LoL I love watching your videos. I call them my confirmation videos. I had just told my sister and husband last month that I was going to make my own gels because soon they will be off the shelves and lo and behold one of my favorite Youtubers popped up with a video letting me know…sis, you better get on it . Thanks for the amazing information as always.
I have a gel cleanser recipe that uses Aristoflex and glycerin. I would like to add a carrier oil to the recipe, would I add the carrier oil to the glycerin then the Aristoflex
Great information. LOVE IT. What’s a good preservative for cosmetic D.I.Y?
Thank you for this Amazing video.❤
Can I use Phenoxyethanol as a preservative along with xanthamgum??? Or any suggestions please
Can you use these to help mica not sink to the bottom in oil or water shimmering body oil or spray?
Is it me or am I the only one that wants to touch it..lol…love the video
really appreciate this series and this video, thank you so much babe!
Yaya you should totally make a DIY gel recipe for us maybe add a higher percentage of ingredients and shows us how to ad oils next time ❤️ I would be so interested in that
Guar gum works better in warm to hot fluids, you will not need to use much with the the right temperature
If I wanted to thicken yo my lip gloss without using polybutylene, can I use Xanthan or guar gum? I know with AVC the oil has to be under 5% and I can’t see my lip gloss having under 5% oil so I won’t use that. Will the Xanthan or guar gum separate if I put more than 5% oil?
I love your tutorials, you are just one of the best on here.
glass jars vibing on the table

Can the gel using xanthan gum be used as lip gloss base??
Woow this is a wealth of information. Thank you so much for this. Is it possible to put these products in aloe Vera or flaxseed or add any other ingredients to these gels to make them better for the health of our hair? Thank you very much

Hey!
Where do you get your information from to even make products? (Research)
Also, where do you get your ingredients from?
I’m thinking about experimenting.
Hi! So I’m noticing the Aristoflex is a little sticky. Any advice?
Hi Yaya! I just recently found out that Lotion Crafters is selling Sodium Carbomer already pre-neutralized so it gells as soon as you mixed it! It seems very inexpensive at least 22$ something for a pound and 4$ something for onzs!
So pleaseeee make a hair gel with it I guess it wouldn’t have a hold but it would be cool to see what sorts of ingredients you add to it and how it gels and compares to these others!!
can you make an african black soap shampoo and conditioner?? ive heard that its beneficial for the hair
Thanks for your patience and your willingness to keep answering the same questions over and over again! We appreciate you and thanks for sharing!
Can you please do a video creating a facial cleanser please!!!!
Hi!! Great video! Your an inspiration ❤️ question, What scale are you using??
Love your diy vids! I might’ve watch all of them in one go! Would love to see you attempt to make a mousse!
How do you measure the percentages like when u say 1% of something how did u know how much 1% is
Can you use it when you wanna thicken up liquid black soap?
Amazing video and could they all be mixed together? And also what’s the best preventatives to use with them?
Awesome video! Can this be used in the mouth, like on the gums? Thank you!
Can you make a video demonstrating how you would use the gel particularly the Xanthan gum in an emulsion?
I’m so curious about where you got your knowledge on how to make professional hair products! I’ve been wanting to make something for myself, but I want to properly educate myself first =)
Hey do you have a recipe or a video making a hair gel using the aristoflex avc? If so which one, if not i would love to see, or any recommendations. I recently received my order from lotioncrafters, i got some aristoflex avc, xanthan gum clear and im ready to make a hair gel but need a good recipe to follow.
I am so glad you uploaded. This isolation has upped my DIY game. You just reminded me. I bought a tiny immersion blender but I still didn’t receive it yet. I forgot all about it.
Wowwwww this is awesome Thank you so much for sharing what you are learning with us
Thanks @yaya this helps alot. I have been trying to incorporate thickeners and this helps.
I have tried using Guar Gum (food grade) a few months ago in a diy product and it did not mix well at all. I thought maybe I did something wrong so I tried it again and got the same results. Now I know I need to purchase either the cosmetic grade of Guar Gum or go straight to Xanthan Gum. Thanks!!!
Girl I hope you become a cosmetic chemist b/c the gems you drop are great.
I have xanthana..gum do used regular water (destilada..)can u make DIY gel…please thanks oxoxox
Can you do one with different types of emulsifiers? Thank you!
Do you think you could actually formulate a vegan lip gloss base? Like a versagel?
Hi Yaya I just bought the gwar gun off of Amazon and I’m wondering would it be better to use the 2% if I use the blender
If emulsifiers keep water and oil from separating, I could use that avc one for this chébé creme that I made for my hair
Question. If we wanted to add more things to it to make a hair gel (or in case for the first one a lotion) when would it best to add the solid phrase since it thickens so fast? Sorry if this is a dumb question.
Would either of these work with aloe vera and alcohol? I want to make hand sanitizer but I want a gel consistency. TIA and thanks for the video.
I really like the clear xantham gum, it reminds me of curling custards and jellies, or even that pre-poo by African Pride. I prefer the stringy, loose texture of it over the solid firm gel you get with the first product but I’ll likely be using all three at some point! I really love and appreciate videos like these, they are so helpful for people who frequently do DIY recipes.
Can we use gaur gum as a thickner in a organic dishwash liquid, is any other preservative required for it’s life
Yaaaaaa wondered where you been?!! Now back to showing us more amazing products!
oh thank you yaya i’ve been on a diy roll because of the rona and you videos are the best
Hi, I love your videos. I find that mixing xanthan gum with glycerin first, before adding the water makes the gelling process, smoother and faster.
Hello love your video. Can you please tell us what preservative you used in this video for the demonstration.
If you were making a gloss, could you replace the water with an oil for all of these
Love your videos.
It’s like to see if possible if maybe you could make edge control?
Enjoyable content, i cant wait to watch your next video, good work
Hi Yaya, could you please make another video using your more natural ingredients?
like another hair moisturizer using (varisoft, And i think you used ritamulse too) Thanks!!
THANK YOU FOR 50K SUBBIES! ✨ Huge Giveaway Coming soon!
I Love you guys! And I also miss you all! I promise to be more consistent. I have had to slow down creating videos due to fulfilling orders and other huge projects I am working on for you guys. I wouldn’t trade this for anything and I hope I can continue to bring you all quality content over quantity.
Can you do a part two with the same ingredients but higher percentage? I’m really curious how much it gel up. Thank you
Can this be used as a moisturizer? And can I add essential oil? Thank you ❤️
Thank you for the video. The ratio of water to guar gum is not clear. Can you give an idea of what that should be? Thank you
You’re insane, the gums literally CAUSE them. I have to avoid them and they’re in everything.
