Just found your channel and subscribed because of this video! It’s great from your explanation to the background music keep it up, Zach!
Makes me cringe every time i see you running through water. #ocd
Still prefer my Hokas, but I’m getting Nike Pegasus Shield for winter/wet running (when it’s not so icy that I need nano spikes)
Got a pair of these for $60 last May after watching this video. Honestly like these more than the Epic Flyknit React’s I used and even the Vaporfly 4% Flyknits for Daily Running (huge emphasis on Daily Running/Training, the 4%’s are still my road racing shoes).
I had a history of injury in tendon of gastrocnemius, which ASICS shoe is best to avoid injury during road running
I do love my peg turbo2, i bought 2pairs of it. Soft and lightweight
my favorite is the brook levitate I’ve never really loved Nike shoes for performance, but I really like them for when I’m doing workouts for other sports, they don’t feel specific to running, i was doing some footwork drills in brooks and they didn’t feel secure for that like the nike
I tried the nike pegasus 35. Did one 6k run and came up with blisters on the arch of the foot. I sent them back and bought some Hoka napali’s and I couldn’t be happier!
1 year of wear and tear, almost constant use: here’s what I can say.
The biggest selling point is comfort for sure. They fit like a padded glove on my foot, and if you’ve ever had a shoe that makes you feel like a superhero you know how awesome it is to just feel incredible walking around in shoes. These are some of those shoes.
Another point is they have an amazing pace, after running a couple 6:30 or so miles (casual but faster pace) I got into a really nice pace quickly. If I can say one thing, the curve of this shoe makes running both long and short things easier to run. I tried out some slimmer shoes, they were cool and had good tractionbut the padding is just next level. I could get into such a good flow with these.
Seriously some of the best, if not my favorite shoes I’ve ever gotten.
Yo jami, i was thinking when you passed that guy with the vaporflys in the half you just ran. if he wouldnt had them you would had passed him before that if you know what im saying %s slower . Great review. I got my clifton 6 Boston 8 for that straingh in the heel and faster days. And my go to for my own personal best 4%s and next always puts me in the race state of mind that any other doesnt. I am a non elite just like you but for fun.great job
Your choices were similar to mine but only the 4%s are great for me to
Good morning Michael I will run the Barcelona marathon in march and I’m stil wondering what shoe I will run it..I ma 55 years old with some physical issues I use orthotics and I’m used to change shoes often,my pace will be around 5.20 per km so around 3.45 final time, which shoe would you suggest to try?I still have some long runs so I can test any kind of shoe,my candidates are shoes like Clifton 6,Rincon,Solarboost,Ultraboost,Triumph 17,Nike Turbo2..I also have a next that I bought when it was on sale but I think it is probably useless at my pace,I also like a lot the Boston 8 for short fast runs but It might be too hard on such a long effort..Any idea for me?New Balance 1080 V10 also could be an idea…what would be your safest bet?Light is also important for me because I wear I big size,12.5 Us I m in good shape 5.11 tall and 160lb…any readers opinion welcome!
For me, my top 5 running shoes would be:
Hoka Carbon 2 (PR marathon and half with those, and they were so smooth, cushioned, and light)
Brooks Glycerin 17 (PR a 10k, and the amount of cusion in that really helps with road running)
Brooks Adrenalyn GTS 19 (keeps getting better. One of my best general day to day shoes, good with helping my technique, and PR 5k with that)
Altra Lone Peak 4.5 (really improved the flexibility and ability of the shoe, giving a lot of barefoot mobility with some cusion and platform. Great for any trail runs).
Icebug DTS 5. (I do enough ice running that good studded shoes are a must, and this one has the most comfortable toe box and feel in my opinion. It has amazing grip on the ice, and is a little water resistant, so nice there).
I absolutely love the first Pegasus 35 Turbo…more comfort around the heel…
I agree with your opinion. I’m on my second pair of 35s and I love em!
Can someone please tell me which is the song/music in the background?
“in 2019, this list helped me decide for the best running shoes scafe.shop/tbmrs2019?A6 hope it helps you out too!”
New Balance Rebel
New Balance Propel
Nike Next %
Hoka Clifton 6
Hoka Rincon
I guess I’m the only one who didn’t like the Vaporfly Next%. I returned them ♂️
My top 5 (in no order):
Razor 3
Fuel Cell Rebel
Run Fast Pro
Escalante Racer (even though it’s a carryover)
Beacon 2
…um my bad, have a brilliant new year love your content
…love this, given me a few ideas for the stable this year. One question, please can you give me some thoughts on your shoe for the low HR days…I run a lot of MAF-style sessions and I have been running in a variety of shoes for those…even the vaporflys ♂️
I feel so sorry for having to wear glasses. I love Nike the king of all shoes manufacturers
1 Adios Boston 8 2 Nike Pegasus Turbo 3 Adizero Adios 4 4 Nike Volmero 14
Brooks is really making some incredibly high end shoe. While they may be expensive, I’ve found that they’re extremely durable and long-lasting! Aside from that, I had a pair of Transcend 3’s that remain my absolute favorite shoe that I’ve ever owned.
Clifton 6 it’s where it’s at
Btw this list with shoes for runners. Will joggers get different list or do these work for us too?
But looking at the pictures of C7. Hm, I’m not looking forward of the changes. Nike style heel collar. Hope it doesn’t cause heel slippage as Pegasus does. Dunno why hoka is changing the heels. First SG4 with lowering of it and now Clifton 7.
Ha, so here is a spot for my Asics!
A tiny problem though: the shoe I got in January was a Nimbus 19…
…but it was fighting hard for the top spot honour… with another veteran Adidas (boost something)
my top shoe of 2019 Nike Zoom Fly 3. Carbon Fiber plate, react foam, vaporweave, solid heel, sock like fit, heavily discounted, it has it all imo
Best running channel around in my opinion Kofuzi, keep it up in 2020
Can we get Mary Beth’s top shoes of 2019? Jami, you know we love you but we need more Mary Beth!
It was a great year watching Kofuzi videos:) Happy New Year!!
I linked you on my running article as a top youtuber on running (Its not a paywall, its a sign in walland its ad free)
https://newsplatform.org/articles/top-5-running-highlights-for-2020/
Nice list, well done. For 2020, try the Reebok Floatride Run Fast. Very good shoe.
@kofuzi pls try a Topo Athletic pair for us… I’ve been eyeing them but can’t pull the trigger
I picked up some Boston 7s and really enjoyed them, didn’t think I would, from just walking around in them. I’m definitely getting 8s. I generally run in Brooks Ghost 12s.
I have them and agree with everything you say about them. Legit
Nice videos. Which do you prefer from New Balance? The beacon or the 1080 V10?
ADIZERO TAKUMI SEN 5. Same great fit as the Adios 4 but lighter. Excellent for shorter distance races 5-10k.
You are my favourite youtuber. Like you do really awsome reviews.
Keep going!!
I’m 14 and I usually run the 5k and 10k at around 20 minutes and 50 minutes respectively I plan to increase my speed which one do you recommend for training and race days
i try to run in pegasus so bad, but i cant. i feel that im using more energy and get tired faster in them. anyone else have the same problem?
Trying to find a versatile supportive shoe, good for the gym and outdoor running, anyone help out?
Y’all go through shoes in a year. I ran on the brooks ghost 11 in 2019, now running on the hoka Clifton 6. Going to try the new balance 1080vs10, being reading good things about it.
Except when my heel slips and it’s a little too narrow for me ☹️☹️
Asian running shoes at Amazon buy now https://amzn.to/3gehchy
My favorite shoes this year have been Hoka gaviota 2’s. It is my first, but not looking like my last pair of Hoka’s. I cannot seem to find where to put my Charity fundraising onto your list so I will try to do so here. I am running the Boston marathon in April, raising money for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. I was diagnosed with MS in 2012, while I have never been fast it hasn’t slowed me down! This link will tell you a little bit more about me. main.nationalmssociety.org/goto/john_carrasco
1. Beacon V2
2. Pegasus 36 Trail
3. Triumph 17
4. 1400V6
5. Boston 8
What kind of clothing gear do you wear when running in bad weather? also what top are you wearing here?
The shoes I put the most miles on this year were the Hoka Speedgoat 3, Altra Torin 4 Plush and the Nike Wildhorse 4. Honorable mention to the Hoka Bondi 6 which would have made this list, but I only got them 2 weeks ago. Dishonorable mention to the Nike Wildhorse 5 for the least miles put on a shoe I bought this year.
My most anticipated shoes for 2020 are the Altra Timp 2 and the Saucony Peregrine 10 which both release soon.
Sir please give your opinion on new balance fuelcell rebel..!!!
ABSOLUTELY I AGREE WITH JAMI SKECHERS GOrun RIDE 8 BCOZ I HAVE A PAIR OF THAT ONE NOT BAD FOR THE PRICE OF $114
Hoka anyone? Why not? Had all brands, but since I run Hoka´s Brooks, Nike, Saucony and NB lost me as a customer!
I’m a bit biased because I work for Runtastic (and adidas therefore) so my favorite shoes right now are the adidas Boston 7 and the Reebok Floatride Run Fast.
The adidas Solar Glide ST is also a solid shoe that I put into my rotation later in the year.
That said I’m now considering what will I use in my first marathon: the Boston 8 or the Carbon X. Any thoughts on that?
After one month my Pegasus 35 it’s very painful for me because my right shoes totally losse it’s cushion and left one is making a crecker sound from zoom air pockets it’s very bad experience from nike
My top 5 running shoes:
1. Hoka One One Clifton 6
2. Hoka One One Rincon
3. ASICS Glideride
4. Nike Zoom x next percent
5. Nike peg turbo 2
Happy new year and happy running ♂️!
Damn jami I’m surprised you didn’t mention the Asics Gel Cumulus 21
Awesome! Just picked up a pair yesterday. Nike Reacts 1st series are also awesome!
Digging the Penn Relays shirt….a classic yearly event.
New Balance Fuel Cell Propel. Best daily trainer of 2019 for me.

your shoe reviews have inspired me to check out shoes i definitely wouldn’t have otherwise, but i think my two current shoes (the asics gel pursue and new balance 880 v7) are both pretty good trainers for logging mileage; i don’t find the new balance is very good for speedwork but for regular and moderately fast runs, they both work great. they’re both sort of heavy but i don’t notice it much, and i’m generally a midfoot striker and they facilitate that well, although i don’t feel any great cushioning either. overall, maybe not top 5, but some good trainers to look out for if anyone’s on the market for them.
The girl had literally no reason to point out that she dropped assics…paid review 100 percent.
Top daily trainer? Nike Vomero 14!!! All day, every day!!!
I am honestly shocked that the Beacons weren’t on the list…
My top 5:
Vapor fly next, Pegasus turbo 2, Adidas Adios 4, Adidas Boston 7, Saucony kinvara 10.
I’d like to see some more Brooks in the rotation! I wear the levitate and revel, but I know a lot of people like their other stuff too.
Adidas Boston 8
Nb 1080v9
ASICS Dynaflyte 3
Reebok Floatride energy
Saucony ride iso 2
The Brooks has always been my best companion for a long time, I think brooks is one of the best.
What’s the difference between a training shoe and a racing shoe?
Nice video. Thanks. I still use my trusty 300 mile lunar glide 5s. I have a fear that i won’t be satisfied with anything else i get. But the 35s seem like my next running shoes thanks to your video. Cheers.
Great review..like always mr Kofuzi..I think that the Hoka Rincon should be in the top 5 as well…anyways thanks for you review..god bless you.greetins from San Salvador
thanks for this great vlog. you really have tried as many brands as possible. good shoe for high arch: Pegasus. good shoes for icy Chicago streets: Mizuno old school models. good lightweight shoe for heavy runners: Beacon, EPIC React.
Brooks is like Nissan Altima of sneakers get job done reliable
Hi just wondering which of the 3 shoes you would pick for quick tempo run? beacon2, evoride and pegasus turbo2
Thanks for the video. I am yet to run in Adidas so 2020 might be the year that I get my first pair. Good luck for Houston. It will be awesome!
Omg, i was thinking why haven’t you made a video like others and walla, you just did. Watching it after 10hra of release xD
Yo try out running in ALTRA they are a very comfortable and light shoe
Having run in most of these, I think your list is spot on… except the sketchers. I can’t bring myself to buying that brand.
+1 Kofuzi
+1 Seth
Are these good shoes for cross country can I get some help finding out? Or what do you recommend?
Is the Nimbus Lite good for a heavier runner (80-90kg)180lbs +aprox?
Kofuzi, happy new year to you and your family. I found your YouTube channel in 2019 and I liked it straight away because of your great reviews on shoes and tips for beginner runners. Keep up the good work in 2020!
Señores soy de mexico si me interesa los tenis peto megustaria qie yutuber pasara los videos que el que esta hablando esplicando los tenis hable castellano
Great shoes this year yes!! Do you think the Beacon v2 would hold up for a half marathon? Happy New Year!!
Great video as always Michael. Didn’t run in your later two favourites but i ran in 1-3 and totally agree that they were 3 amazing shoes. Still prefer the beacon V1 personally because of the upper but V2 was still an excellent version. Happy new year and go get that sub 3 this year. See you in Chicago this October
I definitely agree with you when it comes to the Asics brand, I’ve owned a pair before and they’re very comfortable for running
Am I rude for thinking this is a click bait video? This clip has 0 original footage and only uses promotional clips. The guy might as well never ran a mile in his life..
My top 3 daily trainers, not in accordance with year of manufacture are:
1. Hoka Bondi 6
2. Hoka Clifton 5/6
3. Nike Zoom Fly Flyknit
I wouldn’t run in Sketchers if you paid me……. or maybe I would.
I’m on Raukten and jesus christ, shoes are going faster than toilet paper.
This video is a bit misleading. This is a mix of neutral and stability shoes. They can’t be compared to each other in the same list…
Next% absolutely the top one for the year, PR then ever, I prefer adios 3 over 4 for the comfort difference imo, can’t wait your review on the newly adios 5! They looks amazing!
i am looking for a training shoe, walking shoe and running shoe all in one…i need very comfortable sole cushion
Nike pegasus 36 works??
THIS is a list of standard DAILY TRAINERS. Here is a link to other categories of shoes.

Well Nike shoes are the best.
For training
For running
Any sports
Fashion
Lifestyle
Nike 100%
While 2020 is just round the corner in EU and I already think what newcomers will it bring (mayby something from Mizuno or Saucony?), I must admit the 2019 was the year of discovering the olds: Asics Nimbus 19 (my no.1)
Then Nike zoom fly Flyknit + Vaporfly 4% they have still work to do in 2020.
The other no.1 is for sure the Salomon Speedcross 4 mud, gravel or even road sections it delivered!
SC5 will take over in few day time
i train in the exact same shoe and color i love them. so comfy and have a bounce when you push off it
Check out these retro running shoes plus they look good with my jeans if I have a casual night out. Saw them on IG. Crazy comfortable and hand made of Italian leather. http://www.aliveshoes.com/move-10.
It’s cool to look back but kinda pointless…. the major shoe companies will all be changing their shoes in the next 20 minutes anyway so even if you found your favorite shoe ever it’ll be gone by the time you need your next pair anyways… so annoying for those of us that live in reality with a budget and can’t buy a lifetime supply of the ones that work for us… look at the Clifton… you got the 6 after quite sometime since the 1… while you had to go elsewhere to find your thing… who’s got the time and money to play the games… I’m trying to spend time running not working to support my shoe habit!
Versus Turbo!? I would think people want to know! Have yet tried read
comments.
Does the GlideRide qualify as a daily trainer? I’d put that up with the Turbo 2 (isn’t that lightweight?) and Carbon X (or is that lightweight?). I’m CONFUSED.
what’s the black jacket you’re wearing when you’re talking? it looks nice
I’d say my top shoe of 2019 was the Reebok Floatride Run fast (not the pro, although that was a great shoe…just more limited in capabilities). The Adios 4 was up there but in all my major races chose the Run Fast over the Adios 4 as quite a bit lighter (over an ounce), a bit more cushion and in my opinion was quite responsive at higher speeds. Looking forward to trying some new shoes in 2020!
What about saucony freedom iso 2? Thanks you for these tests, you do really good job 😉 cheers from Czech
No way it beats the Saucony triumph 17. This has to be in the list. Truth.
clifton 6 has an arch problem, it cuts in my feet. I love the arahi3! they are perfect.
I gotta say that ultra boost are good for long runs i used it for a long time it was durable comfortable well cushioned….and most of all breathable and right now i got adizero adios as my race shoe
Try UA Hovr Sonic 2. Sonic 2 VS Phantom is a similar story as Adios 4 VS Ultraboost.
Rincons>clifton 6 for daily
Beacons> peg T2’s..
GRR8 is just too heavy for what it has to offer. Mind as well run in UB19 if you just want comfort.
After 60 years of running here’s some advice; One: run with
zero drop shoes, no heel height (but not barefoot shoes) make sure you have
cushioning. Two: don’t run any further than 6 miles 3 times a week. Three:
don’t time yourself. Four: don’t do marathons. Five: the important one don’t join
a running club; the reason, you’ll end up ignoring 2, 3 and 4. If that happens
you’ll end up like me and 90% of other club runners, requiring new knees because
your cartilage will be gone. Another bit of advice just ignore the above and
get a bike. Anyway don’t run or walk with a heel its unnatural; and that’s just a fact
Have you ever tried the Skechers with Hyper Burst sole? I read they are extremely light weight, cushoned and very responsive. I will sure look to try one as soon as feasible probably the GoRun 7 (which has 220g!!!).
Go out on an 18-mile run?? Geez… I can run 5 with the pegasus turbo..lol
I need to step it up!
I’m loving these videos reviews and running thoughts as well. Do you plan (or have you already) to review the Infinity Epic React?
I have had the Pegasus Turbos since January and my only complaint is the that the heel has started to split on both shoes. I’m pretty sure it’s because I have done a variety of sprint workouts and long runs in them throughout the season. Although I would still reccomend the shoe since it is the best shoe for running in my opinion especially for workout days.
Hey Jami, my weight is 68 Kg, and I actually run at 6.00/km 3 times in a week for a total of 30 km. Do you think Triumph 17 could be a good shoe for me or is it heavy?
Thank you.
Jami you’re a goat always delivering what the fans ask for. Thanks for delivering great consistent content.
Pegasus 35 weighs 10.5 oz. Air Zoom Fly 2 weighs 8.5 oz. Adizero sub 2 is 5.5 oz. It’s just really heavy for a running shoe.
Happy New Year kofuzi! Thank you for all the great content in 2019! Look forward to 2020!
I always thought the Turbo 2 was a little more than a daily trainer.. Fast like the Zoom Fly but goes the distance like the Pegasus?
Love the clifton and bondi 6. But skechers is great too…..razor just needs a new upper
I would like to know about the lifespan of the next%, please.
I need recovery running shoes for my recently stress fractures tibia, what’s your suggestion? I am thinking about NB FC Propel, Hoka Rincon, or Pegasus 36. Which is better for my condition?
Okay just to let all you guys know you are sneaker snobs. I grew up in the 70 and 80s and running shoes generally sucked. I have some Nikes that are basically good for life style that honestly would be a good pair of running shoes back then. My favorites are bounce because I have a bad knee and can’t run until they can sow me up and me back together again… I think you have some good choices though
Hyperburst, PWERRN+, Fresh Foam X, React/ZoomX& DNA…it’s going to be a great world out there in 2020 when it comes to choice!
Thanks Jami for this post-just the thing to help me with the injury blues (tore hamstring at CIM) I like how he has divided up his reviews based on different categories. I think that Brooks and Mizuno both put out functional shoes that will last a lot of miles. Nothing of flashy, just get the job done. I really like the Wavesky Waveknit 3. I have the ISO2 and use it for easy or recovery runs. I am going to try the Skechers GoRun8 in 2020 because I trust Jami’s reviews and they deserve a shot in the rotation. Thanks again Jami for this post.
Gotta put the Reebok Floatride Forever Energy on this list. You can grab em for less than $40 when Reebok throws a code! Every time I wear them within a few steps I am reminded of how far superior Floatride foam is over everything else. Even far better than Hyperburst in my Razor 3’s. It’s just such a great sensation and you really fell like ur floating. Everything else feels like a dead pillow. Floatride is the best.
Altra Torin 4.0 was my favorite daily trainer from 2019, cushioned enough for whatever you wanted to go run, fast enough to use on workout days, and has a really durable rubber outsole that’s grippy in all conditions! Definitely a big sleeper shoe in my opinion!
Top 5 for me in 2019 out of the shoes I’ve actually run in is the Topo Zephyr, 1080v10, Carbon X, 1400v6, and I know it just came out but I am really loving the Adios 5
Totally Agree with you on the Vaporfly for number 1although it took a few races for me to get there. I barely even ran in five pairs of shoes this year, but would be interested in your thoughts on the Nike LT Streak and/or Nike Speed Racer which i used for road mile and road 5Ks respectively. Thanks for sharing your top 5 and Happy New Year to you and your family!
Happy New Year Michael! Thanks for all the great content. Can’t wait to see you smash your goals in 2020!
Thank you kofuzi! You helped me get back into running in 2019. I normally run in only one pair of shoes. Do you find yourself changing the way you run as you run in different shoes?
Great list… if you have a contact at sketchers, tell them to make their shoes more available in the UK, we have such a bad range to choose from and their website is cr*p!
Through the summer, it was the Hoka Rincon that was my go to trainer. Then I snatched up a smoking deal on the Nike Zoom Fly 2 Flyknit and it became my bread and butter. The response with a slight bounce and lockdown feel of the upper was pure joy. Still rocking the Zoomfly in Dec.
I have wider feet so Nike’s usually don’t work, so i prefer hokas
the shot of the edge at 0:36 was sick, love your vids and can’t wait to see how the cinematography and channel in general improve in 2020!
1-New balance Rebel
2-Sketchers Razor 3
3-New Balance Propel
4-Hoka Clifton 6
5-Topo Zephyr
I just bought the Boston 8 because of your videos. I just put 350 on my Pegasus 35 and loved them. I found the Boston’s for $72!!
Thanks for the videos. Super helpful. Super.
Did you test the vomero 14? Which are better? Vomero, Pegasus?
Jami, new to your channel, thank you so much for making these amazing reviews and amazing informational videos!!! You remind me of a more handsome young Samuel L Jackson. You should give acting a shot! You can really deliver a line. Sounds like you might have a solid angry voice. Drop a few mother****ers on a Screen test. See what happens! 😉 Cheers!
Kinda surprised not to see the Reebok Floatride Energy here, based on the price point ($100) and your glowing review earlier this year.
Do whatever is right bro, don’t get negativity from a-hole to your head.
THe Ultraboosts are too heavy. Go with the Addidas Adios instead.
Kofuzi, please look into the takumi sen’s!! Asian designed shoes aren’t getting enough attention despite great designs, I hope that you can try on a pair and tell me what u think!
Ride ISO vs Freedom ISO 2. Jami I thought u loved the freedom 2
I have the lace issue with Pegasus Turbo 2’s and Zoomfly 3’s double knot or undone, guaranteed
Oh! And as to the Asics Gel Kayano? I’ve not owned a pair, but I’d like to shortly. I’ve only heard/read good things about this one.
the Brooks revel 3 are great for short distance runners, they may seem bulky at first but they’re very light considering how much cushioning and support they have.
Vaporfly 4% is so good and comfortable and so is zoom Pegasus 35 turbo. I have and use both. Would recommend
I bet you have not tried the Adidas Boston series if you don’t think that that is not just the best all-round runningshoe but also the most durable and economical runningshoe around:-)
Jami, NB Beacon or Pegasus Turbo 2? Also, what’s Emily Hiller’s channel please?!
D1 Runner, yet couldn’t make it an entire year of running collegiately. Whatever gets you clicks I guess…
my top 3 are:
1. Saucony triumph 17 (run lighter than they look)
2. Topo Zephyr
3. Brook Revel 3 (lasted about 280 miles light, comfortable but not responsive. Great shoe though)
agreed but everyone is saying the peg 36 has the same midsole as the 35… I have both and my 35 are softer and more responsive than the 36??? defect??
I don’t know where to buy them. The link in desc doesnt work, and they dont sell them on Nike.com. I have always bought shoes from store and this year i wanna try buying online. any suggestions?
I’ve ran in 2 pairs of asics I’ve completely destroy them lmao and the UA Hovr phantom which was a great shoe btw then the nike Odyssey react which is near its experation and then the zoom fly which was a nice shoe to run in and race and now my next shoe I’m trying the nike pegasus turbo 2
2019 was the year I realized I could get last year’s models at huge discounts, so the only 2019 released shoe I own is the Zante Pursuit. It’s fine, but I don’t love it (or Fresh Foam. I also bought Beacon V1 this year, and don’t care for it as much as everyone else.)
If you think about it at the beginning of the video he just walks and puts the camera down in different angles then runs by it the goes and picks it up to take it to the next angle
Right now im still runnin on ghost 11, and want to try rincon or clifton 6. Any suggest tho..
Can someone what is the bgm of first 20 seconds in this video?
I live in a really big city and the only places I can run are on concrete or the treadmill (we have no trees anywhere in sight lol). Will the souls with traction affect this?
So far, my Mizuno’s and in my case, Brooks Glycerin 17, have both done very well for me since October, 2019. The Ghost 13 is due out this July I think, so stock up on Ghost 12’s if you fancy those. They’re on sale, or should be, everywhere. I want the Triumph 17, but at the moment have just enough running shoes in my rotations. Thanks for your perspectives. Nice job as always!
I just won state championships for middle school varsity and I’m going to be varsity cross country as a freshmen and I accomplished this with the epic react flyknit two and I have just under 800 miles on them and there the best running shoe I’ve ever had so I strongly recommend these.
Nike Vomero 14 in wide fit have been great for my wide feet.
Added the Clifton 1 reissue to my lineup for most long runs, MLRs and daily easy training. Don’t think I’ll use it for speed work when I get back to that but solid otherwise. Thanks for the review list!
We don’t get skechers in UK. Unless you order of amazon and add another 100 dollars. It sucks. Because everyone loves it not one bad review.
I don’t suggest you guys for white Nike shoes. White shoes gets dirty too fast and you have to wash it often. But it will be cool for the race.
Same here, I was a great hoka fan and recently move to Nike also, love the vomero 14 and recently bought the zoom fly Flyknit, Nike is doing a great job, feels so much natural running with this shoes especially if you are a forefoot striker, great video
In my opinion these are WAY better than the Nike fly knit epicreacts. I’ve tried running in those and they’re ok but I prefer these way over the epic reacts
Tip: Don’t spoil the video in the description. You want people to actually watch your video instead of finding out what the “top five” are in the description box and calling it a day.
Great video, nevertheless!
No thanks!
I’ll wait for Nike’s Vaporfly to be out in the market.
What socks do you wear? I get blisters after running for a long time
New runner here Nike Peg 35s are trash. Have run 200 miles in them. Legs in pain. Feet all beat up. I thought it was down to my fitness but no. Finally changed shoes to the Reekbok Floatride Energy and I feel like Kipchoge out there now. Avoid the Peg 35s unless you weigh 45kg and run 5 min miles. Trash shoe.
All these suck. The best running shoes are made by hoka one one. Save yourself the time and trouble.
Okay…im sold. Love the colorway you chose. I also found these Nathan Bell edition Nike Pegasus 35s where the rubber is like a blueish transparent material…I wonder if the performance is the same.
I’m finding myself in need for a new pair of running shoes. Being in the army national guard I need to focus on keeping a fast/good 2 mile run time. I keep a good time bit I want a shoe that will help me get better. Before the guard I wasnt much of a runner and dont really know anything about a ‘good’ running shoe. I’ve been eyeing the boston 8, but whenever I try to find info online about shoes I dont really understand what a lot of people say about the shoes. What would be a good shoe to help me improve my 2 mile time?
Hey I’m looking for a new pair of trainers for running what are your opinions on the Legend React 2? I tried them on in store today felt really good but thought I would try get others opinions
Quick question what spikes do you wear because I’m looking for some and I run long distance aswell
Yo Mike, only just watched this as it automatically played after Seth’s latest video. Some great choices there, but the outro hasn’t aged well now that we are halfway into 2020
thanks for sharing, this video is very informative esp to runners out there!
we do love to run too and we make videos to some of our running adventures. keep it up
Thanks man I really appreciate the recommendation. I was just thinking about buying new running shoes and I’m definitely copping these!
I have three pairs of the zoom pegasus 35. Of course, they are of different colors.
What daily trainer is good for a 14 years old just getting into running
Love Nike and the peg 35’s. I had the same thing with the heel the first few times I wore it, could swear it felt like my heel was just going to slip right out, especially during toe off. But it never did and now I just trust the shoe and it’s perfect, the lockdown is fine. I did have a bit of arch irritation at the start like you until I broke it in aswell.
From an older slower runner:
1) Hoka one one Clifton 6
2) Hoka one one Rincon
3) NB 1080 v10
4) Brooks Glycerin
5)????
False: Shoes liek Nike, Adidas are all over-priced sold on hype for people t oshow off and brag about som ridiculous shwoosh. True: you don’t need to spend more than $30 for running shoes. I don’t. New Balance are som of the most affordable shoes. If you train properly, you will outrun all those $150 shoes with modest $30 you can get on sale! Hint: It’s NOT the shoe that makes you better. True: Shoe companies’ main goal is to make a shoe that does not last more and a few months.
The new balance zante pursuit r trash for speed and just any running even easy the upper is so stretchy that ur foot slides over the footbed every stride if u wanna run in it don’t get it
Just picked up the Turbo 2 Ekiden colorway and it’s my favorite Nike now!
I actually have those shoes and they are really great for track and cross country season and they are really great shoes!
I know the New Balance 1080v10 are a late 2019 release, but I gotta put them on my list as a top daily contender. They may not be as fast as my Peg Turbo2, but they are equal to Peg 35/36 speed wise. They are also more comfortable/plush than the Nike. I am a big fan of Nike running shoes, probably some of my favorites.
not even one mention of adidas! and you are not paid by nike:?
I like this vdo. I replayed several times. Combined with your previous reviews, I finally made up my mind to buy NB beacon 2. Thank you, Kofuzi.
Not Nike for me not even close. Brooks and Saucony for me. Nike never has good cushioning they are kind of rigid for me.
Hallo what New Balance running shoes do you recommend for Supination. Kobus fro South Africa
Havent tried enough Hoka this year (only the rincon) but the propel and the beacon v2 sold NB to me this year! Been disappointed with Nike sadly!
For me these brand of the year was Adidas! I loved my Adios 4 and Boston 8.
Honorable mention to Nike with the Vomero 14, ZoonFly 3 and Pegasus 36 that I used a lot.
The disappointment brand( I did not chose the right shoes)of the year for me was New Balance:
Got the 1080v9 ( good shoe but nothing really special) and the Echo NY edition that did not impress me with the Fuelcell midsole but the knit it’s very comfortable.
And be been wearing the Brooks Men’s Levitate 2 from July XC preseason last year through track this year, but I’ve been thinking I wanna do a slow transition to minimalist shies overtime. What are your thoughts on the 2019 Nike Free RN 5.0 and 3.0 Flyknit for that?
zoom cushioning tech hasn’t been my fave in the past.., after watching many reviews (with yours sealing the deal), I picked up a pair.
I am not dissatisfied, this is a pretty good shoe. great videos man.., be well
I have pretty high arches. Do they have decent arch support for high arch neutral runners?
What are those black and red Asics behind Jamison??? Please help lol!!!!
Everyone should be going and watching Jami reviews and not this.
Legit have watched this video like 6 times mainly because that colorway is
