Water is about 50-65% of the body and fluctuates often.So 5lbs fluctuation within a day is well within the norm. I can lose 3 lbs in an hour just by going out for a run.
Sodium and carb intake will also cause water retention and higher weight that will normalize once the sodium levels drop back down and glycogen stores empty.Weight fluctuation varies from person to person. A quick glance at any weight loss forum will show people fluctuating 2 to 4 lbs. per day all the way up to 10 per day. The bottom line is that your weight will fluctuate, regardless of what you do.
Determine how much your own body fluctuates and then avoid contantly weighing yourself.How much weight is it normal to fluctuate in a day? I only started weighing myself recently, and I noticed I fluctuate between 120-126. I only weigh once a week or so, usually at night. Then one random morning I weighed 115, and I was so surprised by that I weighed myself that same night to confirm it was just fluctuation and was back at 123.
People normally experience weight fluctuation throughout the course of a day. That change can be as large as four or five pounds, mainly due to fluids and salts. My doctor said at my last checkup that I was the exact weight I needed to be for my height, no more no less, but I’m still very self concious and try to eat healthy. Right on time girl! I’m 5’8, and I’m comfortable around 153-157 ish range. I went up to 167 , but recently got it back down to 164. This video really helped me. I am 16 now and I have been eating twice the amount then usual for the past like 4-5 months. I went from 5’8 53kg to 5’9 64kg the last 4-5 months. I was never a heavy eater or anything. I used to eat nothing during school for a long time and then only eat like 2 meals a day. But now I am just a bottomless pit. After 2-3 hrs of eating i am hungry again. It all makes sense since my dad had a BIG growth spurt on my age. He went from 5’7 to 6’2 so that’s a very big jump. This past year I gained 20 pounds (I’m 13) and I was really over thinking it lol I think I thought I was never gonna stop gaining weight but it’s been a month and I weighed myself again and I thinkkk (Hopefully) I stopped gaining weight. I might be getting taller, I have kinda big feet and hands and you said that means you might get taller also gaining weight so hopefully when I get taller it all evenly distributes:)

Dude grew out of all of my jeans over the summer and for like six months I’ve eaten actually healthy, run an hour a day plus soccer practice, focused on getting enough sleep and my weight hasn’t changed at all other than some muscle definition. Honestly you look just as beautiful with the weight. Your curves are the reason that attracted me to your channel. Women with Ashanti, Tammy Rivera, Porsha and Megan makes us women of color see beauty in our thick thighs, booties and “flaws”. I also use to be thin as a teen but I promise the men I come across said I look 100 time better with my grown women figure. It’s all what make you comfortable but either way I’m rocking with you ✊

I truly appreciate this realness from you China:) I’ve gained a total of 35 pounds in about 16 months. I’ve gotten to my CAP as this is the heaviest I’ve ever been. I have periods where I get back on with working out and eating clean, but the struggle is committing and saying NO to social events. I think the best thing to understand is that we all go through it, and it’s a bit more comforting to hear your transparency and know that we all go through body esteem issues. I try to be grateful at times by being thankful for being able-bodied and relatively healthy, but I do have moments where I get down on my body image. Thanks for sharing and i know you will get back on your journey:)

My friends say that during puberty you gain a bit of weight meanwhile me gaining 22lbs since 4th grade now I’m in sixth and I am still short as frick but I used to be shorter. I used to be 4’3 in 4th grade and the next year by the time it was the end of the school year for 5th grade I literally grew 6 inches but I still look fat -_Also, how many years does puberty last for (rip english at this point. But I have a ” mommy body ” now without a baby…. It’s terrible.while pregnant I was 226( but solid with a good shape), after birth 3 days I was 216 a week later 208 ( because I could barely eat ). Now fast forward I’m 230 pounds ( so jiggly, my belly hangs now, my shape has changed, strangely my butt is getting flat idk)(plus I’m 5.5ft). You see, I been working out for a couple of months. And, I feel my abs but don’t see it..
I’m 12 and weight 140 pounds, I feel fat and I don’t eat a bunch of good stuff because I don’t know how much of everything I’m putting in my body, I don’t know what I should eat or what amount of calories I’m done to eat at once. My dad is good at diets and he lost lots of weight during his deployment (because my dad is in the military), he lost over 100 pounds and I’m thinking about asking him to help me control my diet, I also want to work out but I can’t go to the gym pretty much and my parents version of working out at home is running laps around where I live, and I hate running! I think it is more fun to run on a treadmill. I was looking at my lowest weight last night and realized that I got some work to do! I signed back on to myfitnesspal and started today! We know how to get it done, THATS ALL THAT MATTERS!
I got to a point I don’t check the scale anymore. I do my weighins twice a month and focus on physical appearance, measurement, meal prep and fitness. Dont know if u like this suggestion but if u want to lose those 12 pounds fairly fast, try a water fast for a week or like 10 days, if u up for it.you still look nice tho. i did it and lost 16 pounds in 18 days it was hard,i aint gone lie lol

Thanx for this video boo!! I needed this tomorrow i just told myself i gotta get back on it. My weight fluctuates a lot and when I get exhausted i over eat! I can’t lose weight fast and i can gain weight fast so me losing weight and keeping it off it’s definitely a lifestyle with still enjoying life.
I tried a lot of diet. last week I decided to be very consistent to my diet the the period showed up I just saw the number on the scale going up and this made me loose hope I got back to my bad eating habits

Thank you for this video this really helps with self esteem because we see reality stars all of the time and it just seems like they are always looking fit and in shape but they have money to get work done so you show a real woman’s body and struggle and I commend you for that and thank you because it shows girls like me or woman like me that we should not judge ourselves too hard from what we see on social media and we need to just keep sticking to our workout regimen and do our best and not compare ourselves
