BBG stands for Bikini Body Guide, which is the original training program Tobi and I created in 2014. The original guide was a 12-week workout program, however, BBG has grown and grown! There are now more than 88 weeks of my workouts available. You can head to my blog, What Is BBG, if you want to know more about the BBG program and what it includes.
What are BBG workouts? BBG workouts are 28-minute resistance sessions that use bodyweight exercises, plyometrics (jump training) and strength-building exercises, in two high-intensity circuits. The circuits are seven minutes long and feature three or four exercises. The goal is to complete as many rounds of the exercises as you can in seven minutes!

It definently is for beginners if you start at week one and dont use heavy weights. If you are going to try these workouts, starting at week one isnt the logical thing to do as you are fit. Bbg does have progressive overload throughout and adding more weights and getting faster contributes so its not just for beginners.
HAHAHAHA have a community… Me alone in the gym (or at the momant at home (corona)), is there a place you can be in a fitness comunity (an app or something like that) because I am really into fitness but I have no friends…

The adapted the beginner weeks now. Way more easy, but when the 8 beginner weeks are done and you start with BBG 1.0, you’re gonna be sore again like in the first week.
So I think if I’m through this first week, I’m gonna be fine.

It looks like you did it just for two days.
If you would have search the app you would have seen that they are several levels and also different practices we can either use it at home or the gym actually and also skip some weeks and go to more difficult programs, I believe that it’s pretty cheap for it’s worth and if ones intention is to work out around the year The offer that she has is fantastic because it’s 50% off.
you can also hit the gym while using it. Which I find great because you have a set program with more advanced machines in your hands.
The only thing that I would like her to do is some more introductory videos as how to better use the app altogether and also to make meals with less expensive Materials or not so exotic since let’s say I live in Greece and it’s not easy for me to find all the ingredients.
But apart from that I think it’s a fantastic job, you can switch programs you can do extra there’s a community if you like to (not my thing) and also if you get bored You can switch to 3 programs at home and 4 more for the gym.
This is the third year of been doing Sweat (although for a few months at a time ) and this time I have done different programs than the last one and I find it great because it’s adapting to my needs.
Since you inform people and you have a big impact please do better research on your next video which I will be happy to watch.

Love your videos and your overall energy! How about a video where you try a bunch of different at home workouts and rate them (going beyond just the BBG program)? I would love to join a gym but with a full-time job and a baby I don’t have a lot of flexibility. I mean who wants to work out at 9pm? Well not me anyway. Pretty much workout time is in my living room when little man takes a nap.

I will say, I am an avid exerciser. I work out about 6x a week. I’ve done a whole shebang of different stuff. I actually really like the BBG stronger program. It was focused and quick, which fits my lifestyle of working like 60 hrs a week. And I often would make the workouts more challenging with heavier weights or adding jumping or something like that. It’s a good guide for when you want to keep variability with some weight and hiit combo stuff. AND I still have freedom in the week to go for a run, or do yoga, or a more CrossFit workout, you know, whatever. ♀️

somebody knows why she repeats one circuit 4 times? I understand that you should do 2 times each circuit of 7 minutes. first circuit one and rest then circuit 2 and rest twice both… it´s correct?

I tried this out two years ago. When I tried it I was already skinny. So I wanted to try it out because I wanted to go to beach that summer. Umm… I didn’t really see the change on my body for two months but it was a good workout. I always thought I was dying then on my third month I felt a lot healthier and toned.. but I had to come out with my own workout routine because it became too boring. I used sweet app as a beginner’s tool. I didn’t see a half of workout routines that had fit me later on. So I stopped my subscription. But if you don’t know what you are doing, you can definitely start it with it. But… There are more things available on YouTube now.
you think it is just for beginners because you did the first weeks, the better you get the more exercises you do in 7 min plus it gets more complicated. Also, stronger is more advanced. I did it for 3 years straight and i know what i’m saying. it is not begginer only.

Day 1 was the most hardness but day 2 it wasn’t too complicated, keep going! We CAN DO IT! this workout, diet and a great music YOU CAN DO ANYTHING! 😉
She’s perfect the way she is. Just jog a few days a week, then do this twice a week to tone. Life is too short. Also, she’s going to need those knees she’s destroying.

hi, my abdominal muscles are in pain after 2nd day workout….what should i do now?? i am unable to do 3rd day………how to get rid of muscles soreness??
I admire you but i can’t do it it will not last. i think for lazy people the ideal is 20 min to take one day after one day off maybe, it’s look impossiable
I’m really grateful that you have filmed yourself coz it’s so much easier to watch a video and workout, instead of always checking pictures and measuring time. But I can’t help but notice that you are doing many exercises wrong:
1. squats your knees shouldn’t go over toes and your upper torso is leaning forward instead of being held up
2. walking lunges front knee shouldn’t go over the ankle
3. burpees you arch your back instead of going into a plank, you also never stand back up and jump into the air, reaching your arms straight overhead. This way you are not getting full range of motion.
4. Sit ups as the time goes by you are hurrying it up and also not doing full range motion.
5. Push ups you bulge your buttocks when going up, your neck, spine and thighs should all be in one line.
* Also it says “20 weighted step ups” when it should be 30, 15 per leg.
It should always be quality over quantity!

Hi guys, I am not fit enough to finish a whole one of these workouts, so for anyone thinking the same:
I do 15 min of it (1/2) daily.
6 days a week I workout for 15 minutes (1/2 of these videos daily).
Basically, this is exactly how I did it:
Monday: Rest day
Tuesday: Week 1 Day 1 1st 1/2
Wednesday: Week 1 Day 2 1st 1/2
Thursday: Week 1 Day 3 1st 1/2
Friday: Week 1 Day 1 2nd 1/2
Saturday: Week 1 Day 2 2nd 1/2
Sunday: Week 1 Day 3 2nd 1/2

Nice working out with you but your burpees are wrong. You need to go all the way down in a push up.

I saw your videos. Congratulations but more atention because you are doing wrong push up and squats!
so with these workouts such as above you only do them 3 times a week (only 28 mins for a day), such as day 1 is Monday, day 2 is Wednesday and day 3 is Friday! In the guide she says you do 2x 40 min LISS (Low Intensity) workouts in a week too. Such as walking or bike riding that are able to be done at a low constant steady rate (approx. speed 6.5 kph). I usually do the LISS workouts in-between the other workouts so Tuesday & Thursday:) I hope the helps those of you who are confused:) x

the lay down push ups are wrong and the tricep dips. generally you do the sets very quick thus not doing them correctly. 7 minutes is enough time to give time and effort into these workout sets. and more importantly thats how you avoid injuries
I did BBG about 4 years ago when it was still an ebook! I loved it at first and honestly gave me what I though was the best body of my life. I was following the meal plan too they had at the time (not sure if it’s still around?), but I was definitely under eating and became obsessed over numbers and macros. I’m glad I stopped before I got too deep into it because it wasn’t good for my mental health

I would recommend trying a more intense week (every week ups the intensity) or Kelsey Wells program! They are very intense workouts and there are SO many options.
