I am on the thrid day of practicing yoga ever
I am only doing surya namaskar with some yoga work outand my back spine feel tensed and sore but not bad pain, is this normal? And how can i get rid of it? And how do I know if a certain pose is not harmful for my spine and body? Thnx..Does it matter if you do your yoga on hard floor or carpet. If so which do you seggest.
I thought your beginners tips were right on point. Although I’m not a total beginner, I have only being doing yoga for the last year after a long break and it was good to be reminded of all the things you mentioned. One that really resonated for me is your tip that if you don’t like the pose then it’s highly likely that that is the one you need. It is so true! And the tip about holding the poses just a bit longer than is quite comfortable (but not damaging!). Slowly we become stronger. Thanks for this post.
Hello! I just found your channel. I am a beginner and I have neck, arm and feet stiffness, tension and numbing which prevent me from regular exercise. I’m currently under doctor supervision while I get a MRI and a diagnosis. Yoga (and walking) is the only form of physical conditioning that I can do without pain. I’m changing my diet as well to help my overall health. But I just wanted to thank you for your channel. I hope I can continue to watch and practice with you.
This flow is a perfect way to end my day! So awesome. Thank you!!:-)
I hated this flow. but that’s probably just my fault not feeling it really
Thanks for the great tips. What type of yoga is best for more instruction on whether or not I am doing the pose correctly. What do you think of thai yoga?
Thank you so much for such beautiful and lovely practices. You are amazing.
Thank you for challenging me. I’ ve been doing yoga for a while, but the stretches I am learning from you are really making me feel stronger. ❤❤❤
In real yoga, you have to study with a Master Yogi for at least 20 years before you can ever teach and there is a REASON FOR THAT. I started yoga at 18 with a teacher who would become the yoga teacher of the US Olympic Team. I was so blessed to have the best right from the beginning with all my poses. You know why? Because she kept our BODY, BONES, and BACK SAFE with each yoga pose. I brought this knowledge into any class over the next 40 years because I saw no teachers doing it (even if they had been teaching for 10-30 years). This is why at 62, I can do yoga without any back or spine pain because I protected my spinal chord with the “right pressure and tenseness needed from my muscles” to protect each pose. The MESSAGE HERE IS regardless of what teacher, learn from the best and most experienced if you are new to yoga. Then you can self regulate with any teacher.
Hey, this has naturally helped me with my stance! Washing my face after doing and realised my feet are firmly planted on the floor and I feel really stable. Great!
One of the things I’ve struggled with is trying to stay in my own space and not compare myself to others. There are a lot of people who have been doing yoga for years and years that make it look so easy. I have to just learn to focus more on my breath and what my body is doing. It’s becoming easier each time I go but it’s definitely a challenge for me. That’s a challenge in my life outside of yoga too, so I understand exactly why it is happening. I love the way I feel after yoga though!
Juliana your lounges look so awesome. Im practising yoga for a while now but I just cant do lounges properly:( Any advice or tip?
Lets do this. We can do it. Im short woman and i believe and trust my capability. thank you so much.. oneness and love be with you.. sending you unconditional love.❤❤❤
Which of your videos would you suggest to do prior to this as a warm up?
Hi chris..love ur explanation..im so skinny do you have any yoga to make me gain weigth..tnx so much..
That reverse table-top sequence into L-sits was pretty nifty!
Thank you for these ti()s; they were hel()ful. ()articularly ‘listening’, rather than; and ‘()atience’ rather than… A beginner at home now since I ex()erienced taking a grou() class and I left frustrated. OMG Now I want to disci()line myself to get better.
Amazing practice! It will become my go to morning gentle wake up! Thank you so much! And the surroundings are breathtaking!
wow! im so glad i can finally work of the fat after having my first baby #teenmom
Hi Flow, first of all thanks for introducing me in this peaceful and energizing practice. As a complete beginner, I’ve been doing this class every single day for 1 month now. I was not particularly fit before starting so I wonder if I should take it easier. What do you think? Should I take some day off from practice every now and then? You and Breathe are amazing! Keep up the good work!
King Arthur pose!!??? What is that…lolHaven’t ever heard of it. Definitely not a pose from authentic yoga lineage. Sorry.
Hey Christina! I have been interested in getting started in yoga, but have never found the right instructor or time to actually do it. I found your channel and started doing some of your videos. You are an amazing instructor, I only wish you were an instructor in Atlanta so I could take from you in person. Keep up the great work!
Plank Pose indeed feels like coming home!:-) awesome practice, thank you!!
I love that class!! but I cannot get my legs up off the ground at the same time…ahhgggh
I love this workout to the moon & back. Great for busy days, when u want to just unwind and spend a few peaceful minutes focusing only on your body&soul

This video left me feeling so frustrated and discouraged. And unfulfilled. And like a failure. When you wear all black it is so difficult to see whether you are doing a move to the left or to the right. And when you say left or right, is it your direction or ours? It’s a great workout, I’m sure, it just left me feeling like I wasted 26:33 minutes of my time with very little benefit.
Thank you so much for this amazing practice. Namaste
I love your videos so so much. Thank you so much for making them <3
Thanks for the tip Christina. I’ve recently made it up in my mind that I need to do this, it’s something I admired for years but never desired to try it myself. It is time. I found a video called 14 basic yoga poses for beginners and some of those poses are like, whaaa? No way. Mm-mm, not gonna happen. Thanks for encouraging just go for it. You never know what you can do until you just put yourself into action.
I appreciate the recs as I’m a newbie! I do feel like you could been way more brief and gotten to the point much quicker as I was genuinely curious what you had to say. Just some feedback as an educator. Thanks again.
You guys have changed my life x I practice everyday for at least 60 mins x I love all the videos and I feel blessed for finding your channel x thank you x ❤️♀️❤️
Thank you so much for all your videos, they are changing my life. Thank you for all your love
Such an beautiful video! Thanks for this special yoga video in lovely Machu Pichu. We really enjoyed when we visited Agua calianetes in 2009. Your footage of the train, and the area around Machu Pichu brought back happy memories. Thanks!
Came back to this video after months out of practice and a couple pounds extra after the holidays. I used to go through this routine so smoothly that I ended up giggling at myself when I fell trying the high-lunge. The best part was that, just accepting the fact I’m no longer where I used to be. You’ve taught me that: to accept my process. Thank you
Sence I’ve been doing yoga my full planche increase 5sec! And my frontlever increased from 8 sec to 12 sec thanks to you’re workouts.. thanks again bro
Hi, I’m 62 and new to Yoga i suffer with arthritis in my right wrist and struggle to put my hand flat on the floor any suggestions would be great Thanks
This flow will become my morning gentle wake up!
Thank you very much for love and light you send to thousands of people’s hearts!
I keep watching these videos. I am sure it is the music and her soothing voice. I don’t do yoga but I still enjoy some of the stretched. Anything that helps me relax.
There was a big cheer from the WholeHealth team when we got to happy baby in this session! A shorter, but strong practice for us this morning, and we are all feeling the benefit. Thank you.
10/10 would reccomend doing a workout then coming to this video, then afterward, meditate! my mind and body have never felt so good!!:)))
What a beautiful class to start my morning when I’m not a 100% well. ❤️
This is one of my favourites of your videos. i love the song, wish i knew what it was.. it reminds me of a beautiful Falkenbach song… also, love the leggings. i have a pair of similar print that i never wear, never thought to wear them for yoga, but now i think i will:))
The scenery is so freaking incredible! <3 =) Excited to buy your series as soon as I can!
What a beautiful place to shoot a video, and so much energy in that waterfall! I’ve been sick the past week and have not been practicing, this was a great way back into my routine, gentle but so effective for my sore body. Thank you!
every morning when I turn on my computer a gift video is waiting for me on my screen, thank you so much.
amazing. helped me relax to get ready to study for the four tests that I have on my BIRTHDAY!! Just found you today because I decided to do some yoga to help calm my nerves. Love this. Great first impression for me! <3
Thank you for your videos. I used to have very fragile leg muscles from pushing my stretches too far on a cold body in dance. I am healing by the day with your routines. Thank you

Güzel bir akıştı, teşekkürler! Başlangıç seviyesinde yoga yapanlar için ‘biraz’ zorlayıcı olduğunu belirtmeliyim

I loved it! Thanks for the class:) Do you know any yoga mat would you recommend? I have parquet at home and mine slides a lot….
I just love the beautiful locations you are at. Places of power that add to my practice.
amazing flow to slow down <3 happy feelings when my hands touched my third eye.. feeling really great after doing this!
This is a very nice yoga video, it keep moving along with a great flow thank you.
I wonder if you might do a video showing how to modify the most common poses specifically for complete beginners so we can be sure to follow your advice on not rushing ourselves into a pose our body isn’t fully ready for. Or if you would like to point us to some such guidance which exists already elsewhere that’s also appreciated. I like your carefully considered guidance tho. So much thanks for everything you already do. Namaste
When I do the neck circles my neck sounds like a cement mixer
Thanks for beautiful morning with you, wish you all the luck and positive energy to keep going
Can u do a beginners video using a folding chair for balance?
I had my 3 rd yoga class and im so thankful for this video explanation. It should encourage me to go further.
hello guys:) as I’m doing your yoga workouts, I’ve been thinking that maybe you should make a hands free video for sore wrists:) because sometimes I have this problem, that I do too much, using weights plus power yoga workouts, lots of planks and I really feel my wrists hurting:( thank you, lot’s of love <3 <3 <3

Again, thank you for your video! Each time I do this practice, it not only feels good to my body, but it also takes me back to magnificent Peru! This is bliss!
as usual to the point, no iver the top explanation. thank you
The problem in the West is Yoga has been commercialised and is seen as just some kind of stretching & relaxation.
In fact I would call yoga the most difficult type of exercise possible, and would not recommend it to everyone.
I do some serious cardio and strength training, but none of it has been as difficult as yoga.
Yoga is about overcoming the real weaknesses your body has…And that is very difficult. For example I never realised how TIGHT my hip flexors were until I started Yoga and doing Lizard pose. My hip flexors were screaming of tightness.
What a wonderful yoga class! It has made my day! See you on the mat! Namaste
This one was really hard to follow along to without looking at the screen, which made me come out of some postures just so see exactly what you meant
Hi ma’am resentely I start my yoga chanel… My body is not perfect in this reason every time I thought a lot when public ly do yoga but at a time I realized that there are many perfect body behind me but they are not as flexible as I am..
And when I listen your vedio it’s inspired me a lot
Thank u for your vedio
Love your instructional videos, I could relate mainly the starting and stopping. I’m going to do your hips and hamstrings Tuesday to help with Kickboxing and Running. Thank you!!!!
Awesome content and high quality flow Have been looking for a long time so glad I found this channel! Please post more 30 minutes flow videos if you can:-)
Loved this class. As always, your attention to detail regarding postures and breathing was appreciated. I also enjoyed how we could scale this class from beginner to advanced as we choose. May I recommend more classes that allow that option so that intermediate levels can be accomodated.
Love your videos, really, never felt so Close to Mother Nature and my Belly button before. Thank you for giving me that feelings and my first Bandscheibenvorfall
I love how its a mix between strength building as well as flexibility work thanks so much for this practice
Thank you very much for the class! A tiny remark: this short musical intro in the beginning was too noisy in my opinion. All the rest of the class was great though.
So cool. Just discovered your channel 2 days ago. Really good yoga
This is one of my “go to” videos… Such a beautiful way to stretch and reset my mind, body and soul! Your videos are incredible and inspiring. Your words are encouraging, music choices uplifting and the settings are absolutely gorgeous. Thank you so much for this gift and all of your effort you put into your work!
On the raise your right arm comment some people (me) don’t know left from right so they may think they have the correct arm up you have to say other arm
I love these classes. I have inserted them into my daily practice schedule at least 3 times a week. The strength training in these classes is so unique and effective! Thank you, as ever, xox, Lolly
I have been doing one of your videos a day, I manage to find a new one every day, thank you so much for sharing so many, we all appreciate it!
Absolutely remarkable!!! Your yoga practices are an experience! Shukran Namastè ALL
What a beautiful flow. Its been almost a month doing your sessions, and every time I feel a new release. Thank you <3
Great stretch though short, ideal for today. Thanks for the variety! I know I can always find something to suit
We tried this workout as our lockdown team practice this morning through a Zoom meeting. It was great to follow it together and we found this a strong and challenging flow! It was good to try something out of our comfort zone, thank you!
I loved this class so much!!! Thank you for your videos
As a stiff person, it’s easy flow but it’s not peaceful to me.:-) I love your video. Thank U.
I just did my first day of a 10 day beginner yoga program on an app to follow my workouts and I honestly feel so good already, I think it’s going to be great to encourage me to keep up my workouts and be so good for helping me to be mindful and relax a little more
Love this flow!!! And the verbal guidance was very communicative! Love it when I can follow along with my eyes closed (most of the time). Just wanted to say thank you for making this video!
Heeey nice class but next time I would really apreciate if u could say the name of the positions please (:
Hugs from Portugal
thanks you I Love all your videos there’s always one depending on how you feel each day how about afew different yoga poses that would be fun too. I love yoga and keeping fit your videos are perfect for me i love nature too and find square sterile rooms boring and uninspiring. afew yoga poses in the garden beat a whole class inside a white square love 2 you both & thank you

Some slightly odd cuts (probably from the best of a couple of takes, I’m guessing) but damn if your classes aren’t amazing. Such good directions.
You are doing great job
But for weight loss yoga is not sufficient.
Your classes are amazing and helpful, May I know from where did u learnt yoga?
If this video was from 5 years ago, it’d end with a “dead body pose” and a deep purple overlay xD
Oh my gosh. After doing your videos everyday for 4 weeks I can put my forehead on my knees when my legs are straight out yay!! I’m seeing changes in my body. Also an increase in strength and flexibility. Thank you.
Thank you so much for creating and sharing this beautiful flow!:) It´s such a great combination of strength and calmness.
this practice was absolutely perfect. delightful! Thank you <3
This was amazing and exactly what I needed, although I say that for every yoga video you post. Thank you so much!
While following some of your yoga videos, I realized that your back goes like: \ during the downward dog pose, but my back refuses to straighten out, especially my lower back. I’m not sure if I can fix that, or if that’s just how my back is… but I’ll keep working on it and see what I can improve!
Thank you for these videos, I’ve been doing them on and off (mostly “off”) since I was 16 and I’m almost 20 now, but I always make my way back to your channel when I have the motivation
I love ALL of your videos! I’ve been doing them for a few months now and I feel amazing… Thank you for posting!
Love this practice! This was awesome to finish my day, thank you:)
Great I never try one class with you, woooow you are young and strong, I know you read all emails and also answer your students, OK keep and touch.
Remembet Adtiano from HadYai?NA-MA-STE

Loved this! Challenging, motivating and relaxing. Really enjoy your videos!
Sorry this is so much later than from when you posted… but how do you stay in high lunge for so long without your front leg hurting a lot? Like from not being strong enough? I always have to pause the video and take a break lol. I absolutely love your videos and you are the only yoga instructor I watch on YouTube. I love the inspirational intros, the beautiful scenery, and have learned so much and gained so much flexibility and relaxation from watching you:) Thank you for doing what you do for others. Love and light
Back again to your video!!!!!! Its always amazing following your classes on a sunny Saturday in Barcelona

I can’t get enough of your videos! You guys are absolutely amazing! Thanks so much for what you do!
Thank you for this! Good reminder about listening to the instructions and trying to prioritise poses we don’t like more as they’re often the most useful. I was feeling it with your Iyengar strong beginners routine as I’ve just got back into yoga and have never had good upper body strength and any core strength has gone! I just want the hard exercises to feel more enjoyable:(
I am canadian and I live in a cottage, so we are like twinsies!
amazing…….one must follow these exercises to keep ones fit…
Thank you so much for the video, it’s amazing practice for beginning of the day!!!! Love you!
You are amazing:) I started doing yoga everyday with you. I have never felt this strong and relaxed before:)Thank you!
Wow. Really enjoyed this as a recovery after overloads in other trainings. Huge thanks. I appreciate your approach. Very gentle to my broken knees and still gives enough load to switch the brain mindflow to lower mode. And it is so nice that you don’t interrupt shavasana with “like my video” and you give me time to continue shavasana as much as I need. Many thanks.
Thank Good for existing people like you, who transmit their knowledge and skills
