I bought a treadmill today for QR 3000..And as a complete beginner,I did it at a speed of 3.5 for 30 minutes..But the screen was not showing any calories burned..Do I need to work out more or is there any setting to be made?
It might not burn 1000 calories but the sweating after the work out says how effective the work out is..I have not lost any weight but my pants are fitting better and I feel lighter.

I usually do same workout after my weight training..I burn 114 calories in 11 mints running..1.30 mints slow walk like 2.5 mph and 7 or 8mph 30 sec sprint..

Never do high intensity running on a treadmill! It just sucks! You wont reach 100% intensity and going from 0 m/hour to 9 is very risky to hurt yourself. HIIT running is perfect but don’t do it on machines. Do it outside.

what to do when I workout at home and my treadmill´s max speed is 12 km/h that is approximately 7.45 MPH? is it enough? I found it weird cause I used to run for an hour at that speed….an now I´m suposed to take it as a spinting speed?
Guys, I love Hanna but she is doing HIT in a very very wrong way….. This is all about giving your best for 15-20 seconds, and then rest for the double or even triple the amount you run. If you do what ahe does, 20 sec on and 10 off, you will never be able to give your best.

after doing this workout every day or every 2 days when legs are good for 2 months now
can now sprint with moderate level HB after every 45 seconds,
can now complete a full mile without break at 13 min or 10 min mile but with 2 30 second break each
you cannot possibly loose 1000 cal running on treadmill for 20 mins……it is impossible even if you have an intensely high metabolism…….if the human body could loose that much in 20 mins the person who lost it would more than likely end up in a coma due to insulin and hormone spikes. at the very least would end up having to be put on a drip and oxygen.
at best you burned 150 cal and that is being generous.

Longer time running has much more health benefits: your blood is pumped to your entire body including your brain for longer time… 45 minutes at 6 MPH. And incline 3 can protect your knees! Interval running is good if you are training for combat sport.

I started off with a 4mph walk to warm up, then I did 7mph for half of the time left and 7.3mpb for the other half. On the final run I did 8.5mph.

no one can maintain a high intensity speed effectively and consistently for 30 seconds and worst, for 5 reps. There is a reason the 100m is called the 100 Meter Sprint and why they don’t call the 200m a sprint. I would suggest using a hiit zone between 10-15 seconds.

Could you guys tell me how much calories y’ll burnt? I’m a non workout person and found this way too easy. Burnt 270 calories. Surely I’m doing something wrong? In the last 4 rounds I ran at 12 speed. Maybe my treadmill’s 12 speed isn’t really 12mph?
I just do 2 min walking at 3.5-4.0, then 1 min run at 8-9. Do that cycle about 6-8x. You can mess with the incline to change the intensity. Start at level 2 and work your way up to 6.

What am I doing wrong, it says the workout is 24 minutes but it says 30/30 so 1 min per exercice, 4 exercises make 4 minutes per round and there are 4 rounds so 16 min?

It’s impossible to burn 1000 calories just running on the threadmill on and off for 20 minutes. Also the information you provided about the EPOC is very false in terms of numbers. During the thermogenic effect maximum calories you can only burn maximum of 50 calories, not 1000. This is not HIIT, because you are standing/walking for literally half of the video. First of all, it’s a great workout. It makes you sweat, quick and dope music. Sure it might not burn 1000 calories (of course) since that’s impossible in a short amount of time but she said this burns calories all day long. It’s a great workout once or twice a week when I don’t lift weights! It’s not the most intense either so it’s perfect.

I’m sprinting at 7 mph I have to consider my short legs, I’m a newb, and a female.
I do 45 sec sprints (10spd) then 90 sec walk (3.5spd) | 5 rounds.
Will definitely try this tomorrow! I love getting stronger and hate cardio so all i do in the gym is lift weights, i’m 122kgs but i wouldn’t call myself “unfit”, i can still do 15 pushups with good form and 5-6 chinups. I’ve been in one of those perpetual bulks haha, never got to the cutting part because cardio always seemed boring:( BUT seeing you talk me my way through it seems extremely interactive. I’m sorta competitve so i can hype myself seeing someone do it with me. I will do this at the same pace you’re doing it at one day, that’s my goal now:) Thankyou so much. It might’ve been just filming and putting up a single workout session for you but the effect it has had on me is that it’s 2 in the morning and i’m excited for cardio that’ll i’ll be doing in the evening FFS

Hi I am a 11years old I do this workout what should my max speed be?
I did this and got a bit of a sweat on. Went maxed out on my treadmill at 12 and down to 7 on the rest. My home treadmill is quite basic so I’ve no incline so I wanted to not rest at a stop to up the workout. This makes tredmil running far better. I hate just running watching the minutes go by. It’s torture. This is more what I like. I hope to do more. Thanks.

I honestly don’t care how may calories this workout burns. I did it today and loved it! (7.3 speed,.5 1 incline) Working out on the treadmill with a mask is super difficult. The 90 sec rest helps alot. Can’t wait to do this again.

I tried it for the first time and completed it. I couldn’t do it at 12 but i got to a good 9.5. I haven’t sprinted anywhere in years. Those breaks are just enough to recover but by the time you get to the 5th set you definitely feel it. Hopefully i can do this at least twice a week.

Disappointingly, I only did half of this work out at the gym. After the treadmill, I felt energized and I went into the little studio the gym has to do my HIIT. Tell me whyyyy two people come in as soon as I put my timer on. The first person went on into their workout groove. The second was facing me, doing their workouts and when they would rest, I could feel them staring. I just couldn’t finish with that, so I left. I will conquer tomorrow.

AMAZING workout. I pushed myself and on the last rep I was smiling. I didn’t think I could do it but I did! This workout is great I’d recommend it to anyone! I had a cramp by the end and he said if you have a cramp you know you pushed yourself and I just felt so great!

I do 6mph incline at 5 for 32 mins go up too 8mph for another 2 mins then backdown to 6mph for 1 min recovery so a run for 35 mins
My other workout is 8mph incline at 3 for 20 minutes then down to 6mph for 5 mins
When I started in January I lasted 2 mins at 8mph and 6 mins at 6mph and being asthmatic as well I go on about 3-4 times a week

I do this as my warmup for 10 minutes include lunge back kicks and side squat pulse 5repX5sets. Then I run half a mile 4 sprints for 30 sec follow by a final half mile run. Omg it’s so Amazing! Doing this twice a week for three weeks straight I have dropped down 4 sizes.

As a rule of thumb, you should be at least bent double preferably slightly nauseous during the rest phase ;).
My gym’s treadmills max out at 12 mph, so I HAVE to use incline to bridge the gap!

My sole 77 treadmill at it’s top speed of 12 is about max for me anyway at age 65. She may be faster in a sprint than me but I don’t think 50% faster. So when I do a 60 yard sprint in the nearby park, she would do 90 yards? Possible but doubtful. Who makes a treadmill that goes up to 18mph?
I did this and got up to 10.5mph with a 3 degree incline, thought my legs were going to give out but I’m gonna keep doing it! And try to improve! Bye bye belly fat

Here’s a better way to do it. I’m only 14 and this is the workout I do for treadmill hiit. Basically I do 10 minutes with 30 second intervals. Warm up isn’t included btw. Warmup can be whatever you want.
So for the hiit workout I run 15km per hour for 30seconds then rest for 30 seconds until the 10 minutes is up. I lose around 5002000kj in the following hour and then it continues increasing. I use my Apple Watch series 5 and it’s honestly really easy. If I can do it so can you
