Great video!
Keep it up! <3
Dont forget to visit my Channel!!:D <3
Choco Nutz
Excellent bag. Neat and simple. I need to attach one to a tote bag so I’ll have to do some brain storming
I’m new at this so my brain exploded. But I’ll get there. Practice, practice, practice!
Yeah no, the fact that Hydroflask was even considered shows that you don’t know what you’re talking about
My Camelbak grew mold in the “bite and drink” part so I had to throw it away after 5 months:/
Wish you had brought up leak-proof. A lot of backpacks today (2020) have eliminated water bottle pockets from the outside of the bag so the bottle goes inside the pack. Leak-proof is key for me.
This is one of the most effing annoying knots in the world to learn. But still it’s fun when you do finally learn it
What was wrong with the old video? I was going back to it every 6 months or so, but ironically, I think I’ve finally committed this one to memory! Very useful knot! Thanks Bryan!
A metal bottle isn’t complete unless it look well-travelled and has its unique set of dents.
Another plus for nalgene bottles is that if they do break, you can just email the company and they will send you a replacement for free.
I think a loop with a double fisherman tied onto itself and the bottle between the two knots is faster and more simple and easily removed less steps I have been using to carry bottles of water for years
nice work.its to fiddly for my sausage fingers but a really great idea.

How do you have stickers on your hydroflask? Do you not wash it or do they not come off?
When hiking whats the point of an indestructible hard container water bottle?
I’ve tried this knot of and on for 3 years and never got it. I just use a hangman’s knot and square knot. Hangman goes around the neck of the bottle, square knot ties to the bight of the hangman.
I have the hydro flask and I’m obsessed!it was seriously 100 degrees outside and it still was cold!
Nice job! Thanks for the kinds words Bruce. And remember kiddies, no flipping and floppin!
Lol I love it, I’ve developed a similar one from scratch for my thermos mug (google says it’s tumbler? Who calls it that?) because I just hated having to leave it on the ground when practicing archery, this one seems way more useful for other stuff too though:)
Nalgene! They’re super durable, & Nothing is better than decking it out with stickers.
Cool knot. It looks like the start of a turks head. I tie them around the cup and through the handle of my coffee mug so everyone knows that is MY MUG. Keep up the great work.
Nice review! Checkout our TEST, when different insulated bottles got destroyed by 2019 Ram Rebel to see which one is actually usable after that
I have a sm water bodle it’s a cheaper than a hydro flask and the same quality and their rlly cute
Me and my sister got a 2 pack thermo flask for 15 dollars so yea and it’s like 40 ounce
Not only at hydroflasks expensive, they get dinged up, they don’t insulate that well. GET A RTIC WATERBOTTLE you’ll thank me later
Simple modern is an amazing water bottle too. It keeps your cold drinks cold for 24 hours and more. It also keeps hot drinks hot for 12 hours. So if your on the look for a great bottle I would recommend simple modern.
4:00 I had that water bottle and it’s really good and mine didn’t sound like nails in a chalkboard. But I lost it.
Very clever idea. Excellent tutorial. I can see other applications for this. TC Stan
The takeya costs 60 euros!!! Are we crazy? how in the hell 60 euros haha you said 20 bucks and i got excited…
But too far from reality
Great idea and a nice little project too! Thanks for sharing Bruce!
I’ve been using a very similar Nalgene bottle with a different lid very good but having to hold the lid out of the way is annoying:) small issue though
What are your thoughts on the brand the coldest water..bottle
Not having Klean Kanteen’s in this video is a disgrace! They are a family owned company and they care about our planet.
HydroFlask doesn’t keep things hot long enough. I guide in an Alaskan National park. Coffee is just warm and gross b4 3 hours pass. Try a Zojirushi.
i bought a hammerhead nathan yesterday cost me 44.95$ is this a good deal? its a 32oz. hot and cold as well
Have you tried the Coleman Autoseal Stainless steel bottles? They seem like the best option for the price and I never see anyone mention them.
Great idea Bruce, Thanks for taking the time to pass it along.
I like the Klean Canteen Reflect. It works well for me, as it’s simple and light.
The last one seems to have a lot of benefits my only complaint is that IT LOOKS LIKE SHIT! The looks are so garbage I am quite sad as I wanted to buy it.
loved this idea!!!! going on a cruise and hoping to make a few before we go. Thank you for this tutorial.
This water bottle was missing in this top it is rated number 1 in america.
Y does that hydro look so different from the ones I’m used to
Nalgenes also have an awesome warranty. If you break it, take a picture of it and email it to the company and they’ll replace it for free without a receipt
I brought a pair of hydro flask from Costco and didnt like it at all. After a couple hours the ice melt or the water taste bad. Talked to customer service and it wasnt much help. The only good thing about those hydro flask bottles r appearances and lid design.
I end up preferring the cheap one i brought at Walmart from Built. It kept ice for a long time despite my broken lid with two holes that never close.
So you just changed the title to 2019 for a video published mid 2018. Did I get that right?
Nalgene and Klean Kanteen all the way! Nalgene is basically indestructible, I’ve had one of my bottles for 18 years. The only downside is the crappy lids, but again, the replacement only cost $2 and duct tape and Spectra cord work great too.
Klean Kanteen doesn’t taste like metal, can take a billion beatings (two years of adventures and still going strong), is lighter than hydro flask, and also is cheaper.
Really cute. I’m going to make one also. When you mentioned the pocket I thought a small place for a regular water bottle lid would be nice.
Thanks so much for sharing.
Bekka
Now that is a very cool and useful little gadget. Thanks for showing how to put it together:)
-Krys
Yeti thermos trumps both the ozark and hydroflask. It’s dishwasher safe and can take an absolute beating, definitely heavier than the Hydro Flask however.
Mira bottles ftw, under half the price of hydroflask, identical and also compatible with all hydroflask lids. Think the 40oz is like 15 bucks on amazon
I was looking for a way to carry my s’well bottle and you solved my problem. Thanks! I’m gonna get to work!
Too complicated. Cross the line, fold the end back and figure 8 onto itself. You now have a slide loop. Do the same with the other end so you have two slide loops. You can now carry one, or two bottles with the same line, and you use a short piece too.
All my hydroflask bottles lids break with one fall. I’ll go with something better.
Kleen Kanteen should have gotten an honorable mention, I’ve had those bottles for years and they are durable and a little cheaper than Hydro Flask bottles.
I made a fur covered one for my friend who works at a lot of music festivals, you made this so easy!! Thank you!!
I prefer the insulated ones! However, I have eyes on some smart ones! I couldn’t pick one so I made a video about my Top 3 Water Bottles on Amazon! Which one would you suggest? I really can’t decide!
I tried to find a place to privately talk. ☹️ please delete if I am not allowed to ask here. But please don’t delete me lololol so can I make these and sell? Not on Etsy or anywhere else just on a website I am creating.
I live your Knots! But for this knot…..too confusing. Doing something different, then I will cut it off if I have to. Lol
Nice one Bruce. I end up doing something like this to secure my telephoto lens to my pack while hiking with it on my shoulder strap.:)
Why would you bother to designate the loops right, left and middle and then in the very next step refer to one them as the top loop and call the other the bottom??? #confusion
What type cord do you use?
What is that tool you use to feed cord down the center?
Thanks
Throwback to when Jeff made this video two years ago, made fun of Asian people and changed the title to the modern year for extra views
No shit i was just watching yalls older version of this a couple hours ago and thought that yall should update it and here it is.
Great video thanks for sharing. I can use that info to make the ridge line for my hammock very cool. atb John
I like it but I really suck at knots lol. Thanks for sharing, maybe I can get it now!
This knot’s great. The carrier knot / barrel sling on the other hand has the bottom slip out way too often.
Hello plZ attached water bottle cooling effects attached mean what use plz help
What about bobble with the charcoal filter to clean your water?
No Camelbak and Sigg? Their vacuum insulated bottles can preserve ice for 72 hours! Someone has tested them on youtube.
At Home Depot they have some large 12″ plastic ties, with bendable aluminum? metal rod inside. Little fingernail width pipe cleaners. Fluorescent colors, work very well in tying up and holding large objects. Also believe in using the ruck straps for other frontal carry systems, up to 3 on each strap (water bottle, water filter kit, fire making kit, nav kit, first aid kit, cordage and connectors kit (paracord and O rings/carabiners).
My hydro broke after a month and it never kept things cold or hot the ice would immediately melt after two minutes. I bought a stainless steel bottle from Starbucks and it hasn’t broken after two years and it also keeps ice solid for a few hours.
Nalgene’s is not “made with really thick plastic” but something called lexan. Why is this important? Because lexan is UV stabilized and can handle temps up to 270° ; that means it can be put into a pot of boiling water if you’re camping and want to heat up the contents. Lexan has been an industry standard plastic for commercial kitchen use. Just a small blurb that gives the Nalgene better dimension.
If you dont want to pay full price for the Hydroflasks, you can wait until they do a seasonal sale. They have a 4th of July sale 25% off everything which took off $10 the 32OZ one which was originally $40. Its not much but it is something. There are also many dupes on amazon that the reviews say are great.
I ended up with a Gordian knot and now my paracord is bloody useless. Thanks for nothing Guys.
I love cates. Can you show her on your next video please would love to see your beautiful CAT
how do you tie this rope bottle leash from Mizu https://mizulife.com/products/rope-leash?variant=31091566162

Hi guys try out Hydroset water bottle it’s the best water bottle I’ve ever had
I don’t have any of these but I do have something similar callers a thermoflask
Nalgenes are the WORST. So much condensation it wets anything I sit it on
Klean kanteen is the best.. you wanna know why?. search for it and you’ll find out, why its the best for me..
Entirely to over complicated for this task…Search bottle holder knots and scroll more…. wow
$ 40 for a water bottle is too much…but yet I like hydro flask…
Just made this for my wife to hang a mason jar from a hook. Not so tacticool, but worked great!
I wish you wouldn’t rename a one-year-old video to make it seem recent. at least you could put the effort in and make a new one
I’m sorry if i sound mean but, is that a terrible make-up or a dirty face?
you’re defenatly a genius at using machine and pimping your stuff!
