I love how chaotic this video is hahaha you can tell she’s running around to finish dinner before the kids start screaming hahah. I will definitely try this recipe! Sounds delicious
Hahaha.. aww youre so cute and hilarious when you tried saying rootbeet, brootbeeet? Beetroot
A great way to use the packages of cooked beets I buy from Trader Joe’s.
This recipe is amazing just made it! I added a little more tahini than this but it was so amazing
OMG I am happy to merg You again. I have seen You long tine ago making basturma.
That’s true very creative. The best root idea is amazing. Loved it. We here in uae eat white color humas all the time. This pink one looks more tempting
For anyone as lost as I was as to the stuff in the jar, it’s tahini. I feel like this tutorial made very little effort to make this easy to follow. Thick accent and no list of ingredients in the description, cool.
Thank you so much for these awesome recipes, tried all of them, turned out sooo good You are so cute and explain real nicely
your recipe and you both are very sweet. I like the way u smile.
r u Spanish?
Heghineh jans, you really motivate me to cook, apresssss!!!

Hey Donal, where can I buy Pom `molasses in Dublin? Looks delicious! Thank you!
Yummy I’ll definitely give this hummus recipe a try I just love your always upbeat personality
Ah,that looks so good. I adore hummus as well as beets but haven’t blended them together before. I like the ice cube idea. I usually add olive oil during mixing as well and like plenty of garlic & lemon. Sumac is a favorite spice of mine too. And hey, I’ve beets in fridge and am cooking up some garbanzos— so, perfect time to make this! Subscribed — you are delightful to watch. Food that i grew up on — have you used favas/broad beans to make “hummus” purée before? It comes out a bit “stouter” and I think needs more salt, and is often not made with tahini. Officially hungry now.
Shilpa i will definitely try this recipe. ❤️ You are looking so beautiful ❌⭕❌⭕
I really dislike beetroot, but even I have to say this looks delicious! I can tell you take amazing care when presenting your food!
I’m so glad I found your channel!!! I’ve been binge watching all morning…laundry, dishes and errands can wait!

The best hummus I ever made was with cranberries! Absolutely delish!
Hi Sadia. I am a Huge fan of you and Robin as well. Thank you for this wonderful recipe. But I have a big doubt of the preservation of hummus if I prepare in large quantity or at least for a week/7 days. Sometimes foods get fungal growths or microbial growth or odour/taste change (even though it is stored in proper freeze). So, could you please tell us about how to preserve any food for longer duration. you can also make a good YouTube video on this topic. Thank you very much and have a lovely day.
I’m going to try this today, it looks awesome . You can make your own tahini too. Thank you for this recipe you’re awesome
I made this dish today and it’s absolutely easy and very delicious ❤❤❤ thanks Donal for this awesome recipe
I live in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and pomegranate molasses is pretty much impossible to find here. Could you suggest a substitute ingredient please?
You deserve more subscribers like seriously! The quality is amazing!
@Donal Skehan Is there a replacement for the pomegrante molasses? May mix honey with something? I really don’t want to lose the flavour.
Hummus is not hummus without hummus which means chickpeas in arabic 😉
What could one substitute for the pomegranate molasses? It sounds amazing but not quite a student budget item. Also I’ve never seen it in Australian stores.
Absolutely love the videos and recipes! Stop being so adorable!:D
Beetroot Hummus is my favourite. I would love to roast the beetroot to get more flavor. Also, more than pomegranate toppings, fresh Avacado slices topped with sprouts and nuts goes awesome with the beetroot hummus
YouTube pagl hai kya only 1 m subscribers bo bhi Shilpa Shetty ke
Why go to all this trouble when you can just dip your finger into nutella?
You have the most luscious eyebrows!
I’m not a big fan of regular hummus, will have to try this instead!
Call it ” Delicious Beetroot Hummus….ish lol. Looks very tasty. ☺
Hi! I love your videos, I was wondering what made you interested and passionate about cooking? I’m intrigued, keep up the good work:)
As a middle-eastern! I actually see this as one of the best and original hummus recipe with a great twist in it!:D
this looks amazing!! i’ve never heard of pomegranate molasses and have never even seen molasses in an australian supermarket, can any aussies tell me if it’s called something else here?? would love to see more recipes for or including dips, sauces and dressings!
I would add some olive oil and some water to my preferred viscosity! But I love the recipe, definitely going to try this!
So what is it that makes this a hummus? Is it the tahini? Because I always thought the chickpeas were the central part of the hummus…
Either way this looks delicious, and will look amazing contrasting next to my plain old normal hummus recipe:)
Wow…love that pink colour dish…so tempting mam… thanks for your lovely recipe…
Looks so yum! is there any good alternative to the molasses? I can’t get it anywhere!:)
Lovely nail paint machine with the recipe, yes ma’am very healthy recipe
I’ve never tried beetroot before! Seems like a good way to start eating it!
My favorite tip for regular hummus is to add some white wine vinegar. Everyone should try it, it’s soooo delicious.
Hey Donal! As somebody mentioned beforehand, this cannot really be called a “hummus”, because the word “hummus” in Arabic means chickpeas and there are no chickpeas in this recipe. I understand that you were not going for traditional, but please keep it in mind. Apart from that, it looks really nice:)
Walnuts, good idea! Thanks, I’m going to try your recipe. I was looking for a good recipe to try. Excellent presentation. I’ll check out your other videos and subscribe.
I’m dying for beets! They are great and I eat them in everything.
I never really liked beetroot but this looks awesome, I really might try this soon:) and btw you’re so cute how you present your food and how enthusiastically you talk about it:D it just always gets me into the mood of wanting what you cook there:D greets from Germany:*
I was sitting here watching this video, it looks fantastic by the way, and realized I have everything to make it. So I did! It’s really tasty and very quick to make. Oh…I didn’t have pomegranate molasses and probably wouldn’t find it in our grocery store, so used our regular ol’ molasses. Thank you for the recipe!
Yummy! I love hummus I’ve made it at home but with chick peas and I had it with carrots and cucumber chopped like fingers! Deliciousness new way to make hummus thanks Donal
This hummus looks incredible but isn’t it a bit too sweet by adding pomegranate molasses to beets, who are naturally sweet?
Thank you donal!i was in a bad mood before and now im not,you always make me laugh so thank you!!
Beetroot “a la” hummus. What’s not to like?!:)
#beetroot #hummus #noms
I thought you were going to use fresh beetroot as its in season and lovely to juice, but I am definitely going to try this as I love Hummun, thanks Donal:-)
It’s not really hummus if it doesn’t have chickpeas haha cause hummus literally translates to chickpeas!
I’ve been wondering what to do with the beetroots in my fridge, and I now found the answer! Thank you!
Omg I went to the library and found your book translate into German _ I was so happy… I really like your videos and the amazing recipes:D you are such a cool guy:D big regards from germany! <3 #littlefan😀
You can top it up with olive oil too and chopped parsley…
Omg Your Twist always work like Pixie dust I never knew u would post about middle eastern Food tbh this Hummus Is Freaking awesome and the pita bread is just its better half i hope u post more Arabian recipies This recipe is such a beauty omg but still I ll be adding chickpeas
By the way it can’t really be called “hummus” if there’s no chickpeas in it. Then it’s just a dip.
I would’ve never thought to include beetroot in my hummus! I’m definitely going to try this out:)
Can you make a video about SAMOSAS?? And maybe a dipping sauce?:)
looks soooo good!! but Im sorry to say hummus isn’t hummus without chickpeas! whatever you call it, it definitely has an amazing colour:)
Have you tried making your hummus in vitamix? I recently bought a vitamix and I am wondering if hummus is made better in a food processor.
woah! want to try it but i dont even know what beetroot is? is that a sea creatures? haha. But to be honest it looks so good Donal! (though i dont think those ingredients can be found in our place lol) and then sad face:(
If you struggle to find Tahini and you are not Vegan, you can replace it by Feta 😉
Hey donal how hard is it balancing youtube with filmming for bbc also
Have you ever tried ramune soda
Love all your simple recipes even it’s hard sometimes to get all the ingredients here. Big Love from Indonesia!:)
It looks so vibrant! I’ve recently just discovered the joys of beetroot so I’ll definitely try this out:)
this is not Hummus???? you can’t say hummus recipe without add hummus??
i am from the city of Hummus:D
Ironically Hummus literally means chickpeas in arabic! so it feels weird to see a chickpealess version of hummus, looks like a lot of fun though:P
I heard rumor in huge plant based forum that you torture and eat animals now. True?
lovely dishes every time:) keep up the good work:) could you please make a strawberry bread?
Watched few of your videos and had to subscribe instantly:)
Not to mention beetroot is really wonderful and you should make more recipes with beetroots.
Greeting from Slovenia:D
That looks really good! Love me some beetroot. But I was wondering, can I replace de pomergranate molasses for balsamic vinegar? There’s no molasses here in Chile. =)
That one little piece of garlic u missed really bugged me

2:23 Your roast garlic red pepper hummus is amazing! Even more ridiculously delicious with 1 tbsp of MISO… really elevates the flavors!!!
Your sprouts look amazing!! What do you make the sprouts off? Lentils or peas
I’m really curious, why does she say “it’s so rude”? It sounds really fine for me
This is so bad!!!!!. Where is the Hummus in this recipe?!???
Beetroot Hummus as regular Hummus need to be made from cooked, mashed chickpeas or other beans inside in order to call it Hummus. This recipe sould be called for Beetroot Tahini instead! For real Beetroot Hummus it’s recommend to check different recipes.
My anxiety watching her cut beetroots in a White sweater:

I AM A NUTRITIONIST THEWORLDS BEST WATER, IT REACHED INDIA IN FEB 2017. SINCE THEN INDIVIDUALS WERE USING THESE MACHINES, BUT, INSTITUTIONS WERE STILL DEPENDING ON MEDICINES AND SHORT CHANGING THE POOR PATIENTS. EACH MACHINE CAN SERVICE 400 TO 550 PEOPLE.
Every men wants to marry women like us who loves to cook as the saying goes the way to a man’s heart is to his stomach, lol
Stupid thing about canned Hummus is its calorie count. 100 g of boiled chickpeas 165 cal, tahini 595 cal, olive oil 884 cal. And how possible canned hummus of different brands gives average calorie count of 160-170 cals! I tried recipe and calculate all of ingredients. Result is 300 calories per 100g. It depends mostly how much you prefer olive oil.
I Might (Try) it. Sounds (Gud). Could Be (Positive). Would Love a (Sample) Possibly. Sounds (Healthy).
Roasted bell peppers hummus prepared according to the recipe came out yummy…. thanks
Wow, this is amazing. I didn’t know that you can do all of that with hummus. Thank you! I am starting my vegan journey, just 3 days in, and I am looking for different recipes.

What might I have regularly stocked in my house that I could replace the pomegranate molasses and tahooladoodoo paste with?
Hello pick up lime
Can I use green capsicum instead of red bell paper??
What a beautiful and easy hummus!! Well done AGAIN Donal!:-)
Got inspired and tried a roasted garlic and paprika hummus! And it was delicious… Thank you!
Thank you, Sadia. I tried the classic lemony hummus and it was super bien. Quick and simple. And now, there are less things in the kitchen world I am afraid of.
I’m sorry but this isn’t hummus as it is without chickpeas. The word ‘hummus’ actually comes from the arabic word for ‘chickpeas’. This would be better suited to be called a beetroot dip:)
I have dried chickpeas but oh my life, I need to see if the pantry still has some canned beetroot. Roasted beetroot hummus, and the store-bought jalapeño and lime hummus are my favourite! Really tempted to make them from scratch now
Your beetroot hummus recipe inspired to learn how to make it. It is really delicious!:)
That last recipe is not hummus. Hummus (حمص) is Arabic for chickpeas. No chickpeas, no hummus. Nonetheless, the others look delicious.
Who are the 340 people that put a thumb down to this video???..I mean…smh, don’t wanna be rude. but smh!!!! Please keep those video coming, im putting the all fam on a new healthier lifestyle.
I made the roasted garlic and red bell pepper hummus and am currently having it on a piece of fresh walnut bread, it’s honestly devine!
You’ve inspired me to make my own hummus dips. They all look incredibly delicious and can’t wait to make them. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for the share, I will try to make the beetroot hummus sometime.
I just made this… I can’t believe my tongue, it’s so good!!!!
You are soooooo amazing!! I love your videos and recipes! They are easy and delightful!!
I remember a hippy humous recipe from the 70’s made with black beans and peanut butter instead of tahini.
Hummus literally means chickpeas in Hebrew and Arabic, so it’s weird to call it hummus when it has non in it. I’d say it’s more like a beetroot dip kinda thing rather than hummus. It looks good though, could work with some herbs to lighten it up a little too.
i don’t made the tahini! i mixed the sesam seeds, but not working
I enjoy your videos very much. I’m trying to cut out oil and I have found that you can make your hummus creamier by leaving out the oil, and adding some aquafaba from the canned chickpeas. It’s really delicious. Comes out very smooth and creamy
.
Hello:) i am amazed of your really positive nature. And i love to listen to your potcasts.
To make your delicious hummus I need a little bit help, i tried the normal lemon garloc hummus two times. The firdt one was to bitter(i used a really bitter tahin and walnutoil). I than bought a new tshin that tasted better and used thid and rapeseed oil. And it doesn’t comes near the hummus i bought. Does olive oil really make that much difference or does the hummus from the store nirmally not taste like original hummus?
Thank you:) have a nice day
Hi Sadia, I love watching your videos, but can I ask? Who are the caption authors that you mention in your description box? What are their contributions to your video? Thank you.

Hello Shilpa shettykundra I will open a channel called Indian Cooking, but I need to take some of your videos and translate them into Arabic because there are a lot of people who want to know how to cook these delicious dishes but they need a translation, so I will be happy and I will translate everything you say in arabic. So I wanted your consent to publish some of your videos and to translate them in Arabic so that the Arab world can watch them because there are many Arabs who want to translate it in Arabic. Thanks and I I’m waiting for your reply
really a healthy dish which is really very tasty and yummy for all ages……..try it and u will love it
i also tried this dish and really very satisfied with this dish with low calories and good for digestion
Hummus should not have any water in it. It’s a suspension of chickpeas and EVOO. So you add the oil as you blend the chickpeas for this, you need a blender which allows you to add oil as you ‘churn’ the ingredients. You can also add other ingredients as per your desire chia seeds, flax seeds etc.
You r actually all rounder…plzz reply mam m yr biggest fan
Wow!!! One doubt.. We roast the beetroot directly on fire like brinjal?? Or on tava??
