I buy my organic beets clean put them in water on the kitchen shelf and wait a week when it gives them new life. they grow new leavesI then cut the leaves and they regrow again then after a short while I juice them lovely and crisp. I also grow in garden cutting the leaves every other day. quality

For anybody that is interested in juicing…get a masticating juicer, not a centrifugal one.
To make the beets juice more “drinkable” you can add a cucumber to the juicing recipe, or even better, I buy watermelon, eat the red part, and use the bottom part, the green part and whatever red is left, in the juicing project, which adds a vaso dilator component to amplify the nitric oxide effects of the beets.

The juice is pricey at the store if you’re not juicing. You’re better off getting the dehydrated powdered version at Walmart (near the whey protein). I believe the product is called “Power Beets”. It has a Stevia sweetener mixed into it that makes the product easier to get down.

This is an excellent recipie but it’s very important to give a warning about anyone who is challenged with a congested liver…beets are very high in sugar and have a serious detox reaction to the liver…I recommend half a beet only and peel it…so you have no dirt taste…beet powder does not provided those essential living enzymes…so please beware…start gradually….

It is the fact bro.. for last 3 days I have been having Beetroot juice during WO sip by sip, n this were my one of the best Workouts ever. I usually train for 1, 1.5 hours but i hit 2 hours…n feeling not to leave the gym. ( Also maybe Cannabis effect, also had for first 2 days)

When I saw dr Michael Gregers video on beets then I started to juice them again.
Juiced 2 years ago beets for optimal kidney health. One day, when I drank 500ml in one go.. my body rejected it in a minute or so.. the taste actually wasn’t bad. Tasted like chocolate drink, so I told myself wow it’s like a chocolate drink but my taste buds still started to release a lot of saliva and I got nauseous, I tried to hold it back by massaging my forehead and just hold it back but then I couldn’t handle it anymore and I felt like I had to go to the toilet and the beet juice literally made me vomit like a waterfall from hell and every little piece of liquid came out.. my body didn’t stop until all of the beet juice came out XD.. it was crazy..
now I can drink beet juice only by mixing an entire lemon and two big apples or oranges into a juice of 3 beets, Otherwise it would be too strong.

Brian, the reason for it is that the nutrients in the beetroot juice allow the bloodcells to carry twice as much oxygen then normal, if not more but been careful not to drink to much or you will have vitamin poisining, meaning that you will get to much for certain vitamins and that will give problems down the road.
