I just want to say thank you. It’s been almost three years since my auto accident and my lower back was screaming in pain. I’ve had to go to the chiropractor weekly but after losing my job, it wasn’t in the cards. Then I found you on here and have been doing this regularly for the past three months. I have been watching You Tube videos for the past week to help with a bout of sudden and acute back spasms that was caused by incorrect lifting method ( lifting and twisting without using my knees). It was like I had a wide rubber band wrapped around my lower back and abdomen and I could barely move. It was painful to walk and I couldn’t stand up straight. Some of the videos gave similar exercises, but this one was by far the best. It incorporated several relaxation type exercises and after a week of painful spasms, with just 2 sets of these exercises, I am practically all better. This video was the most and effective for me. I have done this routine almost everyday during the quarantene and honestly it saved me from another surgery of the lower back discs. I recommend doing it 6 days a week with no more that one day break. It really helps just remember to be consistent with your workout!

Oh this channel is a blessing! Half an hour ago my back was a full mass of tense muscles after being sitting for hours and hours teaching online. I found the upper back pain video and this one and the relief is undescribable! I couldn’t move properly and felt like a plank of wood but now I’m pliant and pleasantly tingly down to my toes. I’ve had what I thought was hip pain at first that’s getting worse the last 2 years in particular. I went to my doctor and he told me it was actually my back that was hurt. He gave me meds and suggested I look up some videos like this on YouTube. I’m going to do this daily for at least a month and see what happens. It’s my last shot before I try physio or a chiropractor!

this looks like something even i could do. most yoga exercises are impossible for me to do. my back is weak and i have had sciatica and cannot lift my back up when i lie on the floor. not until i had to in old age did i do any physical exercises. now i try to do home senior gym every morning. i shall make an effort to do these exercises too.

I do construction and it’s very physical demanding work, I hurt my lower back and tried this after a epsom salt bath and I gotta say it works better than using bengay or icy hot and laying on the couch. Thanks for the stretch techniques it really helped my lower back pain

You filmed this 6 years ago. I’m watching this in 2020. I have to do school work and work from my apartment and the chairs and couch we have has absolutely MURDERED my lower back. I was practically in tears and feeling sick from all the pain i was in. I could hardly walk. I’ve been doing stretches and exercises. I even had a massage. The pain went away for about a week and it’s back again. It’s more manageable because of all the work I’m putting into it. Your videos are helping me so much!!!

Well I am 5 weeks into yoga my first 4 weeks I practiced your beginners clip 7 days week. In my fifth week I felt confident enough to try an address my lower back pain that came from a lower back injury that I experienced 7years ago. Appreciate video content! Sorry for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you researched Proutklarton Enjoy Playing Plan (google it)? It is a good one off product for relieving back pain in just 16 minutes minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my m8 got astronomical success with it.
This sequence is delicious! My back pain usually goes away right after there psoas stretch. I come straight here as a warm up/ light stretch before a more intense flow. Thank you Adriene!

Adriene’s workouts work. Simple as that. And they are dead easy. I have previously had success with her workout for shoulder and neck tension. In many way, the movements are the same as the stretches prescribed by my physio they just seem to work better. I can’t tell you why.
I honestly respect you swami ji from the bottom of my heart as I have got huge benefits from the exercises you have shown….I was recommended for spinal surgery because of my back pain but after practicing those exercises I feel much more better now.
