It is best to focus on building strength separately and making sure your walking form is as efficient as it can be. “It’s really not necessary to use hand, wrist or.

You can work your way from smaller weights to larger weights as well. If you still prefer walking, try going on a walk every day, especially if you frequently sit for work or relaxation. Stick to a plan and you will surely see results soon.Walking with hand weights can help you burn more calories when you walk, but you must use them correctly.

Consider how often you have read that your body adjusts to the same exercise and adapts quickly. To solve the problem – how much to walk to lose weight chart – you need a comprehensive approach. First, watch what you eat. Food should be low-calorie.
In your diet should be a lot of fresh vegetables and fruits. Do not overeat – stop eating. If you plan to walk, run, jog or use cardio machines with ankle weights, I highly recommend staying under five pounds The nice thing about adjustable weights is that there are some versions out there that you can raise in increments of one pound.
Answer From Edward R. Laskowski, M.D. Ankle weights generally aren’t recommended for brisk walking. Although ankle weights can increase the energy you burn while walking, they may strain the ankle joint and leg muscles, which could increase your risk of injury. To get more out of your walking routine, simply try picking up the pace.Walking with weights has its share of pros and cons.
Hand and wrist weights can increase your heart rate by 5 to 10 beats per minute and increase oxygen intake by 5 to 15%. You will also burn 5 to 8 more calories per mile. But they may cause strain on your.

I have done the same thing with my running routine and jump rope routine before but somehow I just feel exactly the same I never felt heavy on my ankles maybe because I have a very big calvs but I am curious about the results if the jump rope dudes will do it as a callorie burning test maybe it will not be the same results for you.
Is a weighted vest like a lighter weight/longer distance yoke carry?
Do they break if I throw them to the ground after each set? Like the weight changing mechanism gets broken?
I have light dumbbells. Can I simply do double the reps? Will it compensate heavier dumbbells?
PLEASE READ.
Remember one thing. SOMETHING is better than NOTHING (simple right?). Whatever you do, you’re going to get results. The speed at which they come is the only difference. The faster you try & get the results you want, the more likely you are to injure yourself and prolong the process ten-fold. But don’t go too light or you’ll get bored and eventually quit until you have the motivation to come back & try again.
Basically:
Don’t lift heavy…
Don’t lift light…
Go straight down the middle & hit the weights that will give you the same results without requiring a thousand boring-ass reps, & without being so taxing on your joints.
So… instead of 80-90 or 30-40, aim for 60% of your 1RM and your results will come 100% injury-free
To many long words and totally baffled listening to this one tonned none inspiring..
I’m so sick of every trainer telling me something different, do this, do that, blah, blah, blah,, I’m just going to grab a bag of chips and hit the couch and watch some tv..screw weightlifting. What a waste of time.
I’d build the stand on my own because I mean that piece of metal isn’t worth another 200€
Both are best this worked for me I did 10 reps 3 times with heavy weights and then did the same with light to pump the muscle and worked
What a weird coincidence. I Bought Ankle Weights 2 days ago.
How do I keep myself motivated doing calisthenics workouts? Crossfit or conventional gymming has group motivation. Plus I feel calisthenics has slower(arguably better) aesthetic transformation.
Calories burning videos with ankle weight (2 1/2 pounds)
I have tried out lots of weight loss plans already but none of them gave me the final results just like I got from this “Yamzoko Weebly” (Google it) program. I don’t truly feel jittery or maybe feel a crash, I am also not as starving as I used to. Ever since implementing the techniques stipulated in this particular plan, I dropped 15 lbs by now..
This video is perfect timing! I’ve been jumping rope for just over 3 months following your videos and I’ve lost a stone
My Crossropes arrived today and I was wondering about sticking my ankle weights on too. Might have to give it a go tomorrow. Keep Doing The Thing guys
I agree a weigjted vest makes things alot more challenging. I can do 400 decline push ups without the vest, but can only do 200 with a 12 pound vest. Benefits with a vest is your gonna get a bigger pump, sweat more, gain strength, and end up doing more reps then you used to on the days you don’t use the vest. It’s totally worth it
That huge black man who is squatting all that way with moving over 900 pounds do you want to talk about heavy weight and that doesn’t include himself which is another 250 so he’s moving or squatting rather over 1000 pounds that’s crazy
I totally debunk this theory,d heavier u go the more mass u get and add up,I tried it d more I went heavier the bigger and muscular I became,,,i could feel d pumps and vains showing,,so to me d heavier d better and more figured u become
Don’t even think about touching my 5 lb dumbbells, that’s mine.
Amazing video guys as always!! Do a calorie burner video with ankle weights
A weighted vest definitely takes it to the next level. Recently I wore a 30lb weight vest and chose three basic movements low inverted rows, Bulgarian split squats, and push-ups with feet elevated. Went through this 4x keeping rest periods to only 30-45 secs between exercises. Did 10 reps per set on push and pull and 12 per leg on BSS. I weigh 215 so total weight was 245. This was surprisingly challenging!
Thanks for all of those scientific articles as a basis for the best results. Doing Great,
I’m using a 40 kg vest and I use on my lags a 10 kg on each lag and I run 10 km per day, I been running since I was 7 so for me this type of training doesn’t make any injury or pain after that, and seriously when I take off the weight and go to a track…I feel like I’m flying
I don’t want to be an asshole… but in what world would someone actually need to do 2 kilogram dumbbell curls?
You should have a 30 day workout with your sister plzz and show her diet and how good she is at exercises
another great video as usual i have a question did you build these muscles only with progressive calisthenics or weighted calisthenics what i am trying to say is that can we build physique like you have with only progresive calisthenics and sorry for bad english
Check out Steve Justa book Rock Iron Steal. He shares his training with a 100lb vest.
This answers one of my workout questions, nice. But I wanted to also ask for tips to increase my leg strength and endurance for basketball, since I’ve started to incorporate 15-20 min jump sessions after my gym workout I wanted to see if you guys can recommend somethings I could do besides regular bounce and boxer hops.
Ok we all in quarantine now. Lol and I still want to build a booty at home with only light weight obviously since I can’t go to the gym. Tips anyone??
The first thing to come to mind is safety. Lift to correct any muscle imbalances. Then after this lift with strict form targeting as much as possible the muscles trained. All of the topics covered in the video is great advice and to add to this for more intensity you should increase your volume of your workout by increasing your sets while pausing your reps during the contraction phase of the exercise until failure.
How much weight would you recommend for basketball workouts?
So I’ve started 30 day 1000 jump rope a day that’s my 3 day and it feels amazing!! Can’t wait to see results after 30 days
The muscles, I personally go heavy are Chest, Back and Legs. The rest i don’t really load much. Helps me, and also i do a little core before every workout, you know just to tighten the core!
From Malaysia, just watched your video because I also thinking to buy 1 set of the dumbbell.
Powerblocks or Ironmaster way better. Expandable, smaller width and attachable to curl bar.
I always wanted to gain weight so wearing a vest is an instant way to do it
it’s just a 6 minute video of him saying “you should do both, let’s look at how to utilize them, do dropsets, you should do both, let’s look at how to utilize them, do dropsets..” and then he repeats. So I’m guessing do dropsets then? I’m like this really scrawny dude, need advice that’s a little less vague than this, anyone?
For fat loss, dietary regulation is King. Exercise pales in comparison.
When you wear ankle weights, you are heavier. Meaning, your calves need to exert more force to push you up, and your shins need to withstand more force when touching the ground. The obvious benefit would be that you will train your legs more and burn more calories if you jump the same amount as before the weights.
This is a question regarding 5:08, which I hope someone can answer. That’s a total of 12 sets for chest in one workout. Isn’t that too much volume? If this is repeated in another day of the week, that makes 24 sets. In another of Jeremy’s videos (as well as videos from other fitness channels), he explains that too much volume actually kills gains. And if I’m not mistaken, doing more volume one day a week is not nearly as good as spreading out the volume over multiple days in a week, preferably 2-3 days a week.
So, what to make of this?
I canceled my gym membership a few years ago after I saw this vid and bought the 55.5 adjustable at Walmart for 250
Light for warm up, heavy to build muscle tissue. Keep 10-15 reputation.
Heavy for higher reps (more like more sets or more volume) as said by Ronnie at the start of the video..
Putting the expression “ooooh”
And “very 80s” in the same sentence in a jump rope video was not what I came for here lol
Veel nederlanders hebben als ze engels praten heel erg accent maar jij niet
I’d rather buy a bulletproof vest with metal plates to multi task and save dough. Plus you’re safer while out exercising.
My back pain is so bad it’s been 2 weeks and I can barely get out of bed or walk around when working can you please give me some advice on how to heal it
Definitely interested in a calory burning video with ankle weights! Great video as always and keep up the good work guys! ❤️
Boring asf the info is good but I couldn’t watch the whole thing the voice had no enthusiasm
I’ve been using this same vest.. for 8 months. it’s gets to 100+ f in Yuma Arizona here and I walk 5 miles in it.
Tried to buy crossrope but discount code didn’t work so I didn’t.
I use light weights to get my muscle up and heavy weights to get stronger, I thought everyone did this. at least I have common sense.
I jump rope on concrete bare foot it’s how I like it but soft concrete at first you’ll get shin splints but after rest your shin bones adapt
Don’t be THAT GUY who jumps rope with ankle weights. NOT a good idea. It puts an unnecessary impact on the joints??
Theirs another thing you can do that I do, you wrap 500 grams of weights on wrist and 1 or 2 kg weights on ankle and when you jump its gonna be challenging but after removing it you are gonna be like ninja fast
So easy a thug kan do it.. Got 40 pounds, of weights not dope
All these videos confirm that my common sense program is on point. Designed by me, IMPLEMENTED by me.
buddy am i right? high weight low reps equals dense smaller same mass muscles that is true and low weight high reps is what bodybuilders do to get muscle fibers to be less dense than average man strong, men like worlds strongest they do high reps high weights or single extremely heavy reps
Light Weights is the best because I’m not going to competttion and it’s works fine and sherred body
The best is to start with heavy weights and finish muscles off with light weights but doing more reps
Third day today, I’m nineteen and could bench press 10kgs only for three sets, 7 reps. Help?
I used to lift heavy for up to 6 reps for years. It did alright but then my joints/back/tendons got achy and i started to feel like an old man complaining all the time. Swapped to higher reps 15-30 for everything.
Slow and controlled feeling the muscle in every rep. And only doing 1 to 2 working sets each exercise in full body workouts. Muscles blew up in size, especially legs, in and out of the gym in 45 minutes, inflammation completely gone, no more zombie feeling.
I feel amazing! The key is to do rest pause/beyond failure. Lift moderate weight controlled to absolute failure for 15-30 reps, take 3-5 deep breaths and then go again to failure. Done with that exercise, take a rest and move on to next.
Stop squatting heavy weights if you want huge legs. Pick up a dumbell and start doing goblet squats hiit style 20-30 reps at a time and do 5 to 10 sets. Do it every 3 days as well as hamstring curls, legs blow up.
I don’t think he has ever done this himself I mean, walked an hour with dumbbells. I can tell you it’s a lot more them a static bicep exercise. Like I only carry 1 bound weights on each hand (arms handing relaxed, like normally when walking) and I can really feel them after I have walked like an one hour. I feel them mostly on my front, back and side shoulders (the deltoid muscles and the trapezius muscle). I know that this doesn’t nervelessly burn a lot of calories but I just like the feel because walking by it self feels a kind of too easy.
This is just stupid. You can’t have the same rest days or sets for both weights. Bigger weight needs more rest and less sets. You can’t train three times a week with big weights.
I tried both, both are good but higher weight is way better, unfortunately for joints. But as I said, you must change frequency and volume when you change weight.
6 to 12 reps are the best. Except Toney Freeman bodybuilders use 6 to 12 reps. What study do you want? You already have the biggest study.
hey man I think you have to correct your IG account on your next videos…it’s @jeremyethier ✌✌
I dont know who the hell considers 24kgs light weight! You do not need to explain anything man. Your credibility is a lot more than thode juiced athletes out there claiming to be natural.
haters gonna hate bruh
you did a well review it helped me a lot lol
thnx
Good to know! I always heard that ankle weights were bad for your joints.
Off topic, but I really want to know what you’re wearing on your wrist.
So it’s safe to use w/ push-ups if I have a wrist or shoulder injury? I can use it w/ jumping movements? I can travel w/ a 50 or 100 lb vest? More of what I’ve come to experience from this channel.
Fucking being a bodybuilder lol. You’ll hurt like hell in older age, you can’t fight and you’ll be out of wind after 2 minutes of running. High risk of heart attacks. No thanks.
Lift how you want, just do it safely. Your work will pay off eventually.
These dumbbells were good at a point, but after years they broke on me and I never have slammed them or anything. Just very weak, metal dumbbells are better,
I am gonna try this!
Edit: So I did try this with 5 kg weight on each leg (11 lb for Americans). Honestly the rope jump wasn’t the hard part, although I did slow down. My major problem was keeping them on! Also after like 150 count, I kind of started feeling like I was sinking to the ground lol.
I wouldnt do puts a strain on ur body over time i used to do it with a weight vest its not good
Would love a calorie burning video with the weights. Thanks for all the great videos
Honestly in the marine corps we use to run around and do shit in our plate carriers that this was technically the same thing it’s great because with this people won’t look at you crazy haha
Just some more info on my jump rope come back. I was the guy that went to hard at the start 5 days a week for over 10 mins a session (1 min on 15 seconds off) and after 3 months my shins where gone. Well after 2 months off i am back third week now i have upped my minutes to 6.5 mins (30 on 30 off) for a total of 13 mins workout. There is a little of soreness after the work out which i stretch out with a roller but not that bad. And the next day i barely feel anything before i use to feel pain for days. I believe my legs are starting to get use to jump rope finally. I am still not getting ahead of myself ill increase each session by 30 seconds only and still only have 2 sessions a week for the first 3 months. I dont really get a sweat at the moment nor do i get puffed out but i am ok with that ill build up my tolerance first in my legs then ill add more minutes and a third day.
Sup I am doing it with 3kg guys and I am a kid who is 8 years old WoW I am jaked
Will it help bones if you just sit on a couch with the vest on?
Great tips, as always!
I’d love to see a workout with weights on!
What would you say about wearing a relatively light vest, say 8-10kg, on a daily basis? I currently work as a chimney sweep, which means a lot of ladder climbing and sitting/standing up when working at the fireplace. Would that be too much for your back and knees? I do have slight problems with my knees already, but that is almost entirely remedied by orthopedic soles. Thoughts?
Well, exercise is safe as long as you have no underlying issues period
IMO, this looks retarded. I expected to train with weighted clothing like Goku, but this looks dumb.
I just want to build muscle during covid and all I have is 8lb and 12lb weights. I’m a former figure competitor so I have strength. I’m a mom now and it’s been so long since I really weight lifted I’m hoping to get advantage of it being like my 1st time all over again
Heavy weights fuck up your body in the long run. Lightweights, more reps until failure has the same muscle gains. Basically whatever weight you use, even if you were to use body weight, the more reps you do, the more results you will see! Also using a lighter weight, you are able to do your reps properly
haters:pff bro you cant even lift 24 kgs lmoa
meanwhile they way like 120 kgs
Is very good video it’s quite educational as well this is my take heavyweights increase power light weights increase strength and muscle endurance now mind you I’m not saying one is better than the other it just depends what you’re looking for now some sports like powerlifting or football you need that power that explosion soccer and gymnastics you utilizes strength and endurance being the fact that I had Been in gymnastics throughout the years I’ve continued using light weights thank you so much for this video I highly recommend y’all have a great and stay well
you could allow the caption to Portuguese, I’m from Brazil and I’d like to understand better what you’re talking about
Heavy weight when I was a young man worked out OK however I had tore muscles and had sprains strains in all sorts of things and when I was young we shrug them off for the most part but now those little injuries are letting me know they still exist but they never healed and the guys it won’t light weight they look better now than the guys went to heavy weight and in fact they’re in better shape because they have longer muscle fibers and they don’t have the injuries there’s no downside to using light way you burn more calories alsoOne of the best exercises I’ve seen is from a woman called classical stretch she does a whole bunch of whole body exercises and it looks completely ridiculous and light weight but just try to do it you’ll be on your ass half and puffing like an old cigarette smoker classical stretch I challenge you
I look at which goal you want physically. Strength and power, or endurance?
i just thanks you personally because i don’t have heavy dumbbell at my house and confused on how to i improve my muscle…but thanks for you i get a lesson from ur lecturer
I been using my Altrails app https://www.alltrails.com/mobile on my phone to keep up with my trail-hiking, it has a lot of data in each hike I save/store on elevation gain, time, distance and calories burned (not sure how accurate it is) etc. I also have started wearing a loaded pack 20-30 lbs or just a patrol-belt 8-15 lbs depending on how good I feel on any particular day.
What I don’t know is how to add in any extra calorie burn for the extra weight I’m adding with the pack/belt, can anyone give me a ballpark idea on how much more calorie burn I can get from adding weight?
Not only will it burn fat.. Can u get more toned and defined in the arms??
Training pal recommends 10-lb weight vest. More than that, it can be very bulky. It minimizes the range of motion.
25kg plastic weight for 499€:000 you can actually get real gym dumbbells up to 25kg for this price
A small request. Can you pause at the end of a sentence? Thanks.
I find that a 25 lb level III armor with a 40 lb backpack makes my 5K run a lot more challenging.
These Guys also inspired me to pick up a jump rope and do the thing!!
I’m using all the things i learned from them to inspire people also using my channel..
I made my own video about jump rope benefits and advantages!!
And YEAH.. WE WANT TO SEE A CALORIE BURNING ROUTINE WITH WEIGHTS!!!
There is something about jumping rope that makes me feel so good, you guys are awesome
Hey I am having some problems, after skipping some time my leg wears out real quick, after some time I can’t even jump on one leg, especially the right one.
And my legs starts to ache a lot, I can’t even walk and I just want to know is it normal?
And I must add that it only started after I skipped for 17-20 minutes one day. After that day my feet becomes really sore really quick before that it was ok though i never went 100% before.
The benefit of ankle weights is to generate HORIZONTAL RESISTANCE not necessarily vertical resitance. For vertical resistance one should use a weighted vest. Going back to horizontal resistance, while jumping rope one should maintain the feet as close to the ground as possible, but increasing the range of motion horizontally.
What about a weight vest? Imagine that will really up your workout intensity!
What to do if I eat a lot but my body weight doesn’t gain cause I want to bulid more muscle.
I feel like wearing this every day for like 5 days and see if anything happens
I rather lift heavy it makes u stronger and u build muscle fast
Real ones know the answer is to go heavy and do lots of reps. It takes a strong mindset and a pretty high level of training, but that style is used in every top level sport involving lifting whether it’s bodybuilding, powerlifting, weightlifting, strongman, etc. I mean like set of 8-12 where each rep feels like a legitimate struggle.
1) Snatch Grip Romanian Deadlifts
Since we are doing Romanian style so the poundage will be not equal to a regular DL and Snatch Grip for upper back hypertrophy…
Overhead Press
Prolly the best upper body exercise…
Dips (or Bench Press if can’t do Dips)
Best upper body exercise without weights. If you can’t do Dips then do Bench Press. But Dips and OHP goes easier on shoulder joint than Bench Press…
Listening to your voice is a chore. It’s like a kid being forced to read aloud in class. Did you want to do this video? Practice public speaking.
Video starts at 04:31 after he stops ranting about douchebags in the comment section
Is jumping ropes with 1kg wrist weight good? It’s painful after few minutes though. Just curious…
Hey! This is unrelated to this video in particular, but I’m a student living in India who can’t really afford to buy the CrossRope with shipping costs. Do you know if there are any alternatives I can get here? Can’t find weighted ropes at all! How would my results be if I used a light rope?
The studies/research into this kind of thing shows that it is gimmicky and increases injury potential with negligible if any benefits.
Alright guys, I’m a noob, and I’m not claiming to be some kind of strongman.. But, why is 24kg enough? For example i do Shoulder raises with dumbells at 30kg. I am not trying to brag, please let me know what this is about?
Wtf is with all the talking and cutting clip mid sentence. Can’t watch this trash review.
Heavy weights build fast twitch muscles, which makes you fast and strong, while light weights build slow twitch muscles which builds endurance, basically
Thanks for helping us skip rope, get lean and live more these vids have been extremely helpful
This also depends on if you push yourself as far as you would go with both weight sets. Most people don’t push themselves as far when using larger weight as they would with smaller weights if working out to failure. With this in mind I use smaller weights more reps.
I’ve heard that weighted wrist bands and ankle bands are a bad idea but would a weighted full body suit work without ruining any joints in the ankles, wrist, etc
My gym has a lot of these and I was thinking well how am I gonna replicate walking on a treadmill especially with such a large local gym? This is the answer. Only reason I kept a commercial gym for so long was because for treadmill purposes when it comes to walking.
THE MOST EXPENSIVE DUMBBELLS IN THE WORLD bullshit, disliked. Try Powerblock commercials.
Bad idea, plus Crossrope are heavy anyway so skipping for a long time is already difficult
I got mine on a discount from walmart and I am very happy with my purchase bow flex is top of the line product
I would not recommend ankle for newbies or for us older folks. For newbies, like me, the focus should be on technique and building up endurance slowly. Ankle weights will tire you faster, which will then cause potential injury due to losing the proper technique. Jumping rope is a high impact exercise, and adding weights makes the impact higher which could cause stress fractures, and joint injury. Not a good idea.
You guys should do a breathing video. Too many people get gassed out with poor breathing techniques. I think it would be a great video for y’all to go to help people “DO THE THING”.
I’ve just bought the ones that go up to 41kg.. can’t wait for them to come. Something to do in isolation!
About a year ago, I got two dumbells with a maximum weight of 52.5 pounds each that’s like 24 kg each, and also you could adjust the weight manually since the weight were just rounded plates of 2.5,5 and 10 pounds, and I got them from ebay for only 99 dollars hahah xD do you guys think it was worth it?
I used to think these lightweight dumbbells under my bed are useless. Thanks a lot
These cost from $180 Australian dollars a pair for 24kg each. Do the conversion they’re cheap…
Good sharing bro…but…Smart dumbells make u dumb, like Smart phones.
Please make video Jump rope Abs workout with ankle weights. Please
Gotta use ankle weights while skipping rope to confuse the body, right babe? Goddamnit!
I noticed a guy walking into a Baskins Robbins with ankle weights on. Does this offset an extra scoop of ice cream? Oh and he was wearing a Nike jogging outfit but looked as if he never participated in that activity.
Just lift the weight that makes you feel that you did enough…don’t compare your body with others….not everyone have equal strength..and rock it…
I started a few days ago and it’s 2 am rn and i just have the urge to jump rope
I’m telling you now brothers ankle weights with skipping running walking WILL smash your knee’s and groin up. Only thing there good for leg raiser’s or donkey kicks.
I have also started using ankle weights and seeing good results
What about use a ankle weight or weighted vest the entire day?
I bought these but I want the 95lb one now. Those are fucking like 500$
Hey, Matt can you give some excercises to increase dorsiflexion specifically
I don’t care what your graphs say. If you think light weights are the same as heavy weights let’s do done free weight quats.
Actually, your video is but worth watching. I left the video the moment I finished typing this lmao.
I’ve jumped rope in heavy leather work boots or even with the added weight of a heavy winter coat and it suuuuuuuccckkkksssss hahaha
Nice vlog Browney, en op het laatste van je vlog praatte je heel kort Nederlands. ( waarvan ik even dacht: euhm )
Ik dacht en denk dat nog altijd, maar is je moedertaal Engels of Nederlands?
Je hoeft daar niet op te reageren van me:).
Mvg,
J
always smash dat liek.
(make sure to check out my latest vid to see why im not on social media anymore)
Mix it up but go heavy often enough to stress yourself and test your max so u can track your strength gains
so all i got is a 2kg weight at home im 15 if i do 300 reps on each arm
which is what im doing will i get anywhere
@Brian Klepacki What weighted vest are you using in the video? I like how it conforms to the body and is low profile
In my opinion heavier weights build bigger muscles. My workout routine is i work out one day and rest the next day.
I’m doing this with P90 to get more out of the cardio. I couldn’t afford to increase my regular weights, this seemed like a good idea. Not a huge change but I noticed it.
The problem with ankle weights I think iscomes when you run or do double unders like you said because you could really hurt yourself if you land poorly and it’s putting extra pressure on your joints
Warm up with the light then go with heavier weight… it’s all how you feel you know your body.. but he is right.
I big con that I agree with is the impact it has on your ankles. I think it would be better to use a weight vest rather than using ankle weights
Its been a looooong day without my friend,
I will like your video
when I see you again
The perspective to consider is constant TNT (time under tension) and absolute focus on the muscle that’s being worked. That gets you to failure whether you’re training lighter or heavier. Some people move the weight too quickly, pause at the the beginning and end of the movement thereby removing tension on the muscle, and are not mentally focused on what they’re doing.
Food for thought: Compare the leg size and definition with some pro cyclists to that of regular gym users.
I just can’t to get outside and run!! Snowed again this weekend, hopefully the last week of treadmill running
I literally had 2 ligament surgery on my left shoulder and broke my right shoulder and reconstruction on my right ligament. So, yes I been to a lot of professional physio, personal training sessions, hospital and many more. And they all agreed that even 24kg is more than enough (like way more enough)
You need to factor in what you’re eating and what your putting in your body more so than anything.
im just gonna were them all the time so that when I take them off in a fight I can show my opponents my true power…
I want my arms to slim down is this helping if i walk for 40 mins a day
If you want to increase the intensity spin the rope faster and/or add plyo’s and calisthenics to your workout.
I’ve been lifting light weights for almost 3 months
180 push-ups a day and still small arms and people would be willing to say,,patience” lmao tomorrow I buy heavy
Can I not just put a weight in each of my jacket pockets to get the same effect?
Hey guys! I’ve tried a lot and I mean a lot of different ways to lose weight, healthy and unhealthy, I am 5’8 260 lbs, am I too big to jump rope to lose weight? Do you recommend me doing something that won’t have such an impact on my joints? Completely healthy by the way, would just like you guys opinion. Thanks.
can u send 2 dumbells to me cuz where i live delivery is like 400$ from amazon ill pay u
Ankle weights + 1lb/2lbs rope sounds like really good workout.
I’d skip the weight vest too if I’m going to run or walk with it, hips, knees and ankles suffer from it (maybe not a 5#, but 30 definitely). Didn’t hear you remind the obvious that fat loss can (should) also be helped by food, as it takes quite some steps to burn off a Big Mac!
Its about 2 weeks no videos uploded!!!!! bro where are you???? please come back with a new video…..
It always feels great when I take off the backpack and lose 60 lbs and then can run like the wind.
Jesus i remember when you followed me on twitter to promote your youtube channel
I put a 20 lb weight in a back pack while on elliptical it’s hard but good
I’m 62…I’m just happy to lift something, anything! I lift relatively light 20 pounds on each arm for arm curls. I have no interest in getting big or bigger. Just want to keep everything tight and limber, not looking to win Mr Universe contest anytime soon
FUCK there’s like 3,8 comments here and pretty much all of them seem to have differing views…I’m just new to strength training/weightlifting and I just want to add muscle to my upper body,I have a set of Dumbbells that each came with 4x 5Kg plates,2x 2,5Kg Plates and 2x 1,5Kg plates…now when fully stacked they each weigh 14KG, all I want to know is should I go the full Monty by stacking each to the max with less reps or should I start with the light, say 2,5 KG with many reps…??? Which one would be best??
2:37 can you tell me the name of the vid where you said this?
You guys should test out weighted vest next. Does anyone currently jump in weighted vest?
I personally don’t think it would be good, not even jumping on your first set….
A pair of the 24 kg in the U.S.A. is around 300 dollars and the 40 kg pair is 600 dollars
So basically just lift it’s all the same wtf this guy on about
jammer dat de coupon niet werkt
kan je een nieuwe coupon toevoegen??
You videos are hard to follow, stop going on off point every 2sec
I love your channel so much, you have a video for literally every question I have. Thank you!!
Hi there! Considering a a lightweight workout what would be the proper number of sessions per week and how often?
I agree with your opinion. Appreciate you testing this out and informing the community.
As always,
Would weighted exercises e.g. running be ok if you wore knee supports (when you dont need them normally)
I like wearing heavy boots, and a backpack and carrying everyones drinks and with lotsa ice to keep it super cold, plus it is a nice challenge that keeps me from outpacing the slower walkers.
So this is for those who don’t have time to lift weights or can’t lift weights?
If you want your joints to work use small weights and just focus on form. You’ll hit the muscle while keeping your joints safe
i agree but if people “get hungry” from the harder work and then eat their usual junk or just more they might not get to their goal of losing weight.. people need to chill when it comes to food..they need to choose the right food (no sugars) and preferably organic veggies are great.. salads..some good fats some protein.. instead of being hooked on sugars from the moment they wake up..
would love a calorie burning workout video with ankle/wrist weights or a weighted vest! thank you! do the thing!
You’ve touched your head to many times half half video went in complaining you shmuck
Haters gonna hate bro. This is the type of world we live in, no one likes to see others succeed. Keep it up man.
Watching this since I only have light weights in my home for quarantine lmao
People got mad and show how passive agressive they are for literaly no reason
Hello everyone! What is the duration of the sets for 30-40 reps in that study? Who knows?
Go heavy on your first 2 sets. Then lower the weight to dish out 15 reps and trust me that shit burns like fuck
In the trained study hopefully they tested them for steroid use because then it’s the beginner gains story all over again.
caloric burning is NOT my focus. strength. always. is. my. focus. some size increase would be lovely as well.
gonna start incorporating…weights with my meditation walks. want to increase forearm strength. for pull ups.
actually i’m gonna use 1 gallon poland spring water jugs. don’t want to purchase weights. (that’s actually how i started my weightlifting back in the day/as a teen. i lifted water jugs. lol! and my packed suitcase!!! lol!!!! aaahhh. memories of yesteryear!!!)
how many times a day do you workout and how long is each session?
Which brand are the at night reflector ankle weights? thank you:)
Do a calorie burn vid with ankle weights…and another using a weight vest! The 511 Tactical vests are popular with the cross fitters.
Why aren’t you uploading. I’m getting bored of life. My mum keeps screaming at me when I don’t do anything. You are the only one that relieves my stress and sadness
to everyone saying that 24kg is more than enough. You don’t only curl with dumbbells if you know what you are talking about. You do chest presses and dumbbell deadlifts, which in this case 24kg might not be enough.
Well I never tried to put weight on my ankle because I read that at long term it is pretty bad for the joints.
You talked about using them for squats or lunges or push-up excercise but I would personnaly rather use weight gilet.
That would balance the weight around all body not just a specific area.
so, for example
i do biceps curls, 12.5 kilo (27.5 pounds) dumbbell, (all exercises 12 reps x 3 sets with about a minute rest in between sets, i do other reps in between rest)
triceps same as biceps
shoulder, all 3 muscle groups, (back middle front) 7.5 kilo (i know this is not a good weight, but above it i fail my 12 reps)
neck/traps 12.5 kilo
upper back same 12.5 kilo
all are close to failure, and i do these every other day, i switch lower/upper body, so i exercise every day, for about an hour
i can’t find what weights to use, so i just started with some and aim to failure
is this wrong?
been doing this for a month now, i think
i need a trainer i guess… but corona….
I find people very interesting, is it not difficult enough jumping rope then adding ankle weights. What would be the benefits and it’s impact on the knees and ankle. Hmmmm for me, plain consistent jumping rope is good enough
Light weights… i do 4 sets of 10 with 5 to 7.5 kg.. 3 days workout with day 4 rest then repeat….. 4 nutrition meals / day for muscles gain… will put in the work & let’s see by 3 months if any change happens
Hey just discovered your channel, it’s awesome and I just started to get into jump rope, but I have one question, did you get that muscular just by jumping rope or did you do other exercise?
There cool and all. But the price for that is to high. Just get the cheap ones they will work just the same.
I’m a cardio guy, weights are just so boring to me, how do people sit in one spot like that?
You guys are awesome!!! You guys inspired me so much to make videos and I just dropped a video talking about the ropes! Any support would be awesome!! Keep up the great content guys!!
