Basically, eating before helps with longer duration, which makes sense cuz your body can only take so much of those stored fatty acids before running into overdrive.

But if it was me since I’m a vegan I’d probably sub in tofu or such, though I don’t eat it that much, I eat pb2 and quinoa (separate) for protein more often (but only 2-3 servings of pb2 per day and 4 servings of legumes).
Though more often, I prefer tofu in desserts.

I really like jumping rope. At first the reason why i want to jumping rope to lose weight but after 2 weeks of jumping rope. I do it already for the hobby. I really like jumping rope especially when i perfect already the new tricks. Everytime i have a break i do jumping rope even in just less than 1 minute. If i feel that i’m hard to do the tricks i just do the regular bounce jump. For me jumping rope is the B E S T!

Your body uses the stored energy even if you eat before exercise. It takes a couple of hours for your body to digest and process what you have put into it. So therefore it has no effect on anything. Eat or not, there is no difference.
But if you don’t eat for a long duration and exercise, then it could have negative side effects on your body.
I would recommend eating before or right after an exercise. Prolonged fasting & exercise together can be damaging to your health.

As for me, I do the jump rope exercise every morning for 30 minutes to start my day. Then I have a tiny protein shake on my way to work where I eat oatmeal for breakfast. For lunch I usually have some kind of protein with veggie, and that is it until I get home. Then I head out to the gym to do some weight lifting and cardio. I’m trying to finish the day with light dinner since its usually almost 8 o’clock. Haven’t been really loosing weight but at least I am not gaining fat (hopefully), so I got that going for me..

I started jumping rope like a week ago. I bought decent rope and jump almost every day 20mins and after i do some belly exercises for around 15mins. I have thyroid gland so its pretty hard for me to eat in calorie deficit, but i will try my best. If i want to get good results it has to be hard. Thanks for giving me motivation on jumping rope.:D
Fasting before a workout might work for a quick jump rope workout but I am a swimmer and I’ve tried fasting. I found that I was dying midway through the 90 minute workout. The best snack for me before a workout is a banana. After I workout I drink a chocolate milk almost immediately. Then I have some kind of cereal for breakfast. Even on days that I jump rope instead of swim I always start with a banana.

I hate to be in a caloric deficit (tried it religiously for 1 month and a half) and I can’t really workout in fasted state because I am super sensitive to having a hypoglucemy and it feels like I’m gonna die. Even though I am not doing any of those two things I managed to burn a ton of fat, but I’m kinda worried I will plateau and that I will have to do both those things I’m avoiding.
Man…getting in shape is hard as fuck!
I also like to workout in fasted state, so water, water and water:) And than of course after big delicious meal. Love intermittent fasting!

A bit off topic but I just picked up jump roping but I also have been doing cycling for a while do you think doing both in a single day is cool? Or should I break up cardio workouts like this? Also I am not going to lie I feel like I get more out of jumping rope than cycling but I really like the push pull strength I am getting from it x_x. when i am walking is ok sugar labes go down slowly… but ones i star running goes down very fast in less than ten minutes ill be in the 60’s
My routine is like I workout 2 times a day
Morning before workout: Drink green tea+banana and before workout
After12 am Afternoon:normal roti+ any vegetable with boiled paneer
During 5pm before workout:green tea + egg white+banana +orange
At 9am: Normal roti +vegetable
Is it good routine for weight loss

I dont like working out after eating since it wakes me up, but after I eat and workout. It hurts my stomach since im still digesting it. Like your forcing your body to digest faster. I usually just drink smoothie before workout

Great video once again I’m 30 and currently 118kg and desperate to lose weight prior to my police fitness test. I workout 4-5 times a week doing cardio (bleep test) and weight training. I don’t take any supplements or shakes etc because I just don’t know what is really best for me and I would love any advice you could give please?

Currently at 180.6lbs and want to lose 20-25lbs and lose fat along the way. Would having a upper/ lower body split 4x a week while on a low carb/ calorie diet help me achieve my goal? And what are some things I can do to speed up the process?
