Wow!! This video makes me want to go and use my urban rebounder now! I got mine urban rebounder many years ago. It’s a JB Bern’s one that he created how many years ago, I bought mine when he created it and started selling them, I bought mine immediately during that time, and it’s still going strong. I have all his dvds that came with it, their super intensive plus intermediate and so so much fun, his a fantastic fitness instructor.

Do your research on best rebounder but I bought the Belliconsame he has above and I think it is the absolute best hands down. I’ve had the cheaper springs ones like cellusizer but it was no where near as well made. The Bellicon is like jumping on a happy cloud.
I so much appreciate all the information, but I would have liked to SEE how to utilize the rebounder. And I have a question, I live in an old apartment building with neighbors close in proximity, is there a rebounder that is “silent?” I don’t want my neighbors to think I’m having an “intimate moment” if you get my drift.

I’ve had JB Berns Urban Rebounder for 15+ and now during lockdown I would be lost without it. I do various routines and make up my own.
My favorite thing about rebounding. Is that 5 min is equivalent to 50 min of running. Fun fact: Astronauts are instructed to rebound when they return back to earth.

Bellicon prices are astenomical..and it’s not true that a well built spring rebounder is not good. The new celluzier pro is only about $400.and they say the spring will pretty much last forever and not just.
Do some research before buying.
Rebounding! I can exercise after being on my feet all day! I’ve had trouble with my feet. Rebounding feels wonderful on my feet! Balance improved quickly! Love it after just 1 week!

I found that when I jump on my rebounder I can breathe so much better afterwards. I don’t get that with regular exercise.
What about kids? We always hear trampolines aren’t safe, bad for your back etc. Since a rebounder isnt technically a trampoline would this be a better option?
I just bought one for myself but would consider getting a couple more for my kids so we could all play…er… i mean…work out together…

Are the benefits the same As using a rebounder?
I was looking for ways to work out after my accident. (ruptured discs in back and neck) I hate running so much, and i dont mind walking, but its either 30 degrees or 110 degrees, so I kind of sheltered myself in my home. My complex has a gym, but the people who hang out there aren’t friendly, and half the machines are always broken. So i asked my doctor if rebounding would be a good idea, and he yelled at me “yes!” so many times and “why didnt i think of that!?” so i bought a little one designed by golds gym. I was skeptical at first because i weigh the max limit as the trampoline holds, but i got on thurs/friday and jumped for 15 minutes each, one with shoes, one without. I really enjoy it, especially with a rock mix on my ipod i can create slow or fast jumps to match the music and i sweat like crazy. I do about 7 minutes take a break and get some water, walk around, then do another 8 minutes to finish it off. I’m trying to work up to 30 minutes, but my ankles just burn so bad i cant make it yet.
is there a difference jumping with shoes or without? My ankles were on fire, and i didnt feel any soreness the next day, so i thought i was doing it wrong..
I decided to work out M=F and have my weekends off, I started counting calories as well. After my accident i was at 295 (Bed ridden for a long time) Once i was able to get out and get moving, i would do walking, squats and use a resistance band. I got down to 250 and just gave up for a bit. (depression/anxiety issues) and i moved out of state, and thats when i got my re bounder. I dont know if its a mental thing, but after 2 days i feel great. i know it wasn’t much time on there and i only burned about 177-200 calories per time, but with 11-1200 steps already on top of being on my feet at a very physical job, i was wiped out! I go to bed earlier, and i dont eat late anymore, and i can do it in my own apartment. It doesn’t bounce the ground so it doesn’t bug my neighbors, I’m just hoping I’ll start seeing some results and maybe get a higher bounce.
My top reason is that bouncing is fun. Simple bouncing up-down-up-down… is already fun. I love to feel the short moment in the air.

Thank you for the explanation. Upon starting rebounding this week, after 16 years of nonstop daily cardio for hours with minimal results, I can FEEL the results. I have parts of my body recovering that I never even knew existed! My abs have that ache of having had done about 2,000 crunches yesterday. I used to be a gymnast as a teenager so I feel like a little kid again. Can still do all the flips and handsprings on a large trampoline. Would you recommend that? I feel like I can fly, it’s fun.
I really want to save up and get a very nice rebounder some day. (But my job is on “pause” currently, due to “Covid-19”). Are there any sources or websites you’d recommend to get a decent one at a decent price? I am very scared that I could get injured on my current one. I’m hoping the aches in certain back areas are from doing workouts and not from a cheaper rebounder. Because I feel I’m falling in love with the process.

This reinforces my commitment to my daily exercise with the rebounder. I have been bouncing since 2004. I use the ReboundAir mini trampoline which folds and cost me about $215 at the time. I do need to vary my jumping moves though on the trampoline.

Do you have to pay an exorbitant price to get the best effect from a rebounder. What half fold type bungee rebounder will potentially give me the best lymphatic and/or cellular outcome.

I bought a rebounder and keep it in the living room. I use it every day and so do the kids which is another nice benefit. The kids also get exercise in the house! Exercise equipment is likely to just sit around getting dusty but not the rebounder!

As a bus driver my job is really bad for my health, too much sitting down, I started rebounding last July and it’s great! I’ve broken two trampettes that have springs and I’m going to buy myself a proper rebounder with bungee cord. Rebounding has really improved my fitness.

I would rebound for the rest of my life. I just ordered another one after a third springs snapped off on my Urban Rebounder! It still works, but I don’t feel safe using it especially when the spring popped loose during my workout.

Bought a rebounder jan 19 still using it everyday agree with all10 but biggest it’s the brain toxins gone after 15 mins I do it first thing in a morning and before you know it I’ve done 40 mins now with COVID I replace what I would have walked to a meeting with a rebound I don’t feel guilty at all about that I use it as prep time for the meeting whilst getting a little bounce in and it’s what I would have walked anyway but nearly all of my colleagues getting out of bed straight onto computer then sitting all day, thank god I had mine. I also do a twenty min walk imagining I’m walking to work (but it’s actually around the block back to my house) and then a 20 min walk home (same) I don’t want to be a different kind of victim to COVID gaining weight, sluggish, unfit, resentful. Get a rebounder! Lost three stone too so really don’t want that creeping back on because of COVID I need to be fit mentally and physically for any virus that comes my way and fit for my family too. I’m 54 and fitter today than I have ever been.

I just received my Jumpstart 350 rebounder.. I bought this for my son who has autism I just want him to burn excess energy while we are stuck at home, social distancing during this pandemic. I had fun bouncing on it too till I learn that there are a number a benefits using this! I cannot believe this method has been around for years. So it’s a win-win. Fun for the whole family and getting exercise at the cellular level at the same time.

I just bought a rebounder and its absolutely the most fun ive ever had. I’m gonna get a better one though that you just recommended.
I have Lymphodema and my legs have painful swelling and if given up on running I missed it so much. I went on a trampoline with my niece and it absolutely made me so happy and my legs felt BETTER while on it and afterwards! I just got the trampoline yesterday and already have done 2 workouts and feel so much more energetic and happy. thank you for this recommendation. I will be investing in another high quality trampoline.

I have been rebounding for 2 years and I’m 75…I bought mine at Walmart’s for 37.00 because I can’t afford the prices for most.. I ask my I google to play Donna Summers music and I bounce to her songs for 15 minutes a day. I’m sure it has helped my balance,because when I started it I was weaving on the rebounder but now I am steady When doing this to music it really stimulates everything,,arm movements and circulation..I have always hated exercise but this has been fun,,like going dancing to me.. We got an Urban rebounder. It has springs, but it comes with resistance bands and 5 workout discs that I have yet to use. I do a 10 minute rebound workout AFTER I do high intensity weight training, the elliptical. I also do battle ropes twice a week and power yoga 3 times per week. I like to rebound at the end of my exercise routine to give my body that extra oomph and it works. My energy has been higher than before. I went from 240 to 170 BEFORE the rebounder and I am trying to see if the extra 10 minutes a day rebounding will help me lose some fat around the middle. What’s left of it anyway. Great video!

I bought my Rebounder 4 days ago and I am HOOKED! I looked at my favorite Music Videos on YouTube and just Jumped. I was smiling and laughing, it was super fun. I didn’t feel like I was working out like on the elliptical or a workout video. I just did 4 music videos which was maybe 8-10mins. Lots of Michael and Janet Jackson videos. And what has hooked me was the next day, I felt it. My stomach was sore and I didn’t do 1 crunch. Also I notice the next workout on the rebounder I notice my stomach felt lighter. And I needed to use the Bathroom after, and a detox occurred..Hint hint! So I am going to stick with it. Because I feel great and it feels fun, to me. My body afterwards felt like I walked over 30 miles uphill. I bought a metal spring rebounder for like around 80 bucks on Walmart. I read the reviews on the non metal spring rebounders and they were not good. Hopes this helps anyone who is skeptical, because I am very happy I took a chance.

Thank you for this educational health/exercise video. This is excellent information. I was trained and certified in Reboundology over 20 years ago. I was aware of some of the points you made though not all of them. In all the years of rebounding since-which has definitely brought me better health and quality of life!-I’ve never done the targeted exercises. I’m looking forward to incorporating these into my rebounding routines!

I’d like to ask 2 questions. Is rebounding suitable for those with varicose veins? I’ve got them in my right leg, but would like to rebound to lose weight. And is a handle necessary? I’m not sure whether to buy a rebounder with a handle or not. I don’t have an issue with my balance (I cycle and rollerblade), but don’t have experience with rebounders. It seems to me that the ones with a handle feel safer, on the other hand I don’t have much space at home. Thank you.
Thank you for keeping all the ridiculous negative statements. This video is exactly what I was looking for! I am an Energy Healer. I heal on a Cellular Level. My research is the relative was causes the constant erosion on the cellular level even after repair. On a physical level sometimes people cause the failure of organs/organ systems on a simple cellular level/electronic system. When the constant short circuiting occurs over and over (the layering of external environmental factors mentioned) organ malunction and/or cancer develops.

You started out great, but moved from the scientific to the ridiculous. Bad for those who are already ignorant of scientific principles and look to their horror-scopes to figure out whether to eat green beans or the dandelions the dog brought in from his poop session this morning.
I really appreciate your video. I just started rebounding a few weeks ago and I love it! Sometimes I find routines on YouTube and sometimes I just turn on some good music, set my timer, and go for it! I notice that my energy level seems higher & I’m already losing a few inches.
