It also improves.
We can also change the shape of the pose slightly by repositioning the arms or legs to alter the entire effect of the pose, or to target a specific body area. Some poses (like Warrior 1, for example) have 10-15 different versions without any additional props, and each version works a different part of the body. Some of the yoga poses that help shed extra pounds are: Cobbler pose, Downward dog pose, Fish pose, Boat pose, Cobra pose, Low plank pose.

Additionally, it can be hard to find the time to do them. That’s why I’ve found these seven exercises that target every single part of your body and only take 10 minutes a day! 1. Plank.Lower your chest towards the ground while simultaneously keeping your elbows bent at a 90-degree angle. Squeeze them against the side of your body.
Keep both your upper and lower body straight and use your abs to support your posture. Lower your body to the ground. Repeat at least three times. 3.Our Yoga Poses for Beginners Poster also has the poses organized by muscle groups so that you can work on different parts of the body on different days.

This is definitely not for beginners. I could barely do these moves. Not for me
Dear Katrina, I just completed this for the first time. I’m so stiff and inflexible. I watched clips of several channels until I chose yours. Thank you so much, Justin from The U.K
Been doing Katrina’s yoga regularly during pandemic lockdown. She is wonderful. Seen a lot of yoga videos but Katrina is the best.
I knew nothing abt Lymphatic system! Loved yoga mainly because of how it makes my old body feels! Now appreciate it even more because I’m doing more than just stretching n “toning” my old body! Its moving any “lymphatic congestion”! ❤️❤️ Did scare my yogi partners (fur babies) with the lion pose!
Hi Katrina, this was an awesome stretching for me to get back after the period break!! A gentle massaging way to soothen the aches away! Thank you!!
I didn’t think I was thaaaaat out of shape, but at 10:12 omg, I really felt that stretch, but it felt great.
On the first stretch my legs started aching, I couldn’t get them to relax, the laying down butterfly made my legs ache like heck, what am I doing wrong
Jenn, thank you so much for this stretch video. There is a product that I have been following for a long time, and many people say that even after the age of 18, this product has gained height.
“Growth Boom pro.”height system.. I’m 22, do you think this reinforcement works for me?
I am started exercise from last two weeks how can I stop permanently
This is the best stretching I have ever had. Thank you so much!
I really enjoyed this. I’m working from home, we’re on lockdown in the UK, have been for 3 weeks. This made me feel so good. Thank you
I’ve found great handbook on Unflexal page. Good solutions for everyone I think
My dog hung out with me doing this lol. I loved this soooo much I’m so sore today and these stretches are really making a difference
Who else needs this after staying in bed the duration of quarantine?
Amazing. I feel so good after a long day of working from home. I loved this session.
Difficulty level: beginners can do this! Very beginner friendly and I love how the instructor let’s us know of the modifications for advanced intermediate and beginner level and so gently reminds it’s okay whichever works for us.
Impact: very very helpful. My body has been stiff and sore and this stretched it all out and relieved the constant pain I’ve had. This is also very relaxing for you mind.
Also the whole sequence of movements is perfectly placed one after the other to stretch and then relax the parts you worked on.
100% would recommend this for relaxation! It’s perfect. One of the best relaxation yoga tutorials I’ve found so far.
Overall great experience.
Thank you for sharing!
This was very nice! It wasn’t awkward or painful! It actually felt relaxing and beneficial!
Discouraging that I didn’t know WHAT the hell was going on by that second weird bicycle exercise
I just want to thank you for being you. I am getting SO much from your sessions… for this reason, I just suggested this video in one I’m uploading on the lymph system. I really appreciate discovering your channel!
I’m so glad I found this video!! 20 minutes felt like time never existed as my body relieves all the pain through the steps you taught:)
This was great, so relaxing and I feel really loose and relaxed afterwards. The poses are held for just long enough to feel the burn and start to release. Thanks!
That’s a great video, very well done made! Will definitely watch more of yours.
Very clever to record the voice afterwards!
[also, finally a yoga instructor who does not stupidly giggles or acts like a barbie doll]
Good job, thanks a lot!
Thanks Beth, you are amazing!!!! I appreciate your magnificent, professional way to instruct your public, with extremely calmness and clearness step by step for stretching our body. Thanks for your existence!!! I am privileged to stay as your follower for good
This is hands down best video. Takes my pain away as soon as i do it
Effective balance between slow postures transition and intensity together with a step-by-step instruction
Just stopped in to check out your routine. Must say, I rather enjoyed it. I am a mechanic by day and a martial arts instructor by night. I am optimistic that this type of routine will help me with pain and mobility if I do it each day before class. Thank you again.
Thank you for your video it was an extremely easy follow along as I am a plus sized woman and I enjoyed every move easily and comfortably
I’m sorry, I didn’t appreciate this workout. I was looking for a stretch, but this has strength work baked into it.
I think I did a way too intense workout for my body I couldn’t sleep all night due to this pain
Thank you for this video. I have primary lymphedema and just started yoga. I’m a big woman, and I can notice the way the fluid moves already. Learning more about yoga and the benefits for lymphedema is a life changer. Thank you.
Thank you. Second night doing this, I can’t wait for tomorrow night to do this again.
I love this video! The inhale when going up and exhaling going down breathing technique helped so much.
Thank you for this session. I did it for the first time before bed and I saw loosening of muscle
Is it just me, but is the music making people more anxious instead of relaxed ?
Some of these are NOT for beginners or those with knee issues. Beware!
This is awesome! Need a morning routine to wake up my body and now find it. I love classic postures with new variations. Thank you very much for that! I added a side bend for my upper body now its perfect! You are lovely
Finally, someone that understands relaxing stretch. Perfect, exactly what I was looking for. Didn’t need to break a sweat and kill myself.
Hi Katrina, I enjoy your video class, please show us more, Thanks!
The wide downward-facing dog was wonderful. Thank you. I have much work to do in shoelace!
Can one do it if they have suffered from tubercular lymphadenitis??
how am i supposed to follow if I can’t see the vid from the ground
Thank You! I really need this for the kind of work I have plus I’m aging…this exactly my muscles needs it’s so gentle and the pain away…I will do this every or I gotta if I’m day off and evening before I go to bed.
Felt like 5 minutes I couldn’t believe it was over, very well done and thank you.
Gal, loved everything about this video except adjustments of hair and clothes. It was disturbing and distracting. Keep doing great work. Cheers.
Hi, thank you enjoyed the stretch. My favourite bit is how you show the movement’s and do the voice instruction separate.
Used to do yoga a lot your channel has really helped me get back into it again. The toe hug was very interesting never done that before but genuinely felt really good. Thank you for these videos!
Sarah Beth you make my body do things that I never thought possible! I have been thru many YouTube Yoga teachers until I found you! Absolutely love your videos! I appreciate them so much. It is a space without judgement that I look forward to everyday! The calm deep breathing is my favorite part! So many yoga teachers seem to fly thru different poses. But I love sitting with the pose and connecting with my body and the different sensations. Thanks again
After I started doing this 3 times a week my back injury started getting drastically better. No pain and no stiffness. I am almost ready to get back into the gym after more than 1 year pause due to a slipped disk. I subscribed and will keep doing your yoga stretches at home. THANK YOU!
Your channel has been so helpful during quarantine. Thank you so much
First time ever doing yoga. Essentially the word sensation = pain in this video
Hi Sarah, 2nd day following your yoga, so happy you made a 20 minute yoga session as I was really pushed for time. I like to get to bed on time too as I see sleep as a very important part of my life. I’m curious though, why is it you do yoga? See you on the next video x
love your physical appearance your gentle voice as well …greeting from Taiwan
I really like the exercises, but the self-promotion at the end always kills the relaxed and chill atmosphere. I’m all calm and stretched and then i get hit by some blubbering, totally destroying my chill
I love the toe hug, never experienced that in yoga before and I loved every second of it!!
Hi, I just entered my email but the free members only hip video link didn’t work. Can you help Sarah Beth? Thank you
I’m am athlete who runs a lot so my legs and I say thank you for this♀️
Hi i’ve just started doing your yoga practices and i’m loving them. Thank you so much x
Hi SaraBeth, thanks for the interesting exercises. I found the music very eery, like a Bergman movie, but the moves were nice. Thanks!
Amazing beautifully cued all over body stretch. Now a subscriber!
This practice felt soooo good after going for a morning run!
Your work out routine is my favorite. I was so relaxed that I forgot about the twenty minutes that I spent doing the stretches…
Love your yoga workout. My husband an I have been doing them for 3 weeks. He has gotten better still needs more flexibility but he is trying hard.❤️. Also love your instructions easy to understand and slow enough for beginners.
I like to do this after drinking a warm glass of milk before I’m in bed at 11 pm at the latest
Sara I did this session today n must say it’s slow n great n I was sweating.. enjoyed it
This is fantastic. I’ve done it twice a day since I discovered it 4 days ago. Thank you so very, very much for this. What a wonderful and manageable healing tool.
Such a clear step by step description…I could close my eyes and do the yoga so peacefully..thanks
My hips and legs felt right from my core and strength training and I knew I needed to stretch. This lesson was perfect, I did things I didn’t know I could even do
Hello, this is my first real yoga session in 8 months. Great routine. I am 49 y/o male looking to become more flexible and improve my circulation.
My favorite part was the sweet soft sound of your voice. So soothing to my sore muscles. Thank you!
My ankles have literally never felt so good. This is such a good video for after skateboarding!!!

Amazing stretching after an intense inner & outer thigh workout. Thank you SaraBeth!!
A good friend put me in touch with your videos, now my wife and do one almost daily.

This was such a chilled morning yoga routine, it definitely fits my Sunday morning vibes:D
Thank you this yoga change my life and health keep it up thanks you
I was sweating at the end of session. Was I doing it correct?
Very relaxing and simple! I will be doing this daily as it will help my immune system I have fibromyalgia and am healing from trauma I really found this very enjoyable
I’m having pelvic pain on my right side and now it is increasing gradually
If you could please suggest some yoga for pelvic pain
I loved this video because it helped me stretch my hips in a new way.
…..very nice I’m going to do these poses everyday thank you so much…. namaste!
Great video. I liked the narration by someone other than the person doing the movements. I also liked the toe/finger interweaving-I never ran across that before. Only suggestion-the person demonstrating wore a dark sweater and dark pants-it was difficult to see some of the leg positions from a distance, so maybe try two distinct colors or even pants with long stripes.
Great class with just the right amount of posture holding and challenge. I especially like that you got straight into the asana. Perfect for those with some yoga experience. Many thanks
I enjoy the cow-legs/foot-hug so much. So cosy and comforting.
Does anyone know how to get a mod menu for this? I don’t want to do this
Tnk you I needed this I just recently started yoga at home and I’m very lost and suffering from lymphatic issues God bless you for you help and I namaste
Sarah Beth, you are awesome. Ever since I found your channel, I’ve been trying to do a lot of daily yoga, and guess what’s the result? I’m so much more flexible and happy. When I clicked this video, the music was the absolute wonderland for me. Your voice and the music is so soothing. Please continue to upload these amazing videos. Like if you agree…
Not sure how you’re judging “Beginners”, but some of this was impossible for me. Nice video, but alternatives would’ve helped.
Great video the piano and your voice went completely together. Felt extremely stretched and hips loose, thank you!
was a great quick stretch post cardio workout. I did add in my own upper body stretches on my own though. Would do again when lower body needs some lengthening out.
Months of home office chair and I am so grateful for your videos.
Wasn’t able to do all moves completely but gives good basic start to where I got to get to
“Melting” was such a perfect term to use to help feel my body’s tension release
This hurts sooooo bad? I’m copying exactly what ur doing and all I feel is pain. I couldn’t even finish the video and it was impossible to relax with this!
I’ve missed a couple morning with you, and i feel it. I loved the toe stretch with hands, more of that please!!! <3 happy weekend
This was awesome and just what I needed after a run, thank you!
I am a big fan of your flows! The long stretches were exactly what I needed today, while intense it felt great. Thanks again for another stellar yoga video!!!
this is great, can’t wait to incorporate some of this in my classes! Namaste!
Sarah great video! I am four months into recovery from a ski accident in which I shattered the bones around my right knee. I went from full flexibility to much difficulty in child’s pose and even crossing my legs. Any suggested stretches to help regain that flexibility in my right hip and leg muscles?
hello,

Can anyone tell me, is this the total floor you need to do? Or should you do a certain amount of reps of each?
You’re beautiful. and it was a good stretch, thank you. I would like a bit more intense one, which I am sure I can find in your other videos, Thanks again.
And just like that, in 20 minutes my hips and groin are feeling the loosest they’ve felt in a while. Thanks
So relaxing. Thank you so much. This is my favorite part of my day and daily self care routine. Thank you!
Thank you for allowing silent pauses and not filling pauses with constant talking. Some instructions are constantly talking which works for some people, but it makes it difficult for me to relax and enjoy the yoga.
Lady you have to check this out

This is the first time I’ve done toe hugs before!! (I heard that correctly right?!) my right pinkie toe was NOT wanting any hugs today tho, but I swear all the other toes were saying “aaaahhhhhhhhh”.

This is a gorgeous stretch session. Well done. The tone of your voice and descriptions are perfect.:)
I’ve been doing this stretch routine after every workout during quarantine. And so far, despite intense workouts, I’ve had cero pain. I now regret many years without stretching properly.
I loved this stretch so much, it was amazing, I can’t wait to try more soon!
Really great way to spend 8 minutes always feel great afterwards. Thank you so much:-)
At first my body was like oh heck no this does not feel good. And at the end my body was like damn I feel good. Let’s do this again tomorrow.
Thank you so much for sharing this video, I shall be back:-)
this has been so very helpful and “do-able” for newly to yoga (with a very congested lymphatic system!!) Thank you!!!!!
Cant wait to give this a go, have been dealing with a lot of symptoms that I think are indicative of a blocked up lymph system so im hoping this plus eating better can help me out!
This was amazing! It was a bit challenging on my hips but it helped release/lighten my pms cramps and headache. Thank you so much! I’m going to use this video every morning for my stretching routine now. And I couldn’t believe how fast that 20 minutes went by!
Thank u this was awesome the 20 mins went by so fast it was sooooo relaxing
I feel so peaceful just watching this video) have no idea why)))
