I’m a medical student from Guatemala on my fifth year on the University, actually rotating on Pediatrics, right now we’re learning about vitamin deficiencies in children and so far this has been the most helpful video of all (which are all amazing!), I know you took a lot of time making this one because B6 has so many functions, thank you so so so much, you’re helping the future doctors to be better. You’re an amazing teacher!
I started B6 supplement to cure my morning sickness, but didn’t need to add an antihistamine. in fact antihistamines make me dysphoric which leads me to believe I’m an overmethylator, but I’m not even sure that’s a thing.
the B6 has been great for me, it’s helping me make GABA and it’s stabilized my mood and I sleep great (nearly impossible when you’re pregnant).
I’m trying to figure out why B6 helps the morning sickness and why I was so deficient in it.
Is vitamin B6 helps for the acid in the stomach?I mean to digest normal?
Really well made and ORIGINAL type of video; for a ADD’er like me its heaven. The connections to other systems and different biochemical pathways highlighted is very good and impressively laid out.. ty for your time to make this
B6 deficiency is not uncommon due to the genetic condition Pyroluria when B6 and Zinc are excreted through the urine at a much higher rate than usual. This condition can be tested for through your doctor.
Can you advise me how can I remember the whole enzymes and other components in this video???
I really like your videos… Please make a video on vitamin E as well…
Your voice is kinda funny
btw video is great really helpful❣️
The Recommended Daily Allowance intake of B6 for adults 19 50 years is 1.3 mg, but the supplement is 100 mg per pill, that is 50X more than what is allowed. Can anyone please explain the variance.
For your question, did you wanna mention Niemann-Pick disease?
How much b6 us too much? Very informative video and your english is very good and clear.
When you get a change could you do one of these on hydroxychloroquine
Thank you for this video. But isn’t it that pyridoxine, and not pyridoxamine, can be found in plants? Hope you can double check and make an update on this:)
as usual great video and content! which source or book do you use to get your data? love u from Egypt
5MinuteSchool what would you call what you’re explaining as a field to study? Micro Biology? I’m really interested in being able to understand how our bodies cells function.
Thank you, I’ll check out those videos and look for those types of books.
What I love about this video is that I learned HOW to remember what b6 does (not just facts from FA for rote memorization). Also, the enzyme is our buddy, proline hydroxylase!!!
Are you avoiding Koronaviruz topics because you know something is off about it and anything you say may cause your videos to be flagged and ruin your reputation?
Yes or no?
Thank you alot,, i have an exam after two days,, and your videos do help me aloooot ❤❤❤

Can I take 150mg of B6 to treat my Asthma? Or should I not exceed 100mg?
Fatigue is a main symptom of deficiency, as well as other PMS symptoms. Also B6 is involved with dream recall and histamine reactions.
Many of the symptoms of b6 are shared with b12. Such us tingles and numbness. Fatigue, depression.
Autism can be a symptom of b12 Deficiency, so maybe the same for b6 therefore too. Both relate to the Brain and the nervous system, and red blood cells.
A excellent book is “could it be b12?” There is a movie of the book on YT which is informative, but the book gives more details.

Pyridoxine and pyridoxamine are predominantly found in plant foods; pyridoxal is most commonly derived from animal foods. Meats, whole grains, vegetables, and nuts are the best sources. Cooking, food processing, and storage can reduce vitamin B6 availability by 10 to 50 percent
Thanks for missing me. I’ve been researching for 10 hours a day about COVID 19, what is it, where did it originate, how are reliable testing procedures being formulated, the numbers, avoiding the main News broadcasts, listening to virologists, Bill Gates, and conspiracy theories. Otherwise, I’m OK. We are experiencing shortages in some pharmaceuticals here in Canada. I’m also looking into herbal substitutes. And how are you? I don’t know anyone who has been ill with any kind of flu. And you?
MAO stands for monoamine oxidase, which is an enzyme that uses Tyramine as its substrate. In other words, MAO functions to regulate Tyramine level. High level of Tyramine possibly leads to the increased systolic pressure, even a hypertensive crisis because Tyramine acts as a catecholamine releasing agent.
When a patient is taking MAO inhibitors, means that MAO is inhibited, so the patient should restrict Tyramine-containing food, such as cheese and beverage with alcohol or beer included, to prevent excessive Tyramine.
Why does every video not mention that a banana has vitamin b6?
When B6 is high in the blood and no supplement has been taking with vitamine B6? There is a high homocystein. MMA is normal. B12 serum is 450. Sportive middle age man.Has atherosclerosis. What is the main reason why B6 is high then? Bad liverfunction? Is he not activating pyridoxine tot P-5-P? Why? Low vitamine B2? Low magnesium? Thank you in advance
Yeah the benefits of vitamin b6 and b12 is The increased risk of lung cancer in men.:(
Thanks for the Video! Excuse me for the intrusion, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you tried Patlarny Bloods Victory Principle (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is an awesome one of a kind product for preventing toxic blood and heart desease minus the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my friend Sam at last got astronomical success with it.
but when the fuck should i take it? with a meal or without it??
