I remember I saw the #1 Carcinogen in the U.S was being overweight, it leads to cancer, heart disease diabetes etc, all which can lead to very painful ailments and a much harder life, ever since I found this out, I at least do some pushups and lift weights basically every morning compared to nothing and over eating, it scared me enough to make a shift in the right direction!
Some people just don’t get it, they cannot understand that eating healthy & exercising is essential to living a happier life… you can have this and that, all the luxury things you think you want, but without your health you will never really feel good. And it’s the truth. You know it is. Sometimes we need an extra push, sometimes we do let ourselves slack off because of whatever reason (working too much, exhaustion, stress, etc.), sometimes we need that motivation back: sometimes we need that slap in the face that makes us remember how important it is and that WE CAN DO IT again! I love how he refers to ourselves (individual human beings) as our own ecosystems. I love that. It’s so true people! Think about the food you eat, for example. You know the organic, natural food grown from the ground is what is truly the most healthy. The food farmers grow on their own and the food we really can grow ourselves too! It’s not convenient, and there are a lot of things so many of us would have to change and get used to… but really think about your health. Do you truly want to be the healthiest you’ve ever been or ever could be? Because I think it’s a worthwhile investment!
I don’t consume sweets, don’t eat trashy food yet I’ve always hated exercise. It’s just boring and I don’t get any dopamine rush from it. I mostly swim and cycle, the gym and other sports are painfully boring to me
I am not here for information, but to help those who are seeking answers and help! Not too long ago, I was deeply plunged into internet searches and videos in hopes of understanding WHY despite all my efforts, I could not lose weight! I have tried everything under the sun from the modest diets to the extreme and nothing worked. When I say extreme, I mean going for months and months on 200 to 500 calories and not losing a single pound! Not 1 pound. Now, if that sounds completely impossible to you then my comment was not meant for you! This is for those of you who know exactly what I am talking about, because you’ve been there or are currently experiencing this phenomenon. After a while, I could not find anymore motivation. After the ups and downs of my weight, only to end up where I started I thought my mind and body had gievn up. I just did not have it in me to exercise, even though I continued dieting. I used to search “low motivation” and “weight loss plateaus”. I even tried the reverse diet trick, only to be disappointed. After a very long time, I have uncovered the reasons I was unable to lose weight and that’s not to say I may not discover more reasons to my slow wright loss down the line. Anyways, I want to share some of the things I learned about myself and that I am currently getting corrected with medications. Maybe you might be experiencing these problems too or something similar? You just never know! Do what I did and keep asking questions until you discover what is wrong.
1. PCOS which caused a horomal imbalance amongst other things!
2. Severely deficient in vitamin D! Even though I was prescribed a mega dose vitamin D weekly, I had my levels checked a year later and the levels were exactly the same! So they changed the type of vitamin D prescribed, as well as the dosage and frequency and I feel like a different person. I feel normal, motivated and energetic. I had become so used to feeling tired and fatigued that I did not even know something was wrong, because it became my normal! But nothing is normal about an absence of motivation and energy!
3. Depression, but I knew that already!
4. Severely Anemic (I don’t experience heavy bleeding, so my doctors are stumped) I get iron infusiomn every few months now to remain stable.
5. Metabolic Syndrome (hopefully this was caused by the hormonal imbalance and can be corrected).
Now obviously I’m a weird case (why me?) and I don’t expect anyone to be this screwed up. The only point I’m trying to get accross is that I had no idea all of these things was wrong with me, let alone preventing me from losing weight and attributing to symptoms I came to believe was normal, such as increased hunger, mood swings and insomnia. If you find it impossible to lose weight, there might just be a medical reason for it. By the way, I have lost 57.2 pounds in 3 and a half months. Good luck and never give up!
The reason why I choose to fuck off is because I have more interesting things to do that are less tedious.
Came here for a hw assignment left wanting to make changes in my life. Holy shit Joe Rogan is the Goat
Diet+exercise=losing weight. I mean I can do some exercise, the hard part is the diet one. Some say count your meal’s calories, avoid eating this and that, etc. But I don’t wanna live my whole life like that, I wanna eat some delicious cuisines and delicacies as I explore diff. places. I want to stay fit but I don’t want to restrict myself much and be conscious of my flabby arms, bloated stomach and belly fat plus the calves
Whoa, Democrats are triggered when you say hard work pays off and exercise is better for you than sitting on your butt and accepting yourself as a fat slob
Omg you said we go harder than food baby, I was waiting that time for ages!! Train us insane Cassey!!
Discomfort isn’t my issue. It’s time. I like going to the gym but it’s just time I want to spend doing other work
Wait, so which part was the best motivation part? He mentioned a variety of items at the end.
joe really just told me how to fix literally every problem in my life
That’s how i feel when I smoke weed no bs.. at the start when he’s explaining it.
Watching this after slipping off my workout routine and this has been so helpful. I am realizing that I am they’re of person that thinks of the pain before I workout and I feel like I’ve learned one of my triggers! Thank you!
Now, I should preface this by saying not to take too much stock in my comment as I am morbidly obese (26 yo, 6,5”, 260 lbs) But Videos like this are wild to me. I have never, not once, in my entire life had a positive experience working out and I’ve certainly never felt “good” after. I think people need to stop lying and say that working out is fun or makes you feel better when that simply isn’t true. Will it make me healthy? Maybe? Will it make me lose weight? Maybe. But don’t lie to my face and say it will make me feel like anything other than utter garbage after. It always has and always will. Working out is something people need to treat like going to the dentist or doctors. It won’t be mildly enjoyable in the slightest. But it is mandatory for health. Some people just can’t break the cycle. Some people just can’t find that motivation. And before you start shutting on me, save it. I already know trust me. Just decided to die on my own terms on my 30th birthday so don’t worry.
I would love to do ballet! I workout everyday before the kids wake up but ballet is so different, love it! I don’t have time to go outside to class though. Loved your video, as always!!!
I already kinda knew that.
I just needed to hear him say it.
I’ve just started doing homeworkouts. I’m two weeks in. I hope this goes on and get some results in a couple of months.
My sis just caught me watching this, and she said “You should stop watching, you’ll never have the motivation to train anyway”
Its insane how much working out has mentally enlightened me. Joe is 100% right. You feel invincible. You see things for what they are and you push through them.
I wonder if access to discipline is equally distributed. Like how social hierarchies are closely aligned with serotonin levels.
i hate to say it but rogan is an arrogant son of a gun along with being, I think, a misogynist.
Sometimes told me about a car now I know where it came from, you. The concept of the car influence my thinking greatly. You talk about discomfort being a friendship I think it could be. A friend sent me an email that really shocked me in what she said, my thinking how can you not know. As you say you are in charge of your car or your ecosystem make it work for you. I got the idea she does want to learn or get better. She does not live in a f dark world what can I say say more.
Oh my gosh, I do feel bad because grilled meat still smells so good. I thought it made me a bad vegan
Man not bad all videos 10K to 15K average views. Because of this video I did a 1 hour walk today, I’m committing to that today.
Let me guess is this where he convinces himself that being a gatekeeper is worth it
Great video and great words from Joe. But ‘aleves’ is NOT a word. The verb form of alleviate is alleviate.
i was bullied 2 years ago by these 8 guys
so i was really tired of them being dicks to me, saying im skinny and i have noodle arms
so i decided to make a change
i grew strong and i got a 6 pack to show off to girls (best part smh)
anyways, i switched schools for 2 years and when i came back to that school they didn’t recognise me
when they realised it was me i put the 2 meanest of them in a headlock and told them not to bully anyone again
the ‘nerds’ and other kids that normally got bullied were fine after and i even got invited to the popular group of kids, which were actually nice
thanks for reading my journey,
hope you can do the same for others
<3
a year after this video was posted i weighed 250 lbs as a 6’1 kid at 15 years old. i’m now 17 6’1 180 with mental stability my predecessor self could only dream of. thanks joe, jamie’s cool too
Thank you for your honesty. Your journey has been so inspiring to follow. I am truly excited for your successes. I love yours and Derek’s attitudes. Also, I have noticed how much more healthy you are looking. (Not saying that you looked bad before) You emanate wellness and confidence. You are doing a great service by being such a good example. Keep up the good work kiddo.
Coming here for the riddance of my overweight self, I’m 15 guys I’m about 140, I’m going to work hard and get hella better if you wanna see how I’m doing hmu on Discord Seynii#4167 ill show you guys a before and after
do you have any suggestions for someone who wants to get into yoga but has bad wrists?
Honestly my motivation to workout is showering. I want to sweat so much so that my shower can feel extra refreshing. It just hits differently
“I recommend this guide:

The artist in this video is left-handed and let me just say that as a left-handed person myself, I know the struggling of trying not to smudge especially on a whiteboard!!!!
Really liked the video, Arden! Resonated a lot with my thoughts/attitudes. I also started climbing because of these reasons you mentioned. Unfortunately I have difficulties getting into yoga practice since I am not flexible AT ALL and that’s why I give up so easily:/…. would love to see more videos about bouldering (your routine, warm up or sth) or yoga!:)
Motivation is P x E x S(3)
Purpose x Energy x Small Simple Step
LACKING any ONE of these will cause UNmotivated states
You need a purpose.. both painful and rewarding.. Who will be hurt if you fail, and who will be Happy if you win.
Energy… You need to eat right, and sleep, and exercise… you need to focus on having energy.. without it you will be UNmotivated
Small Simple Step… something you can do IN THE MOMENT, that gets you closer to the goal…
-Jim Quik.. the recent interview on Tom Bilyeus channel.
Go. Now.
I love excercise. I think it has something to do with the fact that for the last three years ive been really chronically ill and havent been able to even get out of bed most days. At the start of this year I found a cure. Now I value being able to excercise so much more. You dont know what you have untill its gone. I love being able to move my body everyday!!!!
This is really inspirational and applies to be a lot and I know I can change myself
I am starting my workout and transformation journey from now..And let’s see how long I can be consistent..Good lock to me..
Ring fit adventure for the Switch. I love it!
It’s fun, it encourages you, gives good advice about posture and health in general, it distracts, it tracks what you do and when and it asks you to take a break in between so you won’t overdo it.
It makes me sweaty and tired and I feel my muscles the next day.
Discovering that the option to “Fuck Off” is something that i’m giving into is a great conscious realization. This is the most important thing i’m taking away from today
This video just summed up my 6 years and $30,000 of self help and life improvement courses. My step mother is fuming
it’s one hour out of my day. and I just remembered i forgot to do my push ups lol
Hannah thank you for this honest account, you inspire me to keep trying. You so right when your family all have Sunday breakfast and the smells of how you use to eat!! And your family saying gone one just a bacon sandwich won’t hurt!!! And the excessive thing I have joined a gym, it’s so expensive £90 a month and I have been twice since last Oct,2015! All that money wasted. I am a busy mum and find it hard as also at university too,so it’s really hard and I just want to get fit,and feel it’s never going to happen!,
I watch YouTube videos while I workout! Still tend to hate the workout…but at least I can catch up on youtube
We are of e same age and all I want is having my own place. Feels as Thou I can’t live my life without a place of my own.
aleves stress? I’m not even an english native but even I know that doesn’t exist haha
If I’m honest, motivation can only get you so far. Don’t be motivated, be Obsessed -Arnold
Feel like the best motivation is just to watch hajime no ippo
Dude I went from 356 the highest I ever weighed to 260, quit going to the gym because I got comfortable. Gained some of it back now with this quarantined. I need to motivate myself back to the grind man. Anyone out their struggling just know you CAN DO IT. CONSISTENCY is the key we should all look for
This video is pure gold another prove of how awesome this guy is
Hi Meghan! On instagram you mentioned to comment different exercises we enjoy. I would agree with walking and hiking (so much fun especially with others!). By myself I enjoy the spin bike and yoga as well. I liked that your tips are practical. I always try to come up with a crazy workout schedule of working out for like an hour a day…and it never lasts even a week lol
He looks like hell. I don’t trust his workout nor dietary recommendations.
This was less about motivation and more about habit.
Habit beats motivation any day of the week. Motivation requires constant effort to maintain whereas habit fuels itself.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm049Ggp0uc&t=52s great eminem workout wideo
I think most of us have a habit which we see as being quite easy to progress with but others don’t. I struggle to get out there and feel motivated to exercise but I pick up the guitar and play to relieve stress and learn more because I enjoy it. And it’s because of guitar that I can have faith that it’s possible to do the same with exercise… the same with a language… the same with sitting at my desk to work. A habit is something which simply benefits you without mental resistance. Something which you do every day because your enjoyment from it is more powerful than the pain you may find in it.
i can’t get rid of the eating disorder mindset: exercise as much as you can everyday ; it is worthless if you work out and not lose weight ;
I exercise a lot lol! I’m a horseback rider and Tap dancer and it just feels great to move my body!!!
I failed even at the first step. I even get way too tired from sex, no activity I’d like
I’m very into fitness but I’ve been so busy I literally haven’t worked out for 2 months…. yikes.
A way I get back into working out is doing simple things at first like one day of just stretching or doing yoga and I like to dance so I’ll ease into it by dancing and warming up my muscles a bit before actually doing a workout or going to a class like Pilates
I always see exercise as a chore or almost punishment for eating the cookies, I’ve never thought about it as a time to catch up on a podcast or listen to a new album, I love audiobooks too and could put any of those on while doing a short yoga workout. It’s so strange that I make time for everything else in my life including returning that stupid rice cooker that didn’t work but not unrolling my mat and doing yoga for a half hour. I continue to appreciate how much I learn from people both older and in this case younger than me, thanks for giving me some new ways to think about exercise.
I just need more self love and compassion, and I’m thankfully for your kindness,
I ate a chocolate cupcake and some galaxy chcolate with cookie crumbles v nice I promise i’ll start tommorrow! great video
Made to Move! Love that! I need to make that my mantra! YOU ARE MADE TO MOVE! SO DO IT ALREADY!!! 😉
Alright, Fuck it! where´s the bar…i´m doing squats right now….
I take ballet, tap and jazz classes because they don’t feel like exercise! Great tips, especially to take it slow. I’d also add going somewhere that encourages and welcomes all shapes and sizes. If you feel encouraged and not judged you’ll want to go rather than making yourself do it.
bruh these are just the words of someone who’s already into working out
Exercising always felt like a chore to me but recently I’ve really got in to exercise. I feel like you need to find exercises that work for you and you need to do testing for what you like. Once I found exercises I liked it was so rewarding and when you have a goal and when you get it, it makes you want to reach further. You just need to do it, don’t say oh I’ll start tomorrow, start today.
What type of ballet slippers are you wearing? They make your foot look so pretty!!! Thanks!!!
I love your channel. You have such a peaceful spirit and it shines through in your videos. Your video quality is excellent and aesthetically pleasing. You also give really easy, simple tips without over-complicating things. I really enjoy your approach to life. People glorify being busy, but I love simplicity in life. Thanks for the encouragement and the wonderful content!
This is really useful! I am just starting to really love the gym now, as well as teaching yoga. I go because of how it makes me feel not how it makes me look:)
Love this video! Do you do videos at home for ballet? I would love do ballet at home.
Cassey, dear, you changed my life and I love to workout with you and I know that you’ve got a lot on your plate but I’m worried about all this boxes, is there any chance that in the future the packaging will be more eco-friendly? <3
Thank you for this video! Great motivation. What i needed to get me back on my journey. Im off to exercise now:)
this is superrrrr unrelated to the video but what lipstick are you wearing bc I love it
There is no “get fit”. Some people are born with better physical abilities than others, some people can lift weights and eat copious amounts of chicken for decades, and they still won’t be as big as Arnold Schwarzenegger or Kai Greene when they were in their early 20’s.
With the days getting shorter, it’s getting tougher to be active, so these tips came at the perfect time! ❤️ thanks girly!
Huh that’s weird because I actually enjoy sweating when I’m running or working out makes me feel like him working harder
wouldn’t believe how much walking, running or even the skipping rope can help with mental health!!
I’ve slacked on my fitness for a few months now and I want to get back in the routine again. This video came at a perfect timing!
It sounds silly, but I put a star sticker on the calendar every time I go to the gym. Seeing lots of stars makes me happy and motivates me to keep going.
Good to know im not the only one who is having a hard time during transition
I’m a very active person and often get asked how can I exercise so much, and my best tip has always been to find something you love and look forward to do everyday:) whenever they say “I don’t like exercising” I tell them they just haven’t tried the many different activities there are. Some expect they need to do something super intense, but sometimes, if yoga or pilates is what keeps you moving your body, then that’s what’s best for you.

It is so funny to hear you say how much your butt hurt and just how it hurt in general for the first while riding. Lmao I used to only bike before I got a car and now when I try to jump back into it I feel the same way.
I want to be one those women, who enjoy going to the gym or love running
I enjoy running, swimming and walking my dog. I’m also planning to learn to horse ride next year.:-)
You and your videos have made me feel good for so many years. Especially tonight. I love you!
Finding an activity that I like has been the key for me too. Since I started doing yoga I’m really motivated to work out at home and I feel really proud of that. Yoga challenges me but also makes me feel relaxed and happy. And on some days, like today, I go on a run outside, I also really enjoy that
What is it with these arseholes that feel it’s acceptable to keep swearing, it’s dreadful and totally unnecessary??
I’m on the site but don’t see the planner. Did they sell out?
maybe you should think of sorting out your thoughts and present them in a more concise and palatable way….
Been going to the gym for over a year. I hate working out. I never liked it ever and I hate is so much everytime i go
How do you train your brain to crave healthy food?I always wanna exercise but then my craving get the best of me.I always eat my way through a work out.For example I do in our exercise video and then I crave chocolate cake and the calories that I burned I then replace them with the chocolate cake
I’ve always wanted to be a runner but because of how big my boobs are the back pain is just too much stress to be able to run for a long time.
I used to try and force myself to go to the gym after work, and it just never really worked for me. This year, I decided to try and do it in the morning before work. It’s hard, but I am so much more consistent than I used to be. I was also able to hire a trainer to help me put together a workout program and now that I’m lifting weights, I love it! And I feel so much better now that I’m working out consistently. It sounds stupid, but being consistent has helped motivate me to be consistent. I know that doesn’t make sense, but it’s the best way I can explain it.
I personally am the opposite how I learned to hate exercise for real. To each their own.
Doing what I love outdoor walks and indoor walks like Gina B “Torch those calories with this 20 Minute HIIT Walk” and her “Power Walk The Pounds Off 80s Style” here on YouTube as well as Leslie Sansone walks! Also writing what i want to do for the week or a weekly routine in a notebook.
Love your channel and videos!
This is the beesssst advice! When i started doing strength training i was faking the fact thzt i loved it and i went back to doing nothing and i had gained muscle AND fat, so i decided to do only cardio bc i initially liked it better, but to do it 5 times a week i have to force myself every single day and now i do it everyday and i definitely enjoy it more and more
This video is so incredibly helpful. I definitely need to think positive and convince myself that I can do this. Thanks girl friend.
You are so awesome to share your experiences with us, thank you!! <3
Sometimes its also about finding the TYPE of exercise you like the best. I do not like cardio/running etc. But i really like to lift weights and have been lifting for 6-7 months straight now. I also love anything dance based, so Zumba is fun for me……… but other people dont like dance because they have two left feet but LOVE to run 5 miles every day.:)
oh my god dude a FITNESS PLANNER??? I need this! and the art is sooooo gorgeous
The eating thing I had to do to live! I have acute pancreatitis and celiac. So thank goodness I found you because I was able to eat a high carb low fat diet to feel much much better a year later. So in a way I had to force myself to eat this way or go to the hospital again. So I understand what you are saying that you have to force yourself to make changes. So thank you for bringing that to the forefront of my mind when it comes to exercising. I hate exercising! I have it my head that since I deliver the mail that that is exercise enough. Uh no it’s not. I am about 40 pounds overweight. I have come to the realization that you need to eat healthy AND exercise. You just can’t do one or the other. So I am going to make myself exercise each day, not overly do it but walk for 30 minutes a day to start. I have always wanted to do that but have made every excuse under the sun. So thank you Hannah for bringing that to the forefront of my thought process. Your an inspiration! Congratulations by the way on your beautiful house! I got emotional cause I followed you from the time you both said that you wanted a tiny house and now look you both accomplished your goal.
As a child I was very active and tried different sports, but when I turned 11/12 I just stopped with everything and became a huge coach potato. At 17 I was so out of chape I couldn’t even do one push-up and I couldn’t run for more than 3 minutes at a time! But then I discovered yoga and I’m doing at every day and look forward to doing it and improving. I know can do poses I never would have imagined I’d be able to do!
If you hate eating healthy food, just put hot sauce on it lol hot sauce makes everything taste good.
This is the most useful and healthy “health and fitness journey” video u have ever watched. It was really changed my mindset for the better. Thank you so much! ❤️
Aww this was so inspiring. It’s really all about mindset:) <3
when i hearing word “force” its stopping me even listen right there! But I’m glad for you!
hi you should start a podcast I’d actually listen to you for days!!
Thank you for sharing your experiences and journey with all of us and putting yourself out there. I love all your videos and you are so inspirational. It is so refreshing to see someone on YouTube who is so real and sets an honest example of life. You have truly helped me and thank you for that.:)
Okay, but why did you have to drag me for having the exact same mindset where working out was punishment for not looking a certain way at the beginning of this??? But really, this helped a lot as another woman in her 20s who is still trying to make working out something genuinely enjoy because it helps with mental space
i love not having a car/riding a bike, it’s funny how people think they’re better than me cause they can rev an engine. a grandma can press a pedal down as well as a bodybuilder
I hated to exercise. the way I learned to love it is I just didn’t bitch and just played heavy metal and did vigorous workout every day. the trick is to not say no, you just suck the fuck up and just DO IT. Don’t make an excuse, when you have time, use that and do a push up, do some sit-ups, buy some weights. the killer to people who want to do exercise is thing pessimistic and telling yourself “I’ll do it later”. try to get into the hobby of eating meats. try a calorie count to get you started there are apps out there to help you.
Truth! We’re our worse enemy. Do It!
Do it! Everyone force yourself to think positive within 10 sec fuk the negative thoughts.
Hi Hannah, I ran the treadmill for 20 mins and the elptical for 5 mins, the first time in 1 year! I’m forcing myself!:) also joined the vegan club and I can say my stomach and digestive tract is releasing all the bad stuff I ate. so I am super stoked for the journey to come.
I’m going to give this a go. I was given 12-14 months to live in February, because of a grade IV glioblastoma brain tumor. I don’t know if I’ll fall into the 75% who don’t live longer than a year. The odds are against me, but that 25% has to filled with those who didn’t. I’m going to get in as good shape I’ve ever been, with however much time I have left.
And what Joe Rogan says is true. Whichever route you take, slacker or doer, your brain rewards you either way. Only the healthy route is free of guilt and remorse that come with letting your body go to shit. I’m nearly 20 lbs overweight. I’m confident that I can complete some of these 30 day challenges, and get into shape.
Thanks, Joe Rogan.
I’ve workout for a whole year, lost a ton of weight and I still absolutely hate working out. Just saying.
I miss working out. I fell out of it because work caused a lot of bad migraines that left me incapable of even moving after work without being on some kind of medicine that made me feel sick. Im hoping i can do your 2020 challenge
I’m setting a goal for May, 20 mins minimum exercise a day.. I know it’s gonna be hard to do some days but I loved your tips to just tell your self you love it until you do:)
Gym membership are expensive Gym is making me tired i lose my strength to work in my ofc throughout and eve workout is disturbing my morning routine i couldnt even open eyes on time tired in morning AnYTips?
I drove up Mt Lemmon on vacation 2 weeks ago I didn`t expect to see people on bikes at 8,000 feet lol.
You are such an inspiration! Even though I have kept up a bit in martial arts, I feel so unfit! I’m at a point where I have to force myself to exercise, having recently put on 14 lbs!!! I have been on my bike twice this week, mostly because of you!! Did you start on a road bike? Or did you start riding a regular bike? How well did you adjust? Thank you and God Bless!!!
Thanks for this video. Your advice doesn’t only apply to working out, but it can apply to other parts of life if you’re ever feeling discouraged, which I needed to hear right now. Thank you so much
I want to ride again now. I had the opposite happen I was getting weaker and able to ride less and less, until I gave up. Turns out I had a thyroid autoimmune disease. Now I’m getting better and taking medication for it, I should fix my bike up and start riding to the end of the street and back, until I feel strong enough to go further like you. It’s just so psychologically difficult to do anything like that when last time your progress went backwards, but this video is a good reminder of what it’s like when things are working right.
It’s funny. You were a couch potato until you started eating more potatoes.
Because of y’all, I got the book The Magic. I’m on day 5 & it’s great! Thanx for these stories & motivating videos!
I really appreciate this video!! I’ve been kind of falling off of being vegan and it’s been tough this past month to stay motivated. I will definitely take your experience and advice:-)
You have saved me in so many ways, I really needed this video
how about you get off easy money ytbe and go ranch with some real women… you wont sound so annoyin…
I took yours and Derek’s advice about exercise a fee months back and it changed everything. I have to do a video on this! Really liked this content your are doing great!
Nice casual motivating video. I’m a new vegan and enjoyed watching. Not sure how what anyone could dislike about this video. Thanks HCH
I get home from school, take the dogs potty, read/homework and play Just Dance 4 or 2014:3
thank you so much for posting this valuable information. i remember decades ago, I forced myself to do calisthenics every morning and evening. I lost weight and inches, and after a few weeks, I looked forward to doing it every day. But one day, I just didn’t do them, and of course you can guess what happened. I forgot to do them so many days in a row that many more decades went by and many more pounds crept up. so with your PUSH, I will do calisthenics today, and force myself to do them…until i like them. By the way, I really love your new banner. the little bike is so cute.
Im just watching this to see if this will motivate me to work out… for the first time in my life…
I think one of the most important things if your new to exercising is to try a lot of different activities to find one that you really like. You should also try to figure out why you don’t like certain activities (to make it easier to find the right one).
Do you think it’s boring do run? Is it because you don’t like working out alone? Maybe find a friend to go running with. Or maybe there is a soccer or hockey team in your area that you could play with. Maybe you like dancing or zumba, but never go to the gym because you’re not comfortable with group workouts? Get a nice dvd you can follow at home. Like lifting weights but are intimidated by the huge muscular guys at the gym? Get a barbell and adjustable weights so you can work those muscles at home. Did you like climbing trees as a kid? Maybe you’ll like rock climbing.
The possibilities are endless. You just have to find the right one for you. And when you find something you enjoy, keep doing it even if it’s hard. Just remember that it does get easier with time, and you’ll most likely enjoy it even more as you grow stronger.
When it’s already May in 2020 so you have to wait until next year
love you hannah-thanks for keeping it real. would love to meet you one day. inspiration.
when you got the the part about liking to shop for healthy food and making healthy food and eating healthy food I was “YEESS!!! I love those things”, but then all I can think about is I stuck with it for about three weeks and the dishes piled and the chores piled and I had all these leftovers from food that my kids wouldn’t eat. I want that healthy great life SO bad but with three kids two full time jobs and a house to care for and bills and yada yada yada it becomes so overwhelming.
standard person thinking of someday I’ll be less tired and have time and energy to be the way I want but I just need to kick myself into it.
think positively as you said.
Great motivation Hannah. I definitely realised that I try and talk my way out of working harder so working at 60% rather than 80 or 90 on a workout but now I’m pushing myself more to reach my goal and it feels amazing. I’m more energized and I see way more of a progression in my fitness.
Me and my friends do climbing (outside) and it is so fun. But I found myself really hurting my self-esteem doing it because all my friends are so strong and active and they love sports and I don’t. So when I did a 5A (V2) and didn’t finish it when everyone else did it made me feel like shit. But I really like climbing, I love the outing and activity and I need to learn to not compare myself to others because they’ve been working out all their life. I also really love yoga, I feel like yoga, as well as dance, are two workouts that make me feel so good and so empowered after. <3
Yes yes yes! I have learned to love it so much too, but for me it is weight lifting. I love getting strong! I think finding your exercise is really important. And know you might not like it at first, give it a fair shot!
I have been hit on the highways by a motorcycle while i was cycling and I’ve been so scared because I don’t have anyone with me if something ever happens, then I started back cycling since my friend forced me to and everything went more enjoyable so my tip is that get a cycling friend!:)
Im trying to muster up the courage to bike more in LA. I live in the valley and it is legitimately scary to ride bikes here. No bike lanes and insane drivers. I used to bike around 20-25 miles a day before i moved here and I miss it so much. Im biking to vegfest here in LA this sunday and its 10 miles so im excited but also nervous haha
I was a gymnast for the majority of my life, and we definitely purged. I associated exercise outside of practice with losing weight, too, and did not find my own exercise I enjoyed until college!
I love rock climbing and dancing now.:)
YES, I agree with everything you said! You’ve also really motivated me to push myself further with by cycling endeavors even though I have no mountain to climb up:(
Good point about the neural pathways and creating new habits =)
this video inspired me to go for a run. me and my slightly large labrador enjoyed it a lot:)
hannah, you are amazing! thanks to you, i have been cycling between 10-20km per day for about a month now and i am feeling incredible. you bring such positivity and accessibility to the vegan movement.
Whats up with all the positive, encouraging comments? Can someone please say something negative.
Watched this while I was at the gym for the first time in 6 months (and now at my heaviest weight) I got so much motivation to push through from your video and feel so good now and determined to start to love exercise. Thanks Hannah ❤️
I’m not gonna cut my bangs. I’m not gonna cut my bangs. I’m not gonna cut my bangs.
I want that planner but I guess it’s not available anymore
Guys this is so true. I have been working out from last 2 months i take break only on my periods that to only on 1st nd last day & It became a habit so when i take breaks my day feels so incomplete..during my exercise i watch Netflix, YouTube etc & its a best distraction
It’s hard work at first but consistency has worked for me, working out is a privilege now, not a chore!
Daily Yoga to reduce stress tricked me into working out everyday
You’re honestly my inspiration. You’ve helped me with my eating habits and life in general soooo much. I came very close to having an eating disorder (binge eating) and you helped pull me out. I’m still having a hard time and haven’t lost any weight but I hope to be able to comment in like 6 months and say that I’ve created better habits and stopped binging! (And hopefully loose weight to, but I’ve decided to focus on my health more then the scale, thanks to you!)
Hey Hannah, absolutely loved this video. I agree with you that sometimes you need to break a certain pattern to make yourself healthier and happier. But I don’t know, some people can’t do this all at once. I think sometimes you don’t have to force yourself and do something that you love like volleyball, soccer or whatever:) All small steps help
I have one.
It is gonna work for 20% of people
Here
Feel fat then look at other thin people it works for me.
Im like SANAOL (filipino)
Then i sudennly had the motivation to try teh look like them
lol weight training also means pushing yourself mentally. just because it didn’t feel that way for you doesn’t mean it doesn’t mean something different to someone else
I wish you can do a 30 days Weight gain challenge watching from the PH
I really would love to buy this planner, will you release something similar in 2021? It looks amazing & so beneficial!
Are these fit planners still available? I know it’s now April but I have only just can’t across your channel! Love your video, thanks!
I don’t feel very motivated after a buff dude called me lazy, stupid and fat…
Showed up for help. Left with a woman trying to sell her product I don’t want
Coming back to this video 3 months into the year…. I just want to say, using this journal has 100% helped me to stay on track and keep me accountable. Writing my goals down has definitely helped me keep on top of them. Without the journal I would have given up in February (since it wasn’t a great month for me progress wise), but I’m back in March still going strong.
I’ve been with you since 2014 and am so glad I’ve come back cuz ya kill me and push me. Love it just wish there were more weighted vids
Cassey pleaaaaase restock the planner:( I know it’s feb 2020 as I write this but I want this so bad!!!!!!!
will there be more planner? it’s out of stock atm. i really want one but i dont know if i should just buy one off amazon or wait for it to be restock but idk when that will happen.
I forgot about my bike, I’m going to ride it more, thanks for reminding me!
awesome video, one of the best ive seen:D i love exercise too. and you’re right, it comes from forming the habit! i hope your video inspires others and i hope u get to the top of the mountain and more!:D
I have been vegan since 1980 for the ONLY reasons that matter: to prevent the forced rape/breeding/confinement/torture/murder of a dozen cows & a hundred chickens & a hundred pigs had I not been vegan, and to reduce CO2 emissions. Whatever benefit for my health by being vegan is trivial compared to these 2 reasons.
I just started my plant based lifestyle 2 days ago and already feel 10x better! The fatigue is gone and I have more energy. My problem is my stomach hurts. Does anyone know if this is normal? I’m not allergic to any foods.
Whenever I’m stressed I start working out…. Therapy for the body ♀️
1Find an activity you love;
2Exercise with someone;
3Start slow;
4Make it a habit;
5You’re made to move.
Habits works!
I need my workouts in at about same time otherwise i get into trouble….
I would love to buy this and use it but its just to expensive
I’m at the same point as you Hannah with my cycling. I hate hills but I am trying to conquer them. Last week I had to get off my bike and push it up a couple of the hills that were too steep. Keep going with it and you’ll eventually get there, make sure you record that moment when you do it.
That’s the most beautiful planner you’ve made yet! Omg!!!! Its gorg!!!
idk how i did it but i want to go on a run at random point of the day
I really love this planner, but can u make it in a digital version for those who want to go paperless?!!!
Sometimes I really want to work out but I don’t! I am going to try doing one video of yours every day for 30 days to see what happens.
I think squatting 100+ pounds while watching TV wouldn’t help
OMG I REMEMBER EXTREME ABS! It’s the first video I ever did! (dont no how that did not scare me off.. lol). Good to have you back Cassey. Just bought the planner <3 <3 <3
I just started binge watching this today. I watched the dancing video with rosanna pansino, rebecca zamolo, and the merrel twins. all i want to do right now is put on my black heels!
when i haven’t worked out for a while i do PIIT28 but only 2 rounds for the whole 28 days, then I repeat it with 4. if i jumped straight into 4 rounds i would only last about a week before i ended up feeling overwhelmed and give up. ☺️
Cassey I just purchased my motivational pack I got the box but I didn’t get the box in the box the one to ur left in this video that flaps open
My motivation is that working out makes me feel happier and more satisfied. It is also a reasonable way to escape from school work, especially in the exam season when I’m stressed all the time so after working out, I feel so much better to go back to studying
your planner is literally so perfect. you did an amazing job on it!! If I bought this, i actually would be excited to work out! I’m going to to try to get this for my mom because shes been trying to get into shape for the longest time
It took me a while to order my ultimate fit kit 2020, but I was finally able to and I recieved it today!! I’m so excited! ❤❤ The packaging is so beautiful girl! Amazing job on this, I can’t wait to get started, fill it up, and check out what you’ll have in store for us for years to come! We love you to the moon and back! Thank you for the endless motivation and awesome videos ❤❤
I’ve been looking for a good planner for ages, and this is it. Just ordered one, I’m so excited to get it!
My planner arrived! I’m so excited to start using it!
I don’t like morning workout, so I choose workout on afternoon
I ligit just got a planner
So I’m just asking are you coming out with a 2021 planner I know it’s early but I just really want this planner and it looks so cute so is you are could you let me know?
I can eat restrictive diets easily-not that I do. Working out-causes anxiety daily.
I wanna get it so bad…but my parents would never pay 39$ for something I may lose
☹
love this video! I also love excersising, wether it is in form of walking, running, sport, swimming etc. my faverouite is lifting weights actually. I love the feeling it gives me, a feeling of endorphines, feeling strong and better about myself! it really gives me a positive mood, as well as other activites. being active is definetly a must for over-all joy and happiness!
This is exactly what I needed to hear, exactly when I needed to hear it. Thank you!
Super motivating video! By getting out of our comfort zone, we can push ourselves to be better and live full out!
Meeeeee with crossfit!so many years of running as a punishment and now i feel so powerful lifting weights
Tried purchase planner. Couldn’t find it on website link you provided.
I neeeed to know where these earrings are from, so gorgeous. I also neeeed to take this great advice and get my body moving again. It’s been a hot minute!
i do exercise for 3 years, and still hate it. i want to love it.
I like the whole treadmill and Netflix show hack, I’m definitely gonna try that tomorrow with a 45 minute show. Wish me luck
Omg! How pretty can you be? Please stop I’m so jelaous! You are prettier and prettier every day!
Loved this video. That planner is SOOO cute. It seems like it would be really motivating to use! I love the layout with the weekly spread. ️♀️♀️♀️
Whenever I don’t want to work out or don’t have much time to prep my workout (like changing my clothes, placing the mat, etc.) I do the choreography of Genie from Girls Generation… because it’s the easiest but still gets you moving:3
Guys we should all be thankful for cassies amazing work she puts into her videos, cassie thank you for being such a sweet nice person i love your videos and find your workouts motivational and more fun to do because it feels like you are here for us when your working out
So totally using the box as a memory keep sake box. Pictures, movies stubs, cute notes and so on. Something to look back on at the end of the year! ❤ Love the planner! Can’t wait to order mine. Now just to choose planner alone or whole bundle! Hmmmm…. More The Merrier, that’s how the saying goes right?!?
i have the 2020 fit planner and i LOVE it! So worth it, it has made me so motivated.
I’ve been buying these fitness planners since 2015 I am so excited about having boxes to keep them in. I have enjoyed my fitness journey and i love being able to watch my progress over the years! Thanks cassey
Hey guys I’m a 15 year old girl and I weigh a really unhealthy weight which is really unhealthy so I was wondering if I started a YouTube channel doing workouts and trying out challenges and other stuff would any of you watch because I’ve seen a few comments saying how it would be cool if they seen a beginner and more bigger person working out because we would all be in the same boat and we can all help each other out? Reply below and let me know x
Keep your box and make it to a achievement box. Save small memories or notes when of your achievements or even the small steps you make towards your goal. When you feel down, useless or anything like that take it out and look through it.
Finally someone who shares a common perspective on exercising! The way we perceive exercise is key to making a healthy lifestyle sustainable! A goal orientated view of exercise always makes me dread exercise and make it feel like work. Still trying to understand what bring joy to me, and how it can be achieved through workouts!
Unpopular statement: Yoga makes me extremely dizzy. Even the easy going motions of going from one move to another. Please tell me I’m not the only one or maybe if anyone has some tips to help with that please let me know.:)
I love your voice, idk why but it makes your videos easier to watch without getting bored fast. This vid motivates me to lose the weight and try tons of different physical activities.
As someone who never ran a full mile before 30 and now, two years after starting, runs on average 10km a day, I totally relate to what Rogan is saying.
This video feels like she’s directly talking to me. Not like I’m watching a video. More of a friend giving advice
Bruh, these actually made a lot of sense. Thanks boo! Can’t wait to use these hacks
Nothing gets me more exercise (and fun!) than playing with nieces and nephews! They LOVE running around, jumping rope, and being picked up (especially during strenuous hikeswho needs a rucksack when you’ve got a toddler?) Haha
Best video! Thank you Hannah for sharing your thoughts and being so real.
Omg, loving that someone else knows about Yoga with Adriene. The ultimate hidden gem. The tex-Zen goddess herself.
Lady, self-love and sustainable brands love this vibe, love your work
I’ve always wanted to work out but I don’t need to loose weight…I would like to gain some weight and stay healthy. But I have no idea where to start…I bought a bike a month ago and I want to start riding more and get back into yoga and maybe some weight lifting
I know it’s a bit off the topic but your eye makeup looks stunning! Do you consider doing a GRWM? Please do
i loooove running outside but live in London where 70% of the time the weather is so crap like today ugh, so i deffo need to find something else i enjoy as much…
I love these videos SOOOOO much! You have helped so much Hannah, thank you. You are a beautiful person <3
Does anyone else get twitchy when she says holographic gold? IT’S NOT HOLO!! Cristine would be horrified.
I hate the way cuntservative crybabies whine about fat people or people who don’t like to exercise not exercising. I hate their arrogance & smugness, pretending they are “better” than fat people.
Wow I’m less than 5 mins in and what you’ve said on reframing my mindset has blown my mind
I’m going to try and view exercise as more of a treat for my body and as an experience as opposed to something to tick off the weekly to do ty Arden
YAS Girl! You should do videos where you try different types of working out! Variety is key:)
Hannah, thank you so much for being candid and sharing your journey to fitness. Hearing it from someone who is actually experiencing it in the moment is way different than watching someone who is already fit. When you say hey I’m not as fit as I want to be but here is how I am getting there, it is seriously so much more motivational and so much more relatable. I’ve been vegan for over 2 years, but have gained like 10 lbs in the past 6 months. I’m graduating university in a week and am completely dedicating this summer to making and keeping healthy habits! Thank you so much for everything:) <3 xo Nicole
I love yoga simply for how accessible and versatile it is! I’m so glad more people are finding it as a way of being active, but also for benefiting mental health.
Yes I love this! Such a good reminder. Time to get back to the boxing gym
Yeah!! I needed to see this video, I have been thinking about this for so long. I have dived into yoga and love what I am learning as far as that goes, but I have been wanting more. I want to see more muscle and tone but it makes me anxious to go lift weights in a gym. Here’s to me figuring out my own formula in what works for me. Thanks so much for sharing your perspective.
Lot of beautiful content in this! Thanks for sharing, Arden. Bless!
I love that you feel comfortable enough on your own channel and with your fans to stick your fingers in your nose while talking. Like… Get me on that level, you are YouTube goals Inspiring vid btw. I’ve been wanting this kind of topic from you FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!
i literally dont understand how i haven’t seen a single one of your videos until now???? i love ur energy u give me big smiles:)))
Just subscribed to Yoga with Adriene. I’ve been wanting to start doing yoga but I’ve also made up soooooo many excuses to not do it.
I think I’m just gonna look for a beginner’s video, and do it right after this video ends. i feel so motivated now
I want to roller skate. It’s always seemed like such a fun way to exercise and I would feel super cute skating around in my lil high waisted shorts and knee pads. Plus there’s the element of roller derby. Roller derby girls have always seemed to exude peak badass energy to me plus they ignite my hella bi-bess but ya know. So there, I want to roller skate. I am putting it out into the universe! Thanks Arden!
Okay I was already considering getting back into working out but this video legit convinced me to actually do it!
Also yess LOVE yoga with Adrienne UGH
I’ve always wanted to try rock climbing, it’s just not very accessible for me since I’m still in high school and don’t have much money or my own car
Those old folk who had great body’s and who clearly have incredible strength was amazing! Show’s how it’s a weak mind that creates a weak body. People listen to the comfort part of their mind too much, and as a result, when their health starts to fail them it’s the classic weak minded response covered in this video.. “it’s inevitable” or “it’s just old age”.. NO! You just got lazy and weak, end of
but for me I’ve been exercising straight for months and actually seeing results which I like but sometimes I just get hit with like I dont want to workout everyday or i just get bored. Yes I workout different parts of my body different days but I just get bored.
This video needs to go viral SO SO GOOD. All girls need to watch this. thank you for this.
You are lovely and every time you make a video all I can think is “I can’t wait til she makes another video!” ☺️
I really want to get more in skateboarding, yoga and pole dancing ♡
omg i saw this video too late the fitness trakcer planner looks so cute i hope there will be one for 2021! ❤️
Please if your having problems be it ANXIETY, DRUGS, OR WHATEVER! THIS WILL HELP U I PROMISE! SOAK THIS SHIT IN!
I just don’t think I’m the kind of person who will ever be a “gym rat” lol. I grew up running cross country and track, hiking, biking. But, I never went to the gym and used an elliptical or lifted 5 pound weights. I don’t think there is a problem with either side of exercise, but I too have an unhealthy idea that if I’ve not got a gym membership then I’m not ACTUALLY working out. Find what’s enjoyable for you that also gets you active. I think that’s all our bodies are begging us to do.
Are you and will going to get married? I think y’all would thrive!
Do a yoga video! I’ve been wanting to get into it and it would be really neat if u did a catalogue of ur fav poses and such. Or a routine???? Dope.
you spoke to my soul thank you arden. side note: I AM ALMOST FROM ARKANSAS IT’S WACK TO THINK THIS SUPER AWESOME GIRL IS FROM THE LITTLE ROCK AREA IT BLOWS MY MIND IF ARDEN CAN DO IT I CAN TOO
It’s weird, my friends consider me to be a healthy person because I don’t really eat junk food or fast food and I’m not over or under weight, but when I’m going up some stairs or usually 7 minutes in to working out, I can feel my heart pounding in my chest and I’m out of breath. I think having the stamina to workout for at least 30 minutes and to be able to run for the first in my life (I’ve always gotten cramps or out of breath) would make me feel powerful.:)
It feels amazing to find exercise that doesn’t really feel like exercise because it’s so fun!
Great points! I hate running and the monotony of a gym routine but I recently started doing ballet 3 times a week and not only is it a great work out, it’s fun and really mentally stimulating. You have to be really focused so it’s a great way to get away from the stresses of daily life.
Thanks for this video! I’ve been kind of on that brink of reframing my mind on exercise and this was definitely a boost!
This is really relatable! Thanks for posting this Arden. I’ve also found that when I go into the gym and cover up the distance/speed/caloric measure on the treadmill, it makes the exercise more about how I’m feeling in my body than me thinking “ugh, i need to turn the speed up I’m not going fast enough” or “I’m not burning enough calories, I need to do another 15 minutes.” And most times, I get a better/more effective work out in!
Boho Beautiful is my favorite YouTube yogi. because she posts classes that cater to what you’re in the mood for/ they all have a central theme and always follow through
I’ve always wanted to take ice/figure skating lessons but always thought it was something you had to get into at a younger age but found out that a ice rink does adult lessons and am so excited to start them soon!
LOVED THIS VIDEO! Realizing that all the tips you mention are why I love dancing, zumba, and why I’m thinking about doing pole!
I have always wanted to try kickboxing and pole dancing!! Hopefully I can this year:)
i was running today and thought about how working out or doing sports was never a punishment for me and how grateful i am for that. i love doing sports and always go for the fun element. thinking about it now sports is the only thing i do because it’s fun and will also switch around when it no longer is, which is something i need to cooperate into other parts of my life. after a depression period and not working out for a while i got back into it by challenging myself with yoga (bless you adrien you helped so much). then when that went well i was feeling more confident again and low and behold a new challenge came to me. i was going to run a 1/4 marathon (10.5km) i only had 9 weeks to train and it was hard but it really pushed me when i finished it was such a relieve and proud moment. thanks for this video it has me thinking:)
Arden I love you! You truly inspire me to find my own power and motivate myself for better!! I know I have the ability to get through anything, ahhh I love you! <3
Such a good video Arden! You really encapsulate why it is that I’ve been dreading and putting off working out… and while sometimes fun in the beginning it starts feeling like a chore again somehow along the line. Insightful (:
Great vid. So glad there is someone else like me who wasn’t born loving fitness and grew up being athletic, but is finally getting into fitness. I’m one month two of my fitness journey. I’ve worked out in the past for very short periods of time, then stopped for very long periods of time. I’m am also trying to create new habits, which include making fitness (training) part of my daily routine. I wish you the best in your fitness journey and I am looking forward to watching you achieve your goals.
this is awesome arden, i definitely am on a similar journey currently♥️ glad to see you’re thriving and workin on yourself
you should definitely try We Are Tala from GraceFitUK! It’s the best sustainable gym wear ever!
this video was so great!!!!!! I have very recently started jogging with a couch to 5k programme after a very long hiatus from running. in my teens I used alcohol in a similar way to control my body, and any positives i got from exercising was obscured by that unhealthy end goal. for the last couple of years i’ve done no physical exercise, which was a really important step for me in stabilising my mental health: stopping my unhealthy behaviours and allowing me space to do exactly what i wanted in the moment and build intuitive eating habits was what i needed. now i’m in a stronger place mentally, i’m returning to exercise so i can move my body and connect more with myself outside of my head. there’s things over the past few years like boxing and weights that i’ve loved and have made me feel POWERFUL (which i think is a fantastic focus) and i can’t wait to resume those:) thanks for making this video xxx
Please do a Yoga with Arden video! I’d be very interested in the different routines you have for intense workouts and also the calming before bed kind. Sending love.
Post! A! Climbing! Video! If! You! Haven’t! Already! I! Wanna! See! You! Climb! In! A! Non-! Creepy! Way! (I’m currently at the 7 month mark from when I started and want some tips or somethin’!)
This video is fine but exercise addiction is a real thing and often part of an eating disorder so maybe please consider changing this video’s title. I know you don’t want to/don’t try to promote unhealthy behaviors so this is just a heads up!
My favorite exercise is sleeping, i do it very regularly and i never get tired of it haha jk
This video is so fantastic and sparked maybe the only thought I’ve given to trying to exercise again. Since coming from a very similar toxic place with exercise, recovering from an ED in my late teens, I pretty much just stopped, even though I’ve been out of those woods for 4 years now. These are great tips and the way you talk about it is so real and compelling. Thank you!
I love this new perspective and outlook on working out I’m looking forward to trying new things and feeling more powerful
I want to start running but I’m scared of people judging me because they would see how slow and non experienced I am. I know it’s stupid but I’m still scared.
why am i starting to cry when she said we’re punishing ourselves after we eat something because i do that all the time
i loveeee the endorphins excercise gives… its addicting for some reason
Blogates this is dangerous people could ttick their brain into craving fitness so much it could severly hurt them
For anyone who has a really hard time working out, know that on a traditional 9-5 schedule, it’s much harder to maintain an exercise regime. Your most productive, inspired hours are spent at work. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Take the time to contextualize working out within your day and mindset.
I watched this entire video just to see the full size thumbnail and it wasn’t even in the video click bait
You should try swimming!! I made lap swimming my new years resolution in 2018 and I love love love it. So meditative and fun, and you feel powerful as heck in your swimsuit after a good swim!

Also need me one of those pins YASSS
you! are so inspiring and amazing, and it just took you under 15 minutes to verbalize everything about working out that I’ve wished I had the clarity to think through for years but could never quite get across to myself. The whole idea of reframing working out by taking “fitness” out of the equation in favor of the immediate reward of enjoying and rewarding yourself through physicality is such a simple and beautiful way to break down something so toxic.
I relate to this so much!!! Once I discovered a love for resistance training, making it a part of my routine became SO easy and now working out is hands down my favourite time of the day
I know I COULD love exercise, but I really want to focus on strength and I just don’t even know how or where to start with effective workouts
I recently started working out again after spraining my ankle a year and a half ago. Before the sprain, I loved running, had gotten my mile time down really low, and was super proud of myself. The sprain kind of made me lose the stride I had going. Now I’ve been getting into yoga this past month (with Adriene, actually), and want to start running again but I want to make sure my ankle is strong enough. I’m realizing it’s mostly a mental block because I’m scared of hurting my ankle, but it’s healed enough that it’s time to start building up its strength again.
I must be rare, I get up and immediately start working out! I’m not sure where i get the motivation from but i am more energetic in the morning!! also, i love ur videos Cassey!!
It’s always great to exercise, I forgot about that sometimes.
great video!you should try the rocky theme while trying to chop down a tree maybe it helps:)
