I have all three. Here is my opinion based on general use. The Yeti with the Chug cap and is the one I use most of the time because it fits in my car cup holder. The Stanley is second because of the lid and Hydroflask last. Hydroflask may have moved to number one with its new flex sip lid which is perfect for drinking without taking off the lid.
My take ya water bottle hold hit up to 12hours and has a cheaper cost
I love my yeti. Not because of the name. I’ve had a hydroflask and have a yeti now, and Ice stays ice longer, keeps hot drinks hot longer. It’s a little more expensive but I feel you pay for what you get. Just my opinion.
Why do I hate VS videos that at then end tells you the winner is the one you like.
I know they’re not insulated, but no love for Nalgene around here? ok
i was gonna watch till i saw the unborn lives matter button
I had a friend who had slightly wider version of these water bottle and instead of water he would fill it with the fried rice his mom cooked every morning so his lunch is always hot
First u helped me find a matress. Now a water bottle. Thanks lol
maybe it is me, but it looks like the outerones are far more cold then the others, has this to do because they where on the oustide?
great video non the les
Ever since I got my nalgene two years ago, I’m never buying a different brand water bottle again.
so basically yeti for men, hydro flask for women, klean kanteen for affordability. got it thx.
i use nalgene for summer and an insulated helly hansen during winter
I would also say Klean Kanteen FTW. My husband got a Hydroflask and he’s very disappointed
The biggest issue with the coldest water bottle is the gasket in the cap. No matter how well you think you’re cleaning the bottle you can’t reach the gasket to clean it so it molds and turns gross. I love the bottle though!
Ive only bought Takeya bottles.. they are great for the price. Plus i love the lid.
I’m going to buy a hydro flask because of their awesome colours that they offer and the customer service!
I bought a insulated metal water bottle for 14.99$ did a simple test of putting a giant ice cube in it. The ice didn’t melt for 2.5 days, who needs a hydro ♀️
YETI always Hands down the best!!! you get what you pay for!!!
Im curious. What is the different between cheap bottle (15$-30$) and expensive bottle (45$ -60$)?
hahaha everybody wants to beat hydro hahaha this just means that hydro is TBE
I have an hydroflask but my mom got yetis n i think yeti keeps water colder
Hey guys try Hydroset water bottle I think it’s the best water bottle I’ve ever had
For me my hydro flask actually works and doesn’t spill as long as I close enough, also my drinks stay cold as they should be for me
I have a wide mouth 64oz single wall Klean Kanteen which I use for backpacking and is great for boiling water to cook or use to keep me warm in my sleeping bag. Great product
One of the most thorough and precise comparisons I’ve seen. Would love to have had a category in company ethics/mission. I feel it’s just as important to understand the purpose as it is the product. All in all top notch video.
The first test the hydro flask wasn’t fully closed, the ring was visible
Never buying Kleen coz it develop bacteria inside the stainless steel. I went rei to switch and said it was my fault leaving in my car trunk.
hydroflasks arent for cold water.
they’re for “and i oop sksksksksksk”
You will be pleased to know that the customer service for Klean Kanteen is super great.
Stainless Steel Water Bottle/Thermos:18-64 oz 8 colors Double Wall Vacuum Insulated:Wide Mouth Metal Travel Tumbler:Heavy Duty Reusable BPA Free Twist Lid Bottle for Hot/Cold Liquid: Bonus-2 Lids

Could you try comparing the Tal water bottle from Walmart with the Coldest?
ice also floats, so you should have filled them with just water
You know, I will never understand why you would want the company to replace the product, when you’re the one responsible for damage. Shame on you. Be accountable for the mistakes you make. Have some integrity..
I like yeti because of its durability. More expensive but worth it. My everyday bottle:)
Ok guys….so i bought a Yeti used it for two days before watching these videos saying the Ozarks are just as good. So i bought an ozark swapped lids with the yeti (so i could keep the maglock lid) And returned the Yeti……And…the Ozark DOES NOT perform even close to as well as the Yeti. In the Ozark my coffee went to room temp after 30-40 min, in the Yeti…2 hours and its still near as hot as when i put it in. These videos are very misleading.
Klean canteen.hits your nose when sipping. Thank you
canteen
Have a yeti and hydro flask prefer the yeti for cold it seems the best. Like them both though.
Too expensive, I’d rather kill all the turtles. If these companies’ goal is to save the environment then saving shouldn’t cost as much
I know hydroflask offers a lifetime warranty for performance issues not cosmetic. That being said which one do you guys think are the most durable? I work at rei and have noticed the yeti and clean canteen seem to be heavier and maybe a bit more durable? I’m trying to decide which ones can handle more abuse for drops without denting?
Don’t like YETI. RTIC is good. Plus yeti turn their back on the NRA
No. Yeti is JUNK. No way in HELLit beat a hydro at anything.
Did you just use a laser thermometer to measure the temperature of water in a bottle? You clearly spent a lot of money making this video, why not also purchase the right tools to do your measurements with?
This video was helpful for my science fair project! Thank you!
The best water bottle I have found to date is the Titan stainless water jug by Manna… Beats Yeti and all the rest hands down… Keeps ice and water 5 + days an investment I’m glad I made….
I use a yeti and I’ve found the bigger of my two (the 18 I believe) cold a little long but would a like to compare a hydro flask but I don’t wanna waste money on a hydro flask, like I have on the yetis even though I like them
any one else just watching to see the hydro flask? like if true
Him: “i use yeti”
Hydroflask: oi,you will get nightmares after that…
this test is flawed badly for one the yeti is bigger which means it holds more ice
Hey bro your a good YouTuber, it seems like your channel is based off shooting as a hobby but it would be cool to see more reviews of the personal gear you use while doing so. I subscribed was worth it God bless you to.
In the full analysis link it states the test was done with different amounts of ice in bottle, which means the starting temperature shown is wrong. If the starting temperature is wrong so is the final and therefore the whole test is mostly wrong. It would be really easy to have tested accurately, just throw some alcohol in the water to keep it from freezing instead of using ice. Or maybe weigh the ice…
Hydro flask is a hype train for people who didn’t want to pay for a yeti. Hydro flask is crap
This was super helpful, thanks. I’ve always been a KK user anyway so I’m glad I watched before buying.
You can buy all three brands from Marshalls or TJ Maxx for half or less price.
I like hydro flask because klean kanteens handle hurts and hydro flask is very comfortable
Since I got my klean kanteen I have every lid for it and all work great and that was important to me because when I looked at that in hydroflask a lot of their kids were leaky and had bad reviews. Ever since I make sure all the impressionable freshman at my school trying to be trendy know that klean kanteen is better. Like if you wanna save the turtles go for the more eco friendly brand sweetie
If you fill the hydroflask completely with ice it will stay for about 2 days
its a thermos. U got tricked into buying it with branding. U r pathetic
Zojirushi is the best. What they didn’t show you is if there was ice in the bottle, 5 hours later, you’ll still have ice in the bottle. I can put hot water in the bottle, all night (10hours) and in the morning I have a nice very warm water to drink still.
My coworker just bought a Hydroflask and he’s showing it off and talking crap about my bottle, we’re both watching this right now
Clean Canteen would be way more difficult to clean than the others
I hate when people buy expensive hydro flasks just to push em off a table or drop them and say “and I oop”
I wonder if the water tastes the same in all three of them. I have a klean kanteen bottle and the metal taste is strong compared to my other bottles. That said, the klean kanteen is leak proof compared to my other bottles and higher quality.
Let’s be real here, the video is disingenuous. OF COURSE the company who made the video will say their bottle won. They never showed methodology or the process or anything like that…
The reason why the hydro flask is so low is because he used a non insulated cap. The cap that comes with the hydro flask keeps my flask cold all day
Can u put juice or soda in it and it will still have the same coldness as if water was in it?
I’m sorry, but this is very doubtful. I own Yeti, S’well and Hydroflask. The Yeti is by far the best. Also, on many many other tests the Yeti comes out on top. So what happened here?
Can you try to switch the caps and see the performance? The bottles themselves look pretty similar, but not the caps.
funny how YETI & the Hydroflask r the most expensive but did worst in the car
Nice straight forward test! This video should have ALOT more views.
I have a Hydroflask and its pretty nice. As good as my yeti.
Thank you sooooo very much for your video. My 10 year old has been talking about Yeti, Hydro flask and vsco and I thought she was speaking a foreign language. Thank you for clarifying Now she & I can make an informed decision when purchasing one of these products
Not sure why this video has so many dislikes, it’s very helpful and informative and well made
Hi, Can you please send me ” coldest” water bottle, I am in India and I am not able to order it online here. It is to be a gift for my sister who recently got into a prestigious college. I am ready to pay for the whole expenses.
I’m sorry but roughly 7:30 in. How is an ice test a good way of measuring temperature control? Water and a thermometer would make much more sense because depending on the random way that the ice is making contact with the sides, it can change the outcome.
I Own 3 yeti ramblers my girl has 2 hydro flasks both are great brands and have amazing products but my cup clearly a bit better with holding ice and taking abuse
Hydroflask is overpriced junk that people buy to flaunt…Stanley and Yeti are the real deal in keeping your drinks warm or cold for a long time.
Yeti for me only due to the ice retention. I work in a weld fab shop have cold ice all shift is key for me.
Great video bro, I really hope your channel blows up, it’s nice to to see smaller channels producing higher quality content than big channels, keep up the good work bro
Lol those are fake once manufactured in china yet design in the US
Thank you for this video I was torn between yeti and hydro flask even though I already have another type of yeti… but I will most def get the yeti water bottle thank you!
I appreciate this review so much!!! I need an indestructible bottle, and thanks to this review, I’m going with Yeti. Thank you!
I was hit by a car on my bike and my Yeti was hit directly because it was on the left side of my backpack!
YETI’S ARE INDESTRUCTIBLE!!!!
(Edit, It got a couple of scratches but no DENTS!!!!)
After that torture test the hot and cold test should be repeated to verefy vacuum insulation integrity…..
The minute you dented them, they lost half their insulating abilities. My old hydro flask was done in by one drop from waist height. It instantly went from keeping coffee hot for 5-6 hours, to 3 at bestif I pre heat it.
4:58 i have exactly the same Yeti bottle and i closed my eyes when it dropped, honestly i couldn’t, I just couldn’t watch it
Dude. You fucking rock for making this video! The “Hail” test was very creative! I will now take the hydro flask out of my cart and add the yeti. Well done dude!
Yeti is one of the best. However, I got it for free. I would never get it for myself or anyone in real life. $50 for a freaking water bottle!!
For my three bike water bottle spots, I have two 64 oz. single wall Klean Kanteens and a 68 oz. Thermos, which I use for water or cooking. 36 hours cold and 36 hours hot for just $23 (cosmetically challenged) from the Amazon Warehouse. Yes, it’s heavy, but I can cook enough food for an entire day and hot breakfast in the morning. Oatmeal, pasta, rice, lentils, hard-boiled eggs, prepared soup mixes, even fresh corn-on-the-cob from a farmstand is possible with just boiling water.
how do you know yeti has a thicker material? Please give the specs of the thickness of each bottle
Great video, but I think weight and grip are bigger factors for everyday use than a torture test.
While the Yeti’s exposed mouthpiece design can be seen as a flaw, it’s actually more of a pro to me. The mouthpiece can’t be covered because the lid is convexed instead of concaved like the other bottles, which makes it way easier to clean.
They don’t all hold the same amount of liquid… That would make your results null and void.
Try boiling water and heating all three for 5 minutes first, pour water out and pour more boiling water in them. This method for using Stanley with hot beverages.
Wht about other brands such as takeya, I own one and like the product quite a bit. Also products more readily available in stores like Walmart. I got a $15 Tal brand 64 ounce water bottle and am Curious as to how cheaper brands fair in comparison
This is the best water bottle review like can we appreciate how this is the first review I didn’t get bored and it was informative
Interesting video. Stanley, IMO, keeps cold better than it does hot. I have a yeti and a Stanley and I have a brand called Kold. Great small company. I never thought of the cap covering the area you drunk from. Never thought about that with the yeti…great point. Thank you!
I think you should had do the temperature test same time or leave the lid on bottles until check the temperature. Cos when you check the temperature 1st one, other bottle temperature will be change. Maybe it’s only little bit, but it’s “test”. But it was good review and I got the yeti bottle:D
I don’t get why you don’t have more people joining your page I thought this was a great review and became part of your page because of it. I also have a page and would love it if we stay connected
I’ll still stick to Stanley. They do have water bottles that have different texture that the one in the video. And can’t beat their lifetime warranty.
I love the Klean Kanteen product, not only the length of keeping my beverage either cold or hot, but also the fact that they give back to communities. Plus, all the baby bottles and kid canteens are amazing! Thank you, @KleanKanteen!
Oh my god. At first glance this guy looks like the time traveling bad guy from one of the Men In Black movie
I want to subscribe but i can’t I said: there are error in the network 503
The coldest water bottle also does have “sports” designs in most of their sizes, so if one handed was important to you you could easily buy the sports version with the straw instead of the regular version with it’s twist off top.
Obviously this video was sponsored by coldest water bottle. Most biased review ever
These are scam bottle just spent your money wisely and buy a yeti
Coldest put freakin’s review on the main website front page, congrats man 0^0
I mean, the lid on the hydroflask wasn’t fully closed for the outside test
I bought $20 water bottle at target, dropped it several times during walking never dented an it had a flip top with 32oz to fill you don’t need ice by the way
Their coffee cup doesn’t keep tea or coffee hot long enough, but stanley tumbler does though!! you can get 9 hour of warmness out of their tumbler.
You should switch the covers. Maybe the difference is in the covers.
my hydro flask kept ice in it for 2 days once. It works really good for me.
I really thought all these bottles worked the same since they are all made in the same country. Sad to see my hydro flask was one of the worst. At least i saved money on it through a deal I found on SD. Good job on the video, SD.
One of the biggest selling features to me is when the lip of the bottle (that will be in your mouth when drinking) is covered when the lid is on. I don’t want my bottle rolling around on a subway seat, or resting against my backpack that’s been dragged all over the world, and then I put that exposed piece of metal on my lips. The old Kleen Kanteen had a covered lip and in this video the Hydroflask is the only one that does.
My mom has a sweatshirt with that boy’s Tennessee design! I love to see other people with it. It’s such a sad but uplifting story!
I have the coldest water bottle and I don’t even use ice I just keep a gallon of water in the Fridge and fill the bottle and it stays cold just the same as the cold water in the fridge it’s amazing I just love it it’s great for bed time it stays just as cold till the next day I recommend it.
I feel that you get the straw lid for when your in the car for quick sips
he missed the perfect opportunity to use those slide cards from spongebob that say “12 hours later” or something like that
I bet you guys put way less ice in the yeti and hydro flask because I left my yeti in a very hot car for about 5 hours and none of the ice melted
The bottles are probably made in the same factory with just different names
I didn’t know Lucasarts made water bottles that is the kucasarts logo on the one bottle
You should have recorded the temperatures beforehand of the cold/hot as your baseline. That way you can measure the difference in temperature from your baseline to be more accurate. But I would argue the results would be the same.
https://www.fashionphile.com/chanel-lambskin-quilted-cc-to-drink-water-bottle-black-gold-447969?gclid=Cj0KCQjwudb3BRC9ARIsAEa-vUuUZzUOtjz7cUuFsugCUmEoEhjRTCUGJHIWHyIFvCCNI6hRFH1l1BYaAm0LEALw_wcB
I can’t believe I’m so bored that I’m this excited about water bottles
Are you a Hoosier?! Didn’t know lol. Or you could just like the school lol
Stanley boasts a claim about actual firearms tho. Not sure how u feel about testing it, but it would make one hell of a video. If your worried about bullets bouncing off, don’t be. When a bullet hits any strong metal or ceramic, its stops in its tracks because the object takes on all of the force
Dude the glasses, lmao, what’s this water world steam punk, blah ha ha, you look stupid
Something is definitely wrong with their testing. If you follow the Link to the full analysis, the graphic shows that the Zojirushi somehow was able to make the water even colder over the night:D
For people who hike long distances, it would have been nice to know the weight of the bottles. Hydro Flask 12 oz (according to Amazon product description) Coldest.8 pounds = 12.8 oz (axxording to Coldest web site)
i hate klean kanteen because the mouth part is not covered by the lid. Therefore, you are constantly getting germs into your mouth. So stay away from this bottle!!!!!
SOLD, Im bouta buy one now, also whats it like living in vegas
please consider talking about the internal welds/seams inside all of these heavy metal leachers
I have the coldest water bottle. Only mine is bigger than that one. I love this thing. I fill it full of ice at work when I leave at 12 to 5pm and still have ice in the morning even when I fill it two or three times at home
I have a 40 OZ bottle that stays cold for 35+ hours and it doesn’t have that annoying small hole. So hard to get ice it in. And it was only like $20 or $30
i just got my 32 oz coldestwater bottle with the straw lid, and it definitely doesn’t disappoint
Like the coldest water bottle I wish I love cold water when summertime
You didn’t miss the wave they just gave out millions to public schools in the USA for free
a little picky but i would find it interesting if you tested how much liquid each water bottle can exactly hold
I got the Simple Modern… about 2/3 the price of Hydroflask and like 5 different cap options and multiple sizes!
I loved how you reviewed these!!!!!!! I definitely watched until the end and subscribed! Thanks!
Or get a plastic bottle of the same size, you can maximize the amount of water you get and it’ll weigh less.
Yeti with the mag cap lid is dreamz I literally drink over a gallon of water everyday because of my Yeti so the $40 I spent on it was well worth it. You can’t go wrong with any of these options really
Opening seems too small to easily fill with ice from the fridge on them
I’ll stick with my Yeti
I don’t know about anyone else but I’m pretty sure it’s appearance appeals to men more and I like it.
i have a hydroflask 1liter, you should have tested the impact test. coz mine rolled on the table and dropped on the tiled floor (filled with water). it had dented bottom, but still works.
much cheaper, built like a tank and will keep cold for days if not left in the sun. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076ZKR22X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and there is a 40oz size too and is one handed.
looking like Cipher when he goes in the matrix with those glasses.
I would have liked a DURABULTY TEST too. I’m Not a “BUY IT FOR THE LOOKS, AT ANY PRICE” kinda guy. (I think it’s kinda Goofy, and a little irresponsible, to spend that much for anything just for Looks.) I’m more of a “I’LL PAY A LITTLE MORE FOR ONE, AND USE IT FOREVER BECAUSE I KNOW IT WILL LAST” kinda guy.
How do those Lids hold up after dropping them on your patio, or down the cement steps leading to the front door, when you’re trying to carry to much stuff. We have Metal Grated steps at work, and mine have fallen down those steps.
For those Bike riders, I think almost Everybody serious, has dropped them on a ride.
I saw one fall off the trunk of a car, when the girl drove away, and one time, In my Mirror, I saw My coffee mug bounce down the street behind me after I left it on my bumper of my pickup. (I had to buy a new lid, but it was pretty funny, in an Annoying kind of way.
I know a Roofer, who dropped one and broke the lid.
Someone mentioned an old STANLEY THERMOS. I think you could run over those with a tractor, and they didn’t leak. (I don’t think they’re as good Anymore.)
So, That’s my Question. How are they gonna hold up to some Negligent Abuse?
where are the vsco girls sksksksksksks and I oop scruncies save the turtles no plastic straws
A lot of saying the same thing over in different ways but still good tests. Loved that he switched thermometers.
Now test both of these up against the Zojirushi vacuum-insulated mug.
I’ve never had anything retain heat or cold like it, even my two heavy-duty Thermos products.
This lid not covering the surface that your mouth touches is huge. Thanks for pointing that out!
I just realized this is a Slicksdeals channel. That’s why the Slicksdeal bottle outperformed the others.
If I had to guess, the coolest bottle looks bigger so it would retain temperature longer because of the higher volume of liquid
Not too much of a big deal but you do have the white lettering facing the sun and the coldest looks like it would reflect more. Should have flipped it to not absorb light
