I don’t know why, but I would love to see Simon Cowell in this with Gordon.
So good to see someone give Gordon some shit that book cover photo is awful though lol
I am sorry that you have abandoned the hydroponics. It is not wasteful on water in fact it is quite miserly. Plants need water to grow, if you expect them to grow you must be willing to supply the water they need. A tomato plant in a hot area will use over 1 gallon of water per day, (in a hydroponic system) especially if it loaded with tomatoes. Not a drop is wasted. Also, Plants “eat” chemicals, whether it comes from chemicals dissolved in the ground or chemicals that are suspended in the nutrient/water solution. I think the reason people are down on chemical fertilizers is that they have been misused and allowed to leaches into the ground water in large scale agribiz. When I have used up my nutrient solution, I feed it to my other plants and trees in my yard. Nothing is wasted. I would urge you to look into hydroponics a little more. It produces great foods in a very compact area and is well adapted to growing awesome greens. I suggest you search youtube for “Off grid hydroponics” or the Kratky Method for growing leafy greens. It is cheap, easy to implement, and can be used anywhere. I have been using the Kratky Method to grow Swiss Chard, Butter Lettuce, Spinach, Asian Greens, Collards, chili peppers and more with great results. I prefer to grow my greens in my basement under standard daylight fluorescent lights and get great results all year long. I urge you to reconsider. Thank you.
New York City? THAT HAS NEER BEEN A HOTBED OF MEXICAN FOOD! You ouldn’t even find the proper ingredients until farely recently
To make it even more Mexican, rip the tortilla and use it to grab the food and eat it. Also add frijoles.
i wish that the music were not so loud. i have a hard time hearing him.
Another great video. And since most people live in cites… Honestly the video on the remote Spanish village homesteaders was my favorite
Now that’s entertainment and great food! “I don’t tell you how to make spotted _!” LOL!
I used to prefer crispy taco shells, but soft is so much better…
Damn even tho chef Ramsey ain’t Mexican his taco looked way better
When he called her a bitch….that was hilarious/unexpected lolol. He wanted to fuck for real
6:51 did he just tasted with that spoon and threw it back into all the fresh ones? Lol
I see what you did there, RAMSAY
It has a view of whenever after human beings disappeared centuries ago, which must have already given lots of inspirations to visual artists and fiction writers!
Decided, it’s on my to-visit list now. Las Pozas!
This reminds me of the magical worlds in Hayao Miyazaki movies:) anyone else?
Love you Gordon but my vote goes to Aaron, I love my tortillas soft. Both tacos looked delicious but I like that he cheated and added the avocado in the end. Chemistry between these two chefs was amazing!
Neither are Mexican tacos… Just to clear that up! Not authentic!
A lot of people think that Mexico is not innovative, WRONG! Please stop watching MSM and believing in everything they say. Grow a brain to those posting dismissive comments below, shame on you, also you forgot to mention that a lot of Americans come to Mexico for child prostitution, sick disgusting perverted humans, why don’t you mention that!
One day in the distant future someone will stumble upon this and wonder who created it.
I like the way that he didn’t try to manipulate the natural environment, he worked with it. The correlation between the two, is seamlessly stunning
Both them tacos looked good as hell idc soft or crispy it’s going down…. in my tummy Lol
I like the idea of the “sedimentation filtration” system. Very clever. Drip systems are also a good idea. I use to just use old plastic bottles turned upside-down to provide water to my plants on a daily basis. Plants use the exact amount of water they need all on their own. You just need to make sure the bottles are refilled.
I love you Gordon, but Aaron ‘s are better to my mexican heritage gracias por la excelente cocina a ambos
I love that she spoke about her cattle with this much love and care. Wish all cattle raised in large slaughter houses could have a more humane execution.
Thanks, Kirsten!
PS, i notice that you do a lot of travel and your partner(?) speaks Spanish. Do you happen to live in Mexico? or are you in the USA?
6:50 Gordon ate off of that spoon and then put it back in with the other clean spoons. And then Aaron grabs a spoon out of there right after.
Those both looked really good. I’d usually go for the more traditional chorizo route but the European taco looked dank as well
This isn’t Mexican tacos lol this is what Americans think a taco is
First you did a horrible Mexican torta and now you are using tweezers to move tortillas in a frying pan.
Several years ago i visited “Xilitla” in la huasteca of San Luis Potosi.
im 16, but i was around 9-11 years old when visiting this place, where here in the video is called “Las Pozas”, everyone in the trip referred to it as ” Los Jardines de Edward James” or “Edward James Gardens”, anyways a truly vivid memory from here is that my brother 11-13 saw a fully naked female tourist walk down past him, and it was hillarious cause my uncles made him think he lost a part of his virginity:)
But apart from that is:everything within la huasteca is truly an amazing site/view to witness in real person, nothing like it
If you eat a birria tacos for the breackfast, you can choose cryspy tortilla or soft tortilla… tacos suaves y tacos duros its usuall in barbacoa and birria stands.
Lol eso no es un mexican taco what’s going on,mexican chef, u are mexicano y sabes que es un taco eso es un taco Bell, come on guy mexican spirit o My god
I really like the grey water recycling pots. Very innovative, and not just those in a small space.
The amount of times Gordon touched his face with his hands then cooked is gross
I’m from Texas and Gordon’s actually look better, which I’m surprised to say. He cooked his tortillas all the way through for one, but all together it just looks better.
As a Mexican I’d love to announce that Arron Sanchez DOES NOT represent nor cook in the part of Mexico
lol they were making love to the dishes when they were describing it lol
I would give my left avocado to try those tacos, both look muy delicioso!
He is very special to us so we wanted to share him with you
I wonder if the alarm went cause they where lighting their pans on fire
No doughty I Love both of you!!
woulda made a great fukin porno….porn hub would been proud.
Mere phone pe gaandu aate hai. Jinki koi aukaat khud ne nahi. Hoti. Borrow karne aate hai.
Hai na be lode ke baal. Bolta kyu nahi hai.
Reminds me of the uniqueness of Hearst’s Castle and how a fortunate man had money to play with and decided to create art.
Tha fact he’s actually motioned like a baseball player and said basketball is killing
Absolutely amazing! One can sense the structures are breathing!
I like the imaginación of Ramsay, Sanchez more towards original recipe.
Love it!
Thank you both for sharing your recipes.
¡Gracias!
Friend, as most plants don’t have any fragrance any longer, I use the modern, air freshener, plugged in the garden, with the similar fragrance of the flowers near by.
Their authentic friendship is what this world needs to see. Two amazing chef’s sharing a kitchen to cook a traditional Latino breakfast dish.
Vince McMahon is going to offer Gordon a WWE contract after seeing this
it’s beautiful, unfortunately, the people of xilitla does not take care about the growing of the town. they pollute alot. specially a very near river of las pozas. another concern is the corruption and the implied number of hotels that are been builded, they are razing the forest and killing the beautiful animal species. please, help.
godamn theyre just amiking scrambled eggs and but I cant see what theyre doing. theyre moving too fast. so this is what its like watching a battle between two hokages
Ninguno se los 2 p3nd3jos sabe hacer tacos!!!!! Mejor hagan otra pendejada
Hahaha egg tacos i can make better tacos just give me una tortilla hecha a mano con salt y una salsa bien picosa
I don’t understand when people say, “humbled by nature”i always feel ” uplifted, free, oneness, and unrestrained flowing love” maybe it is only in the name giving?
Are you that ignorant, Spanish and Mexican are totally different countries. You twat that was Muslim Spain. please get an education on history. the cloisters come from the roman style housing. please go an read before sounding like an idiot.
So great!!! Thanks again & again Kirsten. Touched by it being a tiny urban spot.. would like to link with the Tenderloin National Forest… some how get the urban oaisis bicycle folks together… (love the Santa Cruz compound too). I see the earthen building accents too… like the adobe brick shelf… like the man said, it is good to see a whale or the green or the worm dirt but there is something about the clay/sand warm earth hand built presence too!
Nice to see something positive about life in Mexico City. Just don’t get run over by the DHS delivery van. The simple roof water separation system was great to see.
Interesting garden. If I would have it to last I would build it in stone, not in concrete. Concrete is a dead material. Very dead.
Love this.it’s like fragments of a mansion in the middle of the jungle.I like the juxtaposition of the concrete with nature.this is beautiful.
On the contrary, I find the place dark. Beautiful and interesting how the structures unfold with the natural environment, however, it does have a dark edge to it.
Seems like both concrete and nature coexist here in the most unthinkable beauty and glory. Lucky are those who work there.
Loved this!!!! Two great Chefs, awesome food, and now I am hungry! Thank you for this!!!
Is nobody talking about the fact there eating her cow that she raised and considered asa d de family members
Gordon Ramsey doesn’t know how to flip a tortilla like a Hispanic mom.
This guy James must of had some great nightmares. Too much money. Too much drugs.
Interesting I heard of this now never having heard of it before. Very beautiful.
I can’t think of a better place to haunt! haha such a passion for this place.
I’m mad how Ramsey used so much oil n da Mexican can only used the chorizo as his oil
They should’ve kept Gods sauce, the yolks. Fried eggs with runny yolks makes for killer tacos. Skip the scrambled
you are a machine head? as unrelenting as nature? This is why theologians believe that matter is flawed.
While another even more potentially offensive fringe theory, is that this is a quality found in peoples on the furthest end of the electromagnetic spectrum, expressed as skin tone
But only because they are jammed and locked into position, by other peoples who are happy to sit on them
As they hold the energetic and thus planetary base, closest to the carbon platform of the Earth.
This is Europeans speaking for those with less say in what has been done to the planet. Groups who insist they will continue
This is where the Avatars should come to master the Avatar state.
There is no color, there are no flowers. No sound of birds. Porque?
Ramsey is a hustler. He makes youtube video tv series he is everywhere.
That’s my idea of the perfect yard! just give me a nice big Tent⛺ 1 for my dog.
& let nature have the rest!✌
One tree in container that is special to me is calamomdin…a bit like kumquat but turned into marmalade is fantactic I learned from an Fla relative to not, put,it into the ground bec when it gets mature you have an enormous tree with tiny fruit that fall and make a huge mess so in Guatemala I keep mine in a large pot and it produces enough fruit for my family’s preserves useAnother delicious fruit tree is a tangerine, called a mandarina in Guatemala…the preserves are so superior to oranges…my garden had lots of Seville oranges too many…took some out and yest the bloo,s are wonderful.
I’d love to buy land and build a small community who desire to have our homes merged with nature like this. Maybe 10 homes or so. No cars or driveways, just a small gated parking lot and trails.
This looks like the girl that got knock the fuck out by Amanda Nunez
I have been here, there is an amazing swallow pit near by, a video on my channel.
I live in Mexico City…. Where can I get this “have it” space.. Who can I contact? Land here in the city is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE.
TOO WET, DRAB, HUGE LACK OF COLOR AND SEEMS TO BE NO BIRD LIFE……..APART FROM THAT IT’S OK I GUESS.
Why they be naming these cattle I would feel so weird about eating somthing with a name lol
In the far future when our time is a list civilization archeologists are going to find this and be so confused trying to figure out what things were used for and where those stairs were supposed to lead to xD
Ramsey: What got you into farming
Rhonda: Zombies…
Exactly why Rhonda’s the GOAT
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL and Amazing I want to go there!
Surreal, magical unique.
Yo Aaron. Good cooking lesson for you. Putting chorizo and caso fresco in everything does not make you a good cook. Actually, the fact that you judge others on their cooking, makes me sick, because you can’t even cook yourself. Many other chefs, including myself, and Gordon Ramsay, could take you to the cleaners, when it comes to cooking. And you have the audacity to judge someone else????
I think the world should be more interested in aero/hydroponic system.. though the fertilizer cost is still too much.
The music Is from Spain. A country that Is completely far away from México
Increíble!
“I can’t think of a better place to haunt”… Neither can I.
We have been there….it felt by very Tolkien….Sir Edward James was pretty amazing…..
Kinda chokes you up a bit, huh? Absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful. Would love to see it in person for the first time on a misty morn.
This is glorious, I have been researching “landscape gardens design” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across Giyily Landscaping Yatty (should be on google have a look )? Ive heard some great things about it and my cousin got amazing success with it.
I have been growing plants hydroponically via the Kratky method with 0 electricity and only using compost tea. I do change out nutrients every other week to eliminate smells and stir nutrients occasionally to eliminate to much settling but its been very successful and when I change out I use my old water around the soil gardens and they are all happy.
How are millenials this indoctrinated and gullibly stupid???
Simple: Gordon is a man.
Well if you know how to make huevos a la Mexicana? This is is just add chorizo and hard shell tortilla. I would make it into a breakfast burrito.
So when it comes to the female ufc fighters. A British chief can crush them in seconds. Huh… kinda says something
dont care what anyone says I’d love to wake up to Ronda triangle choking me
This is disgusting the way she talks abouy loving the cow and then says and i brought u him to enjoy wtaf is that that womans a lunatic
My Glorious Goodness!! That is the most beautiful garden I’ve ever seen.
The garden (nature) is in charge and we are just passing through….
Me encanta, trasmite mucha paz. Su historia es muy interesante, me encanta <3
None of this has been done by her. She probably has a gardener who got the plants and takes care of them.
My Tijuana shopping list:
Fireworks, Cheap Liquor, Vanilla, piñatas and Spanish Fly.
That’s why ladies and gentlemen there’s a men’s division and a women’s division.
The women was a wonderful presenter. Nice job! Mexico City looks nicer then I imagined…
He is very special to us…..then they cut to him all chopped up…..no better way to say I love you.
I think it would take more than a cup of water to water that horizontal feature!
Both tacos look delicious!
I have small space too to grow everything I need but not spaces
Cool idea for the rain catchment! This is exactly what we talk about in our recent article on the immediate future of food. ( https://www.brightagrotech.com/the-immediate-future-of-food/) If you guys ever need help with simple Green Wall systems, feel free to reach out!
I can see these popping up in the apartment complexes where I live. In their unused parking spaces.
<3
That’s an awesome video. I live in Puerto Rico and I have a small space to grow because of my disability. I grow in my balcony and in my raised bed and I’m planning spread more people can grow in limited space and with small amount of money.
Memories of another life or planet or Earth before the moon was installed?……………………. Fabulous in the true meaning of the word! Enjoy
All I hear is you know you’re a real Mexican this and that. I bet you guys can’t even do not even a bit of these two gentlemen can do
it opened my eyes, to realize how bad this place is for me, my soul, where i’m living at in this moment and the tears in my eyes is proof i’m feeling right. Las Pozas is so beautiful an idea merged with nature together.
sorry for my bad english, hope you understand what i’m trying to say. We ALL are human beings #LiFE
She said not using Chemical agriculture….. I understand what she means but technically she is (most of all I have seen people are) still using PLASTIC/RUBBER material which is made with chemicals and storing anything in Plastic/Rubber will contaminate what you are growing and drinking. I stay away from Plastic, Rubber, and ALUMINIUM as much as possible regarding anything stored in them that will go into my body.
Anyone else catch ramsay trying to sautée the tortilla? Both tacos looked great.
Being here in northern Ohio it was neat to see the footage from Mexico City, thanks for sharing
I just discovered your videos and I love them! I learned so much cool stuff because of you.
I love how much range you have in your topics, and how genuine the conversations are.
Please continue! It’s so cool that someone is giving a more public voice to those projects!
Another great exploration, thanks Kirsten! you’re helping me shape my dream goals in life
Lovely to see! And show that it can be done in whatever tiny space you have. Even if it’s just one plant.
Hi Kristin. My name is Michael. I have just stared my own vegetable garden here in México. The climate and soil are very different from the conditions in the states. I am in Texcoco. I hope all is well with you and I hope to stay in contact and share ideas.:)
Agreed. As long as the keeper takes care of it, it would be a beautiful place to be eternally.
Loved this video. I am about three quarters done with my second tiny home which this time is in the form of a greenhouse. Learned a lot from this video and will implement what I saw. Thanks again for another great video.
Nature always wins! You need to find that balance where you nudge your earthly ideas of what you need and want in this garden and what nature wants to do. Remember, the perfect garden was Eden, and Adam and Eve were instructed to take care of it along with all the animals. It was a daily chore for both of them but they had perfection and no destructive forces like infestations and plant disease to contend with. All living matter in Eden grew back perfectly, no death was ever seen. That being said, Las Pozaz, needs a lot of work to preserve it going forward or you will simply see the garden and all its structures consumed by nature.
I have a wonderful tropical garden in the coffee highlands of Guatemala outside the colonial ex capital,of Antigua which is a UNESCO world heritage site. I am surrounded by coffee fincas on the skirt…la falda of Volcan Agua which gives me wonderful views of active Volcan Fuego and Volcan Acatenango. My husband has collected 100 orchids which rebloom each year….we have palms, ferns, many tropical plants such as agaves etc thatare, popular in Mexico too.. and 50 rose bushes because this area was famous for exporting cut rose s to the USA so we were able to buy directly from those growers, roses well adapted to this special micro climate. WE have high walls covered with confetti covered multi colored blooms of bougainvillea, collar de Reina, thumbergia in yellow and tourquoise flowers which attracts hummingbirds. The hummingbirds build their nests close by in our bougainvilla walls.
We went on a shopping trip,to Dolores Hidalgo, MX for talavera tiles, to Taxco for tin lanterns we electrified, I then handpainted Morrocan style tiles as an arched tile fountain wall and we found and we made a bubbler California style central fountain with a star shaped low retaining well. All of our Spanish style ironwork was made by superb local craftsmen.
This house and garden was a 15 year undertaking….built and planted slowly with love….it is the crowning achievement of our lives. Thankfully so far we have never had a frost, though one winter there was snow at the tops of the three surrounding volcanoes…no plant loss though…that would break our HEARTS! SO,I understand the passion, care and time it takes to achieve something like this, but it is the one thing in our lives we made purely to please us…and it gives us GREAT joy everyday to,be here! We thank Guatemala everyday for being such a kind and lovely country that welcomes strangers to share its incredible nature.
His was more typical ingredients..more of a traditional mexican food..the sausage were a key ingredient in it.. Yours were high class..too modern..or sophisticated..better representation..when we eat mexican food we are expecting spiciness.. Greasy..a little sloppy..lmao it has to look like it was homemade instead of fancy..
When you do container gardening do you need to make sure that the container is food safe? I am always worried about leeching into the plants and into the food.
Great all the way around! I notice Gordon used just a little bit of oil to warm up the tortilla… this is KEY! to have great tacos! That’s what I do… always… no matter what! I’m wondering where did Gordon pick that trick from! Gordon you got it! Only thing… cheese in a taco? Well… that is a north of the border thing… also Gordon’s pickle onion o cebolla morada en escabeche! This is awesome man. I’m sure you have been in Mexico before.. have you..
Chef Sanchez yes… a little sauté tomato with chorizo is a good trick too! Which one is best? I need to try them firs to tell you! Both are my next breakfast taco! I will let you know… how it went!
Dude WTF Aron’s tacos with papa and chorizo must be “Canasta Style” and those look muy Americans. Gordon’s tacos, well… Se ven de la verga.. Both tacos can’t be a decent match for “Pedrito tacos street”
in CDMX. NOOBS
Like a lost civilization that build statues, instead of building infrastructure.
isnt this the khunt that got so much media attention then got her ass kicked badly?
Great.the prince of Finland I’d moving too a tiny home micro gstden
Remember tacos la soft tortilla hard tortilla it’s flautas, in all México you can ask the 32 states
Yes Hidroponics is very wasteful. They should turn that system into an aquaponics system so they can reuse the water, grow fish and end up with 3X the growth. Check Murray Hallam for his method. Also not far away are the Chinamapas which is essentially the same thing only it includes earth and fungi without a pump. Look up the Chinampas of Xochimilco.
I hate that she keeps telling him how to cook.. like hes not gordon ramsey
It’s beautiful. A thousand years from now since it’s stylized people will wonder what civilization it’s from.
Gordon looks better the older he gets I base that off of how he looked in his documentary boiling point go watch it and you’ll see what I mean
Thank you for this video. Could you add more photos & videos of garden!!??
is noone else gonna talk about the fact that she bought the meat of the cattle she fed and took care of
Please contact theweritoshow (all together) Peruvian Food Fusion Show with the world! I would love to interview you for the Peruvians and the world! Your food is amazing! Contact me via Facebook or Instagram
As she noted, a garden like this is a delicate balance between adding and subtracting. Between the ornate and simple. Between human expression and nature’s vibrancy.
who else would let ronda rousey crush their skull with her legs?
Gordon: “I’m not gonna let her near my arm”
Also Gordon: “Do you wanna arm wrestle? “
wonderful video, thankyou. its shows what can be grown in tiny spaces. and not because its trendy, but needed. i love it.
She is annoying. She could get taken down a notch if you know what I mean
she’s had more face-lifts than a newyork sky scraper. nice garden.
Not a vegan. But how can you love an animal and then eat it?
Gordon: And then proposed to you?
Ronda: No, not yet.
Gordon: Aw shit
Did anyone else pause it at 10:39 and 11:07? Or is that just me?
The rock formation and..scuptural pieces are so embraced by the garden..it looks so secretive…being mysterious and beautiful at the same time..thankyou for this offering..
I am Montagnard indigenous I know some of those plants in my native language they are beautiful plants, flowers they grown wild but today Vietnamese came all destroyed by coffee, rubber trees plantations.
I really would like to see Bear Grylls in this show to teach Gordon how to eat bugs or other things.:D
GordonThat’s not good
Oh Gordon are you really gonna attempt that with Ronda?
GordonThat’s fucking delicious
Nice save Gordon, nice save.
Well i tried this at home…
Im grounded for literally a year
They’re bro’s for sure. Love their bromance. And Gordon, major faux pas starting with your tortillas first. They both sound yummy, but I would have to give it to Aaron, executed beautifully on both, but him and the tortillas are “spot on.”
How the fuck can someone slaughter a animal and wants to share it just for a fucking breakfast is beyond me.
Eeewwwww wash hands and put hair up! Bad basic sanitation practices.
I have the documentary about him by Avery Danziger in VHS! I found it on sale years ago from Half Price Books for $1.00. Still have a player. But I didn’t really know who he was and was fascinated by his garden then. It’s cool for this to come up in my Youtube feed.
