@Unisport I suffered an ACL tear and making a comeback to playing on firm ground grass in South Africa. I wanted to pick up a pair of AGs, and like the Vapor 13 Pro AGs. Would you consider the stud pattern and sole plate less grippy than a Magista Opus FG (I know they’re old, but got a pair of them)? Both similar conical design, but Vapor AG has some slight differences (the hollow studs, two chevron blades on the heel etc). I’m looking for something safe, easy to turn and rotate in, and not as grippy. Any thoughts Vapor 13 AG Pro vs. Magista Opus?

At 15:43 Steet clear of the Nike Tiempo Legend 8 Elite. 20 minutes on the field brand new and my daughter got 2 blisters on the upper part of her heel.

There is what seems to be a air pocket just above the bottom part of the heel. Seems it’s suppose to bring comfort but delivered nothing but blisters. When I returned them the clerk at Nike already knew why I was returning them. She said “Blisters on the heel?” So it seems these are not a good batch of shoe.

I honestly can’t decide between the predator low cut and the vapour boots! Any help or advice? Just frustrating I have tried both pairs on and the preds feel a touch tight on the midfoot will it stretch out slightly to fit my foot? But then also the vapour felt like too big I’m my normal size then to small in the size below �� need help guys

Hi Joshua, is it normal to feel lots of stud pressure while trying on boots in store? (walking on hard floor etc) I am worried I will buy them and find out that they are uncomfortable on artificial grass(which is what I train and play on).

The Vapor V/Superfly 1 had a colorway that was white, black, and a pink swoosh. Probably one of the cleanest and classiest boots to ever feature pink

Hey Jay and Jose Cuervo, I live in Baltimore and have a couple of friends who work at the Under Armour headquarters and they have provided me with some insight about their soccer/football department. They are in fact taking a break, which is why they haven’t been doing any marketing for their new products. They are still making boots for the contracted players until the contracts are up and selling what was already produced on their website. They took a big hit on market share following the “Zipper Boot” and previous sub-par soccer products and are putting dollars where they see more value. They are will slowly come back though, or at least that’s the plan. Hope this helps!

Question. When do you think you will ever retire from your channels and if so, do you think anyone will takeover?

I use Nike Mercurial Vapor 12/13 MG boots because they need to be used on both grass and artificial types. I’m guessing that is a good idea as it means I’ve got good grip either way. I’ve also recently bought myself some new TF boots for when I’m at Goals pitches in summer. As Im in the UK, you can never be sure of how the weather will be so I may choose my Vapor 13 MG boots at Goals so I get more grip.
I guess MG boots behave like AG so are fine for multi ground as the MG suggests. I am glad that stud pattern exists as it is more aggressive but not banned.

I have AG Vapour 11 elites which I use on firm and soft ground pitches. On firm ground I feel as if my studs don’t sink in, but they do on soft ground. But I quess I’m safe because I don’t have injuries from trying to twist and turn.

Any tips on dealing with feet getting very hot from playing on AG surfaces?

I love boots, but honestly, when you’re playing 95% is technique and just the other 5% is boots.

I actually disagree with Jay. I’ve been wearing the Neos (Both 1, 2, and I just order the 2 beta) for most of my footballing life and I think the tooling actually is better than a bladed stud pattern. I rotate a lot during the game, not just run in a linear motion. Sure, it doesn’t grip the ground like mercurials do but I prefer the easier bite-and-release that they provide.

Adidas should reused the FG/AG studs on the Ace 15.1. But instead marketing it as a stud for both FG and AG, market it as AG studs that passable on FG as well. The studs worked well on AG, but doesnt have a good traction on FG. So to market it as AG boots that can be used on FG will attract players that play mostly on AG but occasionally on FG.

I love the Mercurial Vapor/Superfly with AG studs as they keep the same pattern with the FG ones, and the feeling is great when you sprint so you feel the same even with AG studs.
Haven’t tried any other, but I hope I can get the predator 20.1 with AG to try on, as they are awesome with the demonskin and I love to try it:D

I disagree with the choice of the Puma king platinum decision. I personally think it should be a C tier because it’s most likely not better than the X 19+, Predator 20+, and is not as good as the Puma future.

I would love to see Nike making HyperVenom 4 that would be actually like HyperVenom 1 + hidden laces (as in Vision 2) + socks (as in HyperVenom 3). Colors would not have any importance after such combination but would be appreciated if cause.

Perceived lightness is spot on. There were people at my old job would put on heavy boots but would say “wow, these feel so light” just because they fit them so well. I loved the KNG 100 uppers and the Kengalight was great. Hybridtouch, Teijin. There’s been a lot of great synthetic uppers. Japanese size is the best sizing.
Those Magnetico Clone Pro have been out in Japan for about 6 months. They’ve had some ok reviews…
