I bought a insulated metal water bottle for 14.99$ did a simple test of putting a giant ice cube in it. The ice didn’t melt for 2.5 days, who needs a hydro ��‍♀️

Never buying Kleen coz it develop bacteria inside the stainless steel. I went rei to switch and said it was my fault leaving in my car trunk.

Ok guys….so i bought a Yeti used it for two days before watching these videos saying the Ozarks are just as good. So i bought an ozark swapped lids with the yeti (so i could keep the maglock lid) And returned the Yeti……And…the Ozark DOES NOT perform even close to as well as the Yeti. In the Ozark my coffee went to room temp after 30-40 min, in the Yeti…2 hours and its still near as hot as when i put it in. These videos are very misleading.

Have a yeti and hydro flask prefer the yeti for cold it seems the best. Like them both though.

I know hydroflask offers a lifetime warranty for performance issues not cosmetic. That being said which one do you guys think are the most durable? I work at rei and have noticed the yeti and clean canteen seem to be heavier and maybe a bit more durable? I’m trying to decide which ones can handle more abuse for drops without denting?

Since I got my klean kanteen I have every lid for it and all work great and that was important to me because when I looked at that in hydroflask a lot of their kids were leaky and had bad reviews. Ever since I make sure all the impressionable freshman at my school trying to be trendy know that klean kanteen is better. Like if you wanna save the turtles go for the more eco friendly brand sweetie

I Own 3 yeti ramblers my girl has 2 hydro flasks both are great brands and have amazing products but my cup clearly a bit better with holding ice and taking abuse

Yeti for me only due to the ice retention. I work in a weld fab shop have cold ice all shift is key for me.

Yeti is one of the best. However, I got it for free. I would never get it for myself or anyone in real life. $50 for a freaking water bottle!!

how do you know yeti has a thicker material? Please give the specs of the thickness of each bottle

While the Yeti’s exposed mouthpiece design can be seen as a flaw, it’s actually more of a pro to me. The mouthpiece can’t be covered because the lid is convexed instead of concaved like the other bottles, which makes it way easier to clean.

Try boiling water and heating all three for 5 minutes first, pour water out and pour more boiling water in them. This method for using Stanley with hot beverages.

I think you should had do the temperature test same time or leave the lid on bottles until check the temperature. Cos when you check the temperature 1st one, other bottle temperature will be change. Maybe it’s only little bit, but it’s “test”. But it was good review and I got the yeti bottle:D

I’ll still stick to Stanley. They do have water bottles that have different texture that the one in the video. And can’t beat their lifetime warranty.

The coldest water bottle also does have “sports” designs in most of their sizes, so if one handed was important to you you could easily buy the sports version with the straw instead of the regular version with it’s twist off top.

Their coffee cup doesn’t keep tea or coffee hot long enough, but stanley tumbler does though!! you can get 9 hour of warmness out of their tumbler.

One of the biggest selling features to me is when the lip of the bottle (that will be in your mouth when drinking) is covered when the lid is on. I don’t want my bottle rolling around on a subway seat, or resting against my backpack that’s been dragged all over the world, and then I put that exposed piece of metal on my lips. The old Kleen Kanteen had a covered lip and in this video the Hydroflask is the only one that does.

I have the coldest water bottle and I don’t even use ice I just keep a gallon of water in the Fridge and fill the bottle and it stays cold just the same as the cold water in the fridge it’s amazing I just love it it’s great for bed time it stays just as cold till the next day I recommend it.

You should have recorded the temperatures beforehand of the cold/hot as your baseline. That way you can measure the difference in temperature from your baseline to be more accurate. But I would argue the results would be the same.

Stanley boasts a claim about actual firearms tho. Not sure how u feel about testing it, but it would make one hell of a video. If your worried about bullets bouncing off, don’t be. When a bullet hits any strong metal or ceramic, its stops in its tracks because the object takes on all of the force

Something is definitely wrong with their testing. If you follow the Link to the full analysis, the graphic shows that the Zojirushi somehow was able to make the water even colder over the night:D

i hate klean kanteen because the mouth part is not covered by the lid. Therefore, you are constantly getting germs into your mouth. So stay away from this bottle!!!!!

please consider talking about the internal welds/seams inside all of these heavy metal leachers

I have a 40 OZ bottle that stays cold for 35+ hours and it doesn’t have that annoying small hole. So hard to get ice it in. And it was only like $20 or $30

Yeti with the mag cap lid is dreamz I literally drink over a gallon of water everyday because of my Yeti so the $40 I spent on it was well worth it. You can’t go wrong with any of these options really����

I would have liked a DURABULTY TEST too. I’m Not a “BUY IT FOR THE LOOKS, AT ANY PRICE” kinda guy. (I think it’s kinda Goofy, and a little irresponsible, to spend that much for anything just for Looks.) I’m more of a “I’LL PAY A LITTLE MORE FOR ONE, AND USE IT FOREVER BECAUSE I KNOW IT WILL LAST” kinda guy.
How do those Lids hold up after dropping them on your patio, or down the cement steps leading to the front door, when you’re trying to carry to much stuff. We have Metal Grated steps at work, and mine have fallen down those steps.

Someone mentioned an old STANLEY THERMOS. I think you could run over those with a tractor, and they didn’t leak. (I don’t think they’re as good Anymore.)

If I had to guess, the coolest bottle looks bigger so it would retain temperature longer because of the higher volume of liquid
