Ascorbic Acid is only A part of C Vitamin ( buying Ascorbic Acid C Vitamin Is made from 2 different Chemicals ).. Ascorbic Acid Is the protective layer surrounding the, maybe most important parts off C Vitamin. Only found in Natural Products. It is proven if taken the Chemical Version you will / might dilute the C Vitamin you are already ingesting.
Dr. Thompson was reported as saying that freeze drying of fruits was not good for the vitamin C content. Not sure, but he was saying something to the effect that it destabilized or denatured the vitamin C. Does anybody know anything about this?
Acerola:), i grew up in Haiti and i can tell you when they are ripe, they are sweet. I used to eat them right off the tree, great memories.
The Maltodextrin is very dependant On Concentration and just what your using it for Examples are you using it as a Sweetener then no it is Not a good option if your superheating it and it is from non GMO source then it is just a drying base my Acerola C came in at 31.56% we used maltodextrin and it only has 1 Calorie in 13 doses but again we just needed a Super Dry base to hold the juice not a sweetener, you can tell if you taste mine it does not have but cherry flavor not sweet / but in kool aid / soft drinks / energy drinks it can pack a lot of calories again dependant on what your using it for and how many calories you want or don’t want in it / Check Calories as one for example had 500 mg of Acerola per Teaspoon the rest was sugar/ maltodextrin high calorie / mine is 1,500 mg per teaspoon and you would have to take 3 1/2 teaspoons to get 1 calore ///
Your research is terrible and your misguiding others. Usually I agree with your videos but this is all wrong. Look into Dr. Thomas Levy and Suzanne Humphries research before you make ignorant claims like these. Doing my own research and actually testing, ascorbic acid, sodium ascorbate (and especially liposomal vitamin c) are far superior to any plant based powder. You feel the difference in minutes. So many things I’ve used it for on myself and several others. Remake this bro. And if you don’t believe me, look into the research of Robert Cathcart who was using high doses of synthetic vitamin c to cure even polio. You have no right to misdirect others like this so do the research. Suzanne Humphries has spoken and shed the light on the oxilate issues and its nothing to worry about. The only reason I’m mad is because I’ve seen this used in life threatening situations and you downplaying it may be what stops someone from using it when it in fact may be what saves them.
Dissapointed with your research in this video. Increased urinary oxalate does not translate into a higher kidney stone risk because AA (or its metabolic byproduct DHAA, can’t remember properly) prevents calcium from binding with oxalates. Suzanne Humphries explains it better than me in her presentation.
If someone wants to buy it..just contact me..message me thanks.
Hey Wendi! Hope you are well. I was wondering if you will be selling these fruit tree seedlings on your website?
There are different types of Barbados Cherry in VN. One is this type we have in the US, the other one in VN is still sweet + tart (a little) + smell so good even when they pick it early.
You think the tree created itself? Your thanking a tree and not Jesus? Sad!!! Thank you tree
what did u mean to limit watering when buds are in bloom? how come? All of my flowers are dropping and none set fruit so far. i water every four days in San diego in a pot.
Do you know where I can buy rare fruit like this to try before planting a tree? I also live in Southern California. Thanks.
If the flowers of that tree were easily fall off on its own I think it has some sort of vitamins deficiency I’m not certain about this and which vitamins your tree is lacking, but you can search it in google for more info.
Great video your tree looks awesome I have 2 of these and the shrilanka weavels destroy my leaves every yr but I still get fruit so u dnt mind so much
Could you please tell me where I could order those type of seeds I looked on Amazon but the comments were they were not actually the seeds that you have and that the seeds came from China and they did not germinate after six months of waiting.
I can only find acerelo as ascorbic acid! What about camu camu?
I have this shrub since 3 years. It’s not bearing fruit please helppppp
I have a 20 year old tree which has been grown in very tough conditions ( some frost, only water is rainfall) and has reached about 7 feet. It crops once a year. I now have some 2 year old named varieties which get watered in drought conditions and they have been cropping sporadically over the warmer months. My biggest problem is birds, who don’t care about ripeness!
Can the Acerola Barbados Cherry be grown indoor in Ontario, Canada during the winter time?
I have 5 bushes and I notice the one that fruits 3 times as much as the others is in full 9 hours sun. My others look good but fruit little compared to their size and they get 5-6 hours of sun.
I want the pandan plant but it seems like you sold out when you have it again
Cheers superfoodevolution! So, i looked at that work with joy:) Keep it up, Superfoodevolution! Left a thumb from me and subbed you too! You might join my https://www.instagram.com/sweetgirlsmoon#Ella.A00kU Cheers 😉
These are soooo common in Brazil that some people don’t give the respect it deserves.
How did you deal with the aphid that likes to munch on the new shoots?
I got some acerola seeds today. Will be planting in pot first but will replant in the ground later
Our acerola tree is well over 10 years old, it can provide fruits all year round as long as you keep providing enough water daily.
When we make the juice, we just blender it all together and the seeds add some nutty taste to the juice, wich is very nice.
Hi, Wendi! Thanks for this video. I have an acerola tree, but the flowers also just drop without setting fruit. Any tips? As your video says, should I just limit the watering during that time?
