Its a 27 calorie difference, i prefer walking because while running you can create injury. Walking is safe, takes longer tho.
Thanks for the video. I’d rather turn a free milk on 4% incline keep a minimum of 4mph and save my body the shin splint/impact jolting of running. You can always hit the emergency stop which gives you 60 seconds to continue while you sprint jogging in place which is less impact on the body and raises your heart rate.

I agree, the level of energy to expend is much higher with running. In other words, let’s say you drive your car faster at 80 miles per hour from a slower pace of 55 mph you’re going to burn through more gas. The more energy our body uses the more calories it will need. Walking takes less exertion and the impact ratio is much lower. The higher your feet lifts off the ground the higher the impact will become along with more stride repetition the more calories you’ll need as fuel. The impact, stride repetition and speed for walking is lower than running therefore requiring less calories. Just think of a race car vs a regular car. Which one is going to go through more fuel quicker? (calories)
I was looking more at jogging/ running vs. race walking. That is where I have heard that more calories are burned in “walking” than with jogging. Neat that you did this one, though.

This is true what she says that you can burn 1000 calories but you have to take into consideration that everyone is different. If you have a few extra lbs or not use to exercising then just walking alone or doing anything is going to get your heart rate up over 70%. Someone with average body fat or lean like myself can’t even burn 300 calories with 30 mins of sprinting lol. The reason for this is the body’s metabolism. The fitter you are the harder you have to work to burn calories.

You Girls and men should do more running instead of walking… or do the abdominal workout and zero100 workout.. which reduce over 2500 calories if you do them both… got rid of 20 kgs in over a month or 2.. try it and nice video.. no offence what i said Vivian..:)

I walk more miles then that and don’t even burn that many calories… I walked a lil over 8 miles in a lil under 3 hours and only burned 840 calories… And the average is 100 calories a mile… I even walked 11 miles and didn’t burn what you did in your video… So I don’t get how you are burning that in less then what I do…. Please do tell your secret because makes no sense and I even googled if someone ran that.. Good job on the walking tho… Its a great workout and I love walking…. P.S. i do have a truck lol.. I do XC and Track and i lost a lot of weight but i been eating healthier to and I ‘m so use to the habit it kind of scares my parents because of how much weight I’m losing they think its a bad thing because I ‘m under weight but i have been getting my periods every month and i just think its because I’m a runner and they are concerned for me they may not let me continue running:c any tips of gaining back weight or how to deal with that?
