Dude, Rack Pull is for training grip strength and overloading, not for bodybuilding.
Barbell chest press mmh yeah for strenght dumbell for mass. Since you hardly shorten the chest muscle with barbell
Dino bands don’t maintain the same amount of tension throughout the movement so therefore they do not work
i have an issue with strict rows: my lower back starts hurting
If im paying for å gym membership, I can do whatever I want as long as I dont damage equipment and such. If I choose to curl in the squat rack than so be it. When one has advanced in strength, its way more easy to switch plates when the bar is on the rack than doing it from the flor or a preacher curl stand. If im using the rack to curl, so what? its just a gym equipment. Why should I think of others needs when im there to work on my physique?
I give more props to those that have earned the strength and size by working hard and curling on the squat rack, rather than the modern gym folks that hog the squat rack for 1 houre, doing 50 sets of glutes, deadlifts, and press movements while looking the same all year…

Don’t curl in the squat rack https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCxBg8ywQgQ. I feel as long as the weight your curling exceeds any fixed weight barbells and if you can do a plate your good, as long as the gym isn’t busy. Also if your doing super setting with some heavy barbell rows, FREE GAME.

As for the best exercises to bulk up, those 5 ( and their respective variations ) should do the trick for most people: squats, deadlifts, bench press, pull ups, chin ups. And as someone else said, lifting heavy, or progressively heavier, is paramount for sustained results

If a newbie doesn’t have the mobility to squat a** to grass squats and BTN Presses, then wouldn’t it be more effective to work on mobility and proper positions in the squat and BTN, first before moving to weight? Why do we have to completely avoid the squat and the BTN Press?
I use basu ball squats to increase balance and stability in my lower body. I especially did them during recover after a broken leg
The other day I went to the gym (which has two squat racks) one person one doing bicep curls, the other was doing rack pulls. Which wouldn’t have been an issue if the barbell moved more then an inch or two when lifting. The fact that your using a squat rack for a lift that provides no ROM.

I disagree on the cable squat. I find it helpful to increase my ancle flexibility. It may be very biased, but I think its great. Cable squat with a steep angle, not the angle Jeff did.
I’m going to attend my first mountain run this summer (20 mile long and a 0.62 mile climb), and although I’ve been hiking all my life, it is going to be tough! I am in good shape now but I’ve trained way more strength than cardio.

can the time of the day of exercising regularly affect if you lose fat and gain lean mass? I was wondering if instead of exercising in the morning, if i started working out in the evening, around 6-7pm, would have an effect on gaining muscle and losing fat. I have heard that generally your metabolic rate is higher in the mornings and it slows down as you get close to your sleeping time. So if I workout later in the day, would that help burn more energy and therefore increase my metabolic rate in evening?

Why do you put plates on the bar as if you’re trying to impregnate it?
The behind the neck pull down doesn’t even make your humorous line up with your lat fibers well so why the fuck would it be more lat anyways? It should primarily be a upper back movement. Why the hell does anyone need a study to tell you that it gets less than a pulldown to the front. The whole leaving back vs a torso at 90 degrees vs leaning forward shouldn’t even need to be done.. what the fuck. You can do that study and I do that study and get the exact opposite responses just by me adjusting grips, humerus paths, how the scapula moves through the ROM. Yes, no matter what I do, a lying incline pulldown to the front (everything positioned right) will be superior to my well positioned one while leaning back but I could also make a lat pulldown leaning back better than someone else’s lat pulldown at 90 degrees.
Since I changed to Shoulderpress behind the Neck, I grow so much mass on my Deltas

Actually it’s more of the compound movements which are gonna get you jacked! You only mentioned Incline bench and barbell squats. But more to point, focus mostly on Squats, Deadlifts, Bench Press, Overhead Press, Dips, and Bent Over Rows!
I like you Jeff, you are a beast, and your channel is awesome in so many ways. But for me personally.. i find that ATG squats saved my life. I used to have horrible back pain, it was there for years. No stretching helped, no foam rolling helped. Then one day I started doing high rep ATG squats ( 3 sets of 20) and now my back feels brand new….. i have no pain now. Also, my legs have grown tremendously. I used to have sticks for legs, now my legs r so thick that my thighs rub together when i walk lol. Also my deadlift explosiveness has increased tenfold. This is just my experience with ATG squats, personally I think they are a must. Clarence Kennedy comes to mind…. he doesnt even really do deadlifts, but since his legs r so strong from ATG squats he has insane explosive power and can deadlift remendous weight.
Some of that is jail shit cause there’s only a few machines an a lot of ppl. 2 shoulder machines with 2 thousand inmates u get creative.

Thanks for mentioning that rack pulls are just disrespectful to shared equipment. Block pulls are the way to do it if you really want that overload.
The first program I was on when I started lifting about 8 months ago included front raises, but noted to do them very slowly. I found that doing them slow at a low weight was an insanely hard forearm workout, and I didn’t feel it in my front delts at all unless I went heavier and faster. No idea if it’s worth it as a forearm workout compared to other options, but it was tough as hell.
Using this vertical jump training “Jumοnοz Azb” (G0OGLE it) has allowed me to make lots of development in my game. I changed from being a bench warmer and a poor dunker to being a great dunker (numerous dunks per game) and being in a winning team in the state championship. I have tried many vertical jump programs but this one tops them all..
Above the knee rack pulls are awesome for trap thickness and growth. I do 300kg for 10 reps but i never slam the weights I control the movement so there’s no damage to the bar or rack. If you recklessly slam it then the weight your using is too heavy for you.

Front raises are important for bench press. It’s the basic. I always had a big lower chest but small shoulders (looked a little bit like man tits ^^ even tho my lower chest was muscular) I benched 70 kg 5 times one year ago. Then I fokussed on my shoulders and did a lot of front raises. Now I can bench 90 kg x 5. (1,94 m 95kg)

If you want to get some sexy pecs you should use dumbells instead of a barbell on the bench press, beacuse they give a better range of motion and even out muscle imbalances also it better activates the chest, you should also do incline bench press as it emphasizes the upper chest more also you should do dips to get a nice lower chest which is important for building a sexy balanced well defined chest.

My favorite exercises is the behind the back single arm bench with dumbbells on it deadlift standing on pull bars, I also attach a dip belt to it and put that on my neck and to increase the amount of weight I can use. If you try this PLEASE don’t bend you knees at all as it directs HIGH amounts of straining onto your hamstrings

Actually u don’t nedd to grab the pull up bar very wide because you can get injury in your shoulders so you can grab it just a little wider than your shoulders. Then squees your scapulas and pull so your chin must be over the bar.

The only exercise in your list I’ve kept, though not often, is cable squats as a warm-up. Still, I get more results from cable lunges really feel the burn in quads and glutes.

for some reason my rear delts are well developed and the front are not so much. Even though as he said they work in other exercises
