I just retained more information faster than i have ever in a class by watching this video. You have such an easy voice to listen to
Does B12 need to be taken separately or can it be taken in a B-Complex vitamin?
Thanks for the video!! Are there simmilar products that would be available in the U.K.?
Provestra® is a proprietary blend of the highest quality herbs, nutrients, and aphrodisiacs,

Women today are faced with extremely busy lives:
We juggle careers, kids, husbands, housework, aging parents, and more — and this
leaves us with little time to worry about proper nutrition, never mind exercise!
Then, as if that’s not enough, our bodies don’t always seem to cooperate, as hormonal changes that come…
Post-pregnancy
As part of monthly menstruation
With menopause
As a result of exposure to synthetic estrogens
And with poor diet, lack of exercise & stress
… All leave us feeling even more exhausted, run down — and even less interested in making time for sex!
https://www.provestra.com/ct/566351 its time now!!!
I reacted to this video like you reacted to Kourtney Kardashians skincare routine. There’s a bit of misinformation here… yikes
There’s countless videos from people who took Biotin saying it made them break out and others from estheticians saying it’s because Biotin makes you overproduce keratin and people with acne are already overproducing so it just makes it worse a lot of times. I personally haven’t taken biotin consistently enough to firmly remember any correlation but I’m kind of scared to bother trying.
I just went out and bought a bottle of B12 today and thankfully I saw these comments bec Biotin always breaks me out so I’m assuming B12 would as well from reading some of the comments and seeing others experiences with it. Whew! Thankfully I caught this before I took it. Bec I FINALLY just recently got my skin to clear up after struggling with bad skin for most of my life. I am definitely interested to see what Cassandra finds out about the scientific research behind this. I would find it so interesting to see why B12 and Biotin are having negative effects on ppls acne. Love you to pieces Cassandra! ❤️✝️ #animallivesmatter
I was told Magnesium is good for nerve problems by a health shop as I suffer from sciatic nerve pain from lower back issues also have taken various vitamins like vit d, c and e. And also take seven seas cod liver oil on and of for years, obviously not all these together just when I feel I’m lacking someting also have taken malt extract but I used to take it as a child love the taste which is a bonus
i read that taking murad long term is unhealthy to your liver because of the super high dosage of vitamin a.. do you have any comment on that?
What a beautiful lady. Many hugs from SuZannah Bee in the UK.
Cassandra, after watching this video, I’m curious if you’ve taken a deep dive into the ingredient list of Halo, a supplement that was created by Tati Westbrook, a massive beauty influencer here on Youtube.
Its advertised as a hair, skin and nails supplement and you can find the website by simply typing ‘Tati Halo’ into Google search.
The reason I’m so interested, as was the rest of the beauty community at the time of its release, specifically because there was a ton of backlash due to a few key ingredients Tati included. It got so bad that Tati had to make two different videos to address all of the criticism.
But here’s where it gets interesting…a few different creators decided to purchase the product and use it as recommended for well over a few months. And each one of them fully expected to confirm with their subscribers that the supplements were nothing but a placebo and a money grab for Tati.
Except after it was all said and done, every single person that invested the time to fully review the supplements, ALL agreed that they did in fact see a difference in the appearance of their skin, and that if it weren’t so expensive, they’d have all continued to use it!
Now it seems as though she’s released a second supplement, Kiwi Seed Booster, which is primarily geared towards skincare. I would love it if you could take the time to look into both of these products and let us know what your assessment is, solely based off of ingredient lists. Please:)
What do u think about panthothenic acid vitamin b5? I see a lot of videos about how it helped people with acne.
https://youtu.be/rC5mgl_YBYU This B5 Vitamin pantothenic acid has been hyped on the Internet. Can you please do a video on this, if this will work for Adult acne.
I went to buy the Murad ones and they have fish in them they don’t say that on the murad site but if you buy them from ultra it says they contain like 7 different types of fish
Hi! Thank you for all the great info! Do you take all 3 of these daily? Also, it looks like they don’t make the hair, skin, nail + biotin anymore. Can you recommend an alternative? Thanks!
My mom is obsessed with this MLM company called “Neolife” and I just keep trying to tell her she is wasting her money. At first she was going to “make money “ off of it but now she’s spending it with them. If you did a video on this I would love you forever ( I still will ). We are foreign and my mom doesn’t understand why the mlm thing isn’t good and their products ingredients don’t look good to me but you know more then I do. Anyway sending you hugs and happy 4th
I just watch this just so I can know how to take care of my hair lol, I know I’m weird; but ayyy let me be ok
Cassandra Bankson, just found your channel and am binge watching at 230 am. Can you tell me the differences between omega 3,6,9 and dha and epa. Sorry if this is a stupid question but ever since I was pregnant and had to take dha I have been wondering and you seem to explain things in a simple and accurate way. Thanks
I have acne prone skin and my doctor asked me not take b12 as it will increase / inflamate acne.
Being healthy might be complicated, but you have to understand everything you are taking to your body… Wow this video is very educating
Ive heard good things about Seabuckthorn supplements for skin. Im currently finishing a DIM supplement which helped clear my hormonal neck acne in conjuction with collagen that contains vitamin C. This combo of supplements along with my SmartyPants gummy multivitamins have cleared my skin immensely. I have tried other vitamins like zinc, B12, omega 3 6 9 for acne but have not worked for me. I went to get a blood test and my doctor found high amounts of vitamin B and calcium in my blood and I was lacking in Iron. That was a few years ago when I was taking different types of supplements and no multivitamins. I find that multivitamins balances your supplement intake. To anyone taking supplements, please do a blood test to make sure you are not taking too much of one thing. On that note, Has anyone tried DIM for acne?
Hello, do you know if there is a UK supplier of the Murad pure skin clarifying supplement or a UK alternative?
https://www.westonaprice.org/health-topics/cod-liver-oil/update-on-fermented-cod-liver-oil/
Read about a study recently that too much B-12 is linked to acne. That it changes the gene expression of the acne causing bacteria to create more inflammation.
Bentonite clay. Valcanic Ash. Natural minerals are packed in it. Works wonders as clay mask for acne too. Also great for detoxing with.
You are awesome! Over the last 5 months my hormonal acne has gone from a 3 to a 7 (scale of 10) I have never had issues with my skin before this and am trying to learn as much as possible. Love your science passion! I have just started trying to solve the problem as these wee spots (Scottish BTW) are not budging. Your videos are really interesting and inspiring! I have started using evening primrose, DIM & a basic vitamin B complex. Do you think that I should buy specific vitamin B supplements? I have heard Vitamin B6 is also helpful. x
I hate how cinnamon tastes so I THATS why I take a cinnamon supplement instead.
Thanks Cassandra, but shouldn’t one first have a full blood count test to determine whether there’s a deficiency? If there’s no deficiency, and the body only absorbs so much as it requires, then surely the supplements will just get pee’ed down the loo?
What about pantothenic acid? I see a lot of people saying it cured their acne
Blah blah lots of pointless talking…plus too heavy on the make up. No one wears coloured blusher anymore
Im surprised you didnt mention DHA + EPA in the fish oils. Just incaseJoel fuhman has a very high quality vegan supplement from algae that is fresh and refrigerated!
I recently started taking the MyKind Organics Prenatal multivitamins even though I’m not pregnant I’d heard people take them and they make them “feel better “… I think they’ve been helping my energy and nail growth. ♀️
Biotin can actually cause acne! Everybody is different but it is likely
If you ever want a quality fish oil, I have used Barleans and Nordic Naturals. They have many different types and ratios and all are great that I have used. A bit pricey but worth it. If a fish oil smells “fishy” then is rancid and not fresh.
I just learned that biotin is bad for thyroid health! Sneaky how it’s in so many supplements needlessly
Don’t take fish oil pills/ oils etc. Instead, eat 1 spoon of linseed / flaxseed oil. My awesome neurologist advised me to eat 1 spoon of it daily (directly or on salads etc) and told me it has all the omegas and their content is way higher than fish oil.. I’ve read about it and she’s right! Just make sure the flaxseed oil is a quality one, bio and cold pressed. She’s recommended it to help with brain function but I’ve also seen great improvements on my acne too.
Hey Cassandra! I have been trying to look for some supplements for better skin care and I would LOVE to know your thoughts on the “ BEVERLY HILLS MD DERMAL REPAIR COMPLEX “ I know if anybody can break a scam is you! Hope to hear from you soon I love your content by the way
I am currently taking Biotin but why is it making me breakout?
In class we studied that B12 is also released by gut bacteria. So of we eat good food which nurtures good gut microenvironment, one should no get B12 deficiency.
As poop comes out of the body and has bacteria from inside our body… It makes sense to nurture that microflora
Which B12 we shud take activated methyl or the cyanocobalamin?
Vitamin supplements are great! Just caution on taking them everyday, it doesnt have to be a religous routine. I was told by a nutritionist that it’s good to take multivitamins every other day. Over doing vitamins can lead to a fatty liver, because your body can get lazy on producing it’s own vitamins. Or you’re just literally peeing them out because your body won’t absorb all of it. Same thing with over eating healthy foods and drinking health juices. Your body is only gonna absorb so much. I loved hearing about the fish oil, and how you break down the science!
Please speak slow and clearly. You speak very fast and some times your action is not clear. Please do the needful so that we can hear you clearly. Thanks
L Lysine, sea buckhorn oil and garlic have helped me clear up my cystic acne. Going Vegan was where I saw the biggest improvements though
Hello Cassandra, I started recently watching your videos and I love them. I am a newby in skincare ( I have a normal skin, and I never had acne, recently I have some milia) Anyways, I want to start taking care of my skin as I am getting older ( 24). I want to but the MURAD product but I was reading some comments on Amazon (That their hair fall when they take as indicated on the bottle), and I was wondering, how many pills do you take per day?
I had been told that B12 needs to be in liquid form for the body to actually be able to process it. Is this true?
Can you plz plz do a video on the Ritual vitamins? Are they really good or no?
B12 gave me cystic acne that is still clearing up and has left scars, I have never had cystic acne and my acne has never left scars on my face before.
You’re such a wonderful wealth of information……Cassandra, can u recommend more affordable alternatives to the Murad and the Seabuck Wonders products, please?
As an esthetician always looking to add to my science based skincare knowledge, I love your videos! As a senior (I’ve been a licensed esthetician since 1979) I would love to see more on anti-aging skincare science. Do you have any info on stem cell media derived growth factors, peptides and cytokines?
nice video

LOVE THE INFORMATION…your eyes look too crazy i want too meet you haha
Hey I love your videos! I’m a vegan and I have had to take b12 for the last few years. I’ve heard it makes people break out and that has definitely been the case for me. I know I have to take it but I hate how it makes my skin break out
Love your videos!
But, about Biotin I read that too much Biotin can cause problems diagnosing thyroid problems
What do you think about that?
P. S. I am interested cause I have thyroid problems
What is the best way to cure my acne naturally? I read loads of great opinions on the net about how exactly Fopobiacne Secrets will help you cure your acne naturally. Has anybody tried using this popular acne remedy?
This is probably a dumb question, but is pantothenic acid the same thing as b12?
Cassandra, what about Cod Liver Oil? what is your input about this oil?
From there being so many acne suplements how did you choose Murad over others? I just ordered one called Acnetame and it has very good reviews I hope it works.
Cassadra, as a nutritionist, I applaud you on a very informative, and scientifically correct video. You can imagine that I see so many things that make me cringe, but this was an excellent video. FYI, the reason your father may have been deficient in B12 is because he is older and does not have as much stomach acid, which is needed to make and/or process B12. Nonetheless, good job on getting him on B12!!
Hey Cassandra, I hope you can reply my question. I came across a paper that stated B12 can actually cause acne. What are your thoughts? I just started taking a vitamin b complex supplement in the hope it will reduce my cystic acne. But this paper has once again placed me in a state of worry and concern. A reply will be highly appreciated.
i do not see any Biotin listed in this link you gave on SeabuckWonders Omega 7 + Biotin:(
Too much B12 can also cause acne. I took an b12 injection and I had terrible succession of breakouts. It was very bad. It was in January and the breakouts still didn’t totally stop. For some people it’s better to take a low dose of this vitamin, like me.:)
Being healthy might be complicated, but you have to understand everything you are taking to your body… Wow this video is very educating
Of course I have my B12 pills, but I have a question: Is there a difference in the form the supplements come in? Like, do pills that you just swallow work better than for example those tablets that dissolve in the water? I was looking for some supplement that would have a daily reccomended dose of vitamins and minerals and I found one that is similiar to that Murad supplement but dissolves in the water. I wonder if something like that can work just like normal pills?
I’m a male and want to take care of my skin I have severe dryness inside and out and sensitive blushing skin
Accutane ruined me
I was going to take
MSM
Hyaluronic acid
Collagen peptides
Ceramide supplement
Fish oil
Sea buckthorn oil
Probiotic
Zinc
Iron
Multi
Digestive enzymes
Not sure if I need all this or if its waste of money
So informative and interesting. I didn’t know supplements can be bad for you if not buying the right one or keeping it in right conditions. Thank you so much!
What do you think of Imedeen derma one or hair and nails supplements?
Cinnamon supplement is actually good for you. Check out Novirin
I learn so much and I loooove that you’re it slowww you speak fast but clearly and to the point! Awesome! And your energy is fantastic!
Any suggestions on seabuckthorn oil that is available in Canada? Wanted to try out the one you were talking about but it’s only available in the states.
b12 and fish oil causes acne, scientifically proven stay away if you have acne.
So are fish oil pills not good for you? I was always told it’s good for you
hello cassandra, I want to ask about omega. so I eat the salmon fish oil that contains omega 3 & 6 which contains fatty acid. but now, I get fungal acne which I never had it before, but since I consumed it, the fungal acne showing up. So does the seabuckwonder contains fatty acid too in there omega?
I deal with hormonal acne (that is inactive at the moment THANKFULLY) and I started b12 supplement when I went vegan. To be more specific I take brewer’s yeast supplement with b12 in it. It has done WONDERS for my skin! I take one tablet before my meals to control insulin levels (that seem to play a significant role to hormonal acne) and never experienced breakouts caused from this specific supplement. It actually helps with my hormonal breakouts A LOT and I realized that when I didn’t take it for a week or so my acne got worse!
Apparantly if you take loads of supplements ur pee looks darker
I just take Ritual Vitamins and extra D. Sometimes I take extra C & Elderberry, to prevent or treat a cold or illness.
