For the last one yr i am having dawn syndrome like i hv my fasting sugar level btwn 150-190. I found this vdo of yours and started exercising in the evening. Today, I checked and found my sugar level 177 before exercise. I exercised only for 12 mnts and then i checked again and to my utter surprise it was only 127.OMG!!! I am thrilled. I always have trouble maintaining an exercise streak because the workouts I follow intimidate me and I find that I have to force myself to do it and I dread them. It’s so fun and each exercise is simple yet there is scope for a more challenging version. Plus I’m sweating. This is going to be go-to workout for those days when I don’t feel like exercising. According to my fitbit I’ve burnt 350 calories doing this workout (30 minutes).. i do have 7 stone to lose so I’m a bigger girl.. do those amount of calories burnt sound about right or has the fitbit overestimated it?

A few years ago (before I found you two) I had plantar fasciitis. Toe separators proved instrumental in getting through that. Since then I have paid greater attention and put more effort toward using my foot muscles and stretching my feet etc. Toed shoes and minimalist sandals and shoes have been nothing short of amazing regarding footwear and foot health. However after my friend follow it, and finally lost crazy amounts of weight by using it without starving herself. I’m persuaded. Do not take my word for it, search for Custokebon Secrets on google.

I exercise at night and wonder if this is it? I do have some sweats during sleep, am i hitting a low around 2-3 am and then dumping insulin in body? Is that causing the morning high? You guys are great together. You really helped me stay positive when I was having knee pain. Its feeling much better for now but my doctor told me losing weight would help keep the pain from returning. All the experts agree you lose weight at the intake side. Hi Chloe , I do an OMAD intermittent fasting lifestyle and I was wondering if I could do my afternoon workout before I broke my fast? I only have a 4 hour window in which I allow myself to eat my meal (from 2-6 in the evening) and I go to bed at 9. I often do my workout depend sometimes in my best performance. I do not have schedules, i just do the workout when I want. It’s my habit tho, but sometimes, i feel so tardy to do the workout because of the climate. U know. When it is hot, I just want to sleep.

I started doing excercise to loose weight and I have lost 6 kilos so far, but from last few weeks I started feeling shaky, heavy head and very tired and I checked my glucose level it was from 5.5 to 6.7mmol/l. I started working out for awhile l started working out at home. I have type 2 diabetes. I started at 183 pounds. My a1c was 9.0. I now weigh 146.4 pounds. I pretty much workout when l am able to. My a1c is 5.7. I went to my nurse practitioner about a month ago and that was the result. She was very happy. I just ate better and got exercise in when I could. I exercise about 5 times a week. Some times 4 times a week. I take metformin. I usually don’t workout in the morning because I am not a morning person. I take glmepiride. I also have to take gabapentin l have taken that because of diabetic nerve pain in my toes. I want to reverse all this diabetes problems. I am supposed to weigh 110 to 121. I have a ways to go. I am hoping when I get to 121 that the diabetes is gone and I can get off of all this crappy medication. I am 65. I will be 66 November 15th. I usually work out with Denise Austin. I have been working out with her since l have been in my 30’s. I have been working out with Margaret Richards since I was in my 30’s too. I have also worked out with Gilda and his sister Ada Janco wits. I am not sure how to spell their name. I haven’t worked out with them for years. They are from Hawaii. The sister had a show called basic training and the brother had a show bodies in motion. I use to do all of them, but I gained the weight back twice, but now I have type 2 diabetes. It is not a question of just looking good. It is serious. When I start gaining the weight back my arm start hurting and l had to get a stint in my heart. Then l was eventually thirsty all the time and my girlfriend told me to get a A1 C test. Then I found out that I had diabetes 2. What freaking fun. Not!! Then I end up getting IBS. I am trying to reverse all this and go see my daughter in Eugene, Oregon. I have to feel better though. I just hope and pray l can do this and keep it off. It is making me miserable. I have to still get my workout in today and it is 10:39 pm now, but I guess I will have to do yoga cause it is sooo late. Anyway got to get started. Bye. Take care!!

I go to sleep at 12 am but wake up at 6-7 am like it’s nothing however before quarantine I went to sleep at 9 pm and struggled to wake up when I was supposed to at 5 am. With this workout alone, I am able to close two rings in my Apple Watch: Move Ring (290 cals), Exercise Ring (30 mins). I feel good.
Can’t say much about this workout because this is my first time trying this out but I have to say, my airways are literally hollow right now. My chest usually feels constricted when I try to take deep inhales but right now as I take my deep breaths, I cannot feel the pit if you know what I mean. I’m happy my lungs are clearing out and feeling lighter! I thought I was asthmatic! Will definitely do this workout twice daily for a month! Will be back after a month and update!

I am used to walking everywhere because I have not driven a car in almost 24 years due to a chronic medical condition. Sometimes I go out and walk just for the exercise, and because I can go anyplace I want to. One of the fascinating things about walking a lot and not relying on a car is that you get to go exploring and see a lot of things you otherwise wouldn’t notice out of a car window. It is wise to wear a watch or have some means of timing yourself so you know how long you have been outside, because if you decide to wander down a street that you’ve never investigated before it might take a while longer than you’d thought. It might not be a good plan for me to go outside this morning as it is raining right now I keep reminding myself that this will bring May flowers while my inner child pouts and hates being stuck inside.

My podiatrist has told me that I’m not allowed to walk for exercise, but with a good pair of shoes, I’m doing it anyway. Got a fitness watch, and started out with a goal of 5000 steps. I’m increasing my goals slowly, but always exceed them. Only problem is uneven sidewalks I’m now nursing a skinned knee!
You guys hit the nail on the head with this one. Over the past year I have lost 160 lbs and am nearing my goal weight, less than 10 pounds to go. I lost the first 100 pounds by changing my eating habits and walking, nothing more. Bob’s statement of weight loss is done at the table is absolutely correct. You will NEVER out walk a bad diet. Wish with all my might I could walk as much as I want to, let alone run. I have awful plantar fasciitis and a horrible supinación (outward gait). I trained for about 2 years on an empty stomach in the morning and man I can tell you working out in the afternoon is way better (okay maybe not for the gym goers because Its full as heck). I was shredded because of the morning workouts but at the same time I was sluggish and just wanted to sleep for some hours even when I was working and my productivity came to an hold. After switchting to a afternoon routine (and yes of course Its a lot harder to workout when you know you have freetime and after work) but after the workout I just take a little nap for 10 minutes and feel like a fresh born calb. Just try It out for some weeks and If the Gym is too full, just workout outside or @home. I trained for 10 years in a gym and working out outside with some gymnastic rings and a calisthenics park was my holy grail. Some Vitamin D from the Sun, meeting all kind of positive poeple and riding back home with my bike for some post workout cardio. Do the best of the things you have available.

Hi Guys, thank you for this great video. Question….I have stenosis which makes fitness walking very painful after about 10-15 minutes. What is your advice to keep me motivated to keep going? I walk a 1/2 mile track at a pretty good pace but I have to sit and rest before I can do another 1/2 mile. Am I getting the same benefit as someone walking continuously for 30-45 minutes? It is very frustrating. I have the desire to fitness walk but the pain is so intense some days that I can’t continue. Any suggestions would be very helpful. Thank you.

It was one of your arch support videos that got me walking every day, again. I needed arch supports and didn’t realize it, I walk at least a half hour a day, for the last year.
interestingly my neck pain comes out when I walk, however I walk every week 5-6km once or twice. Lately the pain comes out after around 1 hr walk. I saw elderly people put their arms behind teir back while walking, and that helps. I walk in running shoes. I love those booya sticks btw.
You don’t have to go anywhere to walk. Walk at home, in place or walk around the house. I lost 15 lbs doing that within 2 months and by eating within a caloric deficit. No gym, no membership, just consistency.
I might do some walking in nature instead of all at the treadmill at the gym this spring.

I use pole walking sticks by Keenfit. You can adjust them to the proper height and also adjust the base of the pole to rubber tips or spikes depending on where you’re walking. You automatically improve your posture as you walk and use your arm muscles and back muscles. My Fitbit will oftentimes recognize it as jogging. They are great if you’ve had hip replacement or knee replacements. I took them to London on vacation and was thankful I did as the cobblestone streets we’re quite a challenge.

Well that explains why I worked out for 1 to 2 hours at 4:30am for 18 months and never lost a pound. I worked with a trainer and nutritionist. My doctor had a cow when I told her what I was doing. They were so wrong and never even questioned if I could be diabetic. Once I trashed everything they said I should do and did the opposite it worked.
TLDW Afternoon is best time to exercise but after you ate lunch and go on a 15 min walk however you can still exercise when ever it just depends on YOU

Reason why evening workouts are better is solely because you usually have eaten meals before, giving you the energy you need for your workout compared to the morning where you usually have only eaten breakfast. More food, more energy. Even if you are well rested in the morning, your muscles don’t function off sleep, they function off glucose(carbs).
I can’t do up and down planks. Maybe on my knees. Or I just hold a plank

I suffered minor Ischemic stroke last year, just walking (sometime fast walking) is a great exercise. I also follow 16 8 intermittent fasting. In last 4 months i have lost 13 kg. Now my vitals; cholesterol, hdl, ldl, triglycerides, BP and sugar are under control.

Hi, my lifestyles is not on time type. Because my job timing is international time from my original time(6 hours backwards). I work from afternoon to morning. 2nd question is, whenever to exercise. Can i exercise with empty stomach. And can i exercise right after i finish my meal(at least 10mins after meal) thank you.

actually, sir as I am a worker I do have lot of physical activity but at same time being skinny and slim is so much embarrassing so I would be great full to you if could suggest me something about gym to put some weight
So can I just do your hourglass program in the morning on empty stomach then eat after or maybe eat something small before and then do the hourglass challenge
4 7 pm without a shadow of a doubt for weights. I have tried weights in the morning even after a decent breakfast…….Didnt like the result. I can even be a bit tired after a day at work and get a better lifting session at 6 pm.
Now I fell smart because I did each and every thing the same without any research.

Been eating healthy all week cause I started the two week full body & ab workout… plus I’ve been doing 30 mins 1 hour walks right after… now I feel like I’m depriving my self of food and energy & I’m craving Wingstop Pray for me!!

I did this workout for the first time and enjoyed it. I am 67 years old and have knee problems but I am pretty active. I enjoyed this workout. I am sure do do it again.
I prefer morning workouts; for me, it becomes harder to get off my ass with adequate motivation the more the day progresses. I also noticed that the less I have eaten before my workout the better my form is and I can safely say that straight coffee and a light to medium breakfast can guarantee you a one-and-a-half-hour banger of a workout session.

Ok I need help I’m 13 and I weighed 105 pounds and I hated that so I did one of chloes programs and ate super healthy and ate way less than I used to… I weigh like 95 pounds now but idk if that’s heathy for a 13 year old I’m still waiting for my period and it’s been like 5 months my breasts are not getting any bigger, all my friends have really big ones and I’m scared but I really really want a small waist and a flat tummy… please help

If you can’t get up between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. what other time do you suggest and after one hour after eating what you think would be okay to do for each meal that you eat and also will it help diabetic as a person with and without it?
