I have been wanting to start a bullet journal for a year but I keep putting it off because I am overwhelmed with the art/bullet journals I see on Instagram and here on Youtube. I love your set up! How did you learn to do the lettering?
This is interesting I actually do this in my bullet journal. I plan ahead and then record what actually happened with stickers and stamps, etc, and I’ll cross out or white out things that didn’t end up happening. To do this, I have to make sure I have room for my to-dos for the day, my planned schedule, and what actually ended up happening. I’ve really been enjoying it!

I switched to swimming, well, paddling really. I wear flippers and hold a floaty board out in front up and down the pool, 3 times a week for 30 or so minutes. My endurance training on the machines was going nowhere (hah!) so to the pool I go.

Your trackers are incredible! I clicked on the video because what I’d seen in the thumbnail looked like a fertility tracker, and this is also my jam (although I find apps more convenient for this purpose than paper). So this was half-true after all, as the image itself turned out to depict your sleep/mood/stress tracker 😉 Which is a great idea, especially beside a diet tracker! You gave me food for thought. I know this system wouldn’t exactly work for me as I’d like to note how much of what I consume, rather than if I consume a certain thing, so this would need to be more advanced, and I’ve no idea how I could measure my stress levels, but this idea is definitely worth trying!

3rd: I LOVED this video on your Bullet Journal. These are the secrets of successful living that every girl around the world needs to hear/know. I’m also wondering if you know about Bio-rhythmns and have any experience with aligning your soul with the magnetism of the Cosmos becoming one with the planets while living in a state of Zen? I’d love to know more about this/that myself on a pratical daily level.

Thank you for talking about the fertility awareness method. Women deserve to know how their body’s truly work and being able to take the decision to go off hormonal birth control without being shamed over “not taking control of their fertile life”. It only takes 7 to 10 days a month of abstinence (or using a barrier method) to feel your absolute best for 20-22 days a month. And this is FREE so we really need to spread the message to women with small or no incomes so that they can take advantage of this magical method as well!

Thanks for sharing! You may want to add a section for tracking your period, sex, gynecology visit, and/ or pregnancy. I feel as women it’s super important to track these things as they are vital to fully understanding our overall health. We should always have a journal or calendar marked with these things so we can accurately communicate about all of it to our healthcare provider. We need to include how we are feeling (irritable, moody, happy, angry, foggy, etc.) during these times, food/drink cravings, sleep, pain level 1-10, medications/ vitamins, etc. How many times and with which partner did you have sex? Protected sex? Did you take a pregnancy test? If your pregnant or planning on getting pregnant….did you take prenatal vitamins, ob/gyn appointment, symptoms, cravings, how are you feeling, etc. Thanks and hope it helps!

I have a fricking food journal (where I add moon cycles, weather, exercise, periods), then I have a regular/dream journal with photos. Then I have a calendar in the kitchen for ‘boring’/everyday stuff.
I started journalling due to excessive food allergies/hormonal/histamine issues to learn of non-allergenic triggers. The power of journalling is real!

a minimal bullet journal…it’s not that uncommon and a LOT of people do it. I’m assuming you haven’t seen the original bullet journal because it’s 100% minimal. no color, nothing. removing the extras doesn’t make this not a bullet journal. you can call it a log book, since you are logging your tasks but it’s still in many ways a bullet journal.

I love how obsessive this is! It’s so interesting and good! I love seeing it on paper. I have lots of little notes, but nothing organized or outside of my brain. This seems very helpful to get it out and onto paper.
Could you make a video on how to make a structured training program for yourself?
Eg. How many exercises for each muscle group, different ways you can set up a split, etc.
What you do in your log book, i do in my bullet journal. Same concept but i still call mine a bullet journal.
How or what do you do when you go into the gym and you have a plan but everyone is using the things you need? A lot of times I run into issues where I have a plan for my training but all of the squat racks are being utilized and so it can mess up my timing between workouts. Do you have any tips on what you would do in this situation?

Love this! I’m a personal trainer and every single client has a printout of their program and they see much more progress than the ones who haven’t followed a program in the past. Programming is so important to see if things are actually working the way they’re supposed to. I personally also follow one, but I think I’m going to start keeping a journal like this because I hate being on my phone while I train as well!

Since you have a background in Olympic Lifting and athletic training (I think?) I wanted to ask what you think about incorporating oly and/or Crossfit into a bodybuilding program or vice versa? I prefer the way I look when I am doing more bodybuilding splits and style training but I enjoy the variety of Crossfit and learning the Olympic lifts because I get bored easily. However, I find I miss having a more sculpted body when I just focus on Crossfit and Oly… thoughts? Ideas on how to incorporate it all? Do I just need to focus or can I do all the things and still progress in being awesome at everything and looking great haha??

I just don’t have the time to fill it in daily/weekly. Is there any methods or ways that I can just do a big bulk of the month in a couple of pages? I can’t seem to find anything like that anywhere! Thanks x

I did however feel the need to point out that while you are correct in that you only have a small window of higher fertility, you can become pregnant at any point during your cycle, including during menstruation. Misinformation is a large cause of unwanted pregnancies, so I thought it was important to write this comment.

Hi. It’s called “lat” pulldown because the main muscle group you’re using is called “Latissimus Dorsi” or “Lats” for short. Get ’em large enough, and you’ll have a V-shaped back:-)

This bullet journal set up is far by the best I have ever seen. I was suffering from moderate and severe depression for 6 and a half months until a couple of weeks ago and now I’m ready to get better. Time was frozen and when i wanted to go back to see what i was doing I simply didn’t have anything to look at and compare. I didn’t have a system, a good one anyways. This system you’ve got is perfect to recover from depression. For the first time in months I feel exicted. Thank you for sharing.

I actually like this idea of a separate notebook for this; I keep track of A LOT of things so it would take awhile and if I’m wanting to see a quick snapshot of a span of time. Implementing this idea TODAY, thanks!!
I love the idea of the log book.. seems so easy compared to the bullet journal but I also love the bullet journal but I am just not good with it yet. Thinking of this winter really working on getting good at both.
Stumbled on this while looking for spread ideas for Feb. Obviously, the cycle piece isn’t useful for my journal, but I learned something totally new that I didn’t expect to hear.:)

I disagree that there’s really a distinction…. I use my bullet journal for everything. I note what I have done, I note what I want to get done, I track my meals, I keep collections of various things. I’m honestly not sure what your distinction is except that you make colorful spreads in your bullet journal but you absolutely do not have to do that. /shrug

Sounds a lot like what one does in rapid logging from the bullet journal concept?? Making notes, to dos and such on daily basis.
I still call mine my bullet journal, but it seems like I’ve turned it into a log book in the past month, and I’m loving it!
