I love steel cut oats, keeps me full!!!!
By the way, I’ve never been this early lol
What do you do about the foam, I read it can clog the vents.
I didn’t think this video was that bad and then I read the comments. You guys are hilarious .
I’m a mom and I never made oats for my kids they litterly don’t like them.
If oatmeal is tasteless to you and you have no fruits put in some honey
This video… Anyone else notice that this dude doesn’t actually speak english? 15 seconds in he says “Let’s get start. We’ve have three quartfcupalm… I Lready have some going here, llmmnnbringito a boil..”
Hehe, yeah I guess so. But we are trying to keep the cookie uber healthy & easy to make vegan so we’re using a lot of alternatives. If you want to keep it a “traditional” cookie recipe you could probably cut out several items.
I’ve just switched from the instant packs to “1 minute oats” lol and i haven’t got it down yet, oats never taste like they’re cooked even following the directions lol hope this helps EDIT: 3/4 cup of milk…add oats (well how much, God)…
Its not just mediterranean… actually. South asian countries like india also use oats and emphasize the use of whole grains over preservative food and artificially sweetened sugary oats.
Have you ever tried blueberry cheesecake oatmeal? I made it this morning! There’s a recipe on my channel. It was so good!
why is it ok for you to “process” the food but not at a “factory”
Check your blood sugar before eating this and then 30 minutes after. It’ll skyrocket beyond 150 and then store as bodyfat before making you a Type 2 diabetic later in life. Meals like this are why we are so fat now. Carbs = insulin = blood sugar spike = fat storage.
Yeah right who is that going to feed someone who weighs 98lbs? Come on guys you are professionals promote a sustainable diet of raw fruit for breakfast ( 3 bananas + 2 oranges + handful of blue berries and nuts )…that will super power a start to anyone’s day with Carbs and Protein
I can’t eat cooked oats for some reason… it makes me nauseous and I can’t think. so I can have overnight oats. My current recipe is about 1/4 cup old fashioned gluten free oats, about 1/2 cup of coconut milk (I have gluten and dairy issues, so I am gluten free and vegan) I put in whatever dried fruit I have, so today’s was cranberries, currents, and apricots, and then I added about a TBSP of coconut and a few walnut pieces. Last, but certainly not least, as it adds some protein, is a few sprinkles of chia seeds. I put it all in a mason jar in the fridge and then I don’t have to worry about making breakfast the next morning. If you want it sweeter, just add some honey in the milk, or you can used sweetened yogurt. I just prefer honey (I know it is not vegan, our friends have bees, and I am vegan for health reasons, at least mostly for health reasons).
How did you think this is an “easy” receipe!? I am gonna give a prize to anyone who already has all these weird ingredients at home.
Shouldn’t the oatmeal be pre cooked since its steel cut? I would think it would be hard and crunchy, which is something I wouldn’t want in an oatmeal cookie!
O.O There are?! @#$!-ing AWESOME!!! I need to pay more attention the next time I’m at Whole Paycheck… LMAO!On a different note, would vegan egg supbtitute work as a adequate replacement for the flax seed? I’ve had mixed reactions when baking with it.
Whole Foods usually has good vegan friendly items or also VeganStore’s online website (link in description). If not worried about being vegan, you can always use more “traditional” ingredients like butter or sugar. We just try to avoid that when we can.
Thanks for watchin’!
There’s vegan white chocolate chips online or at stores like Whole Foods usually. Check out VeganStore’s website (link in description) for lots great vegan items!
Oops, my bad (I guess I missed that part). Flax seed can be used as a successful binder? I didn’t know that (learn sumthin’ new every day…). What about the white chocolate? I haven’t found one that didn’t have some type of milk products.
Haha, yeah that’s a halloween edition spatula that always seems to find it’s way into our videos. Thanks for your concern!:D
she did say if you want to make it ‘vegan’ use flax seed instead of egg
Um, did you said these cookies are ‘vegan’? Not to nitpick, but ‘vegan’ means no animal products AT ALL, meaning you’d have to dump the eggs and white chocolate (milk products). I think the word you’re looking for is ‘vegetarian’.
So many ingredients! I dont even know where to find half of those:(
I thought the black spider on the back of the wooden spatula was real. I literally was screaming at my computer screen trying to warn you guys hahaha. Other than that, the cookies look scrumptious:D
If I cut oatmeal with steel it hurts my teeth. I cut all my oatmeal, and cocaine with sugar
Absolutely! We just like to show alternatives but you can use whatever ya gots. Let us know how they turn out!
can i replace the coconut palm sugar for raw sugar or regular sugar because where i live i can’t get that ingredient.
