The 4-hour body diet is similar to early Atkins versions in that it doesn’t limit your food intake, but does limit your food choices. Both diets ban grains and most fruit. Still, the 4-hour body diet is much higher in carbohydrates and fiber than Atkins, since it encourages legumes in unlimited quantities.Indeed, and much more.
This is not just another diet and fitness book. The 4-Hour Body is the result of an obsessive quest, spanning more than a decade, to hack the human body. It contains the collective wisdom of hundreds of elite athletes, dozens of MDs, and.Sears, who developed the Zone diet, says there is no such thing as a 4-hour body. “Skip the 4-hour body and opt for a 24-hour-365-day-a-year body, because you need a plan that makes sense that.
It’s important to mention right off the bat that 4 Hour Body isn’t a diet, it’s a lifestyle. I don’t mean to split hairs, I’m being serious. What most people really mean when they say 4HB is the slow-carb diet.
It’s been around for quite a while, actually.4 Hour Body Diet This article is about 4 Hour Body Diet, a diet developed by Tim Ferriss, the author of “4 Hour Body”. A couple of weeks ago, I started the “Slow Carb” diet from Timothy Ferriss’ book, The 4-Hour Body. The key selling feature of the book is that the diet supposedly “hacks” the body, or more specifically, the metabolism. By following the simple rules of the diet, you can trick your body into shedding weight without any exercise. As you’ve probably noticed, the 4-Hour Body is a fork-friendly diet to say the least. Chopped or pulled BBQ with green beans is pretty easy to come by when looking for a restaurant that caters to slow-carb eating.
Other than that, your choices are pretty much limited to.5 Simple Rules for Following The 4HB Diet. It’s really quite simple, and this post is probably going to be very short. But you asked for it, so here it is. (Note: if you’d like more info than just the rules, check out my 4 Hour Body Ultimate Quickstart Guide) Rule 1: Avoid white carbohydrates.

The only advice I would never take from Tim is..
..Hair Advice. Just saying
but the make up kit for your bald head to stop it from shining at the camera is helpful tho:)
What is the name of the ingredient for good sleep at the end of the video?
If you want to see the owner of a phone I know a good site, the link is in the description of my profile
Most people are not smart enough to workout four hours per month. They would rather waste their time spending 50 hours per month in the gym, while getting less results. What could they do with that extra time in their life? Get a college degree? Make more money? Spend more time with family and friends?
Some other slow careers say brown rice is allowed. I’m confused on that
It looks like you could achieve his body in 4 hours per week without anything revolutionary. Just some plain old exercise and healthy eating. Tim is great in a few areas but I am not going to take any advice from him on the physical front.
Why are chickpeas not allowed unlimited like beans and lentils?
@ 4:35 Oz is thinking “… NOW he tells me this thing’s caked with toe jam?!”
I know it’s totally unrelated, but you’re very cute!:) Thanks for the video and sharing your experience.
A couple years ago I completed a 29 mile run without ever having run a significant distance before, and it was the worst day of my life. Good luck on the ultra, Tim
I am following this diet and have seen some good results. I have the variations from https://tinyurl.com/y94r4usr
The earth is not millions of years old God made the world about 6000 years ago.
I am a big advocate for Tim, and have been so for about 3 years now. I follow his books, podcasts, and other media.
I also have tested multiple ways of eating like counting macros/calories and keto, but never was able to stick to it or lose weight. Once I got on the slow-carb diet, I immediately realized how much simpler it is to follow than others I have tried. Although I did not get the rapid weight loss others have, I have lost a very healthy 35lb and am still losing. Not only is my weight going down but I just feel so much better. One thing I realized is that this diet really allows the “stress of eating” to be dramatically reduced. Whenever my friends ask me how I lost weight I always encourage them to look into the slow carb diet by Tim Ferris and I would recommend you to give it a shot if you are trying to lose weight!
I’ve done this diet every year since 2012 for only 3 weeks to one month at a time. It definitely works, but like the video says, “it’s extremely boring”. My weight loss, and I’m convinced that it’s primarily excess water & fat loss as I regularly use a power meter, is usually 10 pounds after week one, six pounds after week two, three pounds after week three, and a halting one pound by the fourth week where I always bail out. I usually have two spaced out cheat days, and end up shredded looking, but I just can’t stick to it beyond one month. My results usually last about 3 to 4 months as I return to all of the prohibited white carbs. If you need to drop 20-30 pounds in one month, definitely give this diet a one month commitment, and you’ll look much better (stronger), feel lighter & tighter, and you’ll be much more mentally sharp.
Tim is not a trained dietician nor has he probably ever worked a four hour week. He is instead a very determined snake oil salesman
A Quack and a Huckster……and who says daytime TV is only for toddlers…..
I love how every diet in the beginning is always easy to live by.. I’m interested so I’m watching.
He’s not my son boys and girls!
This interview is not an instructor quality interview
Although I love Wired Magazine Greg
The amount of information on the internet these days can make selfstudy nearly as valuable and sometimes more effective than paying tens of thousands of dollars for a college degree. I watched a clip the other day from The Doctors where they had Cole from Snake Diet on and the one physician arguing with him couldn’t get past his own ego and see the possibilities of something that wasn’t taught to him in med school. It’s unreal how dismissive our medical community is of information presented by people that don’t have a title after their name.
I’m not the biggest fan of Oz but I find it great that he gives a platform to guests that have done their due diligence achieved some kind of positive result through their own discovery.
“I don’t want anyone to take my word for anything.” Got it. 47:15
Surprising to see Tim Ferris talk about diet rather than entrepreneurship
Ouch, he shouldn’t have mentioned the iPhone… but an Android Phone instead… I mean, its @ google D
a bar of soap is convenient for travelling, it is in solid fodm, not liquid form, it take little space, and it last long time.
it can do the job of shapoo and bodywash or even decent shaving cream.
Uuummmm, you keep talking about calories but it states in his book hes not interested in calories. Are you meaning carbs?
I believe the only problem with the discussion about heart disease is the production of TMAO by our gut bacteria as it could have drastrically different results for a group that had been following vegetarian diet prior to tests or any other diet that had meat.
Check it out, flat 30-40% increases in heart disease probability, quite interesting.

lentils combat breast cancer more than anything else. just a side note. i can’t wait to read this book.
“by really mastering your physical self you master i think, by extension often times without even trying everything else” I definitely agree with this. Very smart man, i’m currently trying to master myself physically and I’m doing it so by using this ideology.
Wow, he went through a lot but could have saved himself soooo much time if he only followed Charles Poliquin, Louie Simmons, Fred Hatfield and Ian King’s training philosophies. Seems everyone has something to sell though. I prefer not trying to reinvent the wheel as these strength coaches I mentioned know more about conditioning athletes correctly than anyone in the world.
Do you know dr. Gundry and his book “plant paradox” where he lectures about lectins in legumes and lentils and that they are harmful because they are poisonos protection thingis which should keep humans from eating them. Also bloating is a big topic. As a vegan I like Tims suggestions, but I am a little confused now.
He was an undergrad in neuroscience, but quit because he didn’t like using animal models. Which is probably why he can read scientific literature, specifically related to biology research.
@avittix I agree with you with the image he’s presenting. I have followed him for the past three years ever since I read his four hour work week book (I know…) and he posted this experiment on his blog long ago. What he’s saying is not gaining 30lbs per month on and on, but simply reaching our genetic potential with the least amount of work and time. He didn’t come up with it. There have been such experiments done in the late seventies apparently. He simply repeated the experiment.
in the best-selling book from 2007. The 4 hour Work Week! And I ask you, have you ever met or even heard of a
person who achieved super success that followed this regimen? WTF! Anyone? And I am told that the author
works more than 4 hours a week! Are you all stupid or just utterly naive? Or as a saying that is often credited to

Dan Pena( The Trillion dollar man )The guy recommends to not drink your meals. Then he turns around and says drink a whey protein shake in the morning ..
This was really well done but NOT a summary of the 4 hour body. I was looking for help on figuring out the overall pathways the book has to offer which is why I chose this video but you’re missing everything to do with sleep, strength gain, muscle building, smart drugs, long distance running, sprinting, jumping, and more. You need to be honest about titles or people will call you on it.
This was my first podcast. 5 years later I’m in my third year of study to become an nutritional therapist and I’m forwarding myself with psychedelics. Amazing what having a good mentor does!
people will talk with you if they can obtain profit from it, anyone who colaborated in the book achieved national fame the moment that book became a best seller.
8:00 “…I will let you guys “google” that later…”
Wow! I now have so many tabs open with things to read up on.
I have a big interest in 14:45 The minimum effective dose.
See this comment from Kev3d. He is a liar for a number of reasons.
1. No one can confirm his Chinese Kickboxing “victories”, there doesn’t seem to be any record of them at all.
2. He is neither a nutritionist, nor a biologist, nor a physiologist, and it is dishonest for him to be giving instructions on bodybuilding.
3. Real diets and exercise regimens require dozens, if not hundreds, of carefully studied trials, not one man’s experience.
4. It is impossible for a regular person to gain so much muscle mass in so little of time without steroids. If it worked, every body builder in the world would have done it.
5. Deceptive before and after pictures, where he is unshaved and relatively relaxed in the before shots, and shaved and flexing in the after shot -an old trick used by bodybuilders to look more cut.
6. Ferriss’ “Brainquicken” are useless supplements.
7. Brainquicken was marketed as being used by “top athletes”, but good luck finding a list of those athletes. Real products have real users AND stand up to scientific scrutiny.
8. Ferriss sold his stake in Brainquicken because he was “bored” with it…but according to him, he wasn’t spending any more than 4 hours per week on it. So why sell something supposedly so profitable, when it takes so little of one’s time? Either he is lying about the viability of Brainquicken, or lying about the 4 hour work week.
9. Ferriss grew up in very comfortable circumstances, so the “up from nothing” narrative is nonsense.
10. Deceptive reviews on his books on amazon, with many glowing reviews from unverified purchasers, commenting on the very day of release, from people who had never left a comment before, or since.
11. Ferriss’ outsourced “digital assistants” (often from India) scour the web to leave positive feedback on forums -likely because they are paid to do so.
12. Deceptive self-promotion tactics by claiming vague things like being “an investor or adviser” to major companies like Facebook. Any dope can buy stock, which makes them an investor. One can even stand up during a stockholder’s meeting and give advice (that is to say, an opinion). That is wholly different from being on an advisory board.
It works! The only diet that helped me drop 28lbs in 2 months.
If he’s lying about that little ball making pain disappear, I’M GOING TO BE PISSED.
I read his book. Tripe. You don’t get strong, and you don’t get the look of power, in weeks, or even months. This is well illustrated by his own pics, and those of the ‘successes’ in the book. Take the long term view: if you want to get more muscular than the norm, and you don’t do drugs, think in terms of getting progressively stronger for enough reps in big basic exercises over the next few years. You can use any rational program: 5 3 1, PTTP, Reg Park’s 5 x 5, or whatever you like based on the big basic human movements that use the most muscle mass(squats, deads, cleans, snatches, presses, rows etc, everything else is just assistance) You can curl to your heart’s content after the big stuff. Eat enough to grow muscle. Tim looks smaller and weaker than normal size manual workers/athletic guys who don’t even lift.
I believe him, because you have to be strong to hold up a head that big.
Mike Mentzer would’ve seen “hope for humankind” via Tim Ferriss.
I enjoyed reading 4 hour work week, but I whole heartedly disagree with his diet recommendations, but hey every body is different. shrugs
I think you answered the question yourself: creating a business that you can live off of without hiring full-time staff (and without having to work full-time yourself) is innovative.
I’m sorry, but there is no way that Tim was doing 650 pound rack pulls WITH a double overhand/no hook grip. I’ve heard of 600 from the floor with double overhand/ no hook and that was from a guy who specialized in grip training and had tremendously strong hands. I noticed Tim doing rack pulls in a smith machine in another video so MAYBE he could 650 double overhand/no hook that way.
referencing gary taubes as a serious nutrition source
yikes
no wonder he’s a bullshit artist
He has some good advice but he is a bit inconsistent in the sense that one minute he is basing his advice on science and next minute he is saying that what works for outliers is more helpful information than what works for the majority (which is the opposite of what science research concludes). Then he cites a bunch of anecdotal evidence not backed by studies when he himself understands when he says “i am just n=1” that a few peoples’ success stories cannot be generalised to a population. People are incredibly complex and there are many many reasons why one method could be a great success for 1 person but not for everyone else. That doesn’t make that method the best method for everyone. Also, when asked about longevity he didn’t note the mass of scientific evidence indicating that a majority plant based diet works best for most people. Because he himself prefers a meaty diet. ok but!! Having said that, it is great to have a bunch of ideas thrown out there to play around with. If you aren’t feeling that you are at your peak anyway, why not try some of them out and see what results you get?
He’s legit. Good for Tim if he can make or sale some product from his extensive research. It makes sense from what I’ve read.
I do not normally comment on YT, but this is such blatant nonsense. Anyone who has been lifting for a while and knows anything about training and nutrition understands this. I am amazed that Google invited this snake oil salesman to speak.
this guy is a faker f*ckbag. cahing and the sound of his own voice seem to be his favourite sounds. PS he has a pissy body and is losing his hair…maybe do a 4 hour keep your hair. doosh!
I did the slow carb diet for 3 weeks. I felt too tired on it so I stopped but I wasn’t balancing things right. I wasn’t as strict. I even ate chocolate pudding every night, just one of those little snack pack ones. What I ate mostly was baked beans (vegetarian), eggs and vegetables, and chicken. I lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks. So had I stuck to it for 4 weeks, I would have likely hit 20 pounds of loss with no exercise just like he states. This diet does work, you just have to do it in a way to keep you energized. Going back on it again.
Hi, have you discovered Rapid Muscle Booster? (look for it on Google) You will discover the serious crimes we commit against ourselves. With Rapid Muscle Booster, you will discover how to build muscle fast.
I am using the 4-Hour Body workout right now, and it seems to be going well. At least my gf tells me that! Check out this website for some more resources: lifestylehack com
34 pounds of muscle in 28 days:D Arnold would be impressed. Sorry but this is not possible.
Tim Ferriss is in business of making $. His content is 50% advertisements and 50% mediocre value.
lmao brb sleeping 2 hrs per day. brb adding 150 lbs to bench sleeping 2 hours per day…brb also giving females 15 min orgasms while adding 150 to bench within 180 days on 2 hrs sleep.
shittiest book ever, I deeply regret I bought it, so much bullshit in it……
I have listened to the 4hr body CDs and there is a ton of great information!!! One thing I am going to try that he suggests is the PAGG stack for weight loss!! I highly suggest that anyone wanting to change their life n loose weight listen or read the 4hr body!!
Lost credibility (near 48min mark) when he references Gary Taubes as his source. That diet/carbohydrate theory has been thoroughly examined and debunked.. but I guess some myths just sound too good to let go!
Tim: Please read the many scientific/cricital reviews of ‘Good Calories Bad Calories’.. Stephan Guyenet has good references, as does John Horgan. I believe Evelyn Kocur (CarbSane) devotes an entire website to this topic..
Tim your amazing! I seriously cant get enough of his videos! so fascinating, and i love how blunt are with everything. I don’t know why sex is a sensitive subject here in america. And sex hormones determine so much quality of life
i was ok on this until 48:23 i hope he misspoke about a mom reversing type 1 diabetes in kids because reversing type 1 diabetes is impossible the pancreas is destroyed and cannot produce insulin period… type 2 diabetes is the pancreas not making enough or insulin resistance that has build aup and can be reversed… saying stuff like that is dangerous and can kill people especially kids who are affected much more quickly buy low or high blood glucose and if thier parent decides “Oh Tim Ferriss says i can reverse it” and just tries a low carb diet that can turn deadly very quickly
it’s amazing how so-called intelligent people will pretty much follow anyone…
My classmates laughed when I told them I was going to get rid of fat with “Windy Fat Loss”, but then I showed them the results. Go and google “Windy Fat Loss” to see their reaction.
I already told you. i know the bad fat is the reason that stopping 6 pack coming outside even we work out well. btw!but ye I saw an interview with body building champion where he talks about 7 odd foods he eats to keep his abs hard. have a look here bit.ly/1dRHOwu?=gbbjt
i do not think it is a scam. he is right about many things. the only problem is him claiming to gain muslce in short amount of time with minimal workout. that i do not believe. most ppl WILL gain muscle because most people do eat carbs and when you switch to a low carb and are eating high amounts of protein-it is easier for you to gain some muscle along the way.
Tim is my hero! Yet i had an issue with 4HB, honestly it was… Confusing! He said I should only read the chapter that i want to apply, so i chose addinc muscles chapter. I tried to follow yet he kept jumping back and forth without clear plan on what should i do, when, how much… And the supplement part confused me, should i eat that routine daily (even though i workout 4 hrs a week?) Or only during workout days?
Great book tho, im sure ill keep it for long long time
dos equis was wrong Tim Ferriss is the most interesting man in the world
you’re not paying attention, that’s what going on… low iq?
What a coincidence. I tried his slow-carb diet last months and lost 13.5lbs in just 25 days!
Not to mention he says himself didn’t figure this stuff on his own. He looks for trainers or people who quickly became top perfomers in what he wants to do and he learned from them.
Some healers here say that you shouldnt drink water in between meals because it thins your digestive liquids in your belly. Most people with overweight already suffer with not enough digestive acid/liquid, so drinking water in between is thining it even more. They recommend to drink lemon water 30 minutes before your meal to strengthen your acids.
lol @ 50:17 “thanks for the response.” as he leaves the room while probably muttering “eff you” under his breath. the equivalent of a heckler at Authors@Google? too funny!
Well done for selling all those books to all those vulnerable people (like myself) looks like it worked 😉
Dr oz is being smart. He’s incorporating all these very popular Internet personalities who the mainstream media largely ignore. If one them hit “mainstream” then he can produce their show and capitalize. I’m assuming that’s what he’s doing.
guy at 49:00urban Chinese men have equal heart disease to the US.
50:20 hahahaahhaa ‘thanks for the response’……. fuck this guy im out!*
Most people who are leaving negative comments are just envious because they don’t have the balls to do all that Tim has. However he has accomplished his success doesn’t matter! Keep it up Tim! I value your information:-)
Hi there, have you heard of “DotCom Success Maximizer” (just do a Google search for it…)? On their website you will find a practical free video. This person has truly enabled me to earn money on the internet. I hope it helps you as well.
Okay, what you need to do Mr. Ferris, is make some videos with the workouts and nutrition, I’m reading your book, but I’m overwhelmed, yeah, yeah, I know, told us what to read and do, but actually I tried that diet with meat and veggies and lentils, cause the other beans didn’t do me good, but then even the lentils didn’t do me good. I’m digressing, I think it would be great to show exactly what’s in the book, on a DVD, yes! Hope you consider it, liasbrooks@ gmail.com in case you need any ideas, cause I got some!!!
That’s the problem w/ society. He says look at the extremes, thats how you make radical change and progress. If we put everyone in a box, where does the creativity come from?
You’re not smart just because you’re an MD and vice versa.
Any one here read or heard concerning this unique: Growth 247 Formula? Supposedly it’s getting quite popular simply because consumers are actually growing their own height suprisely. Even my own dad grew to 6 feet just by using the treatment. Just google: Growth 247 formula to find out more.
This was fantastic. I have to say that up until I saw this, having read blog posts, seen interviews and so on, I was pretty convinced that Tim Ferriss was simply a conman, trying to sell the easy lie to people that hard work isn’t necessary if you want to achieve success. This has changed my mind; he’s intelligent, understands how scientific research works, and knows an awful lot about these topics. Also comes across as a great guy in this.
Something visual, that’s far from abysmal.
I always find this guy interesting and easy on the eye, even though I don’t agree with all of his recommendations regarding diet etc..
Keto is WAY better than this. And EVERY DAY feels like a cheat day on Keto. It’s a miracle. And I’m not taking about lazy/dirty Keto. That’s garbage. I’m taking Keto with LOTS of greens, lots of non-meat fats, and lots of high quality products (organic, grass fed, wild raised, non-gmo, etc). MIRACLE!!
too bad he’s not an M.D. or scientist by training. It would add some credibility to his work.
I surprised TIm didn’t suggested yellow pea, rice, hemp, sacha inchi or any other plant-based proteins to the woman asking about following the slow carb diet while vegan. Or even things like spirulina, hemp seeds, chlorella? =/
amazing. he’s talking all this time with out a piece of paper to guide him and he’s remebered all sorts of names, fact, and numbers. i wish he’d do a tissue sample of his brain.
Searches for Smackdown vs RAW music.
This is the only result.
Slow carb fast carb? People make up all kinds of schidt to make money off of keto
None of the people in the audience go to the Gym. So this talk is pretty much pointless to them.
Just watched an amazing Ted Talk by Tim Ferriss that I greatly urge anyone interested in taking on the challenges that often fear holds us back to undertake or often do half-assed: https://www.ted.com/talks/tim_ferriss_why_you_should_define_your_fears_instead_of_your_goals#t-308774
fitness advice of someone who trains in his grandads pants and looks like hes never trained
one thing that makes me wonder is how tim manages to get appointments and meetings with all these professors and intelligent people in their fields?
her must have some mad research and tracking skills
I searched for “Frog on his clit face” and this was the only result.
Does he mention anything about people with hypothyroitism? I have that and I am not allowed to eat sauerkraut or many other probiotical foods or too much green because that inhibit the intake of my thyroid medication. Thats totally fucked up of course considering me being vegan.
I’m sure he embellishes on some of what he claims. As far as changing your protien for breakfast to get out of this world weight loss… Who eats the same thing for breakfast everyday anyway? So what really is a dramatic change if it’s never the same?
Hello. I am looking for people who did the injury preparation part of the book and can give me tips. I have back problems.
Isn’t this basically another low carb diet? Not saying it doesn’t work but not really a novel idea.
Irrelevant nitpick here, but water doesnt change temperature while undergoing a phase change. At 1 atm psi it boils at 100C and adding more heat will cause it to boil faster but not get hotter.
And here I’m doing keto and haven’t lost anything in a month (after great success the first 3 months). Can’t imagine eating MORE will help me.
As someone who has done a low carb / keto diet successfully in the past, I’m not really sold on the “go crazy” day, but I’m willing to give it shot. You mentioned the cravings, but I think once you’ve committed to kicking the sugar to the curb your body eventually stops craving it. This is essentially low-carb with a cheat day built in. It makes you feel good that you haven’t “broken” your diet because you can say you didn’t fail at keto.
Also, even though its a cheat day, most of that food is still not good for your body. This may help when others around you aren’t completely sold on low-carb, but may be willing to go the slow-carb route. That’s my current predicament. I have the will power to cut the carbs. I know it works. My girlfriend, however, does not.
I’ve done this plan every fall since 2011, but could only stick to it for 3-4 weeks at a time. It works, but is very boring. Usually, my results on it look like a declining slope: weeks 1: 10 pounds, 2: 6 pounds, week 3: 2-3 pounds, and I usually bail out on week four. So, 18-20 pounds in 3 weeks is typical for me. Also, I usually incorporated two cheat days throughout the week, but I always workout 4-5 days per week (weights & cycling).
Really good content, but not agree at all for fruits, which is the most important value for energy and detoxify your body; Don’t forget that fat loss is purely and simply… detoxing. Fat is where your toxines are stored into your body
I initially lost 60 lbs, held it for 3-4 years than took a binge year, gained back 30, now back on 4hb mixing in high fat, less beans, less meat,n doing intermittent fasting 16 hour windows with quarterly 72 hour fasts My results are great, back to 60 lbs off n cured type 2, and also replaced squats with short walks to avoid hip pain. I do have to get back to timed cheat days because im cheating unplanned anyway so than its harder to get back on track because u want to succumv to cravings. Anyways 4hb works, i tweaked it to cure my typ2d by adding fasting n fat n it works for me, good luck all.
The Chinese traditionally eat more green leafy veg than rice anyway, I would look at it as primarily veg, then rice, then meat and fish. Fish may well be second on that list. Also, obesity is a huge problem in china today. Not to mention, the poverty in china pre 1990s lead to people who were thinner despite what their diet was.
Is Dr. Oz taller than average or is Tim Ferris shorter than average?
Wait… 4 hours a month? So like half an hour twice a week and that will work? Like yeah maybe you will progress, but not as fast as with a more intense regular workout like say a basic 3 days a week fullbody workout containing squat, deadlift, row, bench, military press just switching between two variations of those exercises every workout adding 5-10 lbs to the smaller lifts and 10-20 lbs on the bigger lifts every time you do the same exercise. Just try this workout, 3 sets of five on every workout to working up to 3 sets of 12 after every cycle of 3 weeks. Do this cycle of adding weights and working up to 10 reps twice and see how much you’ve grown stronger (much faster then that workout program). Or if you dont want to put the effort into it, just stay at that 4 hours schedule.
The camera movement and music is so obnoxious. I want to listen to the man speak and not be distracted jfc
whey protein shoots insulin sky high. I prefer casein protein powder as it is does not affect insulin as much, keeps one full for longer.
Interesting observation, when Tim is on his youtube channels talking diets he gets 250,000 plus views, this TV show has less than a third of that number…is TV finally dying in favour or the internet? Personally I hope so.
This guy focuses on results, but I miss the spiritual side, the essence of the human being. He basically talks about how to be succesful, but I’m more into how to be in peace with oneself and his/her enviroment.
It’s dangerous to limit yourself to a liquid diet. There are digestive processes in your body that are there to grind/break down solids, and if they are not used they will stop functioning. Not a good day.
Dearest Tim,
I have recently started the slow-carb project for the 2nd time. The first time I tried I got frustrated because of conflicting information, and I am about to hit that point again.
I have not eaten red meat ever in my life and don’t plan to anytime soon. I mostly live on water animals. I’ve seen it written that you say to keep Omega-3s to a minimum. I think it was twice a week.
I can eat fowl occasionally, but not for every meal. It’s just too much for me.
So, I’m left with eggs. To get enough protein I am eating the whole egg, which I don’t have a problem with (not concerned about cholesterol, mine has always been good), but I don’t know if that counters the effects of slow-carb and that’s why it’s suggested to add 1 yolk (for flavor) to a multiple whites recipe.
I eat a lot of seeds and a healthy portion of nuts as a rule, but those apparently need to be greatly monitored.
Somewhere I read about cottage cheese being all right, but thought all dairy was out on the 6 days repetitions.
I need to hear it from the horse’s mouth, and not all of these varied sources.
I am committed to doing this and getting results.
Help please!
I’m going to discover ways to get laid. My friend has begun dating a ten mainly because 60 days ago he signed up to an internet site named Master Attraction (Google it if you wish to know more.) I’m green with envy since I would like to fall madly in love as well. How come it’s so hard? I’m going to have a look at this Jake Ayres guy’s information. Odd point is, my friend previously had no joy with girls. How do you improve that rapidly? His lady’s like a model!
Wait so can slow carb gain weight and loose fat at the same time?
“The problem with most plans is they tell you what to do”
“What I like to do is come up with plans and tell you ‘here’s what you have to do'”
Only healthy people are allowed to donate blood and healthy people live longer.
This was great, thanks, I’ve been looking for “low carb diet how long to see results” for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across Ronaliana Future Falbala (should be on google have a look )? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my m8 got excellent success with it.
Eu adoro esse médico, já vi várias vezes, mais agora, não dá pra ver porque só não entendo nada q não _Seja o português. Kkk
