namaste ji…..ye bhaut cute baby hai….dont translate english,.. i m saying that..that baby is so cute lol
As a yoga therapist, the forearm plank is very much a no-no pose for diastasis recti as it can make the tummy bulge due to the weakness in the abdominal sheath. I did it religiously postnatally and excerbated my diastasis.
6wks postpartum tomorrow thank you for this! I’ve been following your prenatal yoga videos. They were always my favorite and now you’ve made the perfect postpartum yoga video. Thank you. Much love and blessings to you and Vivia
omg come onnnnnn I cant do this this morning its too cute its making me cry awwwww so cute!!!!
Not everyone the same in labor I was in so much pain at 2 semesters for days pains got worst
So do you wait six weeks to do this or is this something you can work at before?
I know she didn’t just say it goes from a cheerio to a grapefruit……. that sounds terrifying!!!:-( Holy cow!!
I know all people are different but for some reason it takes me a long time to get to 4 cm then literally EVERY TIME I get to 4 cm and I deliver with in the hour! I am glad I was never sent home at 4 cm……Babies would have been born at home
How I wish I’d had this when I was a child:) What a great way to help children get a healthy sleep AND learn yoga. Love it!
Omg you have a baby she is soo cute omg i will suscribe
I’m not sure this is appropriate for women with diastasis recti.
I’m teaching a private mommy & me class and this video helped tremendously since I do not have a child! Thank you for such easy instruction now I am elated to teach this class!
Can I do this as early as 2 weeks PP or should I wait till the 6 week mark?
did this right after your baby yoga for weight loss workout and both gave me a good workout. love that this is something i can do together with baby. thank you.
That was the first time I attempted yoga with my 2 year old. We both had fun and it was really helpful for both of us. Thanks for sharing!
Watch out during crow pose! There’s a tendency to tip head first, so make sure your baby isn’t right in front of you like mine was ( he’s fine, I caught myself)
I really don’t know why I watched this because both my kids I booked myself for c section
With both of my kids it only took me 3 pushes hopefully it will with the third one on the way.
u r great..wid bby workout is juz amazing itz a vry useful video….
Fabulous Mamma and baby both looks healthy and fit…
All this goes out the window and you start screaming like an animal…
I’m not a mother but I’m about to get a ton of baby related recommendations. Worth it, your baby is precious!
your troubling cute baby..let baby sleep you can do yoga not for baby
You are an Extraordinary Mother&Goddess, Your Beautiful baby Girl Turned Out Awesome! REMINDS ME OF 2003-2004 WHEN I WAS WORKING HARD WITH MY TWIN GIRLS {ARYN&GWYN} HELPING THEM GO FROM developmentally delayed [UNABLE TO WALK OR TALK properly] TO NORMAL BY THE TIME THEY ENTERED KINDERGARTEN.
The Physical, Speech, Occupational Therapists & Early Intervention Home visitors taught us the exercises but My Girls & I put in the work 24/7. THE ENERGY WE SURROUND THEM WITH IS TANTAMOUNT! One kiss on the forehead cured all emotion ails from birth, because I envisioned surrounding them in a forcefield of love! So proud of them!
I used to mock these classes but i wish my husband had watched them my husband was so into the first 3 but by the 4th one he was playing on his phone by active labor wondering why i was making a big deal out of the pain “oh baby jesus here comes another one dude give me a break…” (me talking to myself) he’s like what do you need me to do? (Head down in phone tap tap tap) i have babies fast and pretty easy so he wasn’t that concerned. It was fine but i wish he had learned a little more. He did help the nurse move me around after the epidural that was cool good job dad i push twice and baby is out every time so he always on the cleanup aisle helping with the baby getting scrubbed down. Even those little neck massages wouldve been nice at any point in our marriage. Maybe i need to be more vocal ♀️ Shes talking about mirrors and rubbing babies head. The pushing phase for me lasts literally 5 minutes. They never asked me if i wanted to nothing. I got a baby! Yay
Did this with my 10 week old! We had so much fun and it was a great stretch! Thanks so much! <3
After two miscarriages in a row we are now expecting our first baby girl
My LO turned 2 2 weeks ago and I attempted this with her, what a laugh! I hope in a few more months she will take to it thank you for this video I really appreciate it!!!! And so relatable with how busy they can Be❤️☺️
this class was so fun to watch thank you! I am teaching toddler yoga at my local library and have not taught a kids class since teacher training, This helped me to see how kids classes need to flow and to be fun toddlers are amazing little people… this will be super fun Namaste
How old your baby..? When can I start dis after normal delivery?
My daughter just turned two and I could NOT get her to stay still to do those Positions for the life of me I guess practice makes perfect
i dunno about you guys, but i am not going to be able to breathe so steadily and gently when my labor starts
Edit: Ive had the baby, it went extremely smooth with a 12 hour labor and 20 minute pushing session, and yes, i did breathe steadily (:
This is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I’m going to try this with my 2 year old.
This video is old but my toddler and I love it! My toddler especially likes to “sing along” to the songs except we don’t really know the lyrics. Any way you can post the lyrics here. Thanks a ton!
My 4.5 mo baby grabbed two handfuls of my hair and screamed happily into my ear. Then he tried to throw himself to safety and latch on during fish pose. But I did yoga and had a laugh so 10/10 would recommend.
Thankyou so much I’m a nursery practitioner and I want to do yoga with my little ones and this is has really helped me xx
Great class, excited to the info to use! Sorry for being OCD about terminology… The definition of” frequency” is number of occurrences per unit time. So if contractions are occurring every 18 mins, the frequency would be 1/18 mins, or in English, one cycle every 18 mins. The “period ” is defined as the amount of time between occurrences. So in this example, period = 18 mins. It is the period that you time in labor, not the frequency.
Can’t wait to try this. Happy to know my daughter isn’t expected to follow through for 10 mins. She loves doing yoga poses and saying she is doing “yoga” so I hope she’ll enjoy this, she’s 2.5
Gosh, I got emotional watching your video. What joy to watch you lovely momma and baby do some awesome yoga and having great fun. Momma, you were so good to keep your LO busy the whole time.
Much love to both of you, I loved the video ♥️
I gotta say this looks really nice and relaxing but I’d be petrified of slipping and falling onto the baby. Must be some option out there with less exposure.
This worked great for me!
My pelvic floor has never felt this good
lovely child and really most appreciable great job:)
NICE…
This is so great! I’m so happy I found this video. Just started with my 2 yo and she loves it (most of the time #toddlers)! Yoga is one of my passions and I am so happy to share this with her.
Thanks so much! My daughter is quarantined and 10 weeks away so this is perfect… So helpful:)
“The Proof Is In The Pudding!” You are obviously doing something write raising your family.
Yoga is essential part of human development it was built not only our mind body but also spiritualy developes to know about the God. It is our tradition this is Indian tradition ancient period different great powerful yogi came here. They developed yoga it is a scientific art of living. Very mysterious all kind of diseases can we cure by yoga meditation and Pranayama. Everybody should practice yoga they should practice it at least 2 hours daily. Karmayog Bhakti Yog Dhyan Yog Raj Yog are the four parts of yoga.
Omg…what adorable child!!! thank you for the lovely video
For those concerned, this class is geared towards those with partners. If you’re a single mom with no ‘coach’, there are huge portions that are not for you.
My two year old son has done this video at least ten times and he keeps requesting it. Thank you!
These women seem oddly resistant to learning these techniques for being in a class for this purpose lol
Thankful for this class. Because of corona, I was not able to attend a birthing class. I’m due in 3 weeks.
At what age children can begin to practice yoga with us? I’m a beginner and my boy is 15 months old.
Beautiful baby. I just noticed the baby bald patch. I can help if you like. It’s what my company specializes in. Let me know if interested and I’ll send you a link to my website. Best wishes and thanks for the yoga!
I can feel the tension in the room every time Apollo opens his mouth
Wow…… I’m far from pregnant
actually I fell asleep to a you tube video hours ago and I woke up doing deep breathing along with a dream of working in a medical dental Office clinic combined with pregnant patients, yes bizarre dream I was a dental assistant all my working years 25+ (the only job I ever had, I started as a teenager working with and for my dad as well rounded dentist. He also used breathing techniques with his patients with a calm monotone voice, didn’t work for me as a kid but I was a horrible kid patient)
Anyway waking up to the deep calm breathing was so relaxing till my bladder woke up. I was so extremely relaxed coming out of a deep sleep, you voice is so clear and calming. I wish you were the voice to a relaxation audio. Your voice doesn’t click or pop or ssssnake basically annoy me so badly that the reasons rot a relaxing audio gets lost on me.
If you ever do a just breathing relaxing audio that can be looped… I have fibromyalgia and I often go through my bag of tricks to exhaustion to get relaxed enough to fall asleep without prescription drugs or over use of melatonin. Shutting down my brain and getting all my body to in-tense and reduce the pain of serious knotted muscles that will begin to cramp or jerk me awake many times… I get muscle tension headaches and just have to go to bed in hopes to fall asleep to sleep it off in the middle of the day. I’m a single mom of one she’s high functioning “special needs” kid… basically she several kids rolled into one. My body wears me out all on its own but the stress of a single mom without the relief/ breaks or support from her father put undue stress and strain all on me. Now the only break I was getting… schools have closed. I love my daughter and have been through more than enough medical with her feeding tube from a three week old because of her syndromedeletion 22q. And then when she was 9.5, Viral Encephalitis and that shanked her is so many ways and damaged her processing and personality and I believe some mood disorder but that’s tough to know because she a teenager too.
I just need a good soft solid voice that will calm me and talk quietly in one ear to keep me breathing and get my body to relax. I developed my own mental toes to the top of my head quiet visualize a dark room. I thing of a cat scan starting at my toes and I visualize every slice on a viewing screen like looking at X-rays and if I’m still awake I start from head to toe. And try to keep my closed eye visual so that my brain doesn’t engage and wonder off into a stressful day dream of too much of all the external issues of my live it think of new ways to craft something.
Please let me know if you make a breathing exercises audio. I’d pay to be able to put it on my phone
Can we talk about how cool it was when the little one harmonized?!
Yes! Mamas totally need workouts they can do with baby. Which is why I created a 10 minute floor lean legs workout on the floor. Keep it up
Do what chines do..they stay in bed for couple of month after delivery, and ur doing yoga no wonder white women gets old so fast
I’m 5 week post c section and got my 6 week check coming up. I’m hoping to be cleared to exercise by the Dr
Great info I’m having my first baby and am very excited. Learned a lot from this class since I can’t go to my hospital bc of the COVID 19. Thanks for all the very helpful information and will be getting ready to be a mommy.
You should tie your hair and do such exercises. Poor baby is smothered by your hair
I’m now pregnant this would be really helpful for me to recover back from delivery thank u so much keep on posting such videos
Thank you! I loved doing your pregnancy yoga videos while I was pregnant and am so glad you are doing a 4th trimester video as well. My baby is a few weeks older than yours, we named her Bonnie Scout Keep up the great content and ignore the haters❤️❤️❤️
Thanks so much for uploading this is much helpful then watching a computerized video and no tow way communication
what about clamping the baby umblical cord so he will not loose blood after deterching him from the mother lovely course infant it making me feel at ease to get pregnant now for before am always scared to give birth for as i know most people die during child labour why is that
I had C-section seaserion.. 5years ago.. but my diastasis recti is not recover.. and also have back pain.. sometimes it is very tough for me wake up from bed… Which type of exercises that i can do… And keep my body fit
I hope my partner and I can conceive. We want to have a baby so bad!
Man they say sleep in between but I’m 30 weeks and I’m so uncomfortable it takes me at least an hour to fall asleep
My toddler loves your video! P.S. what brand is your tank top? I like that it’s not so tight around the tummy!
Great video. But I didn’t hear the word “dad” not once. Kinda odd
If they is something kiking inside my stomach what does that mean
It is beautiful!! I tried with my little one and we loved it. Thanks a lot!!!
how can you get the power point presentation from her class?
Imagine while going through these stages of labor your only support can only be contacted on the phone.
You can do the first part while putting away your dishes in the cupboards. Especially if you babywear.
I’m due at the end of August and because of the pandemic I had no way of taking classes. This is my first baby so I had no idea what to do. I am so thankful for these videos to say the least.
Lots of good info, but honestly when I’m in labor, I’m in the zone on another planet and I don’t want anyone to touch me or talk to me. I also just move into whatever position not even thinking about it.
