This indeed is the best diet plan I have ever seen. I am a physician as well, and have experimented with veganism for 2 years, but didn’t feel well. Have moved around Paleo as well.
RAW vegan is the best diet, mix it with Paleo (no modern man made plants like grains or GMO ) but keep it still raw vegan.raw vegans eat as much as they want, they don’t count calories or carbs and lose weight naturally.
As a relatively new lifter, ive only been lifting in a calorie defecit for about 4 months, when i start my lean bulk how much weight do you think would be optimal to gain per month as i could probably gain muscle tissue easier than an advanced lifter without gaining too much fat?

this makes no sense. there’s nothing vegan about pegan if animal products are involved. period. this is just a whole foods paleo diet, not a real paleo-vegan.

Wen I was growing up we were really poor and we ate healthier than naw, in a farm my parent’s feed us whatever we grew in the farm mostly vegetables eggs legumes, we grew healthy and happy
I like what Dr Hyman has to say. I’m on day 9 of quitting sugar and I’m starting to feel much better. Better than I’ve felt since I can remember.

Dairy farmers feed their cows skittles. If I were breast feeding I wouldn’t be eating skittles or other things because it goes into the breast milk. Adding skittles to a cows diet makes the milk sweet. Cows do not digest skittles any better than we do as farmers out right say.

this is not the pegan diet. having animal products at breakfast, lunch, and dinner does not come even close to being vegan….? a true pegan diet would include no animal products, but also no legumes or grains and low in sugar/fruit, just like the paleo diet.
People have to find what works for them. Everyone is different. DNA tests have proven that.

Excellent breakdown, and although i never heard of this diet until now, i can completely relate to the concept described. I lost 55/kg/121 lbs with keto in over a little more than a year and reached normal weight, and i can say that it was rather easy, somehow keto stuck well with me. After i reached the initial weight target, i struggled to return to a more complete and rounded up diet, and this is where i found out about reverse dieting, flexible dieting. While i will always be grateful for finding out about keto, now i know why it was not sustainable after the weight loss target was reached. A great thank you for the excellent content!
