I am proud that after two weeks off due to stomach virus, then sinus infection and trying to recover from tendonitis, I had to modify to protect the elbow but I did it! Now my legs feel like spaghetti. Glad I found your channel you are so encouraging just when I start feeling the frustration of struggling. I’ve increased my aerobics portion for weight loss and have been doing the other weight-training/abs related exercises as well as others by Kathy Smith, Chris Freytag and Shaun T (T25.). Not a bad, relatively light workout. Not remotely 800 calories unless you do it a lot more intensely than the instructors, and weigh over 250 pounds. Some exercises to avoid if you have issues with your shoulders, such as the modified push-ups, the shoulder work in the one arm push up position, and the on your back chest work with arms spread way out to the side. But, to be fair, he did say at the start to modify exercises to fit you.
Y’all are something else!! O my Gosh. You do killer workouts. I injured myself doing HIIT with all the jumping and getting up and down and now use you guys exclusively focusing on weight training. You don’t play. And although I am already pretty fit, HASfit, is a whole other level!!! Thank you and hope one day to never have to pause the videos.

I’m. Morbidly obese but trying to strive towards a healthy lifestyle. Usually I skip a workout when I feel tired. However, today I am extremely proud to complete the entire thing.
I did take breaks in between because my weight was not allowing me to continue for long but I’m happy to have completed this and will strive to take fewer breaks till I master this routine. Great routine by the way. Coach Kozak and Claudia are my all time favorites

I’ve been using this workout everyday for about 2-3 weeks and I can certainly say that it is a lot easier then when I first started

I had to take a lot of breaks but holy shit I refused to do those push ups.. I simply couldn’t do it without my wrists hurting or just fail at getting back up. I did everything else though! This was really hard. I’m with Claudia those push ups suckkkk!

I just wanted to say thank you for being so friendly and motivational during the entire workout it really helped me a lot.
I’m currently 19 y/o but I am about 300 pounds and rising and never felt motivated to ever really work out. Doing this workout I could barely do any of the workouts and felt like giving up multiple times and even felt like throwing up after the video was over and even typing this I am still feeling pretty eh. It was the constant reminders of why I was doing it in the first place that kept me going.
I want to live as on as I can, have a family, live to see my kids have kids, become a teacher and so so much more. Being reminded of that goal in a friendly manner kept me going throughout the whole workout.
I realize I have so much to improve on and learn about being healthy and I hope whoever reads this stays motivated and continues to not only improve their health but themselves as a whole. I have a long road ahead of me and so does everyone else, I hope we can all go down this road together <3

I can’t thank you enough for all the workouts that you post. I started doing these work outs back in March and I’ve lost 38 lb since. Just over mid way to my goal and I don’t think I’d have gotten to where I am now if it wasn’t for these videos. Having just finished this video now I can tell you that my legs feel like jelly and I love that feeling because it means I’m one step closer to being fitter and leaner.

I’ve just tried strength training today using another video, and during lunges my right legs felt so uncomfortable I stopped. My mistake was trying to do it fast and low without the proper form AND I did fast cardio warm up. Well, learned the hard way that I need to start from beginner videos HAHA

I’m just beginning this type of workout after doing mainly cardio for over the last couple of years. This workout made me sweat and it was just the right amount of difficulty for my level of fitness! Thanks for sharing…great video! I esp. appreciate all the commentary throughout that helps me make sure I am doing each exercise correctly!
How did you measure the burned calories? Can I rely on it with my diet?

LOVED THIS! It was challenging… Very challenging! There were some form adjustments I had to make because I wasn’t quite strong enough to do them.

My heart rate didn’t increase and i didn’t break a sweat during this workout yet i am out of shape, is this a bad sign? I felt the pain during the excercises such as the crunches, I’m a bit worried that I didn’t burn any of those cals or increased my strength training? Is this a bad sign? Help!

I really like basketball, especially when I play with my brother. Even so, I observed that he can jump higher than me. I seek guides all over the net, used them but found no good results. Luckily, I stumbled up on this “Jumοnοz Azb” (G0OGLE it), a plan for vertical jump. My jump has enhanced a lot ever since I started this program..

Dear.. What’s are the benefits of strength training… Will it leads to weight loss or body toning?
It was great! The only thing I nit picked is the tricep extension with leg lifts. Since that’s an ab exercise, you’re supposed to inhale for muscle contraction at the high point, not exhale, if you exhale it’s less effective. I would try to find an easier way. I just did the opposite directions but there are other ways to modify it.
I just want to say thank you to you guys. In every video I’ve followed along with, y’all have been super supportive and really understanding. It’s something I greatly need when working out due to some past experiences and health problems.
Side note: you always mention to remember why I came to your videos in the first place and it’s very motivating. The reason I’m doing strength training in the first place is due to PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) which has been fucking with my body since I hit puberty. Weight lifting was recommended to help control the symptoms of it and it seems to be helping! So, thank you guys! Y’all have no idea how much your videos help encourage me to continue getting healthier and stay positive despite my condition.

Because I was sick for the last two months I wasn’t able to work out like I used to. Now I’ve lost my muscles and gained fat on my thighs and butt. I feel sad I wish I could start again but it took me two years to get a nice body and now I feel like it’s ruined.

I like this workout. It was harder for me because I used 25 pound dumb bells… never again. Lol kidding I’ll use it but on certain sets. I have a 10 pound dumbell so I mix it in.
When they said they have a baby!? I didn’t know they were together!!
That was tough! I’m proud of myself because I stuck to my heavier weights, but I did have to take the occasional break between sets during the last ten minutes, or else I would definitely not have been able to maintain good form. But I did, so, hurray!

Thank you for posting, this was a good basic workout. Just fyi I measured the calorie burn with my FitBit Charge 2, which has a heart rate monitor. It only burned 111 calories, and your website said that it would burn 158-232. For anyone at home without a heart rate monitor, be careful to err on the conservative side when using FB’s calorie burn. I knew I would be on the lower side because I am an average-sized girl, but I didn’t know I would burn fewer calories than the lower end of the range.
How long we need to rest after this workout before taking a bath.
Your videos run too fast, its difficult to keep up and that’s been one if the biggest challenges in being able to follow your workouts consistently. You need to slow down a bit and take your audience along with you.

I’m really liking this, two days I do it in a row already. It’s prety complete unlike most strenght no equipment workouts that focus mostly on lower part.
I really can’t do the push ups though, yesterday I tried in vain and ended up skipping them, today I did them at least against the wall, I still felt it working.

Have to be VERY careful with anything that has high impact on the body or knees. I do not recommend jumping jacks or any excersize involving the knees until your doctor okays you for that according to your weight. Once you blow out a knee, it’s over so be very careful.

I have advanced arthritis in my ankles. Due to the Corona Virus, I cannot go to the gym to work out on the machines. Yours was the only decent weightlifting I could find that did not involve straining my ankles during warmup or during the workout itself. Thank you so much for this!

Thank you Claudia and Coach Kozak (sp?). Your workouts have been my Godsend during the pandemic for my peace of mind and as a great counter to all my stress eating. I will slowly be returning to work (two days a week to start), but I will be sure to include you two in my daily routine, as I have been for the past 3 months. I appreciate your exceptional knowledge, concern for safety and constant motivation. Although a lifelong athlete, I am increasing my fitness now at 56. I have also increased my bone density and lowered my blood pressure. I was going to give up running Tough Mudders with my man-sons, but I feel more than ready for when we finally get back to full public events.

As someone who just got back into working out I almost considered stopping at doing two reps but I surprised myself by making it through the whole work out. This exercise was intense and while I know I didn’t do all the workouts correctly or even keeping up with Joanna that’s something I’m not even kicking myself in the butt for. But I know the more I keep at this the better I’ll get. Well done with another intense workout Joanna

The workouts are great but the combinations of exercises are quite challenging. Would be nice to have some exercises that could catch the breathe a little in between breaks.

I love this workout! i sometimes have to take a 5-10 min break at the half way point cause i struggle with vitamin D deficiency which mainly effects my elbows and knees. But ive noticed that since ive been working out and slowly loosing weight i dont struggle as much as i used to because my joints are carrying less body weight.
Proud it done this work out on my wednesday evening, when I actually didn’t want to do it anymore, nailed it!

I consider myself an allround well-trained person, I have been doing weight training for about 20 years now. This workout was good, however, the emphasis on the front of the shoulders was not proportionate. I have had sore shoulders for 3 days after this workout. This had nothing to do with my choice of weights, but with the series of exercises back-to-back that put a lot of strain on the shoulders. So, if you have shoulder issues, be careful with this workout.

Yeah, those oblique crunch things are legitimately impossible for me. I can not keep my weight off of my hip, and I just roll around a bunch. Alternative?

Did this workout with 5 friends using Zoom meetings. We loved it. Great overall strength workout. Was having a hard time finding a full hour workout on YouTube. This was perfect to hit all body parts!

Hey Coach and Claudia, I love your videos (particularly the low impact ones). I know you give tips on keeping proper form during your videos but I think it would be good to have a video on form. A short video on how to do a proper squat and lunge in a knee safe way and maybe how to plank properly as well. I know you can hurt your back while planking so I shy away from a full plank, I do the knee ones as they are safer for my back. I am very active but I am careful about my knees and my back so a video about how to tricky moves safely would be helpful.
I would love it if all the floor exersizes and standing ex were grouped so there is not so much up and down. Really makes me dizzy

I’m proud I finished this workout. I was sore from yesterday plus I dd it in the afternoon when my energy level is lower.
Loved this workout! The moves were very different from what I’m used to but loved the challenge of it. I’m 57 yrs young and need to keep active due to aging joints, arthritis, etc, and work outs like this one really help mobility. Thanks so much. I just discovered you last week..glad I did.
