Would you recommend protein powders always when working out?
I love this video, it’s so helpful! Some grocery haul videos would be fantastic.
Wooow you have so many options I live in France and there are a few things but such thing as a vegan PIZZA? Never seen one I hope it changes soon cuz I really miss pizza ice cream too
I absolutely love your vegan food haul. I am shocked all that food in the Thrive Box is less than $80. I am definitely signing up and buying your cookbook. All these recipes ideas makes someone like me, go vegan.
Everytime I’m about to get paid I come back to this video, to get my grocery list on fleek…
I would literally eat anything you cooked, you are able to present food in a way that makes me think wow I don’t like this ingredient but this is the most delicious looking thing i’ve ever seen <3 awesome
LINK FOR GLASS MINI JARS ARE GONE… Found them here..

I love all things that you mentioned. I like coconut cream the best. Thanks so much. I have just begun Vegan lifestyle for 1 month・So amazing and happy
when you go to the store and get grocery’s, how do you reduce waste? like yes i know you use jars but i don’t know how to explain it haha
it’s so hard for me to find vegan ice cream and meat at my yeehaw heb and walmart:) my dad doesnt like kroger so he wont take me there
Love itI like field roast sausage I would love it if the sodium wasn’t so high
WAIT ARE YOU DUTCH? Why do you have Albert Heijn peanut butter??
Edit: okay so I looked it up and she’s Canadian living in the Netherlands. If anyone besides me cares haha.
Thanks for this video, Liv! I also try to prep any fresh veggies that I buy at the very beginning of the week and then freeze what I don’t use. Since I cut it all the first day, it makes prep so easy and I can just throw veggies into whatever I am using! This is also a great idea for in-season produce. If you shop at a farmer’s market a lot you may be able to get extra squash or fruit and freeze it yourself to use throughout the winter!
Just discovered you!
Do you think I can use your IP cookbook recipes in a Mealthy 2.0 pressure cooker?
I love the rapport between Crystal and Derek. The natural ebb and flow of their presentation is really easy to dive into and enjoy.
That tip on freezing nuts and seeds is wonderful, I always wondered how to buy in bulk and keep them fresh…. How did I not learn of this earlier
I am really excited because I am about to move in my own apartment, which means I will be able to choose and not fill my kitchen with frozen pizzas ^^

watches while eating procesed cheese and pretzels (; w 😉 I need help
I love this couple. They are so sweet. We can’t get everything the same in the UK but most stuff. Its harder when I visit my parents in Spain, I can’t find ingredients like flaxseeds, nutritional yeast, jumbo unprocessed oats, or the same greens there. They also only seem to have supermarket own brand non dairy milk and I dont like them. I can never find Oatly over there!
I’ve seen a lot of grocery haul videos and this is the BEST one. I love how many ideas and recipes you gave us! On the menu this weekend: ratatouille with pasta, raspberry galette, and smashed cucumber salad!
fuck im a guy and new to your channel but i dont know why i cant stop watching
Those yellow vegs are just yellow zucchini i believed?? i would love to see a video with a pair of recipes with cauliflower leaves! Yeah i can try myself buuut i have a baby so i ll be lazy and ask you to do it ;D Great haul!
Need to know how much? Seems super expensive for all organic
So, are we supposed to buy everything on the “grocery list: essentials”? I don’t think I can afford to buy all of that, but would like to start being vegan:/ I’m a student so I need cheap, fast meals.
I recommend making your own nut butter, it’s super easy and fun imo
What’s wrong with peanut butter, or is almond your preference?
Been zigging and zagging on a plant based diet for 15 years. Time to finally start upping my vegan cooking game. I can be survive eating raw oatmeal, plain lentils and rice, however to help me dial in a healthier diet even more, it would behoove me to up my cooking skills. You are the first channel I have actually decided to subscribe to to help me start learning. Thanks for the great videos. Already did one of your desert ones within an hour of finding your channel. Plan to try one tomorrow as well. Greetings from Bay Area, California.
I was going to ask where to buy those jars and so forth, but then I saw that you have a ton of information and links in the description section. Awesome!
Yo does this shopping list not exist anymore? I only just ran into this video but when I click the link it just takes me to her blog page:(
my spices stables
cinnamon
cardamon
macis(same plant as nutmag but not the seed which was not allowed on aip)
cumin
tumeric
oregano
thyme
formerly paprika but it is no longer allowed… damed nightshades
Wow I just signed up for your email. Thank you for all of the helpful things it’s so nice you don’t charge
Hi, Derek. The content, you’ve made, inspired me to stay vegan and never turn back. Thank you so much
My problem is I just don’t have enough room in fridge to put in all the nut/seed butters I have…
Am I the only person who sees that she bought PinDa KAaS?! (Peanut butter in Dutch)
I loved that you included the mindfulness part when grocery shopping! We often take our privileges for granted.
Hii everyone…! Sadiya
I love your videos and was looking at the links to see what I can save up for.
But the mini spice jar link isn’t working and for anyone who wants them, I found a close alternative at the link
https://www.amazon.com/KAMOTA-Airtight-Silicone-Funnels-Seasoning/dp/B07NV7Y65N
Thanks for the video!! I love the realistic factor here when it comes to cost since feeding older family members can cost more than fifty or seventy-five bucks. I watch a lot of videos that seem very unrealistic when it comes to the amount of food a family would consume over the course of a week, as well as the associated costs. I am always left thinking that maybe my family is greedy . Thanks for the awesome video!!!!
Love these kind of videos! I heard you mentioned you drink soy milk, did you ever find it had a negative effect on your body? I’ve read a lot online and I’m worried that it’s not good for my health because I’ve recently started drinking it and wanted to know your thoughts:)
Hey guys! I need to know where you bought the tahini from haha! It’s so hard to find runny tahini. ps, I live close to you guys, but I haven’t seen that brand at Naked Naturals, was that from Superstore or Costco? Thank you! x
Thank you for sharing this tutorial. Do you have any recommendation on cookbooks that expand on vegan meals?

I love how real this is! I see some big families share their grocery hauls and be like, “We spent $100 and this should last us three weeks!”
Toujours aussi satisfaisant a regarder
j’ai juste envie de tout faire pareil!!!
encore merci pour ce partage bienveillant
Wow your Aldi has quite the selection! It’s not like this in the US but we are getting there ❤️ Great channel!!!
This may sound so weird but when you were talking in the car at the beginning you reminded me of the actress Dakota Johnson, not her particular but the way she portrays Anastasia in fifty shades. I don’t even like the film lol but you just reminded me of her in that moment. I mean it as a compliment by the way, your gorgeous and so well spoken.
Sadia I have been watching your videos I do enjoy them. I have learned a lot! I always wonder you don’t live as muslim yet you have a muslim name. I first thought maybe your parents love the name. But, then I came across info that you were born in Pakistan. Lived in Canada. Moved to Netherlands. It is sad though to know if you were born in a muslim home. But, chose not to follow Islam. I am Muslima. I love being one and though the rules are not that easy to follow in this life mixed up with other cultures and religions. But, Alhamdulillah it is gift from Almighty to me to be able to stand firm and strong towards my Faith. I would rather die, give my life then live my life as non muslim. No matter the amount of success or money or this life happiness. I prayed and will continue pray in tahajjud that Almighty guide you to success of this duniah as well as akhearah. Be happy and keep sharing good knowledge and I will keep on praying for your beautiful heart! Love peace Allah Hafez Shehnaz Ahmad…by the way I am tour guide in Johannesburg South Africa pop in for a visit in sha Allah.
Could you make a kitchen/plant tour? My mom keeps asking what type of plants you have!
When suggesting to buy from ethnic places, you forgot to mention Mexican.
I am a big fan of mineral water and am saving for a soda stream. It’s really nice to drink water with some citrus or fruit flavour in it. For now I buy the mineral water from Mount Franklin (the mini cans are perfect and recycle).
How do you know how long things are good for? Once it’s open or if you put it in the freezer?
I love red rice, it comes from europe which is great, tatsts nutty and slightly sweet. it can be cooked lose for salat or sticky for onigiri and mixes great with sweet, warm and just as well with maritime flavours. for rare occasions I have some basmatirice as well. otherwise my starches come mostly from squash, sweetpotatos and plantains for I have to be careful with grains…. maybe millet gets reintroduced… I loved it ^^
I had a bad experience with store bought peanut butter, i had it in a Tupperware for a month because i forgot about it. BUT when i opened it there was no mold and it smelled the same it freaked me out so i no longer eat store bought peanut butter.
A convenience tip about CHICKPEAS… I’ve started cooking mine from dried in my instapot and they taste sooooooooo much better than the canned (plus healthier and cheaper)!
I make a big batch and then put some to have on hand in the fridge for the week and freeze the rest to have “on hand” whenever. To freeze them, I spread them out on a cookie sheet to dry off and then freeze them flat like that first, then transfer them to ziplock or container afterwards. That way they’re not all stuck together and you can sprinkle out however many you want to use at a time. To thaw, just put in some hot water for a couple of minutes and they’re good to go!:)
Love you I’ll start a new vegan diet so this kind of video will help me a lot!!! Thanks
I wish we knew where she gets all her jars and storage things:(
On top of the fact that I learn so much from her when it comes to recipes, food, etc. She’s also extremely beautiful, I’m sure many of you could agree.
Sadia you look way happier and excited than any other videos! How cute and lovely you are..
Those little spice jars are freaking adorable. Thank you so much for putting the link to get them on amazon, will definitely be buying a bunch when I move out of my tiny apartment
Im 14 years old and im extremely unhealthy… I eat watever im given and usually left to scavenge in the kitchen ehehe
Yeah a Canadian grocery store. I actually recognize the brands. Will check out the cookbook.
YOU ARE AMAZING!! A true gift to the world! You’ve made my life so much easier and I’m so happy to have found your channel. Thank you for all that you do!
I remember when I started watching your videos a couple years ago and I wondered why you didn’t have more subscribers. I love to see that you’re finally starting to get the recognition you deserve! Thank you for making my day every time I watch a video!
The P.C pasta sauces there’s one with fish and one without. I r,ever seeing that too.
Yeah Kale causes me to have gas and stomach ache…what does that mean? Am I allergic to Kale? I have NO IDEA HOW TO HEAL THIS DISEASE
Lady I am a severe carnivore but I won’t lie. I’m being heavily persuaded by your videos.
Eggplant is delicious in a stir fry. I tried it in a Thai style stir fry and it’s great/turned out wonderfully. I also followed the minimalist Baker. Great recipes. Love the video!
Wow wish there was a supermarket like this in the UK presentation is on point
I recently have been switching to a vegan diet. I was having really bad acne and inflammation and I always felt tired. Since I have switched my skin is the clearest it’s ever been, my energy is up and I am more motivated, productive and energetic! I used to hate cooking and now I look forward to it! Initially I was worried about the costs of switching, but I have honestly spent less on groceries and food since switching because I don’t eat out as much and I’m buying things in bulk! You have inspired me to be excited about food and you’re personality is so lovely! I love your videos and recipes so much! Thank you for all that you do ❤️
The more people become vegan, the more bullsh*t unhealthy vegan products will be made by the commercial food industry. Is it really so hard to just stick to real food (potatoes, beans, rice, oats, whole grains, greens, fruit, seeds et al) and leave that packaged (soy protein isolate and vegetable oil) crap on the shelf where it belongs? I get maybe treating yourself periodically to something like Baked Lays (and then trying NOT to eat the whole bag), but I can’t see all these commercially made products becoming part of someone’s diet on a regular basis. That’s just lunacy.
Thank you for sharing <3, I'm gonna try the one pot chili mac and cheese, it looks amazing!
I can’t access to the PUL community for the PDF list. There is a server error. Any other way to have the list? Thanks, and congrats for the 3 years.
I love and respect u Brandon the fact that you mention vegan food and change it up and give ideas on how it’s OK to eat these foods and still turn out buff is a very good calling my sister is vegan and personally I’m not but I try to eat as much vegan as I possibly can we do it to support her at home and believe me if I could avoid animal products and choose vegan I do and I will and it’s really cool how you gave ideas on how to incorporate vegan lifestyle With your diets
Those cocomels are SO good! I get those in my thrive box every time!
“I usually like it Raw. My girlfriend does too.” Brandon, 2019
☺️
Raw vegetables?
Nut cheese?
These two most definitely made a baby today.
I agree: tomatoes are just the best during summer. And I actually do eat them like fruit, even if they are just regular size:D (it is pretty much an apple then, right?:P)
what is the green sauce recipe that you show in the video? Looks so good!
I dont knw if i like the food or you more… Thats confusing for me
Can u and your wife please make vegan meals that are easy to chew? It’s hard for me to eat with my dentures and without them I can’t even chew salad. I have to go vegan I have horrible health problems and MUST go vegan. I have MS and that’s a disease that stems from being allergic to almost everything in the world so I have to go organic vegan. Please help me this is my first channel I’m looking at how to be vegan. Thank you
Maybe you could do a video showing how you store foods in your refrigerator?
Always such great treat to watch your videos. I hope you know how awesome you are. Keep the great work going. I made my first mixed nuts butter and it was so awesome!!!! Thank you!
I recently discovered you and needless to say I’m OBSESSED. Thank you Nisha didi for being such a badass desi representative in vegan cooking. Can’t wait to see all that you accomplish ahead. More power and love to you!
Have you done a pantry and fridge tour?please do one if you havent!!! Would love to be nosy and see all your food
Your boyfriend is crazy if he doesn’t marry you! Thanks for the great content and getting right into it on your videos. ❤️
hey there, i come up with an idea for replacing your chick pea cans. Instead of buying these alu cans we soak a huge amount of the dry ones over night in enough water, boil them the next day and freeze them in portion to have them ready when needed
Thank you for posting this video. Really good ideas. Can you say how long after the “best by date” an unopened box of tofu can be used. Thanks
Totally agree with sticking as close as possible to what’s on season! (And summer is the best season!)
Also, love putting the fresh herbs in vases. That’s such an underrated trick that expands their shelf life!
I enjoyed this haul..these are things that my household uses on a regular…much more realistic!
I don’t own an instant pot, does your cookbook still has non instant pot recipes?
Can you do a recipe video for sprouted mung beans. Have lots of them and don’t really enjoy them raw and sprouted. A cooked recipe would so great.
Thank you for your consideration
I love how you talk about you boyfriend’s attitude towards produce and how you joke about his potential deficiencies ;D Also, very kind of you to choose what he likes as opposed to what is cheaper!
I wish my farmers’ market had all those beautiful options! It’s usually pretty empty until we get closer to autumn. I love Thrive! I work at a distribution warehouse, so whenever I’m watching a Thrive haul, I’m looking at the packer’s name to see if it was me!
Some of the the vegan products you picked up are extremely unhealthy-canola/sunflower/safflower oils (highly inflammatory), candies and non of them were organic.
Hi sadia.I am jo frm india.new subscriber to u.I am very thankful to u.ur videos such a nice very useful.I have to plan to start a youtube channel.ur my inspiration.thanq..thanqq…
Great video! Much useful information giving me the names of good products. You 2 are an entertaining team.
Always love your videos! I definitely need to try more of your recipes. I’m terrible in the kitchen, so I’m always intimidated by them.

I shop at a store called smiths grocery store and their app you can make a list according to the store you shop at and it will tell you where that item is located
I don’t like spicy foods, but I admire how many fruits and vegetables that you like. My husband is so picky .
There’s a very good reason men in relationships live longer than their single counterparts
I use the Thrive autoship. I have items I always use automatically shipped once a month. The website still needs a little work, but you can change your items before it ships.
I love that bedtime tea. It’s not fast working, but if you have it every night for weeks it builds up in your system and I can barely keep my eyes open.
I laughed at the wine comment! Also at you snacking during this haul, because I would totally do the same thing.
Loved this video. It has further convinced me that I need to get my behind on Thrive Market. I saw at least 3 things that I buy regularly, and with the way my life is set up, it would be amazing and convenient to just start getting things from Thrive.
How long does it take you to go through all that food? I find it a bit challenging to minimize grocery trip during COVID. I love grocery shopping:(
“your own free copy” (That you have to pay to get them) I’m soooo disapointed:(
It’s good to see you Crystal! I really like your grocery haul video. You would think the grocery shopping would be easy but it is also very easy to fall in a pattern of buying the same things all the time. This just gives me A New Perspective and new ideas of what to buy and incorporating to my diet. Thanks!
I want some plastic free corn! My gosh, I am so jealous! The ones we get are small and always imported even though we grow corn in Poland. It annoys me so much as I love it! I hope you’ll enjoy it twice as much (for me as well:D)!
I love your channel!! I have one tip for the rice:
In Brazil we stir fry the rice with a bit of oil, garlic, onion and a pinch of salt and seasoning of your choice before boiling it. My Irish husband now finds normal rice boring haha.
Thanks a lot!
OMG you guys, if you don’t have her instant pot cookbook. You must get it. Recipes are amazing. NISHA Def knows flavor and food
I have a quick question: where is your blender from? It seems to work a whole lot better than mine hahaha loving the videos!
So good produce is generally available where I live as many of the other products you have in the US are impossible to find where I live:D I would enjoy the video anyways as I just LOVE your content, but it is got to have something to relate to!
As a curiosity: in Poland all the cardboard punnets for fruits and veggies are rectangular as opposed to square!
Cherries, blueberries and raspberries are just THE BEST thing ever. Honestly, I adore them so much I could live of them during summer:D
Is there a way to browse first, join (or not) later? After all, I want to see that Thrift Market carries my usual groceries at a lower price and maybe some hard-to-find products too. I’d be comparing items to what I normally get at my local Sprouts store.
What a epic grocery haul!!! Love thrive Market
Definitely have to try out those vegan snacks.
Now a days you’d be lucky to even get half of them groceries is hectic out here esp in NYC
the kombucha green tea is where it’s at! it’s my absolute favourite tea:’)
Guys tip for the peanut butter!
Buying 100% natural nut butters can be expensive so I great way to make you own is to add any nut if your choice to a blender. Blend until smooth and boom!
Nut butter
don’t tell me Im not the only one who’s mind hit the gutter when Brandons gf said she liked Nut cheese and giggled
I have your instant pot recipe book and it is the most used book in my vegan recipe library. Thank you.
I love your videos and recipes. you are awesome. I have been following you for a long time and applying all your recipes. I have a question. Are you skinny because you are a vegetarian?
Awesome video. I have been vegan and share vegan recipes for a while. Have been loving it.
Tomatoes!!! But that ratatouille looks phenomenal! I have your cookbook so I will have to try it. Also, I live in Kansas and without Thrive it would be hard to be vegan. I really appreciate them!
I like these shopping videos. Nice to get new ideas. Also, it’s soooooo easy to make peanut butter. You should try it. I make a batch every few weeks and it’s better and cheaper than anything you can buy. Thanks for the vids!
My 13 year old daughter is vegetarian and has been since she was little but never realised it. I have always struggled to find things she will eat, but what an excellent haul you got, you have given me some great ideas, never thought Aldi would have such a great choice, especially those pies, Im off to Aldi. so glad I found your channel x
And yes it was hard to keep a straight face with you and your girlfriend I tried not to laugh as well but it’s hard not to when you mention the nuts and ninja turtle testicles
I loved this video! Signing up for thrive market right now, love that they have clean beauty stuff too!
This is super super helpful. I just had a midnight thought of like hey let’s go vegan and now I’m here and was like I literally don’t know anything wow. So thank you!!
Are you in Canada? My dad’s name is Becel and he found that butter when he went to Canada. We live in the states and he still has the empty, clean tub on top of the fridge
So much produce! Can you do a video showing how you keep your produce fresh?
Thank you for the audio announcements. I hate it when suddenly it’s super loud, thank you!
CAN u do a « how to made «hemp tofu » video? (Without soy tofu) iIt will be awsome
Please can you help me to get that free pdf? I went to the website, I signed up and all but I can’t download that. Why??
I will check the items on iherb or vitacost as i dont have thrive market in Singapore drooling over my samsung galaxy note 8 love your recipes making me hungry Thanks Ramya
Hahha wow this is some amazing content guys! I like the joke in the end as well ahhahahah! You rock!
Great variety! I also got cherries this weekend. The perfect afternoon snack!:)
Love love love this style video from you!! Thrive Market has been a lifesaver always but definitely throughout COVID! Thanks for sharing your favorites!
I’m just watching this in 2020 and I’m shocked at the prices in Canada!!
I heard My my my Troye sivan in the background when you were shopping <3
2020 I looked for vegan food on amazon didnt find it also I’m doing 7 day vegan challenge
Love this! WIsh i had a resource like this when I first started! I just started a Youtube channel full of vegan content! Recipes, challenges, reviews, what I eat in a day and more! It would mean a lot if you checked it out!
Anyone going vegetarian in coronavirus lockdown? Just me? Okay.
Edit: Thanks so much, your video has helped me a bunch and I am officially a vegetarian in a meat-eating family!
they played firework why don’t they play good music at german grocery stores:(
This is a great video. You’re showing the world that buying vegan can be sensible and yummy.
You and your family have an exciting week of great food ahead! Portobello lasagna sounds so delicious.
I just found your channel and I’m already obsessed! New subscriber here
This is the vegan channel I’ve been looking for! Very realistic and large family friendly! Thank you for sharing!
OMG! food is SOOOO cheap there. I live in the Caribbean and in my country everything is 7 times the price. for example that almond butter by Barney is $74.00 where i live so going vegan here is 10 times as expensive. for a healthier lifestyle It’s worth it tho. I’m slowly transitioning. I make “market” here where there are lots of fresh vegetables that i can play around with. Thanks for the tip tho!
I’m so happy to have found a video of someone shopping in a grocery store that I actually have access to. Thanks for the Superstore love!
That beans song was engraved in me as a kid, and i am the exact same way as far as it going through my head when I’m making beans or buying them.
I get the idea but plastic doesn’t help animals so I try not to buy it
Niiice!!!

Haha I loved the “goro dostaar” comment! And cheers! it’s always 5pm somewhere!
I’m not sure if it’s a “New Zealand” thing but the beans rhyme is slightly different. “beans, beans, good for your heart, the more you eat the more you fart, the more you fart the better you feel so beans beans at every meal.” does anyone else know this version?
Very well balanced vegan grocery haul. I like miyokos cheese too, it taste the most like cow milk cheese. It doesn’t have that fake cheese taste like most of the other vegan cheeses.
I have all of these in my pantry. I’m not vegetarian or vegan, so I also keep canned sardines on hand at all times.
I’ve been without meat going on 7 months now. Gardien is kinda my go to, it’s $5 in New York. But even at 6 bucks it’s still a great value. It’s 4 servings / meals. I look at it like each meal I’m gonna use it for only costs $1.50 which is awesome
I’m new to be coming a vegan so I found your video to be very helpful. It’s nice to have some idea what the labels look like and about where to find them in the store. Thank you!:)
This video is SO helpful!!! Sometimes we can feel quite limited in our local food store but I didn’t notice how many plant based options were available. Also I am learning to budget in the food area which is so difficult for me and I learned some really good tips thanks to you! Tank you so much for sharing, you have no idea how many people you are helping!!:D
Yes this is vegan but so much of this isn’t healthy at all. Like margarine is literally cancer in a tub and what’s the point of being vegan if you’re going to eat vegan chicken and vegan burgers like it’s clearly not healthy just cause it’s vegan.
Great tips thank you were trying to est plaint based foods. I wish you would have shown the labels closer but still great tips.
Thank you for going to the store for us and showing how to shop for plant based food saved me from feeling aimless when i go your effort is very appreciated
This looks yummy. Would you believe it I have never done a food shop in Aldi. I always go to Lidl. But the amount of good stuff they have here I think I may have to give it a go. xx
I like how environmental you are and how you don’t like plastic packing:) thank you
I’ve never heard anyone pronounce produce, PRAW-duce… lol it just made me laugh. Thank you for all your tips!!!
where do I go to get the grocery list for newbies because I can’t find it on the website
If it’s summer I shop the farmers market as much as I can and any other time it’s Aldi’s. And I always have my eyes on sales at places like publix and Kroger which are extremely over priced here in the state’s
Just a tip. I don’t know if this is applicable to NS but in Ottawa (ON) Walmart and superstore price match to other main grocery store (farm boy, metro, food basics, independent, etc) so you get to get quality food at a budget friendly prices and only go to one store for sales so I use an app (reebee) to look up sale items as I put things in my cart and get them on the other stores sale price!
Your videos are empowering! I always felt overwhelmed transitioning to Veganism, but your quality videos radiate love that encourage me to pursue a plant-based lifestyle. Thank you, Sadia! Can you also share some of your kitchenware essentials?
First of all Huge thanks for having this channel. I’m a 32 years old male that two months ago was having high pressure and was border line to diabetes. I refused to take meds and started looking for an alternative, I found “What the health” and this channel. A month after just eating plant based hole foods I had none of the health issues I was dealing with and lost 15 pounds. I can’t explain the amount of energy and overall improvements to body and mind. My journey has been hard but you two have helped me stay motivated and consistent. Thank you!
What I really wanna know is your skincare and makeup routine? You look amazing. Thank you so much for this video. I love listening to you talk.
This grocery store is stacked where I live there’s BARELY anything vegan and there’s no such thing as “no name” or vegan candy or tons of foods labeled 50% off or that little cart that has a discount like thats sooo helpful
watches while eating procesed cheese and pretzels (; w 😉 I need help
Green onion is a god tier vegetable. Chop it over soups and feel the joy
Love your sense of humor, I feel like I am watching a friend talking to me. Thank you for sharing your ideas.
Very very helpful! Going vegan, and I am trying to have everything organized so I won’t stress too much trying to figure things out at the last min.
Also, thanks for the volume warnings ❤️
“Did you wash that?” was thinking the same thing and relieved that you did!! luv yer vids, yer adorbs!!!
I Love your videos! Thank you for all the meal ideas included in your food haul.
I notice you didn’t check for organic in the frozen section. Be careful
Seeing your list made me realize how unorganized my grocery lists are in my notes.
I’ve been vegan now for 1,5 year and you’re one of the people that have helped me so much in the beginning of my journey so thank you so much for that!! I love watching your videos, you guys have such positive, radiant energy!
Are you Gabi Hernandez from the soap Days of Our Lives? You look just like her!
Superstore is the plug I love shopping there. I love the vegan/natural foods selection, it offers so much more variety then sobeys or other stores.
I make my own tomato puree and cook it down until it’s reduced down as much as I want then add some salt and jar it using jars I ‘disinfect’ using heat in the oven. If you do it right they never go bad. And they don’t have the metallic can taste. Plus I know what’s inside. It’s all tomatoey goodness
I have to read the ingredients information before I place the items in my cart. If it has sugar in it, I put it back on the shelf. I’m allergic to sugar, eggs and dairy. That’s why I became Vegan in the first place. Thanks for sharing your grocery haul.
I love making sure that I buy things in glass jars so that I can save them and use them at the bulk bins. I found a local market that has a bulk bin and I am so excited!
Grocery hauls are my fav, thanks! In response to your question about a grocery item I’m loving… I literally always love Kimchi, so much of it in my fridge… I think I have 2 small jars and 1 large one currently… wait three small ones, lol! Have a great day Nisha:).
When you showed those ‘mini’ packages of flour… I’m pretty sure these are actually bigger than a regular package of flour in my country XD
Nice! I enjoyed the haul. There are recipes I used at the beginning of my journey that have fallen to the back burner. Your video inspired me to get those early recipe cards out and put them back in rotation.:-)
You changed my life thank you for helping me go vegan you are amazing
I’ll check out your raspberry crumble bars. I like fresh blueberries in my oatmeal and pancakes.
I am old enough to be your mother. lol. May I say you are such a beautiful young lady.:) You are also very knowledgeable. Good for you! And a warm hello, from a fellow Canadian.
I love kale massaged with lemon juice, it seems to break it down easily.
I’m planning to become vegan but never seen a vegan option in any of grocery stores in my area, which part of Canada you live? And where is that grocery store located?
You would probably like the store I work at (Coles) we have quite Tuesday to all music in shop and microphones ain’t in use it’s a quiet shop it’s so peaceful
VEGAN MOTIVATION: I went vegan at 12, not rich or privileged, non-vegan family and still vegan 4 years later. If I can do it so can you! Let’s leave animal cruelty in the past.
Vegan Youtuber btw…
I love our Aldi (in the US) this was fun to see how different Aldi products are between the US and other countries. I’m especially jealous that your Aldi carries scones I’ve never seen them in our Aldi I wish!!
Lol I made my mom buy the 20 pack of hotdogs a few days ago and now I’m almost certain I will become vegan.
I love Aldi. It’s just me, myself and I so £25 shop lasts me well over a week
I wanna transition to vegetarian, but all these carbs I will never maintain a healthy weight, carbs make me swell like like a marshmallow.
I haven’t had mini cheddars for years but indidnt realise vegetarians can’t have them. There’s so many products I’m still learning about. All these years I didn’t know walkers crisps aren’t veggie neither.
Deeply appreciate this and all your videos. At this point, I’m three weeks whole foods plant based. Feel great, working to diversify and limited and picky palate, so these vids are super helpful.
I would never go in aldi years ago as I thought it was cheap and I went to a friends house and they were showing me the food they got and I changed my mind,it’s so good. I can’t do a full shop as I’m quite fussy on certain things, mainly meat,I’ve actually gone off meat. But the vegetarian food you have shown is great. If you can save money then your better off going there. There caramelised onion chutney is gorgeous on your melted goats cheese. That’s a good shop for the money. Xx
Oh this has me tempted to go there again now! Whenever I shop there, the veg and fruit goes off really quickly and it really put me off. Theyre extending our one to be 2 floors though so might give a try again! x
Good food haul, the sweet potato fries are delicious, there my new fave at the moment, il have to try the cocktails on ice, i have,nt noticed it in my locala aldi yet. x
You got lots for your money, the pies sound really good! I say Aldi, rather than Alldi. X
Nisha, where is the recipe for that green sauce your putting on those tacos?
all the brands with semi sweet chocolate chip have dairy at my walmart.
I sometimes shop at aldi but I do need to get most of my foods from Tesco as I follow a vegetarian and dairy free diet… I find most vegetarian options in aldi contain dairy products. You have got a lot there for just under £100 though, you done well. Loving your new kitchen by the way bet its nice to put shopping away in nice new and tidy cupboards ☺️ take care xx
Hi love your channel! Could you do a video on nutrition and cooking on a budget? Xxx
Max is so funny, little comedy in the background! Yes, to get a man to eat his veggies I am going to look into Thrive Market. I’ve seen it pop up here and there and now I’m curious! Thanks Nisha! ♥️♥️
I love this video, please make more! Also love your recipes!!
Thanks for all the info very helpful. Have been on Vegan diet for health reasons and father of two. I tell you a great Vegan sandwich receipe which is molded after Jimmy Johns is the following. Sliced a few cucumbers, place vegan mayo on your choice of bread, also place some guacamole on the bread, add the sliced cucumbers with some fresh spinach or you choice of lettuce.
You 2 are awesome! Is Crystal’s smile the cure for depression? =D
In canada here: you have to be rich to afford pine nuts…. not sure why. I remember when that wasn’t the case… on same vein: organic and/or fair trade nuts here are very expensive… unfortunate, and I do not exactly know why compared to where PUL lives…
Thank you for providing an actual realistic family grocery haul…. giving me lots of meal ideas….0
I’ve been listening to your podcast for awhile and just stumbled upon your channel, I love it!
Yay, for groceries hauls! Do you have any gluten free meal suggestions? Also have you ever made spaghetti squash?
I can’t wait till you guys post your wedding video on YouTube…
Ha ha you always make me laugh. Thanks for the quick tips 😉
Hi, tried the link for your affiliates for the protein powder but it’s not working 2 days now. How long do they take to deliver for u normally? I’m in Ottawa.
I have recently discovered your podcast and I’m listening to some old episodes I’m enjoying it very much I’m trying to work my way back to vegan for the New year I’m having a little anxiety thinking about meal prepping and planning so hopefully I’ll get everything straight thanks for your insightful tips
I also do have a Favorit type of lentils and I am not even vegan nice video guys, greetings from Austria
Loved this video!! Thank you! If you can list specifically all what you buy at Costco, I’d love to look for them on my next visit..
Hey, das beste sesammus ist von Tahina testet das mal..mhmmm
Have a hard time reaching my calorie goal on veg days. Get so full from all the fiber
I am so glad to see that you posted a video. Your videos are always so down to earth and realistic. I am a mom of two and I work outside of the home also so I appreciate that you always offer easy meal ideas that don’t require a lot of fuss.
Thank You awesome video! But I’ve looked and looked. sorry can’t find the PDF list we talk about. How how I can find the list please?
Wondering what kind of car you have? Trying to research the best vegan friendly car options.
just curious why you keep mentioning “accidentally vegan”. Is there a reason you say that? what is the difference that makes you verbalize the idea of “accidentally vegan”. I’ve been slowly trying to get into a more vegan lifestyle myself. I’m glad you made this video btw. very useful! <3
I will still boycott Daiwa cheese bought out by a pharmaceutical company that tests on animals so for me it’s a big No-No

Im looking to get one and hoping you or anyone else reading has any recommendations.
Thanks in advance.
Hey everyone! Thanks for watching. The stores we went to for this haul (we live in Canada) were: Superstore, Costco and a small health food store called Naked Naturals.
Here is a link to the yogurt jar lids: https://rivierapetitpot-boutique.com/en/produit/plastic-lid-black/
Thanks so much for watching!
You shop well
I’m off to Aldi (and it is pronounced Al DEE)
Sweet chemistry between you two! Learned a lot from your vid.
You guys are awesome! Thanks for the lovely video, it gave me so many ideas. Your girlfriend Crystal is such a ray of sunshine. Has anyone ever said she resembles Mandy Moore? Or Julia Styles!!
You are so amazing and I love your videos. It makes me so happy and you inspire me so much. I just recently started watching your videos but now it’s basically the only thing I watch. Thank you
Heading to the grocery this week and this is super helpful! I love that you guys sprinkle in recipe inspiration and nutrition facts! I’m so happy that I stumbled upon your channel!
This girl is a keeper. You couldn’t have found anybody more perfect for you and your personality. She fits your whole persona. So precious. Loved the food haul, guys!
Thank you so much:) this is very useful. Tomorrow i have the opportunity to go out to stock up during the quarantine for my fam… ❤ so far ive been eating vegetable soup or stir fry…
Cherry Tomatoes and donut peaches are so good right now! Have to stop myself from eating them all right when I get home
Love seeing you guys all ways so full of energy and excitement about life, food really does make my day thanks so much wish you all the best
Wow that pasta sauce with the fish oil in it. They need to make that more noticeable for people who are fish allergies!
I’ve followed you on YT for awhile. You make healthy eating accessible, simple and unpretentious.
Bananas are cheap because Chiquita don’t play nice with the producers.
The Explore Cuisine products are incredible. The black bean spaghetti is mega high in protein it’s unreal and it’s very good value for money.
Right on time!! You’re hilarious!! I bought cherry tomatoes and cucumbers so I’m excited to try your cucumber salad recipe!! <3 Btw, your hair is so pretty!! ^_^
Store your nut butters upside down so the oil floats to the top which is actually the bottom. but when you flip it over it helps mixes it for you.
My request has been answered all time FAV video with your recipe videos. I watch so so many grocery hauls everyday. The store is my happy place very lame. Lol. I look forward to your Saturday upload every week!
Now that you’ve seen some of my current favorite groceries, what is the one grocery item you’re loving at the moment?
Why you seem to be such a perfectly sane person?! Much love!
I like cilantro and green onion, I use them every day. But mine tend to wilt. I have done well with putting cilantro in water and then the fridge, but it gets soft. Do you have good storage tips?
Good Morning… My wife and I are on the Lower Mainland here by New West station. After our stretching session this morning with some Finger Eleven, we are heading up to our local produce store to do some and shopping. We thought it would be interesting to see what you guys picked up. My wife just kept saying during your vid, “That’s what we buy”.
Keep healthy and safe:)
I just bought ur ebook…I’ve been eatting “vegan/vegetarian” one of my snacks is egg white but I usually sub it for some vegan Turkey slices. My problem is…I work in construction, an there’s a season where I get sent out of town for about 4 maybe 5 months work an I stay in hotels… so now I have to figure out a way to cook these meals ♂️♂️♂️…would it be a good idea eatting the same breakfast lunch snack an dinner every day for 2 weeks straight?
I loved how you opened up all your snacks right there and then
What is a good, healthy GLUTEN FREE bread? Can you recommend?
I tried Thrive, I feel like your really limited as to what you can buy from there. They have cool snacks and a couple interesting products, but thats about it. Also, some things are cheaper but others are more expensive so it kind of just balances itself out, so you don’t really save in the end unless you know what to get. If I still have to go to Wholefoods, I don’t see the need to have Thrive. Hopefully one day they have everything, because its actually a cool concept.
Purely Elizabeth granola is the best granola EVER.
Here’s what i said after this video: “God, she’s so good!” and you are. Thought I would share that and thank you for all this great info!
I love your channel but please try to not say “like” every other word it so unnecessary!
Were we live they just rebuilt our Aldi much bigger it’s great. Loved this trying to eat less meat very helpful thanks XX
love these hauls!! hope to see more:) just beginning
my plant based diet and loving all of your information!
You should try making KALE CHIPS with a dehydrator… soooooooo good!! That’s my fav way to eat tons of kale!
Here’s my go-to recipe: https://www.bigoven.com/recipe/cheesy-kale-chips-raw-vegan/1861671
Yeah…but what about protein..lol
Nah u guys are great..will try some of these recipes I’m not vegan I still eat chicken/fish/Turkey mince (no red meat) don’t hate me!! but I do max out on my veg so thanks 4 sharing.
Cute girlfriend! … And she’s in great shape, too … I love to see all those healthy foods on the table … Yes, (healthy) food keeps our body alive and healthy and cooking it and eating it is certainly a healthy source of distraction (you can easily forget your worries when cooking and eating), and of happiness, too. Mostly, if you cook with family and/ or friends, in a harmonious and loving environment (good vibes) … Everything on that table is healthy except the cans (canned food and processed foods, in general, are definitely not healthy) … Where’s the broccoli, guys? C’mon, the most nutritious flower in the world … Mushrooms?… All types of edible mushrooms contain varying degrees of protein and fiber. They also contain B vitamins as well as a powerful antioxidant called selenium, which helps to support the immune system and prevent damage to cells and tissues. It is also good for your gut flora and its texture is great (for those who are transitioning from meat-eater to vegetarian or vegan this is probably the closest texture to meat, in my opinion {I don’t know I haven’t eaten meat for decades) I’m sure you know all the benefits. I love them, mostly steered fried with garlic, olive oil, and parsley with homemade bread… Mushrooms! Mushrooms! Mushrooms! … And garlic…, the day there’s no garlic on the face of the earth, I’ll move to Mars and start a new garlic cultivating colony … Vegan yogurt? … I gotta try that … Anyway, good shopping and I like your exuberant youth (I’m not hitting on your girlfriend … … ) and enthusiasm… I need tofu …
Can’t believe wasted 17 minutes watching 2 adult humans.. showing their grocery
How do style your hair? Method, product etc. Your curly/wavy hair looks great
Hi, Super Thanks for this Video. Decided to go Vegan Today. 2Marrow I go Shopping With my Much Appreciated Food Stamps. You Totally Helped a Newbie Vegan! Lol Will Subscribe. Peace
I’m trying to go vegan (already vegetarian) but I’m on a low budget and I’m not that good of a chef any tips?
I live in the States & there’s an Aldi just a couple blocks away from my home.
I found out years ago that you have to be careful which items you choose there because certain foods taste like straight vomit & there electronic items are disappointing. There clothes are not good either. I am a vegetarian and I wouldn’t go near anything that says tuna or meat flavor it’s just to risky I have shopped at many different Aldi and it seems to be true with them all. I still like Aldi but I am very selective.
Hi Derek & Crystal! Just wondering what brand of Tahini you bought. Keep up the great work!!!
Cilantro in a smoothie = amazing
Avocado in a smoothie adds creaminess and is a good way to use them if they are over ripe (reduce possible waste if they even last that long) this vegan haul is inspiring. Thank you!
Crystal your dress is so pretty and you look amazing in it! Food haul looks amazing too!
Denise
Your grocery store is hella expensive oml. I just got 5 cans of beans for $3 yesterday and you spent $2 on 1 can?
Signing up for Thrive with your link right now! For anyone who has Rakutan (ebates) it works on Thrive too! I love your videos!!!!
Loved the video, would you consider doing a video or Instagram story on how you recommend sanitising the produce.
One thing I’m struggling with being a vegetarian is balancing macros with fruits / vegetables. I understand how I should be dividing up my macro and calorie intake each day, but the problem is working out what each meal contains specifically. How do you know how many grams of carbs / proteins / fats a small potato contains for example? If I want to make a new meal I find it really stressful having to work all these numbers out, and whenever I look up online ‘how many grams of X does a banana have’ I always get different answers. For example there’s a salad I make regularly which is made up of chickpeas, red pepper, red onion, cucumber, lemon, garlic, parsley, olive oil, and quinoa I’ve tried to work out before what the meal totals in calories / macros but it’s such a complicated task, and doing this with every meal 7 days a week seems impossible to manage.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get a better grip on this? I’ve been on the 12 week Cutting Plan for 6 months now and keep cycling between phases 3 and 4 and I love it but I feel the body definition just isn’t quite there, so clearly the thing I’m missing is having the diet under control. I really want to lock it down so any advice would be really appreciated. Cheers!
loved your groceries haul yes love spicy food so, I’ve got spicy red chilles & hot sauces without it meal is incomplete well going to make yummy receipes from your cookbook….
I would like to see your pantry and fridge to have a better idea. It will help us to organize our meals and lifes!, please!!!
All this looks awesome! I make my own soymilk, but I have to say, we’ve been buying oatmilk lately. Thanks for posting this! Love the energy and happiness too!
I really want to go vegan….. For health reasons but its hard but im willing
I have a question about sugar. I understand that it can be processed with bone char making it nonvegan. I get that I should look for organic sugar. But what I have a question about is when I’m buying something packaged, and it lists “sugar” in the ingredients. For example, ketchup, or canned beans that are listed as vegetarian, still have sugar in them. Or salad dressings etc. what kind of sugar can I assume that is? Are those items still vegan? Basically if I see sugar in the ingredient list, is it vegan?
Nice picks I’d love to see how you put them together as meals.
Thanks for sharing:-) Will there ever be a video “ What i eat in a day Crystal version”?! Pleeeeeeeaaaaasseeeeee
I tried being vegan at 7 years old,In my opinion while that time I thought being vegan is the worst but I feel like being vegan is like “different” like I like the meals better and I feel more energized and “refreshed” from the meals I eat daily. Liv your tips helped so much! Usually at the store,my mom and I would get everything separate you know what I mean? Now I’ve been vegan for two years,so basically I’m now 9 years old in third grade. Only one more month until in fourth grade! But being vegan is pretty hard, you can’t eat some of the food items you loved so much before being vegan but your candy tip helped me because I kinda have a sweet tooth♡ Thank you so much Liv!
Your Fan,Jessica Diep♡
Thanks for helping us fellow Canadians. I live in Mississauga, so I’m fortunate to have all the big stores near me and a lot of Indian, Middle-Eastern, Asian and European markets in my area. The food choices are outstanding. I just don’t know what half of it is yet. LOL. Your tahini obsession has me thinking I should have a little competition at work for the best tahini (of course they will have to give me their recipes!).
Lord. Within 12 seconds of listening to this guy’s speech the borders of my soul began to wither. What a sad beg.
Love your videos, plant based for 4 months now and loving it, I feel amazing, you guys made it a lot easier with your content.
Our favorite sauerkraut. Didn’t know Cosco has tofu. I’ll check it out next time at my local Cosco here in Houston. Also just got a bunch of fabric from my mom’s stash and was thinking about making bags. Perfect timing for me to watch you talk about yours to get me making them this weekend! Great video!
Hi
I would like to know how to get rid of gas and bloating in the vegan diet.
I can’t do the vegan diet because of gas and bloating
Watermelon, corn, avocado, soy milk, beans, apple, cauliflower, persimmon, oats, peas, peaches, kale, peanuts, all of this gets bloated
Greetings I’m from Brazil…
Can someone help me find an older buff dudes video that is stuck in my mind? Brandon was in his truck talking to the camera and suddenly someone parks next to him and as they open their door, they hit brandon’s car. Brandon suddenly puts a death stare on and tells them “you wanna watch your door” or something like that. Please i need to rewatch that moment, it’s scared me for life.
does anyone know by what name flax seeds and hemp seeds go by on Spanish? Thank you:)
Hey man! I’m new to the channel (found it/you a week ago). I’m personally on a whole foods journey myself and I’m loving it/have found it slightly difficult. Your channel has eased the difficulty for me. Thank you for what you do putting this content out there for us! Its appreciated!!!
