Not sure what it’s called but I think it’s by Nobbie Williams
Damn that’s all on day 1 I bought it at day 2 n I didn’t get no 10 incense or poke balls n yea I got a ton of Pokémon but I caught like more than 20 fire Pokémon n I didn’t get no charizard
I could barely send friend gifts due to the bug that prevented the friend list from showing.
now i’m done with enigma week how to proceed to next unova week?
So I didnt get a ticket but I’ve been playing most of the day, ive been notified that i unlocked a couple of the ultra weeks? I obviously dont have access to the global challenges. Will i really have access to the weekly events if i didnt get a ticket or is it just a glitch.
Does the raids for Rayquaza an other 5 stars Pokémon will just for the ones that bought the ticket
So if I didn’t buy a ticket I don’t get the global challenges?
i wish it was me…and sure i wana past the horn too…. im only 18 i studie in navigation and hell i will bought an sail boat one day! and please respect these man they are real
amazing. i love it, i wanna cross the cape horn, and die there, if i must. i love the storm.
Plz awnser how do u go to the global arena it says to go there so I can do challenges but I don’t know how to get thereee

Oh my god I can’t Believe u just joined my raid invite! I’m freaking out! We just fought Tyranitar. Sadly we didn’t win because we only duo it. I really thought more people would join but it was fun anyway next time I will only invite you if there is people first if there is a next time Ik u have to do everyone first.
Do you know if they announced what is happening on go fest day 2 yet?
I live for thus kind of sailing, I sail 420s right now but I’ve sailed a couple of big boats, but this in a 420 is the most amazing rush… And I’ve only snapped a rig once…
um no, someone here is suggesting the speed indicator was reading 38 knots. These boats can not do that kind of speed. They are fast but only half that fast. The indicator you see was reading km/h. So it was only going about a little over 20mph. But ya, that is insanely fast on a displacement hull. After all, a sailboat is not a planing hull. A planning hull can be faster than her hull speed with enough power behind her. A displacement hull can never exceed her hull speed as she can not get up on plane. At times on a big wave she can exceed her hull speed and that is surfing. Very, unstable for a displacement hull to surf. Once you find yourself doing that best to reduce sails or sea anchor. Qualifications: 1 Circumnavigation aboard a 33 foot Pearson with wife. Other qualifications: divorced shortly after returning from voyage.
Tja…..wer früher refft ist später tod…..+wer korrekt! eingepickt ist..wird nicht von der Kante gespüllt
Thanks for raiding with me I can’t believe that actually happened it was a blast
This looks absolutely terrifying! I would LOVE to do this. I can image it would feel something like judgment day.
BT was the only one going east-west. Sailing upwind through the southern ocean would be a killer!
I just completed Vancouver-SF on 50 ‘ Beneteau and have concluded that doing foresail changes on a heaving deck, at night, in the rain, is most exhilarating only after one has survived it. Me? I think I have proved all I need to and will enjoy the America’s Cup races from the deck of something dry where I won’t spill my drink.
If you are experienced in sailing, you should already have sailed through it once. You should always avoid these circumstances, because of the immense risks (what would happen if the rig fails for example). But truthfully, it is certainly a great feeling to fight against these conditions having so much adrenaline and you heart pumping like a maniac! >:D
My heart rate goes up and the blood starts pumping. I want to push a boat that hard once. As long as it isn’t mu boat
most thoughest race is vendee globe. only the best can achieve it.
No video can adequately represent the experience of sailing a race yacht across the Atlantic and sailing through Hurricane Hugo in ’89. The added dimension of dealing with this in the pitch black of night is by far and away the most humbling experience I have ever endured.
Only issue is that if someone gets injured badly and in need of help, it does not seem that they could get help quickly, too risky for me,
For those wanting to know the music. Opening part is from “Glorious” by Andreas Johnson. The main choral piece is “Cold War” by Christopher Payne.
This is insane, i havn’t been close to this, and i get frighten evertime its start to blow up out at sea
Hey, that’s funny:)
I sailed on one of these boats for a week @ UKSA. In a force 8. On he irish sea ^^
First 3 days nothing but throwing up, but after that, i never felt more alive xD Credits to divedog 59 lolz.
Beats the heck out of crab fishing video, LOL. I sailed in weather ONCE similar to that in a 35 foot Choy Lee Catch, and the woman who owned it gave me the helm so she could go ride on the bow sprit naked. Sailors. Sheesh!
1:36 and 2:04 they fkin disappear….no candy ass pirate there….
dude, 2:05 through 2:08 with the men aboard the bow manning the sail shows ya how powerful that water is! one moment there there, roague wave in a split second and they’re gone!
@grumpybowman some sailboats can do 50+ knots. Look up L’Hydroptere. Also, 38 knots is about 40 MPH. These boats are shallow draft with large keels and oversized sails.. They are designed to do just one thing, go fast and stay fast for long periods of time.
Does anyone else remember seeing this on TV back when it was first shown? I think I was only 11 at the time, but that song has stuck in my head, and being a boater myself, whenever I hear it while out boating it always reminds me of the beginning to this video.
@bunnydrumming Agree, and if you don’t like inexperienced people then don’t sail with them. If I had 25 grand to drop to sail in that race I would. I have some recreational sailing background but we all know to get this experience on your own boat, with your own crew, etc will cost far far more than 25 grand. You don’t need to own a airplane to take an airplane ride…
@etchellclass Because I have sailed the southern ocean a few times and thats exactly what its like. The skipper yelling out “Look out” the way the bow crashes into the next wave. The colour of the water was another good indicator as well was the wind speed. They were a few things I had noticed.
@R00RAL Just wonder, how can u tell? Why not the North Pacific? Just curious i guess..
@grumpybowman when you have posted your sailing CV you might be in a position to judge the crew of the BT Global Challenge. As one of the bowmen on board in 2001 i know what it was like in the Southern ocean, TWICE. Have you been there? er, didn’t think so. Professionals from every level of the sailing community from Volvo to America’s cup congratulated and showed huge interest in our story, paid for or not. So, post your sailing CV and we’ll pick up on your achievements!
@grumpybowman of course they knew what they were letting themselves in for training for these races is very thorough now and then! To call people numpties and idiots just because they have paid to take part in an amazing experience says more about you then it does about them.
2:07 Beating around Cape Horn during a gale. Thats going to leave some bruises. Intense!
@pbr2424 They were secured to the boat with lifelines, if you watch the video again you should catch a few glimpses of the lines attached to both the crew and to the jackstays.
@c0nn0rfred Only 4 are owned by the Tallships Youth Trust. But several of their sister ships are also used for sail training by the Ocean Youth Trust and Challenge Wales. 2 are now polar explorer ships, 1 is privately owned and the other is laid up in Germany last I heard. These vessels are pretty ideal sail training boats and it’s good to see them put to such good use.
@DouglasMiles1 @Grumpybowman is correct about these boats not doing the speeds you suggest. The Challenger 72 hulls are made from 6mm steel and the boats weigh about 53 tonne when kitted up for the races. I believe the fasted speed they clocked was 18-20 knots.
“I would be shitting in my pants… these guys are insane” Haha yes!
@dteberle Not so….Those are conditions that EVERY experienced sailor wants to sail THROUGH. There are very few experienced sailors who want to do so again. I am one.
En uno de estos barcos va mi hijo Richie {edad18} cruzando el Atlantico, esta a mil millas de las Azorez.!!!Buen viaje a todos!!!
At 2:05 where did those people go on the port bow. Hope they were tied off because I wouldn’t count on being rescued going overboard. I think they just disapeared.
In case people missed it, the speed indicator was reading 38 knots. And that’s not the wind speed.
They must be mad to have the crew out there not strap into their safety harness! not the right time for MOB drill lads…
@TheDrummer178 these guys get paid, and if they win they get paid even more. But, I see your point.
went on these boats last week they are owned by the “tall ships youth trust” for kids to have a sailing experience lived in it for the week amazing but not rough sea’s just the bottom of the uk lol
Been out on a sailboard in conditions like these…and all you can do is pray that the good Lord will spare you…at least until the next time one venture’s out in 40 knot+ winds
Hang On, BOOM-Whooooosssshhhh.
Great shots of big swells wanting to take you overboard or break your bones, lacerate your skin…
The global challenge arena is located in the “today” tab of the research menu. Tap the binoculars button and swipe from left to right to get there.
That was fucking awesome…I think it looked like a lot of fun, in a sick “oops I think I shit my pants” kind of way. The kind where you didn’t realize that it was fun until you get back on shore!
I wanna know how many knots they were still pulling with the trysail out.
Nice video..:P is there someone who know what the first piece of music is called..?
How to get the challenge to unlock dragon week?
I didn’t get any global arena challenge.
When I get ultra unlock bonus challenge? Please tell me
I have no tickets
Racing. Pushing the limits. Gaining some, loosing some. Finding the balance between driving the boat hard without loosing too much time when the call to change sails is made. This includes the constantly updated holistic knowledge of boat, crew and equipment condition. This is the art of a professional skipper. It comes naturally without effort to the good ones. You can recognise them through the actions of their crew.
A Welsh sail training charity has Olympia and she’s now known as Challenge Wales.
Unbelievably exhilirating, and wet, by the looks of it. One of these is in Cardiff now and renamed as Challenge Wales, the others are all over the world!
@johnchang7 If you look closely, everyone is harnessed and tethered to the boat.
