1974 Christchurch commonwealth games. 2 world records. 5 national records. The most exciting race I have ever seen. Live. AND WON BY A FRONT RUNNER. great to be in the stadium that day.
Came here after watching Polygon’s Overboard of Codenames. Thanks Pat!
Waonge vile wataongeawakenya tutadominate for ever….Kenyans will remain to dominate
this is so inspiring!! I want to become a professional race walker!
Gf: ‘I heard you were in the Olympics, what sport did you do?’
Him: ’Walking’
I have just run half marathon…. zero training.
95 kg in 2 Hours and 12 minutrs
Mo Fara is not even close to make that list, how are you not going to include SAID AOUITA, CARLOS LOPEZ, ABEBE BIKILA SEBASTIAN COE, STEVE OVETT and you are gonna put Mo Farah in IT, Are you kidding meeeeee are you crazy
Great video beautiful outlooks. https://www.fiverr.com/teddyramo911/write-slogans-or-taglines-with-a-detailed-description
Where are the women? Love these guys but women deserve a list too
Americans discover sports other than football and basketball
I honestly wish it was 20 celsius in texas bc its way too hot here like 20 is hella cold
i expect Abebe Bekila will be in the list he won marathon on barefoot do u thonk that??? and Miruts Yifter in honorable mention but still top 2 Ethiopia and the goat Bekele
1st is Eliud kipchoge
the stonger man of the word
42km of wr record 2:00:39 of Marathon…….
NOTHING IMPPOSIBLE IN THA WORD
Very nicely done hard to disagree with this list, and I’m sure we all have our favorites that were not ranked high enough or only made the honorable mention list. I highly encourage you to do a list of top MIDDLE distance runners of all time. Keep up the good work………
If you pause the video you can always see at least one person with both feet off the ground
Why did they let him fall 3 times cause he is a real azz nigga
I enjoy watching this sports I get to laugh but I can tell its hard
Guys this Video is from june 2016!
Bekele ran 2:03:03 in september 2016, just check the description:)
I think my Marine Corps Drill Instructor was a race walker because that guy could WALK
I really don’t get it why Kipchoge is listed above El Guerrouj, even after he ran a sub 2 hours so called marathon. Just because he beat him in 2003 world championship?
The first populated country on earth(Ethiopia)
The only country not to be colonised in Africa(Ethiopia)
The country having the best endurance runner(Ethiopia)
The country that has a god, yes a god leading them(according to Jamaicans (Rastafarian’s))
Just a country to be happy to come from
0:25 Another roofer was working in front us and he was trying to keep up with us. I never seen someone having exhaustion like that. He was was so tired he couldn’t get out of the cherrypicker. Ad he was shaking. I actually felt sorry for that guy never seen that in my life.
Oh bitch if I lock up before they finish!…you bet not touch me let crawl, role, whatever to finish
The number 1 model is BEAUTIFUL. Of course, they are all beautiful though.
GUYS NO LIE EVEN ASK MY FrIEND Keira irwin on INSTAGRAM BUT HE CAME TO OUR SCHOOL TODAY!!!
I think that Abebe Bikila should be on the list, only athlete to defend the marathon on consecutive olimpiads
Ethiopian dominance Bekele and G.silasie is the Goat
Edit: respect kipchoge for breaking the 2 hour in marathon
2:00
Data is accurate?????
2nd fatest 1.500 time ever????????
Adut has an amazing presence and is so freaking outetworldly beautiful but I don’t think her walk is anything special. She walks down the runway like I walk down the street
Steve Prefontaine would have had a world record in the 5000 meters if he did not die too soon at only 24. The 1976 games would have been legendary if he was alive to compete against his rival Viren.
Why is no one talking about imaan? Her complexion’s so pretty too
Switch haile to the greatest distance runner and switch kenesia bekele into 2
i bet the chinese government bought this sport to be in the olympics so that they could have more medals
how did adut get number 1!!! she’s had a good walk but it’s nothing compared to Imaan and Kaia. the way Kaia and Imaan move their legs on the beat is so good but adut is just a basic good walk nothing special.
where are the 2 greatest Ethiopian Athletes? The marathon king, Abebe Bikila and the gear shifter, our great Miruts Yifter?
I think you have done a deservice to one of the greatest distance athletes Hicham El Guerroji. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5TETCM_j7E
What a silly event. Cancel all race walks. It’s just unnatural.
Omg
Teddy, you are amazingly beautiful incredible walker and transgender holy crap…
# goals
guys that walk this get 5 time more pus than the typical chad that goes to the gym.
WHERE Is ZERZENAY TADESE? He’s a gigantic marathon runner for real
Where is Carlos Lopes from Portugal? If Frank Shorter and Wilson Kipsang have honorable mentions, Carlos Lopes deserve it more. He was the last european defeeting africans in cross-country, with 3 titles!.. World record in marathon (first man under 2:08), got a time under world record of 10k (but second after Fernando Mamede), and he was olympic champion in marathon in 1984, with olympic record witch last until 2008…! In 1984 Games, Frank Short said about him: “Lopes appered on last 5k in marathon, and nobody in olympic history could have go with him”… Shorter shows respect… you should included Carlos Lopes in honorable mentions… The rest of the video is very good and I agree with everything.
Kaia Gerber is overvalued, what does she have that the others don’t? For me it is a common model: /
For me.. Every one of them.. Is a Legend… HUGE RESPECT FROM INDIA
Does anyone remember the French teacher in the movie Wild Child? He would be great at race walking
Just one query please define distance running? You have stated that this is from the mile to the marathon yet nowadays (since the beginning of the modern Olympic era anyway) the 1500m (some 110 metres shorter than the mile) is also recognised as ‘distance running’. I looked forward to your response. Incidently, Nurmi and Zatopek are certainly legends and set standards for others to try and match as did Bikila, Gebrselassie and El Guerrrouj. Curious to note that the Australian Ron Clarke, who, at one stage, held every distance record in the world in the ’60s (not including the marathon), is not mentioned. He competed at the ’68 Olympics and was beaten by the altitude.
Agree with your list but you didn’t mention that Gab is the only person to run sub 4 min mile in 3 different decades! And now Kipchoge may pass him post Vienna, but different timeline!
Sora and Adut were born to be models. They’re so mesmerizing!
Why am I expecting these runners to blow up right before they cross the finish line?
Bekele and Kipchoge have since strengthened their spots on this list, and like will continue to do so
Awesome video… Pls keep making such fabulous videos
Thank u
Again, all sports should be done naked…or it just isn’t a sport!
Serious question. If one falls and gets assistance do they get disqualified? I mean, others finish without help right? Safety being paramount I understand the need to provide medical assistance but does that disqualify you from the race? Even if someone just so much as helps you get back on your feet? Again, serious question because I’ve never participated in an actual sponsored race or official event.
lol this is laughable, how on earth could you place Denis Kimetto ahead of Eliud Kipchoge? Just because he holds the current WR doesn’t make him the goat, Kipchoge almost matched his WR on a much tougher course in London and also won gold at Rio. Also where is Kenenisa Bekele, surely he must be top 3.
Ever wonder… they’re wearing running shoes…. that’s why they got records.ask them to run bearfoot..like what abebe bikila did!
Lol this background music is so intense and it made the video so horrible and not fun to watch. Fucking losers
When you realize any sport can make it in the olympics as long as enough wealthy people participate in it….
No music needed and the editing is sloppy. Otherwise they’re good clips.
Prefontaine as number 10 from the first list? Pre was great, but I really get the feeling that the people who made that list could only think of nine and just thought of a name.
The music destroys thiswhy not have the actual commentary.
Running bearfoot in a marathon no one ever ferformed…abebe bikila the greatest of all time
Warum, muss man sich so ins Ziel quälen? Lieber nicht über seine Grenzen gehen.
Oh my god this bothers me so much, btw most of the clips are from Brazil and in the begging the man talks in Portuguese!
How could his 10k pb be 25;46 is the world record is 26;17?
AT 5:34
Sorry to say that but Wang Zhen actually looks like he’s cheating by jogging 10:08
Okay so how do they determine when the difference between walking and running is
What a bullshit “sport”, they acknowledge that both feet are coming off the ground and its up to the discretion of the judges. So they can literally decide who wins through warnings and disqualification.
Wow! Thanks for the video Vox.
The “walkers” must destroy their hips AND their knees AND their ankles……
Please say that they do not.
Small taste of the latest marathon of Athens
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZCirE8pp3w&t=190s
Don’t agree with your list as they were all great in there running time frame you can’t be a fair judge when your list spans almost 100 years track surface training methods special diets travel time to events
When you´re on a fashion catwalk but your girlfriend says she´s home alone…
This is an excellence ranking. Kenesisa Bekele full of greatness.
Guy at #5 dominated an era where people of color wasn’t allowed to run in Championship races
A walking sport would be best done on an endurance level of how far you can go until everyone else drops out.
Walking is great, but it’s much more of a patience activity. Running, you can’t think as much, if you’re really pushin’ it, and it isn’t as accessible immediately, but you can always just stroll anywhere!
what a stupid guy.I think you are enemy of Bekele/You don’t like him.He is the first and the best long distance athlete on the earth. No one better than him.You rancked them based on their best time so where is Bekele who clocked 2:03:03@44th BMW Berlin Marathon(2017).I guess you may need comment because of you jumped him
I bet there was a little jogging then switches to race walking.
I wonder if someone like Eulid kipchoge would beat them in a race walk or if they’re more specialized for race walking then him
kaia gerber is one of the few models that made their way through nepotism but actually managed to be different and is actually really good at catwalks
Ok that’s cool and all, but how about a more stylish Race Walk. I call this Race Moonwalk where the competitors moonwalk their way to the finish line behind them and the fastest moonwalker is given the title The Next Michael Jackson
0:11 10. Anok Yai
0:53 9. Teddy Quinlivan
1:37 8. Faretta
2:17 7. Cara Taylor
2:54 6. Sara Choi
3:50 5. Yasmin Wijnaldum
4:33 4. Luna Biji
5:17 3. Kaia Gerber
6:25 2. Maam Hammam
7:22 1. Adut Akech
I completely agree with the list, Kenenisa Bekele is the greatest distance runner of all time!
This happened to me on a 25km trail right after going up a really steep hill. Only 500m from the finish line. Utter and complete fatigue, inability to think, loss of senses and loss of balance. Some guy saved me by giving me a an energy bar, it helped me finish but god was it hard…
I just can’t help but keep looking at their knees slightly bending out and wonder how does that affect them?
I can’t resist a giggle at the ‘wobblies’ but fair play to them at least they have had a decent crack at a very long distance. Me I would be in that state after 1 mile never mind 26.
I love running so much. Bc sometimes it totally sucks, and thats when you really need to try.
How do you walk a mile faster than I can run it. That is such a huge cognitive dissonance…..
I just tried to speedwalk outside and I done 3.5km in 25 mins and I was exhausted…. They aren’t human… They machines…. Huge respect….
i’ve always wondered why some people walked like this early in the morning at my school to exercise
the sportsmanship of most athletes is pathetic. All those people passing and NONE of them even think to go back and help the crawler get past the line. smh
Thank you for putting such a wonderful and entertaining video together!! I had alway considered Haile Gebrselassie at number 1 given his longevity, amazing number of world records, performances in all distances, track-road racing-xcountry-Olympic performances and being a mentor to Bekele. However, you are making a very compelling argument for Bekele, especially when you factor in his amazing x-country performances.
I am a huge fan and admirer of Kipchoge. However, Nurmi’s incredible performances over all categories would have me place him at number 3 as Kipchoge’s dominance has mostly been at the marathon level. Likewise, I would move Zatopek to number 5 as his performances were more diversified than Guerrouj whose dominance was primarily in the 1500m and mile although his times were very impressive in some of the other categories.
If was also tough leaving out some of the honorable mentions like Ron Clarke and all of his world records and Paul Tergat and his x-country performances. Perhaps they should have gone ahead of Lasse Viren or Peter Snell.
Thanks again for putting together such a well-thought out and thought provoking list. Please continue to put out such fantastic running videos that our both highly informative and extremely entertaining.
Well done!!
I wonder if the finish line was further back they wouldn’t collapse
The announcers said that the guy got injured. How is that possible???
why is no one talks about anok? i will literally cry if i saw someone that gorgeous in person
this happened to me on my track meet today, I gave it my all on the 800m and I collapsed on the last 50m, my legs couldn’t go any further, I would have PRd by a good 10 seconds
its really hurtful when the finish line is within your reach but the legs is already out of juice.
When you are 8 years old, getting out of class with your buds and you have the “first to the lunch-table race” at school but you cant run in the halls
I don’t really agree with the list but they all walk beautifully
Soy triatleta. Temgo 10 años corriendo. He tenido distintas lecciones leves. Pero nunca algo así.
…..I feel messed up, but am I the only one that kinda laughed at these?
Your list is a good one but it focus’s more on the longer distances. It should be called the list of long distance runners. If you looked @ middle distance ie. 800, 1000, 1500 and the Mile then you would get a very different result. For my money the candidates would be Ovett, Cram, Aouita, El Guerrouj, Morceli, and Coe.
Although it’s almost impossible to compare athletes from different eras I guess you have to look @ world records set, Olympic medals, and strengths and weakness’s as a competitive runner. Another factor for me is how much excitement does this athlete generate in his races and therefore athletics overall.
Based on this personally I’d have Coe as number 1 of all timeThe bloke was poetry in motion. Morceli no.2 and Ovett no.3.
Tips to walk like them: walk pelvis first, shoulders rolled back, rather than swinging arms back bring shoulders back, and when you walk make sure to stomp your foot
Guys, could some one tell me what shoes they wear please? Are walking shoes different to jogging and gym shoes? Can anyone recommend an actual type / style and brand please?
Cheers
heloo, can i use your video on my TV Program channel? i am a one of the creative team at TRENDING TRANS7
and of course your channel youtube’s name will published too
i’m waiting for your feedback, thank you..
Nothing is worth accomplishing unless people have died trying to do it.
Dont forget to Khalid Skah, one of the bets ever in trak, cross and half
I like that part when the guy says ” nuptumdawalla bum but bum Lu watts humdawer”
That’s obviously not good for your body. A person would be better off lifting weights, eating a good meal and resting. Build up, don’t tear down!
Maybe next time these people should prep and condition better. Everyone I run with knows their limits and knows when to call it quits. I’ve never had to struggle to finish since I know I’ve trained properly and dieted correctly. I wouldn’t risk dieing over something like this
I didn’t know mamma walking (otherwise known as the “get out of my way I have to pee” walk) was a sport
These are amazing human beings best of breed in all regards amazing athletes. Just shows us our human potential. Race on!
If it isn’t for an Olympic medal or a world championship medal then screw it.
No matter how bad life gets, I will NEVER be a long distance runner!
That was awesome. Great video. Can’t believe I missed it earlier. Your list is sooo well thought out…..difficult to compare the years when distance running was principally a northern European sport, to the years of Africa and Asia competing. But you did it well.
Kenenisa Bekele clocked 2:02:59 when he crossed the finishing line. Berlin Marathon Organizer sucks big time.
Morons, if you are really pushing your body to the limits like this you won’t be a winner, but a pain in the ass.
A list that does not include an athlete that won an Olympic marathon barefoot in Rome and defended his title in Tokyo (he did it after having a surgery to remove his appendicitis three weeks before the race), should not be taken seriously! Honestly!
not hating but i genuinely don’t understand who made this a sport and how it got to the olympics
Sora Choi and Jennie Kim (from BLACKPINK) both look like they bouta eat a bitch out
You guys like see people suffering like this from running? Just watch me run 1 min full speed, I just die.
Has no one seen Malcolm in the Middle? There’s a whole episode where Heisenberg gets obsessed with it and beats a rival by filming him and proving he takes a foot off the ground once every 3 steps!
Hey bro what are you doing this Sunday? I am going for a longwalk.
Rather have the commentary, please get rid of the Godawful music:/
I learned about race walking from malcolm in the middle anyone else
I always thought they would make like a 200 m sprint or something like this but not like 20 km
It triggers me that the runners didn’t stop to help the people like clearly something was wrong
At first I thought this is a grandma sport but now I see this is complex as duck
You know what does duck mean, right?
We did mini olympics at my school and everyone had to choose a certain number of events and at last one in the “running” category. Everyone who did not ant to run, me included, chose race walking and none of us prepared for it but we all walked exactly like them naturally lol. Btw I was third in that race
When you cover the top half of the screen it looks like they are running/jogging. For example: 1:46
This sport should be scrapped. It’s embarrassing. Name one sport where a competitor could naturally do it much better, but deliberately chooses to handicap themselves.
2:44
Wait a second, there is a turkish guy who yells “Aferin Oğlum. Aferin Oğlum” in the audience
I didn’t even realize that their cadence is actually pretty fast!!
Me and the boys when the teacher says no running in the halls
If u set the playback speed at 1.75x it actually looks like they’re walking
I’m putting my money down on Kenenisa retiring as the WR holder for 5k, 10k & Marathon. He can do it which will be absolutely awesome.
You forget about Samuel wanjiru person who 3-time break world record in half marathon + Olimpic champion in marathon in 19 years
I stood up and I started feeling dizzy. And my legs started like shaking alot and I fell. I was fine after tho.
#1 should be Haile Gebrsellasie, Emile Zotopek should be 3rd
This is soooooo stupid. Why the hell do people risk death just to get to that sodding stupid finish line
You should update this with Eliud and Bekele’s performances.
My hate for Yasmin is so real she walks like an animated character. Why do her shoulders move so much? Is she dancing? Why would she be on this list?
Me when the late bell is about to ring but I’m still on the other side of the hall
Farreta walks like a queen bee, Sora walks like an assassin, and adut walks like a queen❤
I do respect the athletes, but I can’t be the only one who thinks that this “sport” is completely dumb. I run cross country and track and I know how hard speedwalking is, but I just don’t respect this as a legitimate sport.
Idk the walks of 90ies models have charme & fun even if they where over the top sometimes. These kids just look sad & traumatised
I’ve tried a walking race before. One of them would literally slow briefly to give me tips as he lapped me, since he was so far ahead of the actual competitive walkers. Its not really exhausting like people on here think it is. At our pace we can’t move fast enough to need to pant, at their pace they’ve had to train all day every day so they’re obviously in far better shape than one would need to jog at that pace. I did end up with the strangest combination of sore muscles, however. And it is incredibly difficult as far as technique goes, even as a pole vaulter I found it difficult to manage to successfully execute the tips given. For beginners it can be reasonably difficult to not break the rules which demand things like one foot be on the floor at all times, and I forget a number but possibly to do with not bending knees and the like. If one is trying to walk at a fast but non-race pace it isn’t too difficult, but the moment you start to race it gets tricky. But since they’ve likely spent tens of thousands of hours or more exclusively race-walking its second nature to them. Like with most events (pole vault included) you’ve done the same activity so many times that it can sometimes be harder trying to avoid thinking about what you’re doing, like breathing its easy until you start to think about what you’re doing.
does anyone knows why they didnt have any medals in the podium??
This is a case of “the mind is willing but the body is not.”
Most people say this sport is a joke
But these people practice as hard as other sport with the same determination
They can walk 11 kilometers per hours! That is way faster than I can run (8km)
Edit:and it is probably faster than you can run
If I was in the middle I would pretend to walk but actually run
This music choice is so damn epic… crazy finishes… getting tired just looking at this
My video started buffering at 3:25
I really wanted the guy to hold on
now when someone says i walk weird i can just say im practicing race walking
lol……ive seen a race walking competition team on a run(walk)
This is how I would run after sitting on the toilet for more than 15 minutes.
Other then skeleton they don’t seem to have anything I body
God…am I the only one who felt the first few models in this list were robots who had absolutely no charisma of their own?
Just help them before finish line please ‘n peace. Take care ‘n God Bless:D P.s. John 14:6 because He’s the only Way to Heaven indeed amen. Maranatha!
Viren he fell down at the back of the pack and won the gold in 10000.
I totally agree, when it comes to distance running no one can match the caliber of Bekele. I couldn’t think of anyone else who is more perfect for distance running than him. His running style, his cadence, his running strategies, it’s a pleasure to watch all those qualities wrapped up in a single man……..it’s too bad he was held down with injuries and we missed the remaining years of his career……
I personally don’t think that their walks are so extremely beautiful
You have a mistake in 5:36
You wrote 10000= 25:46 instead of 26:46
Damn!! Adut just makes all the clothes pop. Such beautiful, clear melanin
I’m sorry and I hope everyone is ok but in the beginning when they were talking about injuries I was dying
So you are telling me that walking is an olympic sport and Taekwondo I.T.F and Kyokushin Karate arent?
I love the hint of a smile on Imaan’s face.. why does everyone else look so pissed!
The only thing which me and Bekele the great have in common or share is birthday…
I find it mildly interesting that the Italian on the thumbnail looked like he’s making a pose.
1. Bekele
2. Gebrselassie
3. Kipchoge, Nurmi, Clark
4. El Garrouj, Aouita, Zatopek
5. Morceli, Kamwowor, Komen
6. Tergat, Cheptegei, Kipsang
7. Bikila
8. Farah
9. Lagat
0. Keino
Frankly speaking, I wouldn’t really feel proud if I got first in this race
I don’t agree with this list because Aouita should be included in the top 5 distance runners with Kipchoge, El Gerrouj, Bekele and Haileselassie, he broke multiple times the world record of 1500m, 1mile, 3000m, 5000m and was dominating all races from 800m to 10000m, he used to outstrip the other runners by one lap and sometimes by two, i don’t understand how you did not see him as one of the greatest, Morceli also should be in top 10 because he is still now the top 3 and top 5 fastest runner of all time in 1 Mile, in 1500 and in 3000m.
10. Kip Keino Kenya 1500m 1968 OR 1972 3000m Steeple Gold WR
9. Peter Snell 1964 800m/1600m double
8. Lasse Viren Finald 1964 and 1968 5/10 double

The will of man is what drives people to this kind of self-inflicted-abuse of their bodies in the name of a “victorious” finish…In retrospect, these slappy’s would prolly not carry on in the same pitiful display,in which they conducted themselves here/there!Heh heh
i love race walking before when i was in the track n field team tho
So you’re saying there IS a possibility that I could go to the Olympics?
I can’t even really wrap my head around how hard this must be, but why walk a seven minute mile when you can run one in 4 or less.
Dude your ranking is not consistent. If you’re basing it on times, then Kenenisa Bekele should be somewhere up there. If its based on the overall performance during one’s career, Eliud Kipchoge is without question the greatest of all time.
I know the feeling when you just loose every control over your body.
Incredible amazing! Naomi the best catwalk modeldon’t like her attitude that much but, she’s an icon.
Pathetic! There have been many marathons where 2 or 3 runners are literally sprinting-neck and-neck for the finish. None of them are on this list.
A pleasure to watch, thank you. Nice that you place oldies like Nurmi, Zatopek and Lasse Viren in it. I would have give Bikila a place. But saying that, I don’t have a clou for whom:), they were all great runners.
They shouldn’t be wearing a “running” shoes then. Hehe

TOP 10 MOST FAMOUS INDIAN MARATHON RUNNERS OF ALL TIME
We have all watched and marveled at “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag”, applauding the dedication of the brilliant athlete Milkha Singh. But our country has produced several gems within the going for walks area over the years. We bring to you, the pinnacle 10 runners from India of all time. These are names that deserve to pass down in history books. We would like to point out that the criterion for the choice turned into recognition and no longer overall performance.

Lol when you’re late to class, and the teacher is watching you.
Yasmin is different. I love love sora and adut fuck she looked like a fairy in that white dress. I was so mesmerized by her.
They all look like they have the “runs” and are trying to get to the toilet before it’s too late
Adut Akech all day everyday she’s a star!!!!!!! Legend in the making
I don’t know why I’m watching a video of ppl walking but music is good
Omg that white graphic liner on Anok tho!!!!
Stunning!
I doesn’t only look weird but it’s super painful. I did race walking on high school and honestly it’s the most painful sport I’ve practiced so far.
Bekele is great…but he will be THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME without question when he defeats Kipchoge in a marathon head to head…He owns Kipchoge in all the other distances head to head, except the marathon….Bekele is 0-4 so far…. Kipchoge is the greatest marathoner of all time….my opinion, of course.
Grace elizabeth and Bella Hadid deserve to be on this list. Grace has been graceful enough to be a top model and bella has improved so much on the runway, she become one of the best walkers.
Anok Yai the first model shown literally has the most elegant and beautiful walk I’ve ever seen tbh. Adult Akech also has such a beautiful walk
Theres no question Bekele is the Greatest runner of all time. Not just the 5 & 10k records, cross country championships, & amazing marathon times. But also the length of his dominance. I mean he just ran 2:01:41 @ 37 years old! And he’s still not done. He says he’s going for the full & half marathon world records this year! We may need to add some more accolades to his list.
Flight time is almost impossible to avoid and impossible to be fairly judged throughout a whole race.
Wow I see cara taylor in toons of shows and love her walk! Why she doesnt get the recognition she deserves
Imo should’ve been top 15 to include geoffrey kamworor, roger bannister, abebe bikila, steve prefontaine, and daniel komen
Sometimes you hold tha shit….sometimes the shit holds you oida
Actually I initially setup in my mind that he should be the GOAT in the long running history and started watching this video. Counting from 10, he should not be come earlier but at least he should be come after 4th place. Fortunately he is the no. 1. Yes that is KENINSA BEKELE. He is my favourite.
2:57 proud yg stan here. she’s truly mesmerizing. Her walk is so elegant and amazing. She’s really wonderful.
Adut is so beautiful. The first time I saw her I was like damnn how can someone be this beautiful ❤️
I saw Viren win in Montreal twice. He ran a 1’55” last 800 to win the 5k. I also like Emil Puttermans should have made the honorable mention.
No one will EVER duplicate Zatopek’s 1952 Helsinki Olympic Triple. He won the 5,000, 10,000 and marathon golds, all in Olympic record times. Before leaving for the Olympics he developed a gland infection and his doctor told him he shouldn’t go. It was his first marathon. He had never run more than 15 miles. The Africans have tried to duplicate this triple, and couldn’t. Even if they ran the three races they couldn’t win all golds in OR times. Impossible today.
thats wright but where is abebe bikila? and no one is like kenenisa
I would say that Adut and Bella Hadid are the fiercest top models right now. Adore Sora Choi and Anok Yai too.
It’s crazy how much Adut looks like Lupita Nyong’o. They could be sisters! So beautiful
There is no marathon runner on this planet who is better than Eliud Kipchoge as of December 2019. And it may take time to get another runner to outsmart Kipchoge.
Adut and anok are very high fashion, other girls walk like ponies with no character in my opinion
The number one in this list lost every single marathon where he competed against the number three in this list, and he is still the greatest ‘distance’ runner of all time. Odd, very odd.
sänd Wang Zhen wins gold for China in the men’s 20km race walk in Rio 2016. på c more och viasat
Yasmin’s walks it my fav, Because I think that the current style of walking is like taking a hanger to show clothes It’s not lively It doesn’t present clothing. And I also agree that on some stages she walks a lot with her shoulders but I think she is the right way.
Respect for the people that collapse during workouts and marathons
Ron Clark was probably one of the most unlucky distance runners in history. He dominated for years but could not win Olympic gold. Brilliant against the clock but seemingly choked on the biggest stage. Yes I’m Australian & he was one of my heroes growing up, living only some 120km away. Maybe even a mention of John Landy too. He was actually my late mother’s cousin. He attempted to break the world mile record in my home town of Bendigo, not long before Roger Bannister did. He went extremely close. But that’s history. Your list just emphasised how many, MANY brilliant distance runners we have had.
The commentator’s accent is the most New Zealand thing I’ve ever heard
Adut’s look and attire at 8:06 is why she deserves to be at number 1. wowwwie!
Very nice
But looks like we will never have someone like Naomi again
The footage from 1:30 shows the race walker with both feet off of the ground many times. Either poor modeling or poor form.
Soufiane el-Bakkali and Consenslus Kipruto at least earn a place in honorable mentions
WOW Adut just left me breathless!!! Her beauty is out of this world!! O:
When the president of the class watching and we dont wear pe
una pregunta, como en cuanto tiempo podrá caminar normal si se sufre un colapso comp estos?
Where is Zeresenay Tadese 5 times world half marathon champion and half marathon world record holder. You should have put him in your list.
I kinda like Yasmin’s, it’s like the 90’s but nowadays the walks are usually don’t look that strong or something which makes her look extra so I guess that’s why she really is wanted
The fashion industry sure likes some extraness or something
