I’ve lost weight through diet and exercise alone. NO RX MEDS FOR ME!
So since Meridia contributed power to the formation of Mundus, is she able to manifest on it’s surface more easily in the same way the nine divines can? Or do the aedra that retreated with Magnus not have that ability because they didn’t fully bind themselves to Mundus?
Meridia: You are my chosen, use Dawnbreaker to quash the vile evil of the undead from the mortal realm!
Vigilant of Stendarr: Vile demon, what trickery is this?! How can a fell creature as yourself claim to be on the side of mortals?!
A NEW HAShut the fuck up bitch I’m not picking that up. Clean ya own damn house.
Her sphere is a fallen star. Just like how she was rejected from the heavens.
Light gives life.
Is it just me or is the “consorting with the daedra” reason for her being kicked from her family and her connection with mephala through the ring of khajiti making anyone else think they’re a thing lol
Pelinal Whitestrake has given the answer to the glister witch’s perfidy.
When I went to get the transmute spell and I picked this up for the first time, I was fcking terrified
How ironic a vampire helped her out then….it must have hurt to give me that sword. And me like ” Yeah suck on that lady light”
My theory: Being originally a Magna-Ge, she fled from the newly created Mundus when she understood she would lose her immortality and her power, so she might share the Aldmers’ hate for Lorkhan, so that might explain why she chose to support the Ayleids against the Nedic slaves, given that Men were originally the followers of Lorkhan.
If meridian hantes vampires so fucking much she should give mortals an equal power of light just saying
Meridia always proclaims her hate for the “Un”dead. But never did you hear her say something about Death. For life to exist the counterpart must exist to.
But the abomination on that rule is “Undead” which she sees as her ultimate enemy. And takes actions as such.
So? Would that make her evil in her choices? Or in her words?
One of my favorites. I simply love her ferocious conviction, she’s a zealot.
This Bitch just wants to be worshiped, she doesn’t care who does it or if they believe in what she teaches
My main theory about Meridia that I haven’t seen anyone else mention is that her domain isn’t actually life, it’s certainty. She wants everything to remain as it is and hates change. That’s why she hates rebellion, uncertainty, and undeath. If you listen to her dialogue in Skyrim it actually fits really well.
This quest was my first time fighting with draugr, but i was way more traumatized by this chick screaming to my hedphones how i’m touching her bacon. I’m a finn, and my hearing for english is selective.
She is not good or evil but she is pure light and life Incanate just llllllllllllliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggghhhhhhhhhtttttttttt. That is why she is my favorite god because she is light like me but not good or evil. Her d and d alignment is nuatrel good.
If the deadric princes had no interest in the realm of mortals then why do they all make deals and fuck with the mortal realm, it’s kind of contradictional.
and although meridia is not bad she does do questionable things, she kills all unlife and has distain for them yet there are good people among them there are good vampires yet she doesnt seem to care about that.
it does seem like her father cast her out for good reason to learn her lessons.
I just hope that Azura, Nocturnal, and Meridia can safeguard my dragonborn’s soul from the other daedric prince’s claims when I die.
Meridia, she loves being venerated, and hates the undead, everything else is negotiable.
Wait wait. The narrator says “…..not considered wholly evil. However this is contrasted by the vindictive rage she visited on the Aylied city of….” Then he goes on to tell the story of the Aylied Umaril. The whole time during the tale of Umaril I kept waiting to get to the part about Meridia’s rage, only to discover at the end that Umaril’s tale was totally unrelated. That could have been written better, as it was very unclear that the topic had shifted at that point. There was nothing to mark the transition, and as the narrator began talking about Umaril the impression it gave was that the story was a follow-up to the previous statement[Meridia’s rage]. If you aren’t going to elaborate on a statement, before beginning a new segment try to give some indication of the change of topic. Just some constructive criticism.
I think Meridia is one of the more benevolent princes. She may have blood on her hands here and there, and flaws yes. They may be deities but they do learn from their mistakes, and they have to make choices as well. She chose to aid her more loyal followers, even if it was against her beliefs. Though I will say, she could have taught them better than just aid them.
Hehe I was a vampire and she still had me helped. Guess the Daedric prince was desperate!
everybody here is having PTSD from the start of the quest, but not the buggy script which may or may not kill you when she “puts you back down”
anyway, i love the quest, it’s what i call the “get rich quick” temple, because EVERY burnt corpse has between 50 and 150 gold on it, more for imperials.
And i wan’t nothing more, than to press my face
between meridias lovely pair in loving embrace
a new hand touches the bea…
Me: wearing full set of modded armour based on pelinal
Can’t believe I played knights of the nine and didn’t know miridia was behind the whole thing like this
Meridia doesn’t seem so bad. I mean she hates Undead and Necromancy. Magnus is Badass too. Meridia seems like a Neutral Good Daedra
Is it possible that since Merida gave part of herself to the creation of Nirn she has better access to it than the other Deadric princess and also since she didn’t give too of herself to Nirn that also makes her stronger than the Aedra who did
It would be a shame for you not to get rid of fat when other typical people are able to shed weight easily by using Fenoboci Diet Plan (look on google search engine).
Well, she loves being worshiped more than she loves life and hate undeath.
She will always side with her worshipers (or those who worship her the most) even if it means that they are the aggressors, committing countless atrocities.
I’d say she’s indeed vain and biased, far from being perfect and omni-benevolent but overhaul she’s good.
The ayleids were never an unified culture as in a single nation. They were devided in many city-states that were constantly feuding with each other. The molag ball venerating cities like Abargalas for exemple was in an open war against the meridian following states. Actually many Aleyids city-states suported and joined forces with Alessia (like king Dynar) in hopes of defeating its rivals.
Hardly fair to equate the needs with that of the side of life, they genocided the aylieds first chance they got. The aylieds may have commited atrocities against the needs to be sure, but they certainly did not genocide them.
Well, I am a vampire lord, who raises dead, for breakfast and suck blood of every living creature. How come, that I am the Champion of Meridia?!
I know we take the piss out of “A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON” but Dawnbreaker is a chad weapon and a half.
Meridia consorted with daedra out of confusion of what was going on with her father and the others, as she was but a young daughter. Magnus thus did not allow her to be with the aedra, but did care for her by letting her keep light. Meridia is one of the few honorable daedric princes. While I cannot worship them, I can respect them and deal with them civilly.
So in essence she’s the best daedric prince, but that being an astonishingly low bar, it doesn’t say much.
You guys should do a follow-up video about the connection between Mehrunes the Razor, Merid-Nunda and Molag Bal.
tl;dr Meridia didn’t help Tamriel against Molag Bal out of the goodness of her heart. She helped because she has a personal hatred for him, due to his connection to the undead.
Meridia is easier to understand if you are a Magic The Gathering player. She is a white and red character. “Consorting with Daedra” basically means she is adept of change, because change sums up Padomaic concepts. Life changes because change means adapting, overcoming, becoming better, life is not meant to be unchangeable. The undead are a mockery of life, they don’t think, don’t change, don’t have wills of their own. Life is chaotic, as Meridia is.
i dont really care about pro mer thing
as long as i kill vamps draugrs (aka zombies withs swords) and other sorts of undead with dawnbreaker im gud
I think that meridia sided with the ayleids because her biggest desire, even bigger than life and light to the mortals, is a hidden sentiment vengeance against magnus and the magna ge who took away her physical holyness sending her to oblivion with the rest of the bad gods and against the divines who unconsiently took away her spiritual holyness by being them the venerated in mundus instead of her, even though in her opinion she is the one that brought light to mundus, the ayleids appreciated that light and appreciated her and many had even thrown away the cult to the divines to venerate her, they even captured the light coming from aetherious, and when a revolt supported by all the aedra started the ayleids were loyal to her, she saw in the ayleids vengeance, and the only way to bring vengeance against the aedra making mundus a place for the mortals who she saw as similar to her, betrayed and left alone by the aedras who wanted to be worshipped, while in reality what she didnt realize was that her goals were not different to those of what she thinks are the goals of the aedra
You think Meridia would have a very bloody history with Molag Bal and Namira considering that they spawned vampires and cannibalism which a Necromancer can easily take advantage of to create more undead after “feeding”), respectively. She would be the Elder Scrolls’ equivalent of Batman…kinda….
After meeting the other Daedra lords, her pompous nature is the only annoying thing about her, so it’s easy not to hold it against her… the others are even more pompous along with outright sick and twist and evil. As far as what happened a long time ago, she seems to have moved on.
Meridia! A city in Lunar Silver Star Story. Originally from Working Designs and one of the many firsts words in gaming before being stolen and copied by Bethesda!
I right away loved Meridia and I wish there was more quests to do with her or I wish she had more commentary like after defeating a bunch of the dead she says I serve her well ect. Ect. Because if this was IRL I totes would worship her sassy ass!
In fairness to her support for the Ayleids, she didn’t really intervene until they were basically facing genocide themselves. And even then, only after they brokered a deal with her.
People here worried about the beacon and I always leave it whenever I find it.
Merida doesn’t sound like a Daedric at all she’s all about Light not Darkness even in Skyrim she sounds very nice compared to the other Daedric Princes
Don’t think about paladin-esque orders following Medridia being assaulted by the Vigilants of Stendarr. Don’t. Think. About. It.
Meridia betrayed Darian Gautier. She can never be forgivven.
Only thing i got from this is that an attention seeking goddess likes it when our hands are touching her beacon.
What was the background OST playing in the background, it was beautiful
The crossguard quillions featured on this version of the Dawnbreaker are a simple addition that makes the sword’s overall design look so much better. Otherwise, it looks like a ripoff of King Theoden’s sword from Lord of the Rings.
Meridia was being venerated by the Ayleids. Were they not living? Life doesn’t mean only human life and in nature the weak are prey for the strong. The Nords proved that when they slaughtered the elves that lived in Skyrim. I think our scholar is a bit biased in what constitutes benevolence, for Meridia was truly benevolent to the Ayleids and upheld her pact with them in the face of mounting opposition. Sure she’s vain, all god-like beings are, aedra or daedra.
I know its 2019 and all but skyrim is a older game and if ‘she’ is a she, why is she titled a prince? Also how was she not exonerated for her dedication to light?
i wish we could get armor kinda like stalhrim but with more of a dwarven or elvish feel to it so i could complete my look of a daedric champion build with spellbreaker and dawnbreaker as my tools of combat. it doesn’t look quite right with either dwarven or elvish armors on with them, not to me at least. if moonstone kept a bit of it’s crystal look to it then i would think it would be a lot more fitting with them. glass kinda works a bit more but still not quite right
Ugh hated her so much that I dumped her stupid sword to depths of blackreach.
TRY HAVING NEW CHAMPIONS NOW BITCH!
Isn’t there a lore flaw in this video? I thought Perinal fought Umaril in the Imperial City, alone after noone else dared to attack the White Gold Tower, not somewhere in the woods.
whenever i hear the words “Dawnbreaker” i dont think of this artifact. I think of a Pathfinder spell that does a nice AOE of Holy and Fire damage around a target.
fits with Meridia too.
The first time I did her quest and obtained Dawnbreaker I thought “So, am I a Belmont now?”.
It always struck me as odd that you can’t find anyone worshiping her, all the other daedra have followers you can encounter.
Are we sure that account Of my already a helping the aliens wasn’t just Propaganda to vilify all dadra Because they were trying to enforce their Imperial pantheon as the only good gods to worship
She probably supported the Ayelids so heavily because they worshipped her so heavily and as we all know the more worshippers a deity has the more powerful they are, so considering how highly the Ayelids thought of Meridia it is no wonder she defended them so ardently they probably gave her quite a bit of power.
The Aelids held light above all things and were loyal to Meridia. She reciprocated the loyalty to her people and did not betray them. Can’t really say she’s evil or against life for that. If humans took over, the world may become dark, and darker daedra rule the lands. She was just trying to keep this imperfect world full of corruption as close to the light as possible. Can’t blame her for that.
Next, you can’t get mad at her for saying what she said to the Dragonborn. Imagine an immortal being looking at mortals as ignorant children who are just learning life. I mean, she has a point. She wants to help, but they think they know better. Typical of humans right? So maybe she is good.
What you should have added, is the reason she was cast out from the Aedra. This would have been vital evidence for proper judgment.
Why do you (or the lore) say Prince when it’s clearly a female? Wouldn’t she be a deadric princess?
Vigilants of Stendarr: “Y’know we thought about changing our name to the ‘Vigilants of Meridia’ but you ever hear that she’s a DAEDRA!? YUCKY!”
Is it just me, or is Pelinal Whitestrake a goddam INSPIRATION?!
god i miss tes 4 oblivion. hands down one of my favorite games of all time…guess it’s back to tamriel, but i still have things to do in far harbor…
Do you know what’s funny? Meridia made me her champion and I was a vampire and she hates undead
The Exegesis of Merid-Nunda, ancient Ayleid scripture about Meridia, doesn’t at all say she “consorted” with Daedra (though that is said in another source). It actually portrays her as choosing to take up residence in Oblivion instead of fleeing back to Aetherius. When she gets to Oblivion, all the Princes rebuff her and demand she leave. But should could not have cared less what the Daedric Princes wanted, so she just laughed in their faces and went about creating her own realm of Oblivion using light from Aetherius.
From that short work, we can infer how the Ayleids perceived Meridia. To them, she is both a creator and sustainer of Mundus. Whereas Magnus and the other Magna Ge abandoned creation and fled back to Aetherius, she did not. And though she did not fully sacrifice herself to stabilize creation as did other et’Ada, she remained in close proximity to it. This is likely why she is called “Lady of Infinite Energies” and “is associated with the energies of living things.” Also evident—and interesting—is that the Ayleids depict her in an almost adversarial role toward all the other Daedric Princes (or, more accurately, them as adversarial toward her) while at the same time claiming that title and role for herself.
after sacrificing my follower to boethia and then getting revenge on boethia by killing her priest for molag bal my character has found redemption by being meridias champion to go on a journey to destroy all undead.
In defence of Meridia’s choice of siding with Ayleids…
Men had Pelinal Whitestrake, which was a genocide personified.
Yeahhh, she less “gave” Darien Dawnbreaker, and more created him to wield it, then destroyed him once he’d served his purpose and started developing free will… >_>
this bitch needs to get fleshed out in TES6, a paladin that gets champion/reputation bonuses from her (like Umaril the Unfeathered and such!!) would be op af
Maybe Maridia has a secret hatred for mortals because she sees them as a mistake that she would rather be rid of. Sort of like a mortal mother wanting a child but when she realized how hard it is to care for a child she would rather be rid of it. But she can’t to get rid of us now so she’ll take our suffering instead.
Deadric Prince of bleeding ears. A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON!1!!!!1!!!1!
“Listen, hear me and obey. A foul darkness has seeped into my temple, a darkness you will destroy.”
No, no I don’t think I will.
Out of all of the deific beings in the Elder Scrolls, I’d be a devout follower of Meridia.
Meridia: The 5 foot, blackbelt, Hello Kitty aesthetic chick who will drink you under the table just to prove you’re a lightweight with a big mouth.
Might also dom you if you’re not careful.
Daedra and Aedra I would worship if Elder Scrolls was real: Dibella, Kynareth, Meridia, Sanguine, Hermaeus Mora
Easily one of the most interesting Daedric Princes to learn about.
She didn’t seem to mind me using necromancy to fight the necromancer. Dumb broad.
I think I’d probably be one of Meridia’s followers if the Elder Scrolls were real, mainly because my birthday is on her summoning day.
So meridia is just Lucifer? Venus? The morning and evening Star
Trinimac was not a Deadra lol he was a Chimer, he wasn’t even Elnofey. Bro???
The Ring of Khajiiti is actually Meredia’s wedding ring, and she’s married to Mephala.
You forgot to mention that shes an absolute bitch and that all players should avoid her beacon at all costs.
You know, I’m actually surprised the Dominion doesn’t worship her like their Aylied cousins. It seems to me the eight divines (really nine) were a primarily human/empire cult, not a mer one.
Hey, a chest, o boy, all this valuable stuff, i’m just gonA NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON
She’s my fav daedra. I would love to see a story of her ascending back to aedra-hood
The only daedra im willing to work with when doing a paladin playthrough.
So…what your saying is she is the daedric goddess of……CRUSADES? Big E I think we have a wife for you.
Then why does she call ME, a vampire who pledge his life and devotion to Molag Bal to clean up her messy temple?
I just assume the Daedra she associated herself with was Azura. It just makes sense to me that a Light Aedra would become friends with a benevolent Daedra of Dusk and Dawn.
Long live the Divine Crusaders, Glory to Pelinal Whitestrake!
So, she is an aedra and daedra at the same time?
I mean, she helped create the world, so by definition she can’t be a daedra. She is an aedra with a bad social circle
I believe the elder scrolls lore is the deepest in Videogame history
“walk always into the light, or i will drag you to it” my character favorite quote
I took alli and I really liked it. prob one of very few but it helps me eat well and I take Topamax for migraines. never lost weight on it.
I expected Meridia’s daedric world would be more like peaceful and full of light…
I’ve been trying to lose weight since I had my son a year and a half ago. I’m 5″1 & My current weight is 178 lbs wich means I’m considered obese. I’ve tried everything eating right cutting out carbs working out 4 days a week 3 hours a day. and nothing seems to work. I also tried over the counter weight loss products like hydroxycut, slim quick, skinny teatox, Jillian Micheals 14 day burn and clease and quick trim by Kim Kardashian.
I even went to extremes and bought the Hollywood 24 miracle diet. after trying everything I noticed I couldn’t even lose 1 single pound. And I’m desperate for an answer.
I got my thyroid checked the doctor said everything looked fine. So I don’t know what could be causing this. When I was pregnant with my son I had gestational Diabetes I wonder if that could be the reason why this is happening to me. Please help!!!
Meridia, God of throwing you into the lower atmosphere and screaming in your face.
I always wonder what the ‘good’ Daedra (Meridia, Azura, Trinimac) motives were for not contributing to the creation of Nirn.
(I suppose Meridia wasn’t a Daedra at that time, after watching the video)
Between her affinity for light and her “cast out angel” backstory, why doesn’t anyone ever comment that she is clearly a Lucifer parallel? Honestly, of all 16 Daedric Princes (Jyggilag counts, fight me), Meridia scares the shit out of me the most! I really think ESO’s continuous inclusion of her in major events as well as Darious’s increasingly worrying letters are leading up to her being a BBEG.
I did her quest, put dawbreaker in a display case, then became a vampire and left dawnbreaker in that case. So much for spreading your influence lady!
Spirits tend to not be the most flexible of beings but they do stay true to their purpose. She hates any perversion of life and will show no mercy to those who corrupt it. Doesn’t mean she is always beneficial but she at least does seem to want to aid and doesn’t seem to view mortals as playthings. Better the most in that respect.
Fun fact for all of you that read this:
The term “Magnus” is also used i Theistic Satanism, it is a high ranked “priest” in their group. Like if you learned something new by my comment!
So is a Magna-Ge in a way a lesser Aedra or a angel type follower or creation of a aedra?
Its funny in my game I always am a vampire in every play through and ever game lol. She seems fine with me each and every time but I suppose when your minions are derps and one very capable vampire waddles by you put your hate aside to get something done I suppose. xD
As a humble Follower of Sunlight from the faraway land, I find her grossly incandescent. \[T]/
Meridia: A NEW HAND TOUCHES THE BEACON.
Me: No god please no no… NOOOOOOOOO
Have you ever thought about doing a series on the A Song of Ice and Fire novels?
Just started a new file and im still looking for the beacon. I WANT to get the Dawnbreaker to use for Dawnguard.
She Claims to be good. But like any Immortal we are but ants. they care about their image, not you or your life. its over in a flick of an eye to them. But of picks you would rather deal with her then Say old nocturnal
Wtf Meridia? I thought you were one of the good guys. And then you go and side with those pesky elves and help them defeate Pelinal Whitestrake?
The only thing simplistic about the dichotomy of good and evil is the idea that the dichotomy of good and evil is simplistic.
1:08
Was that a Bionicle reference or just coincidence?
Either way DAMN YOU FOR DRIVING MY NOSTALGIA UP THE WALL!!! DX
Did you know…
the average person swallows six Maridia’s beacons in their sleep every year?
Next is the most Ferocious and beastly of the Daedric princes.
What happen If i am a necromancer and make the Dawn breaker quest?
Absolutely amazing narrorating. You can just tell how much work was put into these videos. Great job!
Ah my second favorite Daedric Prince. Hircine will always be my favorite.
If you make her beacon stay in one bloody location on her quest in Skyrim
“A new hand has touch the beacon” xD
Love her voice acting
Narrator: in the time before time…
Me: why do I hear Bionicle music?
A new hand touches the bacon…I mean beacon. A new hand touches the beacon.
“A New hand touches the One ring. Now you have to return it to its master and get an honest reward. DEATH!”
Best narrative voice for elder scrolls, official or unofficial, EVER!
does anyone think a knight of the nine would wield such a weapon?
His voice kinda reminds me of sheogorth mixed with hircine and Hermaus mora
Came back to watch this to remind myself when shoddyCast was cool
I just came here to listen to Meridia’s voice but this was equally interesting
Meridia should actually be considered a Aedra because she was created by Anui-el not Sithis so she is just called a daedra because she was banished from Aetherius for reasons unknown.
We’ve got stars directing our fate
And we’re praying its not too late
Cause we know we’re falling from grace
Miridia…
I love your SCP series and now I’m watching the rest! Why not cover the Exegesis in this video? I think it provides much more information than anything from the games.
It’s unfettered, not Unfeathered. I know this video is old, but that peeves me.
What about the thyroid cancer risk with Saxenda? I wanted to try it but that’s a scary side effect.
Excellent video. What is the name of the background music from 1:09? Thank You.
Excellent video. What is the name of the background music from 1:09? Thank You.
One must wonder why Dawnbreaker doesn’t show up in Oblivion, considering the Mage’s Guild questline
Maybe meridia doesn’t like vampires and other undead because they make her think of her role beeing part of the deadric princes yet not really beeing one herself just like the vamps and undead not quat beeing deadric but a mixture of beeing human and deadra.
I think you’ve got her all wrong! She loves life and death is part of life’s cycle! So it’s logical to assume she respects death also! She also is faithful to those under her patronage! Assisting them in their Battles seems the right thing to do for a prince of oblivion, does it not? I think she is what she says and her self importance is well earned!
Her original name as a Magma Ge was Merid-Nunda. She wasn’t Meridia until after she was cast to Oblivion for conspiring with illicit spectra/Daedra.
“where there is list there must also be darkness”
That’s actually the exact opposite of the truth lol…
I love the Dawnbreaker. I am an Imperial who joined the Dawnguard with the load out of Heavy Dawnguard Armor and Full Plate Helmer with the crossbow and Dawnbreaker.
I’m going to start blogging on Saxenda as I’m Day#2. First day went ok. Phentermine would be my option as I used it in past with success.. Doctor said because I had heart rate issues. Belviq did nothing for me.
Daedra are more powerful than the magna ge, having lost none of their power in the creation process. Perhaps Meridia made some sort of pact with Mephala, the daedra of lies and secrets, in order to regain the power she lost by becoming daedric in nature, the sharing of the ring being something to do with the pact they have made.
Why does this feel like yesterday that these were getting posted. Please bring it back
Racism against elves is strong here. Once the glorious Thalmor destroyed Mundus we Altmer will be gods again and show humans filth where they belong
Dawnbreaker is nice and unique but physical damage wise it is weaker then a daedric weapon
Hmmm. A fallen servant of the creator of the world the game is in? A representative of light? I wonder if she has any connection to the myth of Lucifer. Lucifer means morning star or something to that effect.
Dawn breaker is one of my favorite uniques (downloaded mods to make it on par and what not) but I hate meridia. She is my least favorite daedra lord. Of course I played lots of earlier elder scrolls iterations and ice blade of the monarch is my favorite. But skyrim was so bland that I like dawnbreaker the most aesthetically
Meridia is a child of the god of magick, right?
So, which magic use life energy itself in form of light and is heavily anti-undead?
Make me wonder, could Meridia be the personification of restoration magic?
And the magna-ge represents the different aspects of magic.
She/it needs to do a much better job. SKYRIM IS CRAWLING WITH UNDEAD AND NECROMANCY!
When it came to after doing “The Break of Dawn” quest in my first playthrough of Skyrim, Dawnbreaker became the main weapon my Nord Dragonborn used.
Do one on Sheogorath. He’s my favorite one and I absolutely LOVED his quests and missions and DLC.:)
is it just me or does the dadra seem more reliable and useful and good then
Of all the Daedra she certainly has the most godlike presence to her.
Okay, what is the name of the song in the background???? I know it’s from Skyrim, but I CANNOT find it on the OST.
A N E W H A N D T O U C H ‘ S T H E B E A C O N
The aurons sound cool I wish they were a deadra you could summon, but if you did that wouldn’t that be consider necromancy?
WOW! my Pelinal Whitestrake armor mod was used in a Shoddycast video! i had no idea! makes me feel kinda ashamed that i didn’t bother fixing some minor bugs on it.
this narrator is AWESOME!! makes me feel like i’m actually watching some real big budget documentary on british tv!
I want a lore video purely about Whitestrake, that guy is a badass.
Meridia is not a deadra, by definition. She helped with the creation of Mundas. She is Magnus’ daughter, and as such she was an et’Ada. So, unless the distinction I’ve been given is wrong, those who helped with creation, are not deadra.
Question wouldn’t she still be considered a Aedra since she was born by Anui-el not Sithis.
hot take, the ayleids were a bunch of diverse city states, and its likely that much of the rhetoric regarding them is hyperbolized.
Normally I wouldn’t try to justify the destruction of a city, but Abargalas kind of had it coming. Meridia didn’t interfere with this city until they attempted to destroy and sacrifice an entire city of her followers to Molag Bal. Its complete destruction might seem harsh, but it would have been a constant threat to the entire region if it remained.
So she was kicked out of Aedra land just because she wanted to make friends
Thats not right
A good girl falls for the atypical bad boy and burns her reputation… afterwards he kicks her to the curb.
She then becomes his worst enemy.
That does not make you fat as it hasn’t got an insulin response.. what carbohydrates in sugar… yes but if you eat carbs and sugar together you will get fat
Meridia, Azura, Cheesegorath and Malacath are my favorite picks when playing a good character, although Azura can be a bitch if you disappoint her lol
I open a chest and see her BEACON. I immediately back away and constantly repeat the mantra ” NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE…”
Well, it can be possible, that Meridia was cool with mass killing of humans by Ayleids, cos she only stands in defense for “unchanged”, true life. Maybe she doesn’t recognize humans as pure, original living beings, worth protecting, cos they were changed in their nature by Lorkhan, such as undead is life changed by spirits of Oblivion. And as undead, she may stand for total annihilation of humans aswell.
seeing how Magnus still has most of his power… isn’t he actually more powerful than the 9 divines? and considering he is basically the source of magic… he should be more powerful than any daedric prince… why isn’t he worshiped as a god by the people of Tamriel?
Maybe the reason Meridia was banished from the sky is because she was tricked into creating new life forms or initially decided to do so on her own. She was banished but understood that one should not play with life energies and create new beings just for fun or personnal interest. This may be the reason she hates undead and everything that taints souls.
rember all those auroans in the knights oif the nine where hers she willingly gave to umarill
What is Custokebon Secrets? We have noticed several amazing things about this popular fat burn method.
This dudes voice is like cocaine. Addictive and I can’t get enough
Meridia’s beacon is faceted like an Indian garnet, I used to have one that looked just like it
I love how in skyrim, with just two lines and excellent voice acting you instantly get her whole character.
Thx for the info. You briefly mentioned it for smoking, but what about Wellbutrin for weight loss? One study in ‘02 found 13lbs weight loss in 12 weeks compared to 6lbs with placebo.
I recently lost 15 lbs with this 2 weeks diet. You must try it! i want to share this secret with everyone!! find the details in http://bit.ly/fast2weekdiett.
Is it possible that Meridia was playing as a double agent during the Ayelid/Nedic war?
She loved the Ayelid people because they worshipped her, but also knew they needed to be punished, so She sent soldiers that would sabotage them to teach a lesson. Also possible that she wanted to save face with the survivors of the culture who loved her so much.
Just a theory.
I’m one of the rare patients that gain weight on Topamax sad
Meridia and azura are both my favorites. Along with nocturnal and tiddies
God I hate Meridia. Every time I open a chest I have to take an extra second to make sure I don’t accidentally loot her stupid golf ball
Here’s another one:
” berberine was effective in lowering blood glucose and lipids levels, reducing the body weight, and alleviating the oxidative stress in diabetic hamsters, which might be beneficial in reducing the cardiovascular risk factors in diabetes.”

Hi! No I did not start out slow. The only reason is cause I was already the welbuterin and the NP thought maybe I didn’t have to… but it wasn’t the suggested side effects that bothered me. It was other ones… like my head tingling and my hair falling out more than the usual the usual strand or two?? Like a decent glob of hair… which the NP assured me was not a side effect of the meds???? A head ache… behind my right eye. The worst was I was actually hungry!!! I have been eating so well and had overcome any cravings and I felt like I actually needed to eat! And lastly my watch and ring were tight… and my fingers were warm and bloated. I didn’t lose anything that week 1/2 so I went off of it. Clearly I took it wrong or it’s just not for me? Anyway, it wasn’t worth the last twenty but it was expensive.:(
Hi! You didnt mention a new one called contrave? I was hoping to hear your thoughts and info on that one. And is the tingling in arms a side effect or an indication of a greater problem?
