However, randomized controlled studies — the gold standard in scientific research — report that artificial sweeteners may reduce body weight, fat mass, and waist circumference (21, 22).On the one hand, some studies support that replacement of caloric sweeteners with loweror no-calorie alternatives can lead to modest weight loss in the short term. However, other studies have found the opposite: Consuming artificial sweeteners can eventually lead to weight gain. While many studies focus on the effects of artificial sweeteners on weight loss, there is still much to be uncovered about how they affect people over time, even when those people are not overweight. In 2017, Azad conducted a meta-analysis of 37 studies to examine what kinds of effects artificial sweeteners had on routine consumers over time.
Artificial sweeteners did not appear to help people lose weight. Instead, observational studies that looked at consumption over time suggested.Since added sugar is unhealthy, various artificial sweeteners have been invented to replicate the sweet taste of sugar.
As they’re virtually calorie-free, they’re often marketed as weight loss.Researchers say artificial sweeteners may interfere with the body’s natural ability to count calories based on a food’s sweetness and make people prone to overindulging in other sweet foods and.Long-term weight loss: The research is fuzzy artificial sweeteners may only work in the long term if you’re very cognizant of your overall calorie intake and don’t compensate with other foods.
A recent review of 56 studies found no significant outcomes in weight loss among adults drinking beverages with non-sugar sweeteners versus regular sugar. The review was conducted by a nonprofit international research group on behalf of the World Health Organization (WHO) and published in the British Medical Journal. Some older studies have shown that these sweeteners can aid weight loss. One concluded that “overall, the balance of evidence indicates that use of.
So are artificial sweeteners a good alternative, especially when it comes to weight loss? A. Many people consume artificial sweeteners, which include acesulfame, aspartame, neotame, saccharin, stevia plant extract, and sucralose, because they want to lose weight, avoid the “empty” (non-nutritious) calories of sugar, or avoid weight gain.Sucralose is a zero calorie sweetener synthesized from sugar.
It’s an important element of IdealShake as well as IdealBoost. At IdealShape we aim to produce delicious, weight loss promoting, SAFE products.Products that contain zero-calorie sweeteners are often marketed as being good for weight loss. However, sucralose and artificial sweeteners don’t.
If you tend to use sucralose because it’s a no-calorie option and you’re trying to lose weight, know that studies show artificial sweeteners like Splenda do not appear to help with weight loss. Instead, opt for natural sweeteners that are lower in calories instead. Raw honey and stevia are just two excellent options.Artificial sweeteners used to flavor food and pleasing to basically are suitable for people with diabetes and people who are in weight control. There are many artificial sweeteners such as aspartame and saccharin.
One problem with sugars is that many products add an extremely high amount of sugar to sweetener the products.Artificial Sweeteners Could Lead to Cravings Recently, more and more health professionals are discovering that artificial sweeteners can actually have negative effects on health. In one study, it was found that these sweeteners could actually cause some people to gain weight.

Great excess weightloss supplement! I am now down 15 lbs over the last few months and nothing has changed other than adding these pills to mydiet. Very happy that there are 0 side effects other than shedding the pounds. I am stock piling WeightLoss GreenStore Tea so I never run out!
I used to take blue sucrose packets. you look beautiful in the dress in your video
Thank you so much great video!! Definitely needed this real quick before nationals lol
Excellent video I use unsulphered molasses! Is it okay to consume?
Was watching this video while drinking diet coke:D Thanks for the clarification!
What is Custokebon Secrets and how does it work? I hear many individuals lost their weight with this popular weight loss secrets.
Man Paul I don’t know how you keep doing it brother. You ALWAYS address the questions I’m wondering about that NOBODY else even takes time to address. Thank you for being here for us. I’ve only been back at the whole weight training and healthy eating for about a year and a half now after a 6 year layoff , but along this journey I’ve really come to appreciate fine tuning my macro nutrient intake. Along with that, I really began wondering about the “smaller” things (micronutrients?) like sugar grams, sodium intake, fiber, vitamins, etc. it was so nice to hear you say you often exceed 100g of sugar daily because I do too as hard as I try to keep that lower. I get so sick of seeing these articles that preach “only consume 25g of sugar daily or else!”. I’m finding that the flexible eating lifestyle is really the absolute best all around approach to healthy eating and living. Maybe you could do a science with Steve special on all the micronutrients often overlooked and misunderstood? Hey you could even use the song by Blink 182 “All The Small Things” as your intro for that one . Anyways Paul THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for really delving into these issues that all of us wonder about but no one usually talks about. You’re making a huge difference buddy!
Ok find you someone who’d describe you like coach describes his energy drink! Lol that’s what true love looks like right there!
amazing video as always! you should make one about a peak week example!
Thank you for this video! It’s very informative and you made it so easy to understand. Keep ’em coming!:)
P.S. Pastries (esp donuts and coffee cake) are my weakness:(
I could watch Corrina in an outfit like that all day, every day.
I absolutely clicked on this video bc of her large….eyes, and deep….intellect.
artificial sugar…how did it get to the market?.. look it up…..
this is very off topic.. but can we expect a video on the ANABOLIC DIET? there is very less content about it
I lost over 60 lbs. twenty years ago, by drinking a ton of diet soda…kept off the majority….the caffeine and sweet taste did help me keep it off and brought my high cholesterol at vegan levels…..would a rock mend this? No, but at the rate I was going, I would of had diabetes… In my experience it did not cause me weight gain or make me crave junk food. An unbalanced diet will cause cravings, along with just being human living in a world along side crappy processed food….moderation….what is this?!
This is a fantastic way to lose weight and gain extra energy in the process! Those who say that they don’t have enough energy to make it to the gym after a shift at work, should definitely check this out. Weight loss green store tea is a great motivator and if you still can’t go to the gym, well, this will still help you lose weight, just not as much, though.
Glad to see you think so highly of honey. As a hobby beekeeper, I love to use it in my morning coffee.
The thing about energy drinks being associated with lifestyle is so true! As my college work gets more intense, ive found myself consuming caffeinated beverages and normally i wouldnt consider it healthy at all in a pretty condescending way, but considering im in a situation where other factors of my lifestyle are being executed mindfully like food and activity, its literally just a part of this phase in life due to work. Highly overlooked for sure, so much dogma around something thats really just objectively neutral lol
Anything! I love it all, but any sugar substitutions I’m allergic to so those are out.
Fitness Beni was is similar to the differences in political views. LOL
5yrs ago I saw a show I think it was “My Strange Addiction” and the girl was addicted to something, idk but all she ate was lettuce, and like 30 packets of artificial sweetener a DAY!! Anyway she was going to Doctors for her health and anorexia and she had developed brain cancer. And I think they believed it was the packets. I don’t ever use them, and I never will now.
Glad you touched on this coach…great points! Thank you!! I go by feel when I get closer to show day to eliminate the gas feeling
Paul as yourself I get around 100grams of sugar a day but you said you also watch your fiber, but how much fiber do you recommend taking or I’d like to know how much do you take?

I swear to god you’re a mind reader!! always a subject I need answering.
No sweeteners. Grass-fed meats and vegetables only…easy peasy.
i died from diabetis was brought back to life and told to exrecise and stay off sugar and for 5 years i am still alive…but i saw peters made an icecream with 10 grams of sorbitol and i had 400 grams and the next day i went into a semi tyred coma type lazyness i contributed to the ice cream.. if that had been sugar it might have been worse since ice cream can have 50 grams of sugar in it so i dont have it any more until they lower it to 10 milligrams a thousand times less in my blood.. now heinz has similer bake beans but no where will they tell me how much is in the tin so i measure my blood and how i feel the next day but i feel they are not telling me the truth and my life depends on this.. thank you skeatesybubbygoddess 2020
My mother drinks diet coke (bad as it is) because she has type 2 diabetes. and uses artificial sweetners in her coffee to help control the situation. What can I do to stop what she is doing and give her what she wants?
I quick using processed white sugar a long time ago. I have been consuming Splenda ever since. Within the last year, I have opted to using the liquid form of Splenda over the granulated. Within the last weeke, however, I have gone to raw cane sugar…considering Splenda is getting a bad rap. Incidentally, Splenda in my coffee in the morning does not cause me to eat more. My coffee is an appetite suppressant….with heavy cream and liquid Splenda. But I decided to see if anything changed by going to the raw cane sugar.
What is Fenoboci Diet Plan? Does it work? I hear most people lost their weight with this popular weight loss method.
Is stevia from skinny girl brand healthy and safe to consume?
Amen!!! I did the BRO diet with my first few competitions and it was hell! Fish for 4 meals a day and I hate fish!!! I finally found IIFYM and it has changed my life! Yea I gained 20 pounds in less than 2 weeks after my first show because I quit eating the meals right after my show. I had no idea so it took me a good year to get myself back where I was BEFORE I even started prep. Thanks Paul!!!
“Your diet does not make you better than anyone else. If you choose foods the you feel have an ethical value to of them does not add any value to your life. You’re just judging other people.” Truth!! I’m sharing to IG
Maple syrup once a week on pancakes. Wish I could make waffles.
I use local raw honey and stevia as my only sweeteners. I grow stevia and it grows lie a weed so I always have plenty on hand. Also just because stevia is sold in liquid form doesn’t mean it is chemically extracted or processed and bad for you. I use my stevia raw and fresh in smoothies and juicing. Dried and powdered works good for baking and I use the liquid drops for tea and coffee.
I always chew gum after meals to freshen my breath, but that has aspartame in it. Do you have a healthy recommendation for a breath freshener that doesn’t involve carrying a toothbrush everywhere with you?
Thank you so much for your videos. I am learning a lot from you and appreciate your time!
I am addicted to sugar straight up sugar. I load it in my coffee and on my cereal. I don’t eat a lot of sweet desserts or candies or anything like that. I don’t like soda or anything else sweetened. Hate artificial sugars. I tried to eliminate sugar and it was harder than cigarettes. I’m hooked. Maybe I should try to wean myself.
Love your stuff! Super balanced and common sense approach
I have always and still believe that the body does not know what to do with artificial ingredients such as artificial sweeteners and I really believe they’re one of the leading causes of cancer, I could care less how much weight they would help me lose being as unhealthy as they are, but I promise I am not judging at all! Just stating my opinion…
Make more videos I miss these videos. They are very informative.
I just subscribed. great info on these videos. How much protein do you think is needed when training to build muscle?
This is the first time i’ve seen Corrina on this channel for months, has she gained weight or is she pregnant? Not being rude, I am asking a genuine qiestion?

Corina great video, very informative. as a type 2 diabetic my doctor recommended me to use sweet-n-low, Equal or any artificial sweeteners. Can you recommend a sweetener for me. thanks in advance.
I’ve been just drinking water with fruit in it. Don’t miss the soda because of the availability of sparkling water. I do need to get rid of my baking sugar.
Keep your videos short mate. The first 2 minutes in your vidoes are a waste of time. People will subscribe if they want to, you dont need a 2 minute request speech in all your videos.
Yes!!! I love everything sweet but I don’t eat artificial sweeteners
Great info ☺, i got a big sugarproblem and this is very informative thx ☺
Thank you, I found this to be very helpful in how real sugars benefit you.
Holy crap Paul! Congrats on your channel growth! You’re KILLIN IT!
I rarely drink soda but I love cookies, cake, and candy. I’m trying to lay off because I’m getting in shape for field hockey this fall. I’m trying yoga and walking to get me in shape and I think it will work.
organic sugar and raw honey are my favorite but I do also use stevia drops
Our favorite is actually dried fruit around here. Oatmeal gets dried cherries or dried cranberries. My kids like dates too..awesome sweetness.
I have tried several excess supplements and keep going back to Weight Loss Green Store Tea because IT WORKS! You do need to take a decent amount of it and drink a lot of water in addition to healthy diet and exercise, but I find I lose twice as much taking this daily than I was without it.
Love your Videos Paul. They make so much sense. I literally watch them back to back whenever I have to do paperwork at my job. Really helping me on my mindset and knowledge, macros etc etc. Bless you! And Much Gratitude
My favorite sweet is fruit especially blackberries and mangoes.
Thanks for another great vid! I would love to know your thoughts on cooking with protein powder I use a plant based protein powder. Have heard much debate about whether heating protein powder denatures the protein and makes it ineffective.
I love all of them who created the really fast eating junk food every single day besides I don’t get cavities for what I hate here vegetables everyday
Wish I could drink these! I have a light tolerance for caffeine. I drink 1 8-10 oz cup of coffee in the morning after my workout. If I were to drink anymore caffeine I’d be up all night!
I love diet soda. The FDA says it’s safe. If it’s really bad maybe I’ll get a million dollar lawsuit.
Comment on video a while back requesting this. Thanks for doing a vid.
Clicks on video to learn how to fix my eating habits. Gets a small lesson on the production of cocaine… quality video
so organic cane sugar is a better option for natural sweeteners, next to raw local honey?
Where I live it’s kinda hard to get stevia, how about using sugarcane juice to sweeten stuff?
whats your position on agave syrup, i know that it sells itself like a “healthy” product with low sugar an and low GI but it has a lot of fructose, and that is not good as well
Thank you so much for this video! I love love love your in depth explanations!
I really like this Weight Loss Green Store Tea product because it actually works..which is rare! I have already lost 2 pounds, and it has only been a week! I will continue using this supplement until the bottle runs out, and I plan on purchasing another bottle or two to keep me on track.
The undelying message at the end is a great p.o.v./ advice and goes beyond artificial sweeteners with prep or other lifestyle dietary choices. I literally had to “bye Felicia” someone on a FB prep group that singled me out for promoting flexible dieting, stating that she chooses whole foods, etc, and has a better physique than those that do IIFYM, or other macro counting. I respectfully shared with her that flexible dieting can include whole food eating, but is “flexible” enough to allow someone to consume processed foods/drinks and still get the physique/result they want. Especially if that person craves sweets, etc., to reduce binging. It was like talking to a brick wall. She demonized any dietary approach that wasn’t whole/natural foods. I said “you do you, you look great, I’ll do me and I look great, and there’s plenty of flexible dieters out there that win Olympia with winning physiques”! Thanks for reminding us that lifestyle, personal choices, and accountability go a long way with any dietary approach taken.
I have only noticed now that my stevia is not only stevia, it also hás maltodextrin in it. What do you Think about agave?
