I have seen some places making cloth masks to go over N95s to increase how long each N95 can be used. There are lots of bored people at home and some of them know how to sew.
Is there a certain material that is good? Do you want cloth gowns as well? What other items? Do you have patterns?
Additionally – I’m a scuba diver. message me and I’ll give you my phone number if you are interested in scuba gear adaptation. I can offer you a way to have full face protection and an air source that is completely isolated- negating the need for an n95. You don’t need the entire scuba kit. It’s expensive but it is 100% reusable and easy to quickly decontaminate and turn over for use again. If you have a ward set up where multiple patients are in one room- this design allows one person to stay in the room and monitor and adjust medical equipment.
I also have a full face snorkel adaptation which moves your air intake back and above your face which can be used with surgical masks if n95s are completely gone.
