a marvel!!!
As a 42 year old male here is what I have learned over the years.
1. Women are judgmental, not all, but many are towards everyone.
2. Men don’t judge other men. We simply don’t care, even if your football team sucks or if you drive a car that is worth $1,000.
3. As male, we get put down and judged by females at various age all the time based on our looks. Being judged by a female on our physical qualities, does take a hard toll on us males. Being judged on our physical appearance that we have no control over do to our genes, does affect us a lot. Yes, the door swings both ways. But males do not seek 6″ 2′ women to date. Aka.. we don’t judge and we do not disqualify women based on their height if they are too short.
4. Many men, seek out shorter women as long term partners do to their own insecurities. Very few men, will date women who are tall or teller them then selfs.
5. Growing up around women since age of 5, im still a dumbass. As a male, I still make mistakes in relationships.
Bravo Thank you for that lovely confirming message. You truly are a beautiful woman inside and out
Your story is my story.
The words that made me feel bad about myself were from my mother.
After years of wasting time hating myself and lots of counselling I am finally the person I wish I always was.
I am 50 and I have let go of all those negative messages and thoughts.
I am free and it is not about how I look but who I am and who I have always been.
I agree 100% with what you are saying in this video.
You are amazing
Keep spreading the message
♥️
