Something important is the type of climate you live in. I am not Muslim but did fast as a sign of respect with people I lived with and the fast made me extremely Ill, I had to be very moderate with my physical activity and also had to break the fast slowly, your stomach can’t handle heavy eating and or fast eating after long fasts.

I have been trying One meal a day diet plan with small 10 minutes exercises (except Sunday). Barely 1 spoon of sugar intake per day.
My weight decreased from 85 to 80 kilos in two weeks or less.
Now its 5 weeks im still around 79 kilos.
Why?
If you can control what you eat, don’t do fasting. You don’t lose weight any faster by fasting. There is also a starvation effect on your body where your metabolism slows and you lose less weight because you’re not eating. Eat small meals. I do suggest 16/8 or even 18/6 IF just because you shouldn’t eat several hours before sleep. In the end it’s all about food, not when you eat. Eat healthy foods and keep your calories in check and you won’t have to do long stretches of food deprecation. I did OMAD for 6 months and had blood sugar problems. AGAIN, fasting isn’t some miracle method that makes losing weight easier or faster. And it’s definitely not healthier than eating several small meals every day.

I have a problem with IF. I applied 8 hours window for food intake daily. It worked perfectly for my weight. However I noticed I have lower blood pressure 100/70 and hands/feet cold pretty often. I’ve been doing it for about 3 weeks now and I can’t believe how easy it actually is. I walk 5 miles during fast period in morning then I eat a small lunch usually fruit. Then wait till 7pm for my evening meal and usually eat healthily for that meal. So it’s basically 16:8. I have not weighed myself but the weight is falling off. Clothes now fit better as well.
