Wait. On the three way do you look straight with you head tilted before you look away at the ceiling again? Thank you. This is wonderful help
Starting today. Will update how my posture is over the weeks.
Day 1: felt nice and releasing doing the routine. No permanent changes yet, as expected
Great exercise but couldn’t stand the rock music playing in the background. Too distracting.
Really liked this one trying for the first time this morning. Wondering where to find more videos supporting the breast tissue?
What a nice choice of poses thank you so much for putting this class together.

I can’t thank you enough, I’ve been dealing with a hunchback and forward neck posture for also my entire life.. I’ve tried a lot of other exercises but they don’t explain as well as you have nor were they as enjoyable to perform and practice. My husband tells me that I’m sleeping in a better form and I’m walking more straight ^_^ I can’t thank you enough
Quick result!!!..uh huh!!! This is what keeps me procrastinating for everything.
Is that an OMKAR on the wall?? Indian Hindus would known………
I’ve been doing this almost every day during quarantine, it definitely makes a difference, especially during work from home days:)
Hey great info! one question tho, if anyone can help, how many “reps” should we do, should I maintain the position were I feel the stretch for some seconds or is it just reaching the point and going back.
Are more “traditional” stretches recommended also? (the ones were you push to a position and hold)
Cheers!
I’m not a native English speaker. What do I supposed to do when she says “tailbone tuck in”?
Great stretch/mobility drill!!! Subscribed already… Keep up the good content. Godbless!
I love your videos. This is a great short one that will be easy to do every day! Thanks! My only suggestion is that the music is a bit loud for a relaxing yoga sequence. Thanks for all the yoga workouts you provide us. Much appreciated!
From now on I never thought my body posture is a bit bad until I did this. As I align my body it shows my upper back, lower back & shoulders is in a bit bad shape.
I’m indian….from where yoga is originated…and really happy to see the whole world is following it….
I’ve been getting back pain ever since I started working from home. I’m going to do this today!!
Thank you Sarahbeth! Is the first time I see this video. I promise to do this sequence at least twice daily this week. On in the morning and one in the evening in my job breaks!
I almost fall everytime i shift my weight to my right or left side XD
Thank you I just need stretches for older folks or people who are not very flexible thanks
I have done this class 3times now and I still haven’t seen all these mistakes Tim is complaining about on FB!
My OH and I have been working our way backwards through your 10 min list.
OH said this was the best ever yoga practice he’s ever done.
It’s definitely going up high on my personal play list.
Just what we both needed to set ourselves up before bed. No more cricked neck or slumped spine.
Ps. It’s also kind of cool to see how your channel has developed over time. I kind of love the fridge in the background of this one, it’s shows just how real you are.
Anyway. Thank you for the awesome practices
I revisited this sequence this morning. It was like spending time with an old friend. It’s the first sequence I did on a daily basis years ago, when I actually DID gain an inch in my 5’1″ stature. I didn’t grow. I just began to stand up straight…and feel better. Color me a happy senior citizen.
I practiced my 12 poses today… finally, after a lot of time…
You are a gem. Fitness gem, that is. Thanks from California.
half kneeling groin stretch has allowed me to put on my right sock while sitting without a struggle or pain!!! at 66, this vid is a treasure trove!!! thanks. what a take away!! that neck stretch is great too!!
could be good, if not for that unnecessary a bit annoying music.
“to the left, to the right” not really visible when filmed from side
The last neck one…you say look all three directions but only say look up and down. What is the 3rd?
just did this class after not doing yoga for 7 whole days because I hurt my back; feels so good to have yoga back in my life I missed it so much. Namaste xo
Can you please make a video on full flexibility of whole body including warm up exercises
Mam i am 20yrs how much days it takes to me for having good posture
Wow I didn’t think this would do much as it’s only 10 minutes but I really felt this help. Keep up the great work!
I’m new to all of this. Can someone tell me what “open your heart” means? I’ve seen a few yoga and Pilates videos that say this but no one really says what you have to do
This yoga helps a lot for my posture. I always had hunch my back. Thx so much
Another great video I have Fibromyalgia and ME/CFS, your videos have helped me so much! Thank you
This is a spectacular channel!!! Thank you so much for doing it! ❤️❤️❤️
Is it ok if i do it several times during the day? I feel this is the only program i like!
So how is person suppose do kneeling stretches when you can’t kneel if you have a knee replacement? Kneeling is no no!
Thanks alot! This is by far the best routine for a beginner!
Don’t know why you remind me of the wii fit trainer on smash bros ultimate
This is my standard routine for the last 3 years and my posture has changed dramatically! Thank you Sara
loooooove this video but plz can u post it again without the music?!
Thanks for this video! It is my favorite one for posture. I love all your other yoga videos too. They are easy to follow and of course it’s a great workout!
I did that two times and Already see an increased flexibility in my shoulders. Also the tension in upper back area is gone
Love it. I’m doing it everyday, thank you for making this! <3
Thank you! I was looking for ways to exercise and avoid wrist pain (you had a helpful video on that), and then saw this in my feed. One of the hardest things about aging is aches and pain! I’m very active, and want to stay that way! But I hate the videos for “seniors!” They almost always assume we need/want to do everything seated.
The asanas you have demonstrated are very nicely illustrated and easy to practice for supple body and maintaining fitness. Thank you.
Hello didi….. main ek beginner hun… mera ek question hai ki kya ye 15 yrs walo ke lie bhi kam aata hai?
Start on 1:00 if you aren’t new and have already listened to her talking before
Amazing! Thank you so much for this routine! I have Scoliosis, so I am bad to slouch and I get a lot of back pain. This really helped get all the tightness out, and I feel a big difference in my posture. Thanks!
After doing this routine, I instantly felt grateful for this video’s existence.
I have recently started following you. And its very educational and i am tryin to incorporate your streches in my fitness regime. I m suffering from knee pain… and which has now restricted me in lot of movements which needs active excercise. PLEASE suggest some good knee strengthening exercises.. highly appreciate you for ur work
this videos is heel longer when you first time do it wiht thw video.
Mam can you tell your fitness yoga for slim and slim thih, butt, hip
Vandana ma’am
Can you pls share warm up exercise before starting the asanas.
Besides this liked the idea of asan and counter asan, pls share more.
It’s very effective and well explained. Cna you please also show the high leg raise pose with proper breathing pattern. I don’t know its proper name.
I’ve just completed day two of this sequence. It’s really started to help me particularly in becoming more conscious of my posture. Sarah Beth’s clear, concise way of guiding us through each step has made it easier for me to follow and to correct my positions than classes I’ve taken in person.
Thank God I found an Indian Yogi,,, otherwise har jagah hi gore pade h
You are much better than other celebrity yoga practioners… Great
Wow! What a terrific glow by doing this asana. She is looking beautiful as if she will remain for eternity. God bless her!

Hi Vandana di. I love to watch and practice yoga asanas and i have watched so many videos on youtube. Only few of yoga teachers can teach well. And you r my fvrt one. I blv no one can explain postures better than you. I cant understand all hindi languages and you r using English words for that which is + points of you. I had created a list of your yogasana videos and follow according to my comfort and timing. You r absolutely awesome. Love you so much di.
I can’t able to touch me toes from hands what I do please guide
Going to do this from tomorrow, will tell the results after a week
Hello Melissa. My mother is a member and a big fan. And so am I. She mentioned this video, and it has now become my favorite of all times! The only pose I feel I missed was the child pose just as a counter-pose after doing the Cobra. What do you think? Thank you for your wonderful videos and regards from Ana Livingston (my mom).
Flexibility is something we should definitely all concentrate on especially for the later years of our lives in order for us to have mobility, as a former dancer I needed to be really flexible, but I’ve never stopped stretched since my dancing ended because it’s become a part of my life
Thank you for these videos! It makes you realise how we actually forget to stretch some parts of our bodies! Stretches should always come after a warm-up right? No exceptions…?
I practiced my 12 yoga poses today. I love that you posted this roughly a year ago. The spring light and the flowering trees and the bluster in the air are all around us here in Connecticut. <3
Lmao I’ve been doing some yoga lately and with just watching a 10 to 20 minute video and following along, you basically do these exercises while relaxing. Also more fun names.
My knee flexion is very limited. Do you have recommendations to improve that?
One.. ONE yoga stretch, ahahAH -AHH! These are better stretches than routines I PAID for.. THANKS for Sharing!
My friends, family, and classmates have told me of my bad posture. I’ve never tried yoga before, because i thought it wouldn’t be needed as i am only 13. My height is around 5’8, but i feel like i’m taller and stronger after only a day of doing this, thank you so much!
Amazing! Did this after my workout and felt great thanks for sharing!!
This is really good stretch ideas, just wish more time was spent showing the moves rather constant edit back and forth
Quite possibly the most helpful video I have seen on this media, explaining why the gluteals are so important I have learned a lot today well done and thank you for a most instructive presentation!
Do you have a patreon account? I’d love to be a patron. Your videos have been super helpful.
Great video. The foot stretch to bear crawl is brilliant! An issue I’ve always struggled with sitting back on my calves with my feet untucked and tucked. It’s always been really uncomfortable to pretty painful, sitting back with feet untucked and I’ve noticed this more because of my yoga class. I’m literally on the tips of my toes when I sit back with my toes tucked, there is such limited flexibility. I can’t stay in this position for very long at all. I was told by my yoga instructor that I have tight calves and to assist with stretching my calves out, to wrap up a towel or use a pool noodle, place it between the back of my knees and try to sit back on the towel/noodle for a minute at a time to loosen my calves. Would you have any suggestions for this issue I’m experiencing? It is more my ankle mobility as well? I have very tight hamstrings which I’m working on daily.
Wow! Thank you for this full, informative and helpful stretching exercises
Question: I am struggling with why I am not able to touch my butt with the back of my feet when I try to do the first stretch exercise (bear squat?). Does anybody have any idea why? Is it that i still need to stretch other parts of my legs, feet? Any suggestions? Thanks!

What does it mean when I get a Charlie horse when I stretch certain muscles? It immediately seizes up and hurts…
The first time I did this I felt like she was going way too fast, but even by the second time I was able to catch on by just listening and not looking at the screen to often.
I love your videos! So informative! Can you please post something about preventing and treating shin splints? What kind of exercises help/hurt shins? Thanks xx
You are amazing! This is such high-quality content. Thank you.
Omg these stretches look spot on to address ALL of my issues but it hurts to do almost all M of these. Is something wrong or should I just continue to try? Constant right foot, ankle, knee, and hip issues. And lower back is sooo sore when twisting. I never had this few years ago but now 50.
The foot stretch to bear squat, my heels don’t touch the ground, will this improve with practice?
Can you please make a video for people who have too much mobility. My physiotherapist says i shouldn’t stretch because i am too flexible and it is causing me joint pain and injuries all over due to instability. I do still get sore muscles and i miss stretching eventhough i hardly feel any stretch in most stretches. Should i stretch? And what kind of exercises do you recommend doing? Physiotherapy isn’t helping me at all
I’m only 17 but I already have a slightly hunched back and slight scoliosis, I’m going to start doing yoga to help with my posture and doing this just for once already made me feel a lot better
Do you have a follow-along video? I can’t just look at it and do it unless it’s a slow demo. If you have one I’d love a link.
I’m in love…because she never once said “uh” or “like”.
I think you are very intelligent. You definitely know your stuff -impressive! You are strong, capable, beautiful very sexy! I really enjoy your videos very informative.
Cori…you’re excellent. Explaining without over explaining great content.
In the garbage of YouTube channels, the only channel giving good vibes. Just watching her doing all this brings the mind at peace. Doing these asanas will benefit much more.
Hi,would be possible to make a video workout addressing baby boomers (55+) with stretching and strengthening? ️♂️♂️
Oh my gosh! Came across your vid by accident and decided to watch it. You pegged all my aches and pains completely! I tried doing these stretches and they worked!! I feel so much looser and my foot, leg, and back tension is disappearing. Thank you so much! I am now a subscriber.:)
I practiced my 12 yoga poses today. This helped to calm my mind in the confusion of our world right now. My body feels strong and healthy and I could let go of negative emotions and feel the positive. Thank you.
You are so knowledgeable. Thank you for doing your informative videos for us all on the internet. They are all fantastic including this one!
Im 4ft 8 and have lordosis, and im going to tell yall now THIS SHIZ HELPS
Hi Sarah, I suggest a more relaxing type of music or no music at all. Great video!
Great explanation. How long or how many repetitions for each stretch do you recommend?
Been doing this for a week alongside a few other yoga routines on the channel and already noticing a difference and improvement in posture. Really helpful if a lot of your job involves sitting in front of a computer. Thank you! ❤️
can I do the shoulder exercises even though I recently dislocated my shoulder? been about 3 weeks since it happened, it feels fine now but scared it might pop out again doing certain movement patterns
I love her!! but she never says how many sets how long to hold these stretches. Her videos are incomplete in this way. I wonder if that’s a liability factor?
The exercises are great b u t I’ve never seen a woman who speaks more with here hands than with here mouth.
Thanks so much. You have included only the essentially beneficial, and of course, these are very much foundational for further strength movements. Great presentation and presence.
Loved how these felt in my body! Except the figure 4 kickback my hips wanted to spasm and I really had to start with a very, very small movement. What does this say about my hips. I have no problem with the figure 4 on my back or from sitting. However, my hip flexors do cause pain sometimes. Will this help mobilize and strengthen?
Thanks.
I really love how she explains everything and doesn’t get straight to the stretches
Love the relaxing background music to all your yoga sessions and your clear instructions. You have a lovely calming voice. Thank you. Namaste
How long are we supposed to do each stretch? Is there a certain number of Reps or a certain amount of time. I didn’t hear you mention it in the video and I was reading through the comments trying to find it as well. Sorry if you have answered it before. Thank you very much for the video, I have been looking for some great videos on flexibility now that I am 50!
I look forward to your videos everyday! You are part of my daily routine. Thank you!!
I don’t know your know teacher thank you,for food of thought!
Thanks for the upload! Major Respect! Well explained & demonstrated. Thank you!
I listen to most YouTube videos on 1.5 speed…except for Cory’s
Hi, hey I need shoulder, elbow and knee replacements. I cannot have them done at the moment. Is there a modification on these stretches I can do to loosen the neck/shoulders as well as the inner thighs? I feel doing them on knees that need to be replaced with further hurt them. Should I be concerned?
That just changed my life. I will be doing this at least once a day.
Phenomenal information and dynamic deep stretches isolating specific problem areas I’ve been struggling with when working out!!! Totally needed this! Pure Awesomeness! Thank you so much!
I love how she explains the benefit of each move especially as a warm up or for daily stretching
Does this exercise increasing our height too with correcting our posture? Thank you in advance for those who will answer my question.
As I’m dealing with plantar fasciitis, that foot stretch to bear squat is my new go to!
Just subscribed..your channel name is justified by your videos…thanks for redefining strength…
Bone on bone in both hips. Hip replacement one day but not yet.. serious range of motion limitations. How to keep hip region muscles engaged and range of motion the best it can be without high pain?
I like the way the exercises are explained and demonstrated. I am a sixty year old female ex-athlete and a mother of 5, who struggle with these annoying pains from injuries of long ago. I try to execute most of them with some satisfaction but struggle with others.
Do you have More specific exercises for my case?
I have enjoyed your videos. May I usggest that you should add something to the About page which explains the name. I went there looking for an explanation about how you have “redrfined strength”, but I found nothing. Cheers.
Great explanations! Thanks waiting for a more detailed video about getting rid of lower back pain. I got interested in exercising because of it.
I’ve been doing this for a while now and loads of people have asked if I’ve got taller!
This is the most helpful muscle strengthening video I’ve found! Thank you. May I ask hpw many reps/how long you suggest holding this moves for? Especially the snow angel. Thanks.
I truly enjoy your videos and the way you describe how the exercises should be done and how they will help you. I’ve been told I have ligament laxity and that stretching could actually be harmful for me. I’m not sure I agree with this and wanted to get your opinion. Stretching always makes me feel better but I don’t want to be aggravating a condition. Not sure how to balance stretching and muscle strengthening to support my situation…
I’ve had pain for over a year now, sometimes so much I cannot walk. I’m 35 and used to be quite athletic. I’ve spent thousands on chiropractic and physical therapy, and I’m not sure it’s getting any better. I can’t do the second half of the first stretch-apparently my hips won’t go. How do I improve mobility if I can’t even do some of these stretches? Where can I go to get the help I need with someone like Cori?
This is great! Is there a video routine that uses all these with the full reps? Thank you for your great description of what is engaged in these exercises and why they matter and also for looking like a normal person and not a Barbie doll. You rock!
The sequence was good but possibly the most annoying, off putting music I’ve ever heard on one of these…. ruined the calm for me
As an over 45 care worker getting sore and stiff is my new normal stretching is so important otherwise I seize up even though I am fit. These stretches remedy the exact symptoms I have been suffering with shoulder and elbow etc Best little combo routine I have seen
i did the 12 poses we should do every day thanx tim and melissa for your work!!
Melissa, I practice these at least 3 days a week along with a couple of yin practices on the other days. These are wonderful. I do throw in a few others while you’re talking.:) I taught yoga for years, so I do some adlib, but I love these. Thank you for giving!
this was my first time doing yoga so I probably made a lot of mistakes but wow I feel so good after completing this!
Loved these 12 poses! Can’t wait to try more of your videos. Thanks for all you do, Melissa!!:)

i love this video! i started out a few months ago by doing this video daily for 14 days and really noticed an improvement in my kyphosis posture. i’ve been doing other SarahBeth videos and will add in this flow every so often, it’s great to feel how much stronger my back and shoulders have become with daily (almost daily!) yoga practice! thanks for the great tips, encouraging words, and positive attitude.
Thank you Melissa! Much appreciated from a small town in Sweden
Just wanted to say Thank You. I’m 51 was a martial arts/ work out freak, worked through 2 broken backs. Ripped tendons both knees and shoulders. Then cancer… Now cancer free. I’ve destroyed my body, so I’m now out of flexability and I find your videos concise; info packed and great motivation.
Again just wanted to express my thanks
I did my twelve poses today! Thank you! And thank you for the affirmations and the poem! Loved it!
I practiced my 12 poses today. And did the one-legged bridge without quitting!
Great video I had been doing a posture routine video for a year with no improvement I’ve just found this video and did it last night, my shoulders are hurting this morning is that normal?
It is my daily routine now. I like your slow tempo, no pressure, no rush, no frequent changes of poses, your calm voice. Awesome.
Melissa, thanks so much! It is a precious gift during this difficult time for all of us. I love these 12 poses, it does help a lot! The best of the best. Great thanks, much love.
I practiced my 12 poses today. Perfect reminder during this pandemic time 3-25-2020

Thank you Melissa for having put these lessons together in order to help us during the quarantine. It’ s really a hard time especially because you can’t see people you love. Yoga practice could help us a lot!
Thank you Melissa, I loved his class and it was exactly what I needed. The blossoms are gorgeous in Victoria. Ontario is still cold. xo
Thank you for this video. I have been practicing with it daily and no more lower back pain!

I did my 12 yoga poses today! Day 1….thanks! I feel good!
One of the few videos that I have done a second time! Did this in a hotel room with barely enough space to stretch out! No yoga mat, nothing to spread on the floor. Joined two small carpets to give myself something to lie upon! But mats kept slipping! Quite an adventure doing hotel yoga! First time I am making an effort to maintain my yoga practice during a hectic work trip. I am realizing if we truly begin to recognize the benefit of yoga practice on our energy and vitality we will be able to motivate ourselves to get up half hour early, or put away the smartphone and make it the practice more regular!
I was a member years ago and I loved all your magnificent Yoga classes and your wonderful husband was so helpful with my very poor technical skills so that I could easily navigate your website. I actually trained after my teaching career at 60 years old to be a yoga and chi gung teacher so your fabulous classes have been extremely helpful. Thank you from my heart to yours.
I only teach one class now in my home ( I have a large yoga Room) and we are all getting older, so I have to consider my people have lots of issues.
Of course although I’ve done yoga all my life I am 72 now and I need to be very mindful that some postures need modification.
Would you be willing to do some classes for people over 50?
I love your teaching style as it’s so natural I feel I know you personally.
I know you’re vats and if you’ve ever studied the enneagram your personality is I think number 2 which is the helper.
I probably relate to you because I am also that personality.
Anyhow I send you so much love and appreciation for all you do for so many people in the world.
You have made a lovely contribution in my life where I feel less alone and that there are people similar to me in the world.
Much love and blessings to you Melissa and your lovely husband ( Kapha and 9 personality)

Why can’t they wear indian kurti…these western clothing looks so disgusting
This felt like coming home and catching up with a dear old friend. It’s been almost two years since I practised with you, Melissa. I did an episode almost every day from 2012 till 2017, when I got pregnant and had to take a long break. I really missed you, your voice and your calming presence. So good to recharge like this when you have an active toddler claiming your energy all day long:)
Again. Thankkkkkk youuuuuuu I adorrrreeeee your poem the more I listen the more I like it❤️
I practice my 12 yoga poses today! This was a perfect routine! Thank you so much. Love the hatha yoga videos they make me feel stronger. breath of joy is awesome! I am coming back to movement after 3 months of distraction and lethargy. If it wasn’t for your videos I would be hard pressed to find something doable and energizing to get me back on track. Thank you! <3
I do the 12 poses and I will tell you how much is good for me. I will get the yoga practice each day. Thank you for all.
Merci beaucoup
I practised my 12 yoga poses today:-))) I added some foot / toe stretches / massages
I practiced my 12 yoga poses today! Well, really 13 because down dog is my favorite.
I should have done this one with the audio download on themembership site! The add at the end woke me up! Good thing you have those audio downloads at the ms site, really added value!
To be honest I have never liked Breath of Joy. But since you make it sound like Nirvana, I do it.
nice explaination of asana i never heard before that thank you mam from today I am your fan.
I added in a forward fold, my back craves it daily. Loved the poem, maybe one of my faves so far from your classes
Hey Cori, does my body need to be warmed up before doing these stretches?
Mam mera komor dard hota hai. Jogason kor rahu 3months lekin thik nehi ho rahe. Please mam bataiye kon sa ason korne se thik hoga?
This is one of these videos where time seems to pass quickly. This is not always the case. It reminds me of your Off The Wall video. That also seems to be quite entertaining. I don’t know what makes me feel either entertained during yoga or maybe a bit bored at times. Maybe it has to do with focus or concentration?
Really helpful video thankyou so much for sharing this informative video with us
I only ever do yoga with you haha
I tend to watch/do a different practice every time I do it (not quite up to every day yet) but I do have my favourites that I do more often:)
Interesting points for both ways. At the moment I plan a different set each day but have found I am not enjoying some and it feels overwhelming sometimes. I have a couple of real favourires which I think I will use as my base and then maybe add a new one in once a week or when I feel up to it. Looking forward to next months theme. X
Pls tell yoga for c section women’s,i think all assan is not good for c.
Thank you. This was very helpful. I will be doing the same ones every time
What’s your opinion? Should you do the same yoga poses every day?
