If you have pain on the side of the foot, whether on the inside or outside, one of the causes can be tendinitis (nflammation of a tendon) or a stress fracture. These conditions are usually the result of overuse (such as increasing your mileage too quickly) or improper running shoes. If you’re dealing with significant pain, you may need to be put in a walking boot and take a few weeks off from running. Another possible cause of pain on the side of your foot is a stress fracture. Side of foot pain from stress fractures usually starts off mild and gradually gets much worse.
An overuse injury, plantar fasciitis can be caused by a biomechanical issue, improper running shoes, increasing training volume or intensity too quickly, or even from tight or weak calf muscles—the body is an interconnected machine, after all.Common foot pain after running Stress fractures are a bone concern or crack that can be present in any of the many bones comprising the foot, however fractures happen.Foot pain, or any sort of foot discomfort, you may feel after a run can mean all types of things.
Below, we’ll talk in detail about why you might feel discomfort or foot pain after you finish running and what you can do to rectify your dilemma. The impact of jogging can cause a stress fracture to develop in the foot, most frequently in a metatarsal bone, one of the long bones that join with the toes. Over time the pain will become more pronounced, and the foot may appear swollen and bruised. See All About Stress Fractures.
Pressing down on the top of the affected foot may cause severe pain.People who have fallen arches (flat feet) or very high arches are more prone to heel pain after running since these foot shapes may put excess strain on the plantar fascia. The plantar fascia is.Lateral foot pain happens on the outer edges of your feet. It can make standing, walking, or running painful.
Several things can cause lateral foot pain, from exercising too much to birth defects.Metatarsalgia is a condition used to describe a painful foot condition in the area just before the toes, or the ball-of-the-foot. It is called metatarsalgia because the bones in this region of the foot are named the metatarsals. According to the Sports Injury Clinic website, numerous factors may contribute to outer foot pain in runners, including running shoes, overtraining, an insufficient warm-up and poor nutrition.Metatarsalgia Affects the Ball of the Foot In metatarsalgia, the ball of the foot becomes inflamed and causes pain through the toes. This is usually a result of poor running form, wearing shoes that are too tight, or engaging in a sport that involves running and jumping. Cheers for the Video! Sorry for chiming in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you thought about Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a good one of a kind product for Relieving foot pain without the hard work. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my work buddy at last got amazing success with it.
Nice Video clip! Apologies for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you thought about Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (do a google search)? It is a great one of a kind guide for Relieving foot pain minus the normal expense. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my good mate called Gray got great results with it.
Mine is in the middle of my foot..I’m in my feet 12 to 18 hours a day..they put me on steroids and some meds.. which I will only take when it’s so bad that I can’t handle it..I use to have really high arches but with the swelling you can’t tell..when i first wake up and after I been on my feet for 9 hours it starts back up… I tried all different kinds of shoes.. nothing..I’ve tried foot inserts nothing,.. only time the pain kind of stops is when I don’t have shoes on.. I can’t take work off..and I don’t want to be on meds all my life..I also don’t want needles in my foot… It gets so bad that at times I’m in tears… I hate it..I’ve only had this problem for about 8 months and it seem like it happened over night…
I went to a trampoline park. I jumped in a weird way. Now I have plantar fasciitis
I had this for a bit and started to stretch it it finally went away but then I jumped and got it again this sucks
here’s a few suggestions worth trying
Test out one of the natural remedies for plantar foot. Something as simple as ginger root, which can be bought at your local grocery shop, is a good anti-inflammatory. Ginger root is in a group of plants known as Cox inhibitors. This means they prevent inflammation naturally.
Another good remedy for pain is Bromelain. Bromelain is an enzyme found in pineapples. If you drink the raw juice or eat raw pineapple, you can gt advantage from the properties of Bromelain. This is natural healing at its very best.
(I read these and more tips from fergs foot formula site )
You are a freaking genius! Many specialists and no one could explain or solve my chronic PF -I think you just might have. THANK YOU!
Too much growling and mumbling among commentators here. Listen to what The man says and repeat if in doubt. Be interested In how your body works, and not just quick fixes, because there are none.
Fuck this. I can only walk for a mile before I feel the pain, cant even do cardio n stuff. It hurts randomly in the morning as well even when Im sitting, its like I can feel a lot of pressure there.
This video was a great help. I deal with the plantar fasciitis for about ten years already, with days in more pain then others, depending on the level of running/walking/standing of that day. I also have flat feet, which doesn’t help. But no physician paid attention to me calves length, which I’ll start improve cause I can really see, they are much stiffer then used to be when I was much younger. As natural bodybuilder I paid lot of attention to muscle growth, but not enough to stretching and mobility. A mistake I won’t make again, especially now, after 40. Thank you, Jeff.
hey,if anyone else trying to find out how to cure foot pain try Knewreck Foot Treater Guide (just google it )? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my work buddy got great results with it.
I get this really sharp pain in right under the ball off my foot and sometimes it gets triggered when I move my big toe down how do I fix this
My pain is on the outside near the heal (on the side of the small toe)
It only hurts when i put weight on it such as walking and has been painful for 2 days now after a 15km jog, causing me to limp slightly. Is this what my pain is?
wow! thanks a bunch! I started working at Fedex in warehouse and going up and down stairs for 4-5 hours a day my calves are so tight. Great help and info. Thanks again!
I always learn something more from your vids and I’ve been an ACE certified trainer for nearly 15 years. Thanks, Jeff!
Ice worked for me to alleviate the pain and swelling in the arch
I am trying to figure out if what I have is Plantar fasciitis. From what I understand that it is basically An inflammation of a thick band of tissue that connects the heel bone to the toes. However, I dont have the symptoms of pain when I first wake up in the morning. In fact I dont have pain in my heel. The discomfort I have is under the arch in between the arch and heel. I tend to feel this when: I extend my legs while sitting( I feel sort of a “pinch” in that one spot), or if I were to walk and “clinch or curl my toes’ I feel the a similar pinch but along the bottom of my whole foot. Now in terms of pain, this does not hurt. However, if I do jumping jacks I might feel a sharp pain. So, I am trying to figure out what I can do to heal this. I have been trying all types of plantar fasciitis exercises/ stretches but wondering if it is something else.
am i the only one that thinks every pair of shoes i have ever purchased pushes my foot into the “flexible” position, could it be that sports shoes need a change?
I just gave these stretches a go. Wow. My calves are tight. Shifting the forward foot across made a huge difference. My doctor says I have Hunglands heel and recommended calf stretches and strengthening. Going to start doing this daily. I can tell it is going to make a world of difference. Keep up the great work, sir.
my foot hurts because i felt down and it twist my friends hardcore laugh
I tried using a giant vice grip to put extreme compression on my heel. Really helps squeeze the fascia out. Gets so tight.
my foot pain is a nightmare…im 27 years old. i got a baby. i study engineering….i used to play basketball at highscholl..now. the last two years i got pain that disturb my day. i cant wear every shoe. i xant stand a lot of time. it is also puting down some issues on my mode…ill try that and come back with the results. i hope this will help. doctors told i got the plantar…high inflammation of the foot. i need an immediat relief too if there is any. i read about ice therapy and balling massage. massaging the area while streching it…if anyone can advise. ill be thankfull…really.
[email protected] gmail.com.
thank you guys and for the video!
this pain is a nightmare! it hurts my daily function.
I am 13 and I’ve been dancing everyday and my foot has been hurting like just below my ankle and now to the back of my foot (above the heel)
Years and years of error and trial and now he has perfected the anatomy and function of a complete athlete. Thanks brotha
WOW!! My health service gave the exercises you showed EXCEPT for crossing the unaffected leg in front of the bad one when doing the stretches against the wall. What a complete difference, thanks very much.
I’m going to try this thank you wish I would have tried this before paying almost 1000 on a damn foot mri
Great video. This is why I adjust my patient’s feet. I will be sharing this content with my following.
I’ve been doing a lot of injury prevention exercises but have been forgetting about toe scrunches and feet exercises, thanks for the reminder!
I destroyed my both heels one vacation in Croatia by wearing cheap last-minute bought sandals. I started to wear basketball shoes, in like one year it was gone. I actualy just remembered while watching this video.
I think thst is what I have, but one moe thing that I’m having recently is very sharp pain when I lift my foot up (even just fir taking a step), I feel much better when I standing on my feets.
Anyone else have the same thing?
And mine is towards the toes, 1st third part of the foot below where the toes connect and in the center of the foot. The tape they use in this videos the center orange stripe goes right over where I get it. Mine definitely related to LONG hours of sitting for job, 14hrs of sitting.(of course breaks allowed so at times I do get up and walk around, use the bathroom, etc) It’s pain to walk on of course. My? Is sometime it feels like there is something under the skin but there isn’t, NO swelling or anything. Does anyone else’s feel like they are walking on their foot with something (a small marble like, not sharp like a jagged rock) under the skin??? It comes and goes but def associated with long sitting. Gonna try stretching my foot more because it can really get sore. I seem to remember this also happening when I used to be a jogger. Also, it doesn’t give me any pain if i am off my feet, hence I can come home and sleep with no problem. Not till I walk then ouch.
There are a few ideas for plantar foot treatments
Make sure you rest your feet
Consider Wearing supportive footwear
Use ice on your heel
Take ibuprofen or another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug to lessen pain and inflammation
try night splints
Try stretching and strengthening exercises.
(I learned these and why they work from Rohon Foot Care site )
I have pain on the side of my left foot. There’s no bruising and swelling but when I press on the bone, it’s quite painful. I didn’t fall or drop something on my foot so I’m really not sure what is causing the pain. It’s sore when I lift my foot but on top of the foot not on the bottom but I can place weight on it when standing.
Was in the military and eventually it got so bad I now have intense pain everyday for 20 years. My ankle will roll to the outside when I’m tired and cause me to fall. I left law enforcement because of the pain. VA and military had no clue. Thank you.
I was playing football(soccer) and I kicked someone’s knee quite hard. On my right foot, the right side of the middle of my foot is in pain. When I stand up it hurts and when I run and jump.
Thank you! I wasn’t sure my pain was plantar fasciitis but now I’m sure it is. It’s only in my left foot though. My right foot though feels like a nerve is pinched there on my upper side. Sometimes it hurts but most of the times it doesn’t but just feels weird like that weird feeling when electricity is passing through with each step I take. It only happens with my shoe on though. I might have to see a doctor about that. I’ve been having it for a while. Anyway, I’ll be sure to do those 3 stretches you’ve told about.
do you guys have an affiliate link? I will promote for free but have to check after all I have learned
Jeff any advice on achillies problems? Im suprised u havnt done a vid on this
I’m glad I’ve never had to deal with this. I had ITBS but that was pretty simple to fix
Well F me, that fixed it! Thanks a bunch man! Holy hell you are doing such a great service to us all!
I have pain on my right big toe when I bend it down. Doctor said it’s probably due to my old shoes. So I bought new shoes, but still have toe and pain under the foot after working couple of hours.
I’ve been researching into plantar foot and discovered a great website at Rohon Foot Care (check it out on google)
I have a question. My foot pain hurts exactly where you said it was likely to occur (at 1:58). However, I have no issues stretching my toe all the way backwards. Does this mean my heel pain is NOT plantar fasciitis? I still have the symptoms you describe but I want to make sure I’m not mistaking plantar fasciitis for something else.
There are a few factors in plantar foot treatment. One place I found which succeeds in merging these is the Plantar premium plan (check it out on google) without a doubt the most helpful resource that I’ve seen.Check out all the awesome info.
great timing been struggling with plantar fasciitis last month or so
OMG. YOU ARE AMAZING. no one told me about these other stretches for my plantar fasciitis. Thank you!
It really helped me a lot.. i have center foot pain as i woke up in the morning.. it suffers me the whole day.. and then I’ve seen this video.. and it give the the relief as i followed the video.. thank you so much
After doing these excises for one day, my foot feels much better. I have been thinking that I needed arc support
Business partner:) Just say “my girlfriend” 😉 It’s more you!
No hablo inglés, lo q quiero es q este video lo traduzcas al español para poder tomar tus recomendaciones, siempre veo sus videos.. Gracias.
I’ve had it for years but it won’t go away. What can I do to cure it?
Kudos for the Video clip! Sorry for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you considered Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (google it)? It is a good exclusive guide for Relieving foot pain minus the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate at last got great success with it.
I have had bilateral full quadricep tendon repair I’ve also have had bilateral Achilles tendon tears and repaired right now I am recovering from my second Achilles repair one on my right this one was on my left and your videos on how to help that problem by supporting exercises and walking from heel to the outside to the ball of your foot as help me with my flat feet and help me with my pain I have no pain in my my flat foot and 3 months which is the last first time I saw this video.. I awe you a Ton love the Indepth videos w live human examples on how to stretch
i played football like 2 weeks everyday for 4 hours and i made a pause of 4-5 days. I started playing again 2 days ago and when I accelerate, when I try running, my foot hurts, idk why. Any ideas?
Thank you for making this video!!! Definitely made a difference for me. No more Strassburg sock yeah!!!
I was in SO MUCH PAIN! Did the stretches and so much relief I will be doing these daily!
If it’s not working, go back and watch and make sure you’re doing it correctly. I was extending my leg the wrong way( across my body, but stepping down) Once, i did it correctly, I felt my calf loosen up. Then it felt weird because it was only on one side. I did the other side and that side loosened too. I will be doing these everyday. Thanks so much for sharing! I have been in increasing pain for over 2 years.
Thanks for the Video clip! Forgive me for the intrusion, I am interested in your opinion. Have you considered Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (search on google)? It is a smashing exclusive product for Relieving foot pain minus the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my m8 at last got cool results with it.
http://www.runningwritings.com/p/the-injury-series.html?m=1 this blog is an excellent source of information if you want to know about common injuries. It is pretty dense reading though and if you’re on mobile you’ll have to switch to desktop mode for it to work
The calf feels like its stretching and the foot pain is underneath the heel very dull…. Still the same pain…
Now, I’m not really a big foot person so I don’t really know what anything is called. But in between the left side of my heel and left side of my ankle hurts really badly. Again, I’m not sure what it’s called and not sure what it is. Anyone understand me or know what’s wrong?
hi everyone,if anyone else is searching for plantar fasciitis symptoms try Bablim Plantar Remedy Booster (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now )? Ive heard some great things about it and my cousin got amazing results with it.
All this + Magnesium, helps a lot with the tight muscles (tight calfs/claves)!!!
How long should I be holding these stretches for? You don’t seem to mention if I should be holding this or just moving back and forth.
Cheers for the advice it makes a lot of sense!
8:12 Wow. I felt it immediately. Awesome! I really needed this solution. Maybe now I might not need to get steroid injections in my foot from my Podiatrist. Thanks.
I don’t have this, I guess, but maybe I had before? I had pain there when I was a kid, now I am 25.
I used to play soccer a lot when I was a kid, but now as I don’t hang with a lot of kids after or at school I didn’t, I don’t know if playing soccer could have something to do with it, but I haven’t played a lot of soccer in years. but now I do mountainbiking as often as I can.
but I used to get horrible pain if I walked for a a while, when I was a boy, I also had pain when later too, butt I and no longer have pain there, but it was only after walking few hundred meters. I am not sure why it happen. Ibut later I could walk and get cramps and pain in the middle of the arch, but also misalignment, usually when walking longer distances.
I still struggle with walking for long distances, my feet used to cramp up, but my feet misaligned a lot, I think it might have been why I got pain in the mid foot area too before.
which rarely happens now, but after the most recent bicycle ride I did get cramps but I haven’t had that is so long I can’t even remember how long.
but I rarely walk now unless I have to, I now have a proper mountainbike so I am ready ro ride everywhere I need to, even in winter, studded tyres, so I don’t do much walking unless I need to cus I can’t ride somewhere, but walking is much better now than it was, maybe cus I built up strength in my feet. but I still walking for steep trails will be painful sometimes but that’s normal I guess, but no longer have that pain in the mid arch area.
Thank you for this. I’ve been having pain for a while. The hardest thing is trying to figure out if it’s gout or plantar fasciitis. I drink the tart cherry juice, but it didn’t get better, so that’s another thing that makes me wonder if it’s PF. I do exactly as you explained, hurt when I get up, mash on heel and it hurts. Haven’t tried the other, but will, and I have an idea it will hurt. After I walk awhile, I do feel better and the pain goes away, but if I sit, I start hurting again when I stand up and start walking again. Before the pain went to the heel, it first was under my bigger area of the foot. Not in the arch, but the other area (ball?). It hurt when I walked at that place. But, then it moved and no longer hurts there anymore and moved to the heel and my heel still hurts. So, can PF pain do that, move from one part of under your foot to the heel? I also have other physical neurological problems Ive had for years (leg weakness, a lot of stuff) and now I’m getting a lot of stiffness in my legs. So, I’m walking with two problems.
Best explanation EVER!!!! Finally someone that can explain what is going on!! I’ve been in pain for so long and tried every exercise i could find on internet… iit’s midnight and i’m starting right now!!!!
fungus toe, poopy toe, diseased from dog and fungus from said dog’s poop.
My pain is below my ankle. I got X rays and the doctor said there’s a lot of inflammation and that i had sprained it. All i got was two weeks off to ice it twice a day and do foot exercises (I have no medical coverage) and told to return to work. And yet i still have the same pain!
My foot just gives me extreme pain and I have to quickly massage it
Glad I watched this before seeing a doctor, which I may still do but at least I know something about the problem thanks to your video!
Having joint pain feels like the top of my foot wants to crack but it’s locked any suggestions I had a ligamentous injury a month ago pain popped back up today
I’m quit stunned how you broke this down where everyone else is taking about ball rolling. Makes so much sense. I’m a cyclist and I could not understand how I got PF. Now I know. I have never stretched my calves in 4 years. Tight af. Thanks a bunch
After a ton of money through shots and insoles and still in pain. I looked to youtube for answers and I am glad I found you. I have been almost a year without heel pain. Who would have thought a simple stretch would help like that. I was told that i may have to get surgery. I am glad i didnt have to go through that. Thank you so much!!
Actually…that is a liver problem.
#AndreasMoritz is THE MAN!
My both feet hurt but in the front Part not near the hall. I can’t sleep due to pain it’s 24/7 sometimes, but usually hurts in the night. My skin also burns, slight touch to my skin and it burns and hurts. I can’t even use my bedsheet, I keep my legs floating in the air. Walking is problem too. I visited 2 orthopedics and they both ruled out Plantar fasciitis, but 1 of them had diagnosed b12 low 181 and high sugar 108. But now both are in normal, b12 is 906 and sugar is 91. Please help me with what you think it can be. Also it feels like someone is putting needles and pins in my feet, the skin on top side of my foot also burns and hurts alot. Including my toes top and bottom side. Plus I am not a sports person at all.
https://youtu.be/Jp2A1as8M5A you should do this exercises.they are really great
God bless u! I finally found my answer!! I have this PF since last summer and the pain is really bad!! I just did the stretch and feel much better! Ur info are excellent! I will continue the stretch everyday and will post my result!! Thank u a world!
Ik you are already rich but hopefully you get very very rich because you deserve it and I love your videos man. You deserve the best Mr. Jeff
I have hill pain in both leg from 1 yer and I take doctor consult, but don’t relief hill pain till now, what I do sir?
I have random pain on the side of my foot and it only really happens at night when I’m not moving, it is really hard to sleep when this happens. It sends shocks to my body and to make it go away my natural instincts are to clench my toes. Anyone know how to cure this or why it is happening I would really appreciate it.
my middle part of my left foot hurt top and bottom…all on the side all the way up to my fat pinky toe and the ring toe…now my other foot is acting up…
The entire bottom of my foot hurts, no particular spot. Painful to walk and even when I’m off my feet, they throb like my entire foot has a heart beat. Top of the joints in my toes you can’t even touch, i jump in pain. Toes hurt to bend. Both feet feel this way.
wow never thought it could be a tight calf issue. Honestly, after all these useless fasciitis massages, I ‘m so glad I found this video!
OOWWWWWW I think I’m dying it’s been hurting so bad it’s been affecting swimming practice and at this point my foot hurts all the time, aching and everything I found the nerve area where it hurts and I literally don’t OMG OWWWW sorry it hurts
I started watching this video with some skepticism, but after a week of stretching, I have no more pain when I wake up in the morning…(insert church miracle chorus)
I had spent several thousands for the last couple years between echos, physiologist (painful RSWT), doctors and podologist (for insoles) due to the sharp pains that I was getting in both my feet which prevented me from doing normal things, such as plain walking. As a normal person would think, they all treated the feet where it hurts. I was looking around trying to find a solution before having to go for the cortisone (I think?) injections and/or surgery. Not really afraid of the needles and stuff but I thought there has to be a better way before butchering my feet like that, and frankly there is Mr Jeff Cavaliere. So I have no other things to say other than THANK YOU with all my heart (and feet i guess).
Kudos for the Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your thoughts. Have you heard about Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (should be on google have a look)? It is a good one off guide for Relieving foot pain without the normal expense. Ive heard some decent things about it and my good mate called Gray got cool results with it
My heel or heels had been hurting until I got my Reeboks…?
I am a farmer/rancher and I must say that your videos have given me relief from back pain caused from bouncing around on the tractor and from wearing rubber boots all winter long. Thank you
That red area is where my right foot was fractured in a hit and run accident.
Even after 3 years foot has not become rigid it is flexible and due to which I can feel pain on the right side of body from foot to neck.
Doctors have no answers according to them everything is ok.
Well I am thinking about trying Homeopathic medicine. I don’t know what to expect.
Unbelievable. Today I called in to work at my job as a Auto Technician because for the past 72 hours I could hardly walk because it was so painful at the sole of my feet. 10 mins doing this stretch and I no longer feel any pain. NONE. It works folks.
on the oter side of foot by hell and under foot in my case, had cortizone shots in few spots of heel and under and I’m still in pain, looks like cortizone did’t help at all, thinking about MRI or CT scan, had only X-ray only and spur and plantar was my problem. After 3 months starting physio for new treatments, also I did put insolts inside my runners and I am using now hot towel too keep my foot warm and some streatching, nothing working so far
Alright so I am a round child not pre-teen yet but on my right foot in the middle from front to back but on the left side hurts so much I think it feels like my muscles are contracting but it see at least 8-10 bumps equal top and bottom but it hurts so bad
It might be called my right foot silicone but I am not the man who is interested in feet
There are a few factors in plantar foot treatment. One plan I discovered that successfully combines these is the Plantar Premium Plan (google it if you’re interested) without a doubt the best resource i’ve seen.look at the interesting information.

You said that too much minimalistic/barefoot running could cause this type of injury. But how about a moderate amount of minimalistic running mixed in your training, which would (in my logic) train your foot muscles and therefore prevent the injury? What do you thing about that?
There are a few ideas you can tryTry a natural remedies for plantar foot. Something as simple as ginger root, which can be found at your local grocery shop, is a good anti-inflammatory. Unbelievable. Early onset of PF, and did these exercises yesterday. Pain gone…genuinely. Nothing there. Not going to assume it’s cured, I will continue, but totally amazed.
the big toe theory doesn’t work on mine. they both bend back a long way. the sorest bends back the most, but the Achilles and calf is tighter on my sorest foot.
Well my foot thumb is slightly on the right/left. Almost like bunions but I don’t have pain walking.
Appreciate video content! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your opinion. Have you researched Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (just google it)? It is an awesome exclusive guide for Relieving foot pain minus the normal expense. Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my close friend Aubrey at last got astronomical results with it.
What the what??? I have been limping for 2 weeks, unable to put weight on my left heel. I’ve done all the normal stretches and iced my foot to no avail. Did 3-4 rounds of your stretches yesterday, felt immediate temporary relief, and woke up today with 70% less pain. Cant wait to see how I feel in another week. Thank you!
I hate being poor and not being able to afford going to a doctor, it’s been a little over a year that an idiot pushed me from a platform to an area of grass about two meters below. I had a pair of Crocs on, so I must have had in reality no shoe protection. Until this day my foot hurts, I still feel a localized pain on the top part. I wish I could cure myself.
Oh my goodness! This is so helpful! I am having problems with my mid-back, my left hip, and my right heel.
Kudos for the Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (just google it)? It is a good exclusive guide for Relieving foot pain without the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my close friend Aubrey got excellent results with it.
My pain is where my 2-3 toes are connected to my foot, only after extended pressures in that area like pedaling a my bike up hill for extended time and when I go snowboarding after 3 hrs. It’s a burning pain but will subside after 15-20 min! Any ideas will be helpful, thanks!
Thanks for the informative video. I’ve watched many many videos on metatarsal nerve pain and think your tips have convinced me, it’s time to stop running in the minimalist shoes I’ve been running in for almost a decade. Thanks for the links to the insoles as well, very helpful, hadn’t been able to find these.
Have a plantar fasciitis since in the meantime 18 months. Fortunately it’s not as bad as it has been a year ago being I am still anything but pain free.
Especially in the morning hours it’s still super stiff and the first 1-2 miles of morning runs are everything but comfortable usually once warmed up properly I have little to no pain during the run.
The night splint helped a lot however as of late I hardly use it anymore as it started causing achilles tendon pain basically by rising your fore food you stretch the tendons on the bottom of your foot but at the same time tense the lower leg and achilles tendon.
Hope I will get it completely resolved this year as the duration of the injury has become first and foremost a mental challenge at this point.
I had plantar fasciitis for months and had to go on a school walk
man i had this pain for a year nw been going to the doctors, podiatrist, tryed inserts, tryed all the remedies to relief the pain. never knew that it could be some where else that causing the problem aswell. im gonna make those stretches my daily routine. thanks alot for showing this video…. like and subscribe
So what if the heel pain isn’t everyday just kinda get a sharp pain in the heel or achellies that might just last half a second I walk alot and probably could use a new pair of shoes I don’t think I have planters what else could it be
Thank you for your very clear explanation and demonstration, just what I needed.
Walking has been challenging for me a few weeks ago. It is just awesome how I had been able to finish a 5 kilometer run today. When you jog and run like me, then you should consider plantar fasciitis treatment “remrem fetching space” (Google it).
I walk everywhere it usually just goes away after walking a few steps and it just goes away
If the pain/feels tender to touch is at the back of the Achilles what does that mean?
Your socks have your name on them. lol That is awesome! Great video Sage, can you please discuss over pronation. Thanks
Falling from a tree and poping ligaments and tendons in my left foot didn’t help several years later I stepped off a pallet at work three times and I had searing pain in the middle of my foot it was about a month later that I started feeling the plantar fasciitis and I can’t pop my toes on my left foot but I can my right
Lovely Video! Forgive me for butting in, I am interested in your initial thoughts. Have you researched Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (do a search on google)? It is an awesome exclusive product for Relieving foot pain minus the hard work. Ive heard some decent things about it and my best friend Jordan after a lifetime of fighting got amazing success with it.
any one else get ripping pains in their tendon? when mines warm and i don’t have a lot of support, i’ll get a ripping type of pain. i’ve have that for the past like 3 years and i feel like every time i do it it gets worse what do i do?
My doctor said I have this but I think it’s something else. I did everything and my foot still hurts no matter what
Every day when i wake up it hurts like hell and slightly goes away during the day and when i’m running. Thank you for the tips.
B n B has there ever been a study linking poor poor lumbar lordosis to PF? I have had PF for a long time and have been making great strides in my recovery recently but kinda plateaued. I visited a Pilates instructor ( for general life, not PF) and she noticed right away that had very little curve in my low back. To make a long story short. I have been working on restoring some curve in my low back and I noticed my weight shifts back more into my heels instantly and takes much of the pressure of my calves and front feet. In seems like loving a life shifted fwd would really add to or cause PF. Thoughts??
I stand to long on my feet and it feels like my vains in my feet be hurting i be on my feet alot to long
Is it best to go barefoot or wear extra supportive shoes while healing from PF? I’ve heard both!
Appreciate Video clip! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your opinion. Have you tried Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is an awesome one off product for Relieving foot pain minus the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my work buddy got cool success with it.
hi there great videos. i do have a similar diagnosis but my pain is on the to side of the heel bone. does this affect the top of the heel bone as well?
I like how you demonstrated fasciitis in crow bottom of your foot. Generally how long does it take for healing to occur.
Mine is in MY left side of the foot and there is just a spot that hurs5 if toucbrd
My grammat is bsd becsude im in massicvr pain rn
8:12 Wow. I felt it immediately. Awesome! I really needed this solution. Maybe now I might not need to get steroid injections in my foot from my Podiatrist. Thanks.
When in the heck are you and Sandi getting married? I’m tired of this “business partner” talk. Ya’ll are cute af
You have really helped my left foot heel pain which was focused on inner part of heel. I had very tight calf muscle as well and this is helping a lot. Thank you. Do u think I can continue running while I work on these stretches each day?
Hi
I had to reply
10 days ago I was walking with so much pain. I’d had no improvement after 6 weeks of doing the standard stretches
I started your stretch and felt an immediate reduction in pain. I was euphoric
I’m now 80% better improving every day. I can easily do a three mile walk so life can move on. I’m so grateful to you and this video
Best wishes
Chris

What if you have scar tissue that’s causing you pain. Will strengthening the muscles that your talking about relieve the pain?
Guys/Gals, do not support your arches. Any arch support is a foot coffin. Hell if I will help only 1 person with this, awesome! Cause from experience plantar fasciitis is debilitating.
You might say what the hell are you talking about?? Well I challenge you to give this article a read, all the way to the end.
https://bjsm.bmj.com/content/49/5/290.full
This link is a article describing how important your “FOOT CORE” is to your plantar fascia, just like your abdominal core to your spine. It teaches you how to properly strengthen it as well so your plantar fascia is properly supported.
Your plantar fascia is like your spine. If you have a strong ab core, chances are your spine is going to be properly supported and it wont be under stress as much and the end result? Less or even no back pain. Well guess what? A strong “foot core” will do the same thing for your plantar fascia.
I had been struggling with plantar fasciitis for 2 yrs to the point of not being able to walk. I stumbled upon “OESH shoes” designed by Casey Kerrigan, a Harvard graduate and through her blog I found this article. It is unreal how this has helped me cure my plantar fasciitis forever.
Please like this comment if you find the article useful.
When I try to run I feel pain in the middle of my foot feels like something ripped across my foot from the inside I then wait like 10 seconds and I’m ready to keep running but I dont think I have plantar fasciitis it might be something with no name
I’ve had em twice in 30 year’s.
Hit the heel with a rolling pin right on the painful spot, medium swing.
2 day’s later all pain gone. Wear arch supports.
What is causing pain across the top of the foot from ankle to base of toes? i cant find any video that references that.
I’ve had this for around 2 months now, for the most part I just ignored it, but always wondering in the back of my mind what’s wrong.
Suddenly this morning after waking up, the words “plantar fasciitis” came to my mind. After googling it up this video came up which reminded me I had this condition happen to me before, just a few, maybe 5 years ago and that I had watched this very same video when it happened. I’m surprised at how bad my memory is.
With me it’s the right side on the top of my right foot. So like going all the way down from the top of my ankle to my pinky toe. Any weight on it is unbearable. One day my husband happened to squeeze my foot for a massage and I started bawling, the pain was severe. I just woke up like that one day?? I cant find anyone else talking about those symptoms. I do know that 4 yrs ago I rolled my ankle in that foot… Drs said I tore my tendon, and it took a few mths to heal. So Im curious if it’s pain from that coming back since I haven’t hurt myself recently in any way. This is so weird… Id swear my foot is broken, but how could it be? I would think I would remember breaking me foot. What could be wrong with me? Do I possibly need surgery to repair my tendon even though it’s been 4 yrs?
I have none of those but the part under my metathersals are inflamed according to my doctor. He said i have plantar faciitis and started eswt which really hurts! So the name is still the same if i have no heel pain, but have foot ball pain?
I have pain in my mid foot and back. My ankle also hurts. The pain is worse in the morning, but lasts all day. I can go days or weeks without feeling the pain. Just recently I went almost two whole weeks without feeling any pain. It is back now and is worse. Since it is early in the morning, like I said it is usually worse. But since I have been awake it is getting worse, and it has not done that before. I am not sure what to do. I have been missing a lot of school because my feet hurt really bad. And it has become painful to walk / run / stand.
interesting points,if anyone else needs to find out about causes of foot pain try Jadonite Plantar Treatment Buddy (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now )? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend got cool results with it.
It’s bad as soon as walk on my feet from waking up and walking all day at work.
I had my foot crushed about 10 years ago by a car being lowered on a ramp. It healed after 8 weeks. However 10-12 years later after running it feels like it’s broke?
My doctor told me I have one yesterday, but the pain i have is NOT on the heel or middle. I told her it’s by the ball close to the toes. It’s like burning and that feeling of stepping on a rock inside your shoe. Now she wants me to wear shoes at home can’t be barefoot at home. ♀️ It’s more like metatarsalgia. But she has the PhD oh wells.
Constant gnawing pain, like a toothache on the soles of the feet. It NEVER goes away.
I feel the bottom one when i go home to just relax from school then one minute later MY FEET STRINGS ARE TEARING
What is the diagnosis on the opposite side of the foot? I have all the same symptoms but the target area for pain is not at the arch/heel, but rather the outer foot ⬅️.
Excellent, very comprehensive and good examples. I have cervical and lumbar problems, thus I wear out the outer side heel on my tennis shoes. There is much pain as I walk. Thank you for sharing the information on your videos.
I literally have pain in the general area that is highlighted in your main slide and the video thumbnail
The pain is so bad that wakes me up in the middle of the nights. Im supposed to exercise 5 days a week because of my heart and bow I can’t. It hurts so bad and I don’t know what I did that cause me this horrible pain.
Well I know I have planters feet all ready but I am having some top sharp pain on my top left foot I hope I don’t have a blood clot like my mom had in her 40’s. If things get bad I will go and see a doctor if and only if I can’t walk you know. That’s what my husband says for me to do only go to the doctor if something is real bad because of the high prices doctors charge for just for being in a waiting room to.
Yes Thank you..
What Happens.
If Your fibia.. pops out of the Joint.up By Your Knee all the Time. Can it Make.

Thank you so much, I’ve been suffering for a couple of months.. Didn’t know how to do it but now
This video changed my life! I have been suffering from PF for almost 3 years. After a few weeks of these stretches I wake up able to walk pain free! I walk differently now and dont have to wear shoes constantly!
My cross country season starts in like 5 days!! Ahh none of thus works
I got Morton’s neuroma last year, and gotta say, this sucks.
I have genetic flat feet and I hurt my right foot in the center while dancing in rain boots. It’s never fully healed. It hurt sometimes when I run. But the wild thing is when ever I’m having mental cramps, the center of my foot hurts in that exact place.
This is very strange, and you probably won’t answer, but do you think it’s a nerve, tendon, or muscle?
And once again our Bob and Brad have provided the info we need! Thanks B&B!
Thanks for the Video! Sorry for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you tried Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (erm, check it on google should be there)? It is a smashing one off guide for Relieving foot pain minus the hard work. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my old buddy Taylor after a lifetime of fighting got cool results with it.

Oh, hell, I was given a steroid shot….I am pain free going on 1 year.
Strolling has been hard for me a couple of weeks ago. These days, running a distance of five kilometers has been achievable. This is all thanks to this plantar fasciitis remedy referred to
healthrevenant.com/nnkj. I highly recommend it to you!
I’ve had it and I keep doing football practice ever day and It keeps getting worse

I have flat feet where the arches are it’s sore there and majority of my foot, they swell and throb
I gotta see a podiatrist and wear good arch support. I use white tiger balm for foot pain it helps. Any recommendations?? Also what’s your view on Archie’s footwear thongs?:)
There is so much tension between the two of you I could cut it with a knife.I’m smarter, no I’m smarter.
especially guy foot on chair.
Thanks very useful tips. Yep I have it on my right foot, the most typical spot. been hurting for a year or so, seems to be getting worse lately.
Running, or jumping, or dancing, or ballerina. Lol well luckily I’m a ballet dancer so jumping, dancing, and ballerina! I used to run too
That’s what I’ve had in my left foot and then my right foot started to hurt but on top of the foot bones now both feet are in pain to the point I had to stop work as a CNA because I can’t do transfers to bathe my patients with this pain plus now it seems to be affecting my knees are weak. I also need to lose weight but I can’t do my walks what can I do I’m sure a lot of it has to do with my weight

Millions thanks to you, after thousands bucks wasted on feet treatment etc, hundreds wasted on pils and supplements, but you! for free, fix my feet!
I have Achilis tendonitis,it started with the beginning of the summer. Can it be slipper flip flops I was wearing more than three months that creates a problem.
My foot hurts when I run but not a lot I can still run and it hurts I rotate my right foot to the right it hurts like on the side of the foot
The pain is in the back of my heel not under it.
is that different? is it serious?
I’ve had it for 2 years and it’s getting worse, Sometimes it takes me a few minutes to be able to walk after getting out if bed.
My pain is in the back of my ankle around the Achilles tendon its it’s not under my foot but this hurts wouldn’t wish it on anybody smh
Holy shit bricks Batman… Between this video and the lower back “rowing” exercise. I have been in pain since 2011 after gaining 50+ pounds with my last pregnancy. Due to the plantar crap, the lower back pain and my uterus trying to kill me… the weight kept going up. After 1 time of the rowing exercise, the pain I have been having in my lower back is not there. I thought the back pain was a combo of blown disc and a cyst in my ovary making it ginormous. I can’t thank you enough.. When I try to work out, I am down for 3 4 days depending because of pain. Hearing you say NO don’t rest it, that’s the time to exercise it was a shock and I felt stupid because of course that’s exactly what I was doing. Can’t thank you enough. Saved me $6K to the chiropractor!!
Good as always…thanks!
(Volume seems a tad low-compared to previous videos).
I’ve been studying plantar foot treatments and found an awesome resource at Natural Foot Wizard (google it if you are interested)
I work as a nurse and have been struggling with plantar pain for years. It only required days to remove the pain brought on by the disorder after I used this plantar fasciitis treatment known as “Sαnkυnzο Kdα” (Google it). I don’t go through the disorder any more ever since I stop using meds and it`s simple to see whether there`s still any pain left…
hey,if anyone else wants to uncover foot heel pain try Bablim Plantar Remedy Booster (just google it )? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my work buddy got great success with it.
Excellent Video! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (should be on google have a look)? It is a smashing one of a kind product for Relieving foot pain without the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my work buddy got excellent success with it.
Plantar Fasciitis took me out for 3-6 weeks. It started around Christmas thru most of January.
I carry a small foam roller and roll my calves 3-4 times a day. Plus Tennis ball, frozen ice bottle and a lot of resisdence band stretching!
here’s a few tips for cures for plantar fasciitis
Try to rest your feet
Try Wearing supportive footwear
Use ice on your heel
Try ibuprofen or another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug to reduce pain and inflammation
try night splints
Do stretching and strengthening exercises.
(I read these and why they work from Rohon Foot Care site )
Appreciate Video clip! Apologies for butting in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard about Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (just google it)? It is an awesome one off product for Relieving foot pain without the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my close friend Aubrey finally got astronomical results with it.
Since I was younger I have mild to severe pain on my leg (mostly from my feet to my shin) and I would curl up into a position cause of the pain. It comes in anytime and sometimes as I wake up
Mind blowing how dr’s and podiatrist don’t talk about hardly any of this. While they do recommend stretching your calves they almost always are after repeat visits and selling you custom inserts(which can be very important for correct alignment) but they are selling them as the fix or temporary fix without solving the real issue! At 36 and having a few minor health issues lately while in other wise good health/weight, plantar fasciitis being one of the issues(IMO it has been brought on by being on a high does of anitbiotic for 30 days causing me to have extremely tight lower half of my body). I am blow away at how crappy our health care system is and how it is always about meds, repeat visits, referral after referral and expensive temp solutions that almost never cure the true issue.
Man, I really learned a lot from your videos. I really appreciate what you do. Thank you so much.
I have been to countless physicians, got sick from all the meds and yes, my feett HURT. The discomfort got so terrible I had to take pills every 12 hours. It was BAD. I found great happiness after sticking to this plantar fasciitis treatment method “remrem fetching space” (Google it). My discomfort is completely gone and now I feel a lot better.
This is why it’s good idea to snuff exercise, I got runners foot week one on a treadmill, a year ago it hurts right now
Sometimes, I would come to tears ( often after a 5 mile daily run) because of the pain. It was the law of attraction (I believe after buying, and trying everything under the sun) that brought me to your channel. I just finished this routine-stretch (in which the outcome so far is a feeling of relief from left foot pain). I will make this unique stretching an extended daily routine. Jeff, much gratitude and I can’t thank you enough. I’ll be checking out some of your other vids.
So I was walking on the beach sand for a workout for about a mile and next morning I woke up stood up and hurt so bad on my foot arch. Then both side of the one foot started to hurt now the pain moved around to make ankle too! I can’t go to the doctors right now because of corona
Please help I can’t walk because it hurts the more I walk
Hi, ahhhhh thank you I think that is what I have. But pain is higher up. I have had this on and off since I was 19. I just did yoga daily to help my back and then I got this . I have big arches. I only have it in my left foot. Don’t want to pull toes up.
I am a nurse and a plantar pain sufferer for a couple of years. I acquired plantar fasciitis treatment method “remrem fetching space” (Google it) and a couple of days of following it my pain is totally gone. I don’t have the condition any longer ever since I stopped using medications and it`s easy to determine if there is still any soreness left.
Hi Sage love your vids, so I’m starting treatment on my plantar pain doing most of the stuff you recommend. Do you also recommend inserts?
Mine foot pain is kinda weird, it only happens when I’m on a run. Randomly it feels like there’s a stick in my shoe, and it pokes right in the middle. I check my socks and shoe and there’s nothing, the minute I check it the “pain” is gone it’s really weird
I think I have this for a year already and I didn’t even know about it. I thought I was just getting old.
Bob and Brad, in January 2019 I dropped a 45 lb gym free weight. I suffered 3 fractures and one of them was a open toe fracture. 3–4 months later I was working 12 hour shifts back to back at a job with comfortable sneakers and the heal area of the plantar fasciitis was hurting by the end of shift and my foot the next day the pain amplified and started hurting the ankle is that normal? I’m about 390-410 lbs at 6’5” I know I need to lose weight to help it. What is the maximum amount of hours should you stand on your feet before sitting down? Also I can change footwear and my sliders aka sandals are best for the pain
I had a sports doc tell me to roll my foot with a frozen water bottle 4 times a day and after running along with stretches. Less inflammation ->, less pain, avoid heat!!!! Healed it up fairly quickly.
You said the video for strengthing glute med was attached to the end of this video. I don’t see it. thanks!
Your videos have really helped me use kinesiology better in my massage techniques as a therapist.
I’ve had gout in the past. My pain is only in the back of the heel. How do I know if it’s plantar fasciitis or gout?
Excellent presentation…..Thankyou. I’m 69 yrs. old and walk (this year) 5 miles a day ( non-stop ) generally 5 days a week. Generally between 3.4 & 3.7 mph. I am very get antsy and anxious when I’m off for long. My feet bottoms….I’m afraid get softened and can blister more easily. I’m impressed with stretching!..Thankyou
Do you have breathing exercises you do regularly? I have found that my breathing patterns line up well with my cadence on normal runs, but in high effort runs I often start gasping or breathing shallowly, and have to force myself to deep breathe instead of letting it come naturally.
Great video. Especially as it is mostly about prevention which I find crucial for feet problems. Once you have plantar fasciitis which effects simple walking, it might even take months to heal.
Business partner and co-coach. Clearly Sage reads the comments in his videos:) Great video otherwise Coach!
Going from a forefoot strike to midfoot was helpful to me….also freezing dixicups and icing………………came and went the same way-poof. Very good video.
Sage it would be great if you did a similar discussion on achilles tendonitis. Im actually currently recovering from this injury from about 3 weeks and it ended my track season.
Both hurt and im crying and my brothers are in games on 12:04 pm
I work on my feet 12 hours a day. My feet feel fine all day, but after sitting for the 25 minute drive home, the pain in my heels and balls of my feet have unbearable pain upon weight bearing. In the morning they don’t hurt at all. Is it plantar fasciitis?
Appreciate Video clip! Excuse me for butting in, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you thought about Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (do a search on google)? It is a great exclusive product for Relieving foot pain without the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my m8 got cool success with it.
I’ve only recently been experiencing this, would you recommend I go to my GP?
Hi I have been for Xrays Ultra sound and CT scan thinking something is inside like glass or something but nothing comes up and the pain isn’t in heels Its in the middle as you say only when I apply pressure by body weight not hands…. did any one find what this is my doctor keep giving me Voltaren but I refuse to keep taking it.
i had plantar faciitis and some how it stopped paining after i started working out…i think i was due to the weight i gained over 2 years..
If I experience knee pain after my run (goes away after 20 minutes of icing it) but not during my run should I be worried?
for the past days with dr. andrew’s 3 foot pain types,it just simulates the achilles tendonitis, bunions and plantar fasciitis too.
There are several factors in curing for plantar foot. One resource I found that successfully combines these is the Rohon foot care (check it out on google) definately the best resource that I have ever heard of.Check out the great information.

Can you have a peroneal injury without swelling or bruising while maintaining full mobility (move it side to side or in circles) without pain?
Wow! Thank you man! It’s the best explanation and clear solution. Can’t wait to get rid of it.
Lovely video content! Excuse me for butting in, I am interested in your opinion. Have you heard the talk about Mackorny Feet Ahead Blueprint (google it)? When I walk my heel of my foot hurts so bad I was trying to grab a spoon and it felt like it was like stretching too much it hurts can somebody tell me why??
Shit. I’ve been walking 5 miles a day for a couple weeks and the pain keeps getting worse smh
Sir sometime when i relax on bed… And my left heel is percendicular.. Then suddenly one of the vien of my heel so sensitive that i creates a lot of pain so that i jump off… And i cant locate this vien on my right heel… Sir please tell what is the problem associated with me… And tell whether it is serious issue
