I wish I had the funds to eat healthy and get enough calories to not starve. When I was weathly I ate so good and felt great, therefore I made more and more money, now I have no funds, so no good healthy food, and I feel like sh*t and so I have a hard time feeling well enough to get my game on and make money again. After putting at least 30 miles on this, it runs smooth ✒> share4.photo/RoadBike?Cの it’s very light, and a decent amount of speed for a bike this price. The seat is uncomfortable so I just added on a gel seat cover. The matte on the bike can easily be scratched off. However, there are a lot of upgrades in the future with this bike such as handlebars, pedals, tires and so forth. Overall an above average bike for the price it is. Definitely worth it!

NUTRTITION (60-70%):
! go plant-based (oats, legumes, nuts, seeds and so on)!
reduce/stop eating:
-processed food
saturated fats and too much salt
too much carbohydrates and try to avoid sugar (glucose excluded) as much as possible
eat at least 500-700g vegetables every day
SLEEP (30-40%):
a (deep) consistent 6-8 hours sleep EVERY DAY (normally about 6 hours are way enough if it’s of good quality)

I’m fairly fit and can do about 10 pull-ups on a good day…1st set of 30 would destroy me and take 10-15 minutes of doing 3 at a time 2nd set my muscles would be destroyed. I can also crank out 30 pushups no problem…but doing 30 plyo and then 30 burpess with pushups for a total 120 pushups after the first round only This seems like a very advanced workout

I usually do my Tempo workout without rest periods at low to mid HR zone 4 (around 85% of Max) A 60 minute Tempo workout like this will get you in shape to sit in a high speed pack. It won’t get you in shape for the “jumps” that you often get. You’ll have to drive yourself into the red, with very short recovery periods, for that.

Great training tips, but I would imagine that most viewers here wouldn’t be able to complete even one of these workouts. I’d recommend that riders start out cutting these workouts in half, to start…(I’ve never done a 20 sprint workout. The most was 10-12)

I can NEVER sleep early. Although I am a heavy sleeper, I can NEVER sleep at 8:00 pm US hours. I always end up sleeping at 1 to 3 am in the morning. Sometime I sleep early but I wake up in the middle of the night for no reason. Is this normal? And I’m not a adult I’m a teenager.

Want motivation to lose weight? Go to China Korea or Japan. I went on a month trip to china, almost everyone was fit n fashionable. Not to mention most of their outfits don’t come in larger sizes so I always had to buy purposely oversized t shirts. Yup……..

Cutting good carbs veggies has now been proven not to work. The insulin spike from a slice of bread is far greater then most veggies. Almost veggies can be grouped into 5/10 or 20% carbs.

I always find it funny when videos or workout programs say “easy way to get in shape,” like its that simple. The steps themselves seem pretty simple, but maintaining the motivation and commitment to pursuing fitness is no easy task. It takes months of hard training to become ‘fit,’ while it is very easy to slip up.

These exercises are too advanced, and will discourage anyone. It is also unrealistic showing some one so obese in the main photo, then fitness models. People need to start of stretching and doing cardio only, then basic p.e. warm ups. The video goes into pilates, toning, and track runner warm ups

sprint sessions with my brother definitely made for loads of fun. With both of us being part of our Provincial High performance program, trying to catch up on him while he’s sustaining over 1200W was no easy feat.. managed to catch him once though. I’ve been doing a variation of sprint and fast intervals training. The difference is that I’ve been doing them as 60 minute sessions. Rest sessions involve high cadence, lower effort. Sprint segments start with tall gears, and low cadence, doing build-ups to faster cadence. It’s a bit like strength training for legs and cardiovascular system. In one year I’ve gone from barely 20kph to about 30kph (75% average speed), and my endurance has improved. As the saying goes, cycling never gets any easier, you just go faster.
the best weight loss tip is to not rush it… it’s better to take it slow and lose weight over the years to come. everyone wants to lose 100lbs a year when they’ve been 100 overweight since they’ve been kids.

Great workout, but far too advanced for those just starting to get fit. This is not your typical home workout, so if you don’t already have a solid fitness base, skip this one. It will be too much and too demotivating when you can’t finish even one round

guys. What ever exercise you cannot do now, it’s fine. Replace it with another one that recruits the same group of muscles. BUT. Make it hard. Ashley says this herself in the intro of the video. Literally ANYTHING can be made hard. Then you’ll build up to the specific exercise you THINK you can’t do.

do you have a lot of long, uninterrupted stretches of road in the UK? I guess if you’re on a road that just has roundabouts instead of stop signs or lights, this kind of training would work. where I live there’s nowhere you can ride without hitting 1 stop light per mile, and you will generally have to stop at most of them. so short intervals like this wouldn’t work, you’d end up having to stop in the middle of your intervals all the time. I think for something like this I’d have to break it up into 1 mile blocks and do a few intervals per mile, instead of breaking it into 10+ minute blocks
I’ve ridden 10000km this year so far (about 8500km outdoors and the rest on Zwift in January, February, March). The last 5 weeks I’ve been sick and not able to exercise until now. I’m looking forward to start training again, but how often should I exercise? Last winter I tried 5-6 days a week, sometimes more. How often to push for intervals, how often to just do an easy spin.
This summer for comparison I had nearly 3 hours a day for six weeks with out rest just to see how far I could push it, and it went well I would say.

I started going to the gym consitently, eating lots of vegetables every meal, drinking more water and getting more sleep.
I never drank much alcohol or ate many processed foods. But i also cut on those. They don’t enter my home but I’ll still have them sometimes when I eat out or something like that.
I also only have 1 meal a day but I think that doesn’t apply to everyone.
This gives me inspiration to lose that baby weight I’ve been trying to get off for a bit now.
Like imagine how much money a regular person would have to be willing to pay for all of that food when dieting like that.

Do you have any advice for doing these on a commute? My commute is about 13 miles and takes between 50 and 60 minutes so the time is about right but when I have tried intervals in the past I always hit a red light part way through a high effort segment. I do have 30 sets of lights to contend with over the 13 miles down from the 36 sets on my old slightly shorter route.
This is super advanced, no beginner can even finish the first round

I’m 46 i looked better than theses guys most my life, still have the build, gotta go work the fat off, it will” burn and turn” into the muscle the hardest thing is to build muscle from scratch, that’s the real chore because you decide how you are shaped and the foundations of your frame in proportion. regarding workouts, do minimal amounts of weight at mass repetition, do not feel the burn, if you do, stop, and exercise another muscle group, you will know when it is time to up your weight. tearing muscle does not help, it only creates long-term damage and muscle fatigue, if you slowly properly build muscle ( isometrics) is great but don’t overwork out, it is to enhance your body, not destroy it. stretch people, stretch out before you workout. i’m glad i read serious literature before i started working out when i was young as it really helped that i didn’t destroy my body by tearing muscle and doing heavy reps, it will also make you stronger than these larger people by mass, basically, you might have lesser muscle mass but you will be actually stronger than the others, never sacrifice agility and strength for mass. all physique will come just longer, stronger, and more developed.

Too simple, too easy. There are no short cuts in life just facts and changing your ways. He is just restating the facts. Sometimes it takes another person or repitition to really connect with the straight facts. Let it soak in and say the same thing he says over and over daily. Other people have said the same thing but realize and understand they are all saying the same thing. Listen, catch on, and do as they state. It is not rocket science, just PLAIN FACTS. You may be watching this video looking for a different answer or a nother opinion but you have to realize it will still all be the same. I am 68 years old and remember when I was young you didn’t see that many out of shape and fat people that’s because we did not have tv, computers, I phones and other things that took us away from getting natural sun and exercise, we just endured and kept going. There are more killings, in school, churches and public. Tell me the old ways were not right and todays society is getting better. Revert back to simple life and living.

The 9/10 and 10/10, is that Zone sub5 and zone 6+? In the Coggins Zones anything above 5 is anaerobic, so 10 minutes of zone 10 would be tough in the Anaerobic zone.

We decided not to bitch and moan like the rest of u, and do the workout. 8 months later my husband and I are down 55 pounds a piece and living that clutch life! Thankyou Ashley for changing our lives. This workout is not that bad, and it’s a workout that u will not get burnt out on like u would doing p90x or the latter. Stop crying and just do it!
When you say 10/10 effort, that could mean different things for different durations. For example, I can hold just over 300w for 20 minutes, and that is 100% of my capability at this time. But if my effort is only going to be 10 minutes, I can go 320w. Or 1 minute I can go closer to 550w. Or 1hr would be my FTP.
So my question is, when you say 10/10 for 10 minutes, are you talking about 10/10 that you’d be able to sustain for an hour (FTP) or 10/10 that you can only sustain for the specific interval? The 2nd option usually ends up with later intervals being less and less powerful, but when I finish, I’m completely toast. However, the 1st option means that the early efforts feel like I have more to give, because I’m saving for the later intervals. I’ve done it both ways, but I’m not sure the actual intent.

Dips aren’t necessarily the best for the end of workouts where more compound upper body exercises are done because of potential damage to your shoulders. As a trainer I keep anything dip related at the first part of the workouts. They can actually be a great warm up for your chest and upper body.

No such thing as getting fit fast. Aerobic adaptations take orders of magnitudes longer than a simple 5 session program. This gives people a false sense of hope and plays to their own instant gratifications.
