Hi meddit,
As you're probably aware, we like to run occasional AMAs related to the practice of medicine – anything from specific clinical conditions to broad policy. We're looking for members of the community interested in answering a few questions in a moderated, professional environment.
If you're interested, get in touch via
modmail! We are currently scheduling AMAs up to several months in advance to suit what we know are already very busy schedules. Our AMAs run with some pre-AMA advertising, and then a 24-hour submission period for questions which are then answered at the respondent's leisure on a date and time to suit.
Recent AMAs include:
Wellness Coordinators from Children's National
The Aesclepius Snakevite Foundation
The Gout Education Society
Amish Genetic Disease Specialists
Medscape Editors Discuss Sexual Harassment in Medicine
Experience has shown that the community appreciates the opportunity to learn from its members, so let's see if we can get a few AMAs cooking.
