One of the primary ways to manage blood sugar is to consume a low-carbohydrate diet—that is, avoid the foods that can cause blood sugar spikes in the first place. People with insulin resistance or type 2 diabetes often use a low-carbohydrate diet to keep blood sugar levels stable and stay healthy.Use these tips to avoid having your blood sugar drop too low from either cause: Eat small meals and snacks spread throughout the day. Aim for every 3-4 hours. Stick with healthy eating habits.
To make sure your blood sugar won’t dive in the mornings, don’t eat 2 to 3 hours before going to bed and avoid sugary foods in the evening. To prevent a nighttime stress spike, pack your dinner with protein and lots of veggies.Stick to low carb foods like meat, fish, eggs, seafood, nonstarchy vegetables, and healthy fats.
Avoid foods that are high in carbs. A sample day of very low carb meals for people with diabetes.Calculate Your Nutrient Balance on a Low Carb Diet Too much protein stalls ketogenic diets and leads to nasty dragon breath. Use this calculator to eat the right amount of protein for your carb intake level.
Recent studies show consuming as little as a half teaspoon of cinnamon a day can reduce blood sugar levels by up to 29%, while also lowering triglyceride and cholesterol levels to reduce your risk of heart attack and stroke. When it comes to lowering blood sugar, cinnamon extract works even better than whole cinnamon.People with diabetes struggle with high blood sugar because their bodies either can’t use or don’t have enough insulin, a hormone critical in lowering blood glucose levels.Low-carb diets help people with diabetes easily reduce the amount of glucose available to the body.Eat small meals every 3 to 4 hours throughout the day, rather than 3 large meals per day.
Avoid foods high in saturated fats or trans fats. Choose foods with a low glycemic index score.8 Tips to help the med style low carb diet work on your blood sugar. Aim for variety and to eat plenty of green and non starchy vegetables. Keep trying new things to maintain interest and nutritional balance.
Soups are surprisingly satiating, cheap & practical.A low-carb diet can help people with diabetes better manage their blood sugar levels. Carbohydrates or carbs raise blood glucose more than other. It’s not too uncommon to have slightly high fasting blood sugar on low carb and keto diets. Is this a problem?
It depends on your insulin levels, as outlined by Dr. Ted Naiman below. If you’re insulin sensitive, and have slightly higher fasting blood glucose, it’s likely just fine. For people that follow a Low carb/Keto diet and intermittent fasting, numbers do matter, but when the fasting blood sugar is out of whack due to stress, cortisol is the problem. The solution is to remove the stress so that your fasting blood sugar will come down.
Coconut is an all-around superfood and one of the best things to make a staple in your diet. There’s coconut oil, butter, flakes, milk, and even flour. Each of these provide unique benefits and uses for helping to balance blood sugar. First of all, coconut is an excellent source of healthy fats, particularly medium chain triglycerides (MCT).
According to an article in Diabetic Living magazine, other foods and drinks that make great additions to a blood-sugar-stabilizing diet include apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, green tea, herbal teas, fresh herbs and spices. (3) 2. Switch Up Your Carbs & Sweeteners.Dinner may seem challenging for someone on a low carb diabetic diet, but a grilled piece of lean meat like fish or steak paired with steamed spinach and a side of quinoa can provide both a low carb and high flavor meal that will not only help keep blood sugar levels stable, but also provide balanced nutrition too.

Good for him! Have to say, beginning the day with carbs will have you hungry all day. Begin without them and you’ll stay fuller longer.
Fruit is hands down the best sugar your body needs! It heals!
I suffer from really bad hypoglycemia and also have PCOS. I usually just eat cooked millet for breakfast. Do you think that the chia pudding will make me feel full?
Congratulations Marc. What an inspiration you are. Thank you muchly for sharing, & take care. ❤
I’ve found when on a Keto diet that if I have trouble sleeping sometimes, having even a teaspoon of honey before bed will improve my sleep tremendously. I think this also depends on the amount of stress during the day.
That’s a lie. Try actually testing your blood sugar….. like most people on keto do. So tired of professionals lying their asses off.
When you have lost weight, can u go back to a normal carb diet
Borderline type2 diabetes too much carbs told my doctor i will cut down on bread pasta rice potatoes because I do lose weight slowly
You can bet his life he was eating a lot of fat. That’s what causes insulin resistance. Not sugar by itself. Croissants are more than half fat.
He said ‘I like baguettes and croissants’ but (@ 1:06) he adds: “It was hard to give up, but I realized, it doesn’t do me any good.” That’s it! It’s practical, it works and he made the best decision.
If you want to remove diabetic issues and wish to change to a healthier life-style, then you could count on this “Vαnοjο Fivu” (Google it). The manual have taught me about how cells aren`t able to feed on glucose because of fat. ”Vαnοjο Fivu” (Search Google) helps me treat diabetic issues and avoid its serious and even lethal outcomes..
Where are all these “case studies”. Doctors Berg, Barry, Boz, D’agostino, etc all state their are studies to prove what is saying here as backwards. Only 69 comments in 4yrs says a lot more than the video. David Feldmen did a two year studied on himself with 100s of blood tests to make better sense of this. I have watched a couple of these vids and honestly are a little more than tough to watch.
My problem is sourdough bread haven’t had it for months and months now. but there comes a time when you have to realize the thing you love is not good for you ☹️
High fat low carb saved my life. Within weeks I normalized my glucose levels, lost 35lbs, gained muscle, and improved my feeling of well being. I’m not going back to being a carb eater.
So, it’s low carb. There needs to be more of an explanation of “low carb” because fresh fruits and vegetables are carbs. I think low carb means removing starchy carbs from the diet. Breads, pastas or any refined grain products. Correct?
So glad i found u. I have PCOS and Endometriosis and I need more plant based meals. Thanks…
Sharing this with my local diabetes support group. Fantastic.
I’m very thankful my dietician is allowing me to low carb and seems to be low carb aware. Her last remarks were watch your fiber, drink an extra liter of water, and keep your 4-5 servings of veggies and berries.
The videos should be titled “TWO PUSSIES” The guy with microphone is a “sarcastic idiot” The other guy works for the high fructose bread and cereal companies (money).
I’ve lost weight on keto but my bg is high I can’t figure it out! I guess it’s the fiber. Thanks for the info.
This “Vαnοjο Fivu” (Google it) can assist you achieve a healthier way of life and be free of diabetic issues concurrently. As I`ve read it, I learned how fat impedes cells from feeding on glucose. ”Vαnοjο Fivu” (Search Google) helps me treat diabetic issues and avoid its serious and even fatal outcomes..
I was clinically determined to have diabetic issues almost a year ago. I`m presently 64 years of age. I can`t believe that I`ve got diabetic issues and it scares me that I will also endure the same struggles like my dad did. The good news is, I have found this brilliant guideline “Vαnοjο Fivu” (Google it). The main test outcomes reveal that my glucose was at 183 and my A1C was 7.3. After a week of reading the program, I`ve managed to decrease my A1C to 5.9..
Right, nice story as this result is becoming the norm, ADA is wrong, so is the medical community in general Medicine by Chemistry presents its own problem… we can track our own Carbohydrate Intolerance… just by graphing… every one is different… but greater that 50 g of carbs per day can be issue for many, in fact most, so easy to graph. But tracking is best to determine individual requirements… since there is no Known Carbohydrate Deficiency Disease.. there is no reason to eat carbs… certainly not more that 100g per day.
And yes the LCHF works as advertised with many benefits, first of which is your just not hungry..
70 Going On 100… the Centenarian Diet
Same with me dietitian says will be on insulin in ten years, three years later, my readings are perfectly normal, no meds, just diet, my doc said just test yourself once a month, but still test often,.
Im into low carbs to no carbs at all my sugar is 84, lots of vegetables and fruits except fruits that are sweet, cauliflower rice and whole grains wheat bread.
Tom Malterre, I’ve followed your work closely for years. While I’m disappointed you posted this interview, I also understand that managing diabetes with the LCHF diet may not be an area of interest for you, which is okay. You’ve helped me with other aspects of my health over the years. As a functional medicine practitioner, I think, I hope, you understand that the cortisol surges Dr. Christianson’s patients are experiencing on the LCHF diet are normal and transient as the body shifts from “sugar burning” to “fat burning” during the first few weeks on the diet. If this problem continued, the patient could stop the diet or consult with someone who understands how the LCHF diet works for additional guidance and support. There is no one diet that works for everyone, something I wish Dr. Christianson understood.
foodnsport and boutenko family films explain how fat is the problem with diabetes rather than carbs
@natureasintended FAT is not the problem for diabetics. carb is.
Instead of some film, LOOK AT REAL SCIENCE…
Oh thank you for this video. I am a Type 2 diabetic (A1c 5.4) and hyperthyroid (rapidly weight loss all this summer) and over night blood sugars rising some 30 to 50 points over night (gluconeogenesis). I do follow a low carb diet, and also intermittent fasting trying to “reverse diabetes”. I stop eating at 4 pm. I have tried everything to lower over night blood sugars. Snack (made the situation worse), exercise (no difference) and fiber supplements (inulin and glucomannan) which did help some. All the work I put into controlling blood sugar only to find that its not the carbohydrates that need to be eliminated completely. And I didn’t understand this until Dr. Christianson’s new book: The Adrenal Reset Diet, arrived in the mail a few days ago. Case study? This is what is happening to me and there was no explanation until now. It would seem that insulin, thyroid, and cortisol are all interconnected in ways that have not been explained to diabetics. So please keep up the good work, Dr. Christianson. I need to know more. Specifically, how are diabetes, hyperthyroid, and cortisol interrelated? Its not just the adrenals that need to be reset-there needs to be a whole endocrine system make over.
Oh yes. Im 75, and probably would be healthy if it not for the insulin-cortisol-thyroid dysfunction.
Mine, after 2.5 months low carb (70-80g/day), glucose raised from 5.1 to 5.4 (normal range should be <=5.5). What did I do wrong?:(
Hey, couple questions…are you saying that we should eat fats proteins n carbs together n if so what would a plate/bowl of that look like? Also, did u suffer from any stomach issues such as food intolerances, ibs, candida? If so, did any of these food mainly rice (grains) trigger a response?
It’s sad when someone thinks more about posing than what she says, especially when talking about people health.
Thank you for this post. I went on keto and ended up with folate deficiency anemia because i cut out alot of great sources of folate that are found in carb rich foods like citrus fruits, grains, beans, lentils etc i just couldnt eat the quantity of greens needed to compansate for loosing all other sources. I was worried what this meant for me as i couldnt follow the ‘most healthy’ diet and now i feel alot better.
Blood sugar is NOT insulin, it’s an indicator of insulin level
last time i check blood sugar it is about 280. i ate no more carbohydrate. nothing. just meat, eggs, veggies, fruits, sometimes cheese and milk. and look, my blood sugar decrease amazingly to 150! i never achieve this score for about 5 years!! it always about 200 and more! and i just take this diet about 3 days. i will continuously follow this diet. oh i found out about this dies only 3 days before so i thank for whosoever posting this diet plan! i hope it can save my life as one of my colleagues was past away because of complications, and one is now in ICU. so sorry for my two colleagues, but i will spread out this words! oh, i forgot. yes i feel so limp like hell, but i can eat apple or banana anytime. i no longer depend on diabetic medications. thank you so much Lord God.
Millions have reversed diabetes with high fat and low carb, me included!
As a type 2 diabetic, I quickly learned when first starting the low carbohydrate ketogenic diet (LCKD) that there is an adjustment period as the body shifts from “sugar burning” to “fat burning”, typically in the first weeks. During this time, I would sometimes experience what I would describe as “cortisol surges” which would bump up my blood glucose levels in the morning if I didn’t make and eat breakfast within 30 minutes of waking, also if I became hungry later in the day. It helped knowing that these effects were transient, and went away after a few weeks. For the former, eating promptly after getting out of bed worked. For the latter, eating a snack that contained fat worked: a handful of raw nuts, some olives, half an avocado. The hardest part of this diet is switching out the carbs for lots of healthy fats because we’ve been conditioned for decades to not eat fat. During this adaptation period, the body stops holding onto water and salt, so it’s important to drink lots of water throughout the day, increase salt intake (to lessen “carb flu” symptoms), and take a magnesium supplement (if muscle cramping develops; I personally use magnesium citrate or citramate). It’s also important to mention here that I did not do this alone. I read the diet chapters in Dr. Bernstein’s book, and I found an online diabetes website that included a discussion forum in the United Kingdom that had a Low-carb Diet Forum where I got additional guidance and support. Within a month, my blood glucose dropped from where I started to where it is today: A1c of 9.9% down to 5.4%. Lipid panel is within or just outside of the normal range. C-reactive protein is just above normal range. I lost 25 pounds. The diet is working beautifully for me. I alternate between LCKD and LCHF (a low carbohydrate, high fat, moderate protein) diet. My health has greatly improved. I accomplished this with daily walks, the diet, and no medication. I’m angry that no one told me about this diet when I crossed over into pre-diabetes in 2003, and type 2 diabetes in 2005. Dr. Christianson is a naturopathic medical doctor whose area of interest is thyroid disorders, not diabetes (I confirmed this by visiting his website and by doing a Google search on “Dr. Alan Christianson diabetes”). He does not understand how the low carbohydrate, high fat, moderate protein (LCHF) diet or low carbohydrate ketogenic diet (LCKD) works, I assume because of his personal bias against paleo and low carb diets. That’s fine. Whole food, plant-based (WFPB) diets work well for some people, particularly those who are not insulin resistant. I encourage Dr. Christianson to do a search on these doctors (most of whom have 15 years or more experience using this diet with their patients, noted in parentheses): Richard Bernstein (early 80’s), MD, Michael Eades, MD (late 80’s), Ron Rosedale, MD (90’s), and Eric Westman, MD (early 2000’s), and more recently, Mark Hyman, MD, and Daniel Amen, MD. All have written books on their success treating their diabetic patients with this diet. For an excellent overview of the research on the LCKD, do a search on these doctors: Stephen Phinney, MD, PhD, Jeffrey Volek, PhD, and Eric Westman, MD. The LCHF diet and LCKD doesn’t work well for all type 2 diabetics, but it does work well for many. I’m on the LCHF diet now. From the beginning, I’ve eaten nutritionally dense, plant-based foods with all meals with a moderate amount of clean animal protein and lots of healthy fats because that’s what works best for me. For those 2 diabetics who eat a vegan or vegetarian diet, and want to try a plant-based, LCHF diet, Franziska Spritzler, RD, CDE is a good resource. She has a blog and published a book in 2015.
Wonderful information, even more evidence exists for this today. Keep up the good work.
How about peer reviewed studies. Correlation is not causation.
I love how you make every meal colorful! Looks so appetizing!!
Jackson ❤️ how old is Jackson? He doesn’t seem very playful and energetic. Is he an old pup?
Dr Berg would eat this guy up for lunch! Low carbs diets work for diabetes!
I tried signing up for your newsletter but don’t think it went thru? Also tried to buy book also not sure if that went thru. It was to fmeneely@ hotmail.com
We are all different I am 60 and had trouble with low blood sugar most of my life. I now eat low carb high fat and have never felt so good, no more low sugar, loads of energy. My husband loves his carbs and can eat them and not put weight on, so yes we are all different.
dude wtf. next time start out letting us know u are a cancer fighter. tf
I`ve always had a bit of extra fat and I never believed I might discover a diet that could possibly help me to eliminate it until I tried the “fizy unique plan” (Google it). Look up the “fizy unique plan” on Google for yourself and see how simple it can be. You`ll enjoy it, believe me.
shift almost all carbs on keto to the morning to keep cortisol in check, shift the protein away from the breakfast to the last meal to keep blood sugar level in check. this way you have less food cravings, stable energy and body fat burning if needed. it’s great
Most keto diets are rich in green vegetables. Plus Dr.Alan does not look healthy..
This is not true. I have been on LCHF for 2 weeks now and checking my blood sugar twice daily. It just hovers around 90-100 mg/dl 1 hour after food. I never had my sugars so low when I had my regular high carb diet.
I have ruin my life on low carb high fat
Before lchf diet my fasting sugar was always under 95 and after Mel mostly under 105
I started lchf diet and within 3 weeks my fasting sugar gone extremely high like 140
And after meal it is 175 and the worst part is it is not coming down on the old numbers
I am really sad and feeling like a loosed:'(
eating the bananas before they ripe is better, resistant starch. Cutting out fruit completely is not a good idea. Berries are low glycemic
Tonka beans (powder) is also great in sweet dishes and drinks like that. Slightly more intense taste than vanilla and less expensive, too. Tastes like vanilla and marzipan and spices all at ones. You would never think it’s a natural product, it totally tastes like delicious but unhealthy flavoring
Awesome video! My view is many doctors either don’t know, or they’re in with the big pharma’s for the money. My endo had me on the food pyramid and 180 carbs per day…just started keto 2 weeks ago with intermittent fasting after 3 days in the hospital with ketoacidosis. Feel great and insulin down from 75 to 20u per day. Can’t wait to see my endo next week and show him my results so far…
This “Vαnοjο Fivu” (Google it) is the most practical as well as easy to understand plan for overall health and also treating diabetes. Apart from being simple to follow, this diet program and also lifestyle transformation won`t stress you about carb or calorie tracking! My transition to a more healthy way of life hasn`t only helped me lose fat but also overcome diabetic issues as well as high blood pressure! The guide can certainly help you cure diabetic issues..
My husbands a1c went from 9 to 6.1 one month of high fat low carb…. No more Meds after 10 years! Low carb includes greens…
But sir carbohydrate increase blood glucose levels so how it beneficial?
Ancel Keys,…in 1977 changed the lives of “unknowing Americans,…for decades….much for the worse!
Yudkin, was a writer,… ended the first Chapter: “I hope that when you have read this book I shall have convinced you that sugar is really dangerous.” This message was extremely unwelcome to the sugar industry and manufacturers of processed foods and these firms employed a number of methods to impede Yudkin’s work. The final Chapter of Pure, White and Deadly lists several examples of attempts to interfere with the funding of his research and to prevent its publication. It also refers to the rancorous language and personal smears used by Ancel Keys to dismiss the evidence that sugar was the true culprit. Acek Keys,…should have remained in his “fish studies”.
Franziska,…have you found any changes in your:
1) hair profile,…growth rates?
2) your libido; u or husband with higher fat diet changes?
what time frames did you experience,…or not.
3) major “fat storage” changes over time? This stuff is important…. I’m an RN, with the desire to teach in 2018 on this topic. Cheers!
Low carb, high fat, moderate protein, all the ingredients must be right or you get protein being converted to glucose. I track mine daily and never have elevated glucose levels. Appears you are only presenting negative results a nutrition plan that has been improperly implemented. The scientific facts support Nutritional Ketosis as a healthier way of eating and superior in creating wellness over carb based diets.
But while you’re being diplomatic and respectful, they’re continuing to kill people with their prejudice couched in undeserved prestige.
thanks for the video. I followed this natural treatment: thebigdiabetes-lie. com (Google it)
and in 2 weeks my sugar levels started to fall to normal levels.
If I cant sleep at night, i just eat 2 tbsp of cooked rice or bread and I sleep like a baby.
I’ve stopped putting doctors on pedestals since learning they can be quite wrong. I do my own research now.
I really appreciate this video. Its helped me as I was LC for so long, I couldnt even handle any stress. And my glucose kept getting higher! I switched to lower fat moderate carb, doing much better.
One food I haven’t tried yet that I have been meaning to is Kelp noodles. Thought of it because you are trying to be lower carb. Have you had them? Another thing I want to try is making flax seed crackers, tortillas, and pizza crust. Done the homemade cauliflower crust, its always mushy!
This happened to me. I went on a carnivore diet and could only last 16 days. First of all, I wasn’t eating enough fat or calories. I had diarrhea every day of the diet. My heart raced the entire timed. Used electrolytes but it didn’t help. BS never went above 140 nor did it go below 110. Stopped carnivore, 3 days later, caught a cold. I’m over the cold now but still feel absolutely awful. Now, I’m doing just a low carb diet.
Had labs done and my fasting glucose was 157. I’ve never had a fasting glucose that high. I told my doc about the diet and my symptoms and he believes my cortisol levels shot up. Even now, especially when I’m trying to sleep, I get these surges where my heart races, I feel anxiety, and I’m sure my sugar is high and I am eating very little carbs.
I’m going to start adding in some fruit carbs today to see if it helps. I’m pretty sure my cortisol is to blame for my wild BS readings.
I would like to see a debate with this guy and Jason Fung………I would pay for that event!
“I recommend this guide:

So grateful it exists in 2020.”
Low carb diet might do that..if there is not enough energy to come in from the foods…low carb should be combined with higher fat intake.. because yes then you can be in crisis state and elevate cortisol thus insulin thus fat storing occurs..
I feel like I watch every WIAT video put up onto YouTube and yours are ALWAYS the best!
I just recently subscribed to your channel. I’m vegan and a registered nurse, so I’m loving your videos. Would love to see a fridge/pantry tour. Also, I tend to overbuy each week to “stock up”. Nothing ever goes to waste but it can sometimes be hard on the budget. Maybe an updated food budget video or how you curb your spending on groceries?
Curious to know how this biofeedback interaction of carbs and cortisol impacts individuals with Type 1 Diabetes. Same principles? or is the biochemistry different?
not true glucose from gluconeogenesis will never be as high as from carbohydrate intake, there is a negative feedback to the liver, please provide data
I enjoy your videos a lot! I discovered your channel very recently:) Btw, the “camera” link in the description only points me at the Amazon website:/
I eat rice two meals. My eating window 6hours.I do also dry fasting and Water fasting every day. I reverse my diabetes. Take every thing without sugar and process food.Dry fasting is miracle.
I’ve been making chia seed pudding for years and NEVER thought to make it warm! I tried it this morning after seeing this video and I am addicteddd!
Funny, I thought glucagon threshold would kick in before cortisol kicks in. I believe this needs to be researched more.
Crusty bread is my downfall too, can give up cakes, biscuits, crisps but bread is my nemesis.
You guys are fantastic for sharing all this info. Thanks a lot!
Have there been any studies done on whether there is a difference in how your body processes natural sugar in fruits vs. table sugar?
Is that your final answer? Of course it is, you’re vegan morons.
Now for the next talk: Fat and protein restriction: The key to achieving optimal blood insulin levels and heal type 2 diabetes.
In 2015 we all should know that we need to track both insulin and blood glucose levels together. You can obviously suppress high blood glucose levels by not consuming that glucose while your diabetes is getting worse and worse at the same time.
If you are serious about type 2 diabetes therapy, you primarily want to pay attention to insulin levels. The gold standard to healing type 2 diabetes is to get your fat and protein intake down (to about 5% each of your total calories), eat foods and meals in such a way that carbs are slowly absorbed throughout the day and add proper exercise (low intensity, long durations). Once your normal normal insulin sensitivity and secretion are restored, you can stay dibetes free for the rest of your life as long as you stick to a healthy diet.
Honestly, who is interested in ‘managing’ a disease while it slowly progresses when you can get rid of it? Can’t be the patients, must be the health care professionals…
P.S.: I am quite sure you did not follow a real high carb lifestyle (vegan, whole foods, 5-10% fat and protein calories each, burn 25% of calories eaten by exercise, sleep at least 8 hours per night, drink enough water, keep stress levels low,…) but what you considered high carb.
P.S.: I have eaten 800g of carbs per day for the last 18 months. Fasting blood glucose went down from 90mg/dl to about 60ng/ml. I am now fit and not hungry when I wake up and can run or ride my bike in a fasted state without problems. The ups and downs I experienced back in the days when I was eating a standard diet, including sugar cravings, have completely disappeared. After a typical breakfast (1000kcal of carbs) I have energy for many hours sometimes I forget lunch and have to be reminded that it is time to eat. I also lost about 70 pounds. Before that I tried this ‘cut your carbs’ thing for 2 years, and it was a nightmare.
Not totally correct here. You did mention whole plant foods, but a low fat diet is recommended. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/diabetes/in-depth/diabetes-diet/art-20044295
will there be any side effects or body reactions in when changing to this diet? If so what could they be?
I’m just gonna eat whatever the fuck I want because every single ‘expert’ says something different. My grandparents are still going strong at 84 and 85 and they have drank and eaten shit all their lives. It’s all just BS. Don’t eat like a fat pig and do some exercise, doesn’t take a genius or an ‘expert’ to work that out.
Low carb diet does NOT work for stressed people. First get stress out of your life, then go on a low carb diet. Then you will see result fast. First step is to stop drinking coffee. Coffee is the enemy of a low carb diet. Coffee puts the body in a fight or flight mode. That’s why you feel awake from a cup of coffee and crash just 40 minutes later and want some more.
My friend recommended this “Vαnοjο Fivu” (Google it) for my weight and diabetic issues. This guide the best fitness and also diet regime to go by. After 1 day on the diet regime my blood sugar levels was decrease about Thirty five points, and by day 4 it was lower about 60 points. That worked well, on the other hand, and that I felt great. I am delighted that my blood glucose is much better now…

I think finding you today was not a coincidence I am overweight, blood sugars are up, BMI is about 41!!!, I really need help and have been totally floundering on my own. You might have saved my life! So grateful for these videos I will be watching every one of your videos ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you you both for your expertise. Low carbohydrates and good fats works for me. Also I recommend the elimination diet for the individual with gut sensitivities.
A few of my workmates adhered to the “fetching tuti space” plan (Google it) and managed to drop about 13 lbs! Learning about this intrigued me to Google such plan too. After giving it a go, I was also able to achieve weight loss. I`ll keep posting updates to inform you if this gets far better or worst being that this has just been a week after all..
fructose doesn’t spike blood sugar, that was the whole point of the high fructose syrup, come on people
I think he meant “soluble” fiber in grains and beans. Keto and paleo are full of insoluble fiber. It’s the soluble fiber that’s found in more abundance in grains and beans. It’s what forms the stools. Think rice, potatoes, and crackers.
In paleo and keto, fat is forming the stool, not insoluble fiber.

I discovered “Vαnοjο Fivu” (Google it) from my buddy and read it to burn fat and cure my diabetic issues. I had been following a firm exercise as well as diet regime. Right after 1 day on the diet plan my blood sugar levels was down about Thirty five points, and by day 4 it was lower about Sixty points. That worked well, nonetheless, and that I felt great. I am delighted that my blood glucose is a lot better now…
I lost 19 lbs while following the diet program “fetching tuti space” (Google it). Thanks for the excellent results! I absolutely recommend you Google the “fetching tuti space” yourself and try it.
Agreed low card diets can force your body to produce more cortisol, mainly because it has no other fuel source because low carb diets are typically low fat. Additionally, low carb diets are typically high protein, In this case your body will convert unused protein into glucose. Presence of glucose, creates insulin, prevents the accessing of fat for energy.
However, is the same true when following a keto diet. In a keto diet, you are taking in high fat low protein and even lower carbs. At some point your body will become keto adaptive, meaning it will use fat as it’s source of fuel, hence not stressing the body, which will limit the production of cortisol.
Essentially, the point i’m trying to make is that there is a big difference in low-carb diet and keto diet.
Thoughts?
High fat and low carb since May. Blood glucose levels normalized in 1 week. Stopped taking insulin. Have lost 50 lbs as a side benefit.
oh gosh I didn’t know that there was people that laugh with “biological jokes” as I do, hahahhaa. Thanks for the easy to follow explanations!
Finally somebody addressing my issue!! Thank you. Seems like people are unwilling to address that some people have this issue.
I love that laugh its infectious. It is nice to see someone thinking outside the box for a change. Very interesting. Every human body works in its own individual way. Cortisol is an extremely complex and necessary hormone with many needs and uses, It releases at varying intervals throughout the day and it`s not just carbs that effect this release process.
My A1c went from 5.4 to 8.7 in 3 months on a vegan diet. Now I am on Keto and it normalized in two weeks. You fools have it backwards
pick a hormone, pick a diet, sell products, make money.. there, everything about any diet
The reason keto works for most people is because 75% of the population is fat/protein efficient (fast oxidizers) HOWEVER for the 22% that are carb efficient aka the slow oxidizers or the poor 3% (the mixed oxidizers) a keto diet would herald extreme problems such as rapid weight gain and a quick onset of insulin resistance.
@Franziska Spritzler Loved your speech. Thank you.
I did, however, disagree on your comment regarding speaking to dietitians.
Dietitians are professionals. Professionals are supposed to always be updating their skills. They do not live in a vacuum and should do their own research and stop being tools for BigAG/BigBiz marketing, falling prey to and using their biased outdated information.
They ARE killing their patients and the onus should NOT be on the public or the patient to educate them. The responsibility falls squarely in their lap.
